Can't set keybinding with ctrl key ?

I use compiz in lxsession. If I set compiz commands and assign ctrl key it resets back to something without ctrl and also If I set guake to ctrl+alt+space I get keybinding error. For example.
I want to set ctrl+alt+del to lxde-logout. As I set the key combination in ccsm and press back to come to ccsm main window the command sets to alt+del. I tried with tilda as well but to no avail. What should I do ?

I've had similar problems with compiz. I'm not sure if it can do this at all.

according to nod32 i have no virus...

Depending on where you find a suitable and correct
replacement keyboard for an iBook G4 (differences
exist between models, builds, etc) the cost for this
part may well be worth it; then while it is working OK
then consider selling it. Or waiting and then it may
be worth a fair bit as parts when something else goes.

Missing key in OCR, can't set interfaces with oifcfg

I have installed clusterware on a 2 node cluster running RedHat 5.
OCR and voting disks are on raw devices, but everthing else is shared using GFS.
I can start both nodes but I can't seem to add interfaces through oifcfg.
In fact the SYSTEM.css.interfaces key does not exist in my OCR.
I applied fixs in Oracle MetaLink Note #414163.1, but when I try to do oifcfg to set my interfaces
I get a "registry key does not exist" error.

[root@ora2 bin]# ./oifcfg iflist

Checking the oifcfg.log I could see it was trying to update key SYSTEM.css.interfaces
2008-02-05 17:36:12.504: [ default][2897118400]OCR api procr_open_key failed for key SYSTEM.css.interfaces
I did a dump of my OCR and confirmed that this key does not exist.
I even tried regenerating my OCR with ./clscfg -install. The new one is exactly the same as the old
just different time stamps.
So now I am stuck. vipca won't run until the interfaces are defined and oifcfg won't them
because the OCR is missing a key. Does anyone know how to create this key in the OCR?
Does it need to be there?
I have thought reinstalling from scratch but I do not think anything will change as the only
thing that creates the OCR is clscfg -install in the rootconfig script.

in the $CRS_HOME/install/rootconfig, some people comment out a section that Fails. Specifically this section.

DO NOT COMMENT IT OUT.
$CH/bin/ocrconfig -upgrade $CRS_ORACLE_OWNER $CRS_DBA_GROUP is what writes these keys. People get the failed error when it fails the root.sh and decide to comment it out. Everything looks like it completes, but thiis key is not there. Instead, get the patch below which replaces the clsfmt.bin on all nodes. Uncomment the code in your rootconfig and that should fix you up. Good Luck!
PATCH 4679769 has the fixed clsfmt.bin
Also, check the permissions on your disks! Sometimes that causes it to fail as well.
Also, if on RHEL5, you will need to do the unset on LD_ASSUME_KERNEL in the vipca and srvctl files under $CRS_HOME/bin (which is fixed in 10.2.0.4 so no uncommenting needed)

Can we associate index with foreign key?

hello
i have searched and could not find the answer to the above;
i have a foreign key constraint on the tables; i added an index on that column as well;
however when i query the all_constraints, under index_name for this foreign constraint there is nothing; only when i have PK/UK i case see indexes associated with them;
will then oracle still associate my index with the FK constrained column? or i need to excplicity associate it with the foreign key column? if so, how to do that?

if I add I1 and I2 to a set

S.add(I2);
there are two elements I1 and I2 in the set. How is this possible?

You must override the method hashCode() of your class C to be consistent with the comparison by equals() method.

Can I set "open with" for files - associate file types with a 3rd party app

I have PDF file attachments inside my OmniFocus application. When I double-tap them, they get opened in the standard Apple PDF viewer. But I have a better 3rd-party app which opens PDFs and allows me to edit them (mark them up) - I'd like the attachments to open in this app instead of the normal PDF viewer. I don't want to have to switch to the 3rd party app to open it - it's important to me that I can place comments on many, many PDFs inside of OmniFocus. So:
1) is it possible to ask the iPad to have all PDFs to open in this 3rd party app?
2) if not, is it possible to name the attachments some other extension (e.g., .xyz) and tell it to open all .xyz files with the 3rd-party PDF viewer?

Can you set Mail with 'outgoing only' addresses?

I run my own mail server that collects all my incoming emails, but have many addresses to send from. On ahem Outlook, I could stop accounts from collecting mail, and set them to send mail only.
Is there a way to set Mail to have 'send-only' email accounts?

It does only sync over wi-fi!

Checking for Ctrl key after DropTargetDragEvent

Hi,
I need help with a program which contains a table and a tree. A DropTargetDragEvent is fired whenever selected line(s) from the table are dragged to the tree. Upon dragEnter() I do some action. How can I detect if the Ctrl key is pressed at that moment?
Any suggestions are highly appreciated.

It doesn't make a difference if I call dropTarget.setDefaultActions(DnDConstants.ACTION_COPY_OR_MOVE) or not.
But I just noticed that event.getDropAction() returns DnDConstants.ACTION_MOVE when I press the SHIFT key and DnDConstants.ACTION_COPY otherwise. This is better than nothing but actually I wanted to detect the CTRL key.

FN CTRL Keys Swap in X220 BIOS?

Can someone with an X220 please verify that you can swap the FN and CTRL keys in the BIOS.

It should be there on all BIOS versions for the X220. I don't see why they would remove the feature.

The problem is that you are using application-identity. When you
specify an objectid-class, we treat is automatically as application
identity. To resolve this, I would recommend removing both the
objectid-class and identity-type atributes from your class. With
"objectid-class" in place, we asssume that you wil take care of identity.

To use ClassSequenceFactory must the identity-type of my entities be
application or datastore?
Is the "objectid-class" parameter required in this case?

use this property to represent my object id?

The last question is related to my architecture: one VM with the EJBs
(entity and session) and another VM with the web classes and JSPs,
connected by a session facade. I don't want to use any Kodo or JDO stuff
in the web tier. Is this possible?

Yes, putting a script that submits the form in the WillPrint action is sufficient - got it working after I found the JS for Acrobat API Reference. I haven't actually used Post before and I think I misread something when doing some research that gave me the wrong idea.

Can I set my screen view to zoom out (ie to 90%) permanently, so that after shutdown it remembers the settings for all pages whenever opened (until I change it again) ?

On internet explorer I can set the 'zoom' to 90% and all subsequent internet pages, tabs, windows display at this setting even after shutdown/reboot etc. It is a permanaent setting until I change it. I need this for my eyesight (long-sighted). Can I set this with Firefox?
