I have an iPhone 5c and downloaded an audiobook from my public library (via Overdrive Media). The loan has expired and the book is no longer listed in Overdrive, nor iTunes, but is still on my iPhone (taking up space). How can I delete it?

First, open up the Settings app on your device, then tap on the "General' then "Usage" tabs.
Under the "Manage Storage" heading, you’ll be presented with a list of content that’s eating up the space on your device. Tap on the ‘Music’ app.
Within this menu you'll be able to see all of the audiobooks currently installed on your device. To delete one, simply swipe your finger along it to reveal the "Delete" button
Now, you can delete audiobook on iPhone directly.

The release of a new product does not necessarily affect existing apps.
It is common for developers to redesign/update their apps when a new version of iOS is released, and this can mean a particular app is no longer compatible with a certain phone if that phone can't run a new enough version of iOS.
When iOS 7 was released, many apps were redesigned for iOS 7 and were only available if you had iOS 7 on your device. This left the iPhone 3GS and older iPhones in the dust, if you will.
The existence of the next iPhone will not necessarily mean existing apps will stop working/be pulled.

I had a av cord that plugged into the iPhone 3gs and iPad 2 but its not compatible with the 5 connector. Right now i have to email myself the videos in small segments and open and save on the iPad 2 to burn them. Is there an easier way to burn these from my iPhone 5 or through air play on apple tv?

Connect the phone by USB to the computer, import with image capture, iPhoto or whatever application you use to import movies, drop it into iTunes.

No dont plug in your Iphone/ipod the same thing happened to me and all of my stuff got deleted from my ipod and itunes after that. And even when i got help they couldnt replace 200 items (music) of mine so just a warning, dont plug it in. Hope it helped

First you need to authorize your computer with your iTunes account with iTunes. With your iPhone connected to iTunes and without syncing, at the iTunes menu bar go to File and select Transfer Purchases From - the name of your iPhone.
The iPhone is not designed or intended to be used as a backup storage device or as a storage device to transfer data from one computer to another.

ITunes album artwork randomly removed from iPhone after sync.

iTunes 12.1.0.50. IOS 8.1.3. iPhone 5. 23GB free space on iPhone.
Album art is randomly removed from iPhone after sync. This seems to be new to the recent version of iTunes.
Removed and reinstalled all music. No help, problem still occurs.
Restored iPhone as a new iPhone and reinstalled all music. At first, all artwork was installed, but on later sync, random artwork was removed or missing. Problem reoccurs.
This appears to be a bug in the software somewhere.
Anyone having similar problems?

i have had this at least three times now in the past month.
I too had to do a factory reset and set up a a new phone.
i read an article about it being a known issue and something to do with duplicate tracks causing it to hang during sync. it then fills up the available space with the dreaded "other" data and hey ho you have no music.

Video's removed from iPhone and will no longer Sync

I have recently purchased an iPhone 3G and have been setting it up over the last few days.
I eventually discovered that I can convert videos from my old phone to .mp4 format, added them to iTunes and sync'd with teh iPhone and was able to view them on my iPhone with full sound and colour, all good...
However I have just tried adding some more and found that all the video's i had previously sync'd have dissappeared from my iPhone, and iTunes will no longer allow me to sync them back to the phone.
I do not get an error message, and it appears when i drag and drop the files to the attached device, that it is ok, and then nothing happens.
Can anyone tell me why these video's will no longer appear on my iPhone.

However, as i stated before, the video's were transfered before, and worked, and then removed and will no longer transfer?

Deleted message not removed from iPhone Inbox

Since updating my iPhone 3G to 4.01 I have found that when I delete messages from the inbox the messages are not completely removed from the inbox. I am left with a blank unread message. The only way I can completely delete is to turn the phone off and restart. Is anybody else having this problem? I have also found that I lose service in places I have been able to use the phone.

All Settings Suddenly Changed - All Info Removed from Iphone

This morning I went to sync as usual and got an error message saying "not enough space on my iPhone".. which has never happened before.... As I started to investigate, (using the iTunes inteface) it looks like all my music was removed from my phone. Now, when I look at the bar diagram of my iPhone 90% of my space is filled with "Other"......
I have done nothing different to my iPhone or to my computer, and wondered why all my settings got wacked?
Am I crazy (like it says on my bracelet?) or have others ran into this issue?

What happened was some part of your last sync was corrupted and, subsequently, your information was garbled. Since the iPhone can't read the garbled information, it reports it as other.
You need to restore the phone from iTunes and the problem will be corrected.

Can anyone confirm that there really is no way to do this? Apple suggests that we have to replace our apps under a different name!?!
I can't help but feeling a bit sad about this. Surely I can't ask all my clients to redownload the app (and make up a different name for it) just because I can't update to Air 2.6??

AIR 2.6 apps won't run on the older devices, and one of the rules with the App Store is that you can't remove devices from the list that the app supports. The instructions on that page are slightly confusing, in that it suggests to remove the old app and then upload the new one with a new App ID, implying that it would be the same name, but then it also says that if you delete an app from the store you're not allowed to use the same name again.
If you did manage to replace the current app with an AIR 2.6 one without your users having to pay again, you would still then have the problem that customers with older phones would not be able to get the update anyway. So one way or another you're going to upset some of your customers.
One option would be to update the app with the old packager purely to present a splash screen telling people about a new version with better performance on later devices. Then some time later put that new version into the store with an introduction price that is very low, and after a few days increase the price to its normal amount, and also update the old app to remove the splash screen.
You could perhaps call the new version "HD", as it would support Retina display. Doing it that way would still leave you with the ability to do bug fix updates with the old packager for users of the old app.
