Can't set max\min frequencies with CPUpower

Hi all ! And happy easter to everyone !
I'm having a problem with CPU Frequency Scaling... I want to set maximum and minimum frequencies according to mi CPU specs, but I'm unable to do this.
Well, starting from the beginning :
I've a Samsung NP535U3C laptop, with and AMD A6-4455 APU. I've two boost pstates, in fact TurionPowerControl tells to me

So, my question is, why the ondemand governor can switch only between 2.10GHz and 1.3Ghz ? Should'nt switch between 2.6Ghz and 900MHz ?
I've tried to set lower frequency to 900 MHz whit the command :
cpupower frequency-set -d 900MHz
but nothing changed, the lower frequency still remained 1.3Ghz
I've also tried to set the maximum and minimum frequencies in /etc/default/cpupower :

I've tried ondemand and userspace governors but the situation is the same whit both of them, I always get hardware limits 1.30 - 2.10 GHz.
I've also tried to set the processor.ignore_ppc=1 boot flag, but it was selfish.
Someone could help me ? At least to set the lower frequacy to 900MHz so I can save a bit of battery.

Hi ! And thank you for your reply !! I'm always on conservative when I'm on battery to save some power. At this point I think I should report the problem to AMD. However here is my /proc/cpuinfo :

I found a way to fix this, it did the trick for me:

All you have to do is include a new e-mail account [email protected] (set it as a default) on Outlook with the options that are showed in the thread I linked and you should have the calendars and tasks syncronised. It works perfectly with ipod touch, ipad and Outlook 2010 on windows 7.

I am sampling analog inputs. I simply want to display the max and min values with the time they occurred. This seems simple but I am new to LabView and can't find a Vi to do this.

Here's the code. When you run the demo program, you'll see three traces: Green is the max so far, Red is the min so far, and White is the current signal value.
As the input value cycles, you'll see the two limit values track its extremes. If you have any questions about how it works, just holler.

How can I set the sampling frequency in Labview if I am not using DAQ?

I am working with bluetooth to send my four signals from my circuit to the computer. So, I am using VISA to acquire the data in labview. Since as you know its not possible to use DAQ while using bluetooth.
anyway after getting the signal I need to filter ir for analysis part and I am using filter express VI from signal processing's functions. However, I am getting error, since I dont have the sampling frequency set and I am not able to set it in my filter function either.
I was wondering If there is a way of making labview recognize the clock-timer as the sampling rate or any other way to set the sampling frequency somewhere before the filters.

Sender side is sendng 2 bytes of FF in the begining of the loop and 2 bytes of zeros between each signal, I am attaching the code as ICCV8 file (I will also attach it as a notepad file), so you can see what I mean. I had written some solutions for that as well in my program before but not sure if it was correct or not. I tried to search for FF bytes as a string, after getting each 18 bytes. But apparently it doesnt find the FF, I reckon because of wrong conversions beforehand, so it stops the programm there. Im attaching the that program now as well. could you please take a look?

How can I set up company ipads with preloaded apps and files?

I want to set up multiple ipads with preloaded apps and files before handing them out to employees. We intendend the employee to be able to install their own content on the device using their own itunes account. When I attempted to connected to a pc using a personal account my the content obtained by the company account was prompted to be removed. Was this done incorrectly? Is there a way I can set up company ipads with preloaded apps and files so that they don't get removed when the user connects them to another computer with another itunes account?
Right now we are looking to have the employee use their own itunes account and reimburse the expense for the needed apps, but this could be an issue if they leave the company and the device is reassigned.

Yes this is possible. I've been using Apple Configurator to do this (you could also use iTunes to restore backups). The trick is, you need to tell the end user not to sync apps within his/her iTunes on his/her computer. You will need to instruct the end user to download apps OTA using the App Store on the iPad rather than with iTunes on his/her computer. If the user tries to sync apps on his/her computer, it will wipe out apps that you installed. However if the user downloads apps OTA, your apps and the user downloaded apps will both stay on the iPad.
When you hand the iPad to the user, be sure to log out of your company Apple ID on the iPad at Settings -> Store and have them sign in with their personal Apple ID. That way it is all set for them to download apps under their own Apple ID.

I was wondering if something like this exists for OS X Lion or greater: you can set a default application to open a type of file, say Safari for all .html files, but can you set a second default application for a file?
I usually open files using command + o or command + down arrow from the Finder and I've often thought how good it would be to hit an alternate keyboard shortcut to open the selected file in a secondary default application.
For example, if I'm making a web page and have the .html selected in the finder I can hit command + o (or command + down arrow) to open it in Safari and if the file isn't open in my editor and is selected in the Finder I can hit, say command + option + o (or command + option + down arrow) to open the .html file in my editor.
Does anyone know if this can be achieved in OS X Lion or greater?
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

If anyone's interested in a partial solution, I've rigged up the following.
I ended up using an Automator action coupled with Spark to capture a keyboard key combination. Spark: http://www.shadowlab.org/Software/spark
I've used Spark before with good results, and although it's from 2008 it still works on Lion.
I created an Automator action that does two things:
gets the selected Finder items
opens finder items in the text editor I'm using.
I then saved the workflow as an application so that Spark could run it.
I've set up a keyboard shortcut that Spark picks up and calls my Automator workflow. It all seems to work nicely.
So, I've created a specific "open selected file with <text editor>" keyboard shortcut that should do for the time being.

It does not make sense that your ssh does not have a dash capital Y (-Y) option. It is in "man ssh", and my 10.6.6 has the -Y option, and I've had a -Y option since at least Tiger (10.4) days.

Does your broken account have a $HOME/.ssh/config file, and if so, what is in it?
Does the broken account have any $HOME/.x* or $HOME/.X* files that X11 might be reading to configure your X11 behavior differently from the new test account?

The above are a few names I found looking through "man X"
While I'm thinking about it, I assume that when going to the server, you are using the exact same user account on the server, so that you have a constant at least at that end.
Have you tried trashing your
$HOME/Library/Preferences/org.x.X11.plist
file, to see if that is affecting the broken account?
Again, I am just throwing out ideas to see if anything sticks.
