Can't start a queue connection
Hi!
I can't get start a queue connection, when getting a connection object from a clustered server.
I try this:
QueueConnectionFactory qf = getJMSConnectionFactory();
QueueConnection m_queueConnection = qf.createQueueConnection();
m_queueConnection.start();
--> here I'm getting an exception....
weblogic.jms.common.JMSException: Connection not found
at weblogic.jms.dispatcher.InvocableManager.invocableFind(InvocableManager.java:121)
at weblogic.jms.dispatcher.Request.wrappedFiniteStateMachine(Request.java:509)
at weblogic.jms.dispatcher.DispatcherImpl.dispatchSync(DispatcherImpl.java:272)
at weblogic.jms.client.JMSConnection.start(JMSConnection.java:442)
The method getJMSConnectionFactory() is quite simple, it looks up a JMSConnectionFactory object,
that is deployed to a cluster. I have tried using the default connection factory (weblogic.jms.ConnectionFactory)
and also some other one, but without success. What can I do? Without the cluster it works fine.
Any help is welcome,
regards,
przemek

Can't start a cloned connection while in manual transaction mode
Hi every body
I'm trying to set my connection autoCommit to false and begin a manual transaction in my application .I use sql server 2000 as my dbms and I set the connection selectMethod to "cursor" ,but when I run my application I see this error
Can't start a cloned connection while in manual transaction mode
what's wrong??Very hard to say using the code posted. However, a few things immediately jump out at me:
Call setAutoCommit() immediately after getting the Connection. I have never tried calling that method in the middle of a transaction, and I imagine the results are not good.
Where are your Statements? You should use PreparedStatement whenever possible. At worst, use a Statement. I don't even see that.
Either commit and rollback yourself, or let auto-commit do it. IMO, whenever you write SQL, you should be coginzant of when a commit or rollback should occur. Therefore, I never use auto-commit.- Saish -
Why job queue can't start?
DB: Oracle 9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.5.0
Platform: Windows 2003 Server
I imported several job queues from another oracle DB, after submit them, it seems everything is ok. But it can't start automatically upon reach time. (Should be run every 2 minutes)
I check the dba_jobs view, BROKEN = N, INTERVAL = ‘sysdate + 2/60/24’,FAILUERS=0. And I can successfully execute the job by DBMS_JOB.RUN(job_no), but it won't start again after next time reach.
CONNECT, RESOURCE and SELECT_CATALOG_ROLE privilege were granted to job owner, and JOB_QUEUE_PROCESSES parameter was set to 10. JOB_QUEUE_INTERVAL wasn't set in init.ora file.
no relative error was found in alter.log file.
Thanks.even there's no job runing you should still see this process after you set
JOB_QUEUE_PROCESSES
if you select from v$process you should see some process like this
oracle@yourhost (J000)
I don't have a Window platform to test this, because in windows Oracle is threaded instead of having seperate processes
How Jobs Execute
Jnnn processes execute jobs. To execute a job, the process creates a session to run the job. When a Jnnn process runs a job, the job is run in the same environment in which it was submitted and with the owner's default privileges. The owner must be explicitly granted the necessary object privileges for all objects referenced within the job definition.
When you force a job to run using the procedure DBMS_JOB.RUN, the job is run by your user process and with your default privileges only. Privileges granted to you through roles are unavailable. You must be explicitly granted the necessary object privileges for all objects referenced within the job definition.

I have tried everything, but still I can't locate the photos tab in iTunes...I have tried changing the resolution, started iTunes after connecting with the ipad2, nothing seems to work! please advise!
I am also providing you with a screenshot of what appears! I need photos on my iPad2
Message was edited by: anganaYou don't see it on the left-hand side of iTunes - you need to connect and select the iPad on the left-hand side, and then one of the tabs on the right-hand side that you use to select which content to sync to the iPad should be Photos : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4236
You will need to select and sync all the photos that you want on the iPad together in one go as only the most recent sync remains on the iPad, not including photos in a subsequent sync is how you delete them from it. -

Hey ! I was senting a text and my iphone suddendly off. I try to press "home" and "start" and to connect it at itunes but it doesn't work! Can you help me please
Hold HOME and START at the same time until an Apple logo appears. This is called a "reset", and essentially it reboots iOS. You will need to hold for about 10 seconds.

When I than starting IE the connection will starting en is oké.
You should actually be using Flash 10.3 (11.2 is insecure).[[Flash 11.3 doesn't load video in Firefox#w_solution-2-downgrade-flash|Solution 2: Downgrade Flash]].
Also, is there a reason you are using Firefox ESR? It's mean for organizations, and doesn't include all the security and stability fixes that Firefox latest (15.0.1) has. -
JoltConnectionPool can not start in weblogic server
Hi
I am trying to run the sample Tuxedo provided application which uses Servlets or Ejb.
Now the Tuxedo Server has been configured and running properly.
I have WebLogic Server installed and had created the JoltSessionPool with name "MAJoltConnectionPool" and had also defined the StartupClass & ShutdonClass.
While defining the JoltSessionPool i had given min services as 1 and max services as 5 and others as default,
and the JoltSessionPool's target is a weblogic managed server which named ct2.
Then i tryed to start the ct2 server on command line such as:
startManagedWebLogic.cmd ct2 http://localhost:7001
I got an error in starting "MAJoltConnectionPool" but the server ct2 is starting normally.
Anyone who can help me to find out the reason? Thanks a lot.
The Command Line window shown following in the Log:

With Regards
HanHi
To resolve this problem , you have 2 solutions:
- modify the config.xml file to add in the tag <security-configuration> the following line :
<clear-text-credential-access-enabled>true</clear-text-credential-access-enabled>
or
- check the checkbox "Clear Text Credential Access Enabled" in the settings for the domain / security / general / advanced
restart the weblogic server to activate this change if necessary (Normaly, no restarts are necessary with weblogic server v10.3.5.0)
Hope this reponse help you (if it's not too late ;-) )

"can not start a job" issue in AWM
Hi ALL,
I am maintaining my cube from PLSQL with following options
1. buildtype = "BACKGROUND"
2. trackstatus = "true"
3. maxjobqueues = 3
i get following error when i see the "olapsys.xml_load_log" table
***Error Occured: Failed to Build(Refresh) DB_OWNER.MY_ANALYTICAL_WORKSPACE Analytic Workspace. Can not start a job.
Can anybody explain when and why this error occurs? I have wasted a lot of time searching for this issue, but have found no person facing such issue.
Hi Keith, it will be great if you can answer this one.
My database version is 10.2.0.4.0 and AWM version is also 10.2.0.3.0
Kind Regards,
QQ

Oracle OLAP - Version: 10.1 to 11.1
This problem can occur on any platform.
Symptoms
- We have an AW maintenance / refresh script or procedure that contains BuildType="BACKGROUND", so that the AW maintenance task will be sent to the Oracle Job queue.
- When we execute the AW maintenance / refresh script or procedure, we do not get any errors in the foreground, the script/procedure has been executed successfully.
- However when we look into the build/refresh log (see <Note 351688.1> for details) we see that the maintenance/refresh task failed with:
13:29:39 Failed to Submit a Job to Build(Refresh) Analytic Workspace <schema>.<AW Name>.
13:29:39 ***Error Occured in BUILD_DRIVER
- In the generated SQL trace for the session of the user who launches the AW build/refresh script or procedure, we see that ORA-27486 insufficient privileges error occurred at creation of the job.
We see from the relevant bit of the SQL trace that err=27486 occured while executing the #20 statement which is 'begin DBMS_SCHEDULER.CREATE_JOB ...', and the statement is parsed and tried to be executed as user having uid=91:

1176987702325167
ERROR #20:err=27486 tim=465202984
Cause
User who tries to create a job (executes DBMS_SCHEDULER.CREATE_JOB() procedure) does not have the sufficient privileges.
Solution
1. Identify the user under which the job is supposed to be created. This user is not necessarily the same as the user who launched AW build/refresh script or procedure. Get the corresponding username from one of the %_USERS views e.g. from ALL_USERS.
e.g.
SELECT user_id,username FROM all_users WHERE user_id=91;
2. Identify the system privileges currently assigned to the user by connecting as the user whom the privileges need to be determined, and execute:
SELECT * FROM SESSION_PRIVS ORDER BY PRIVILEGE;
3. Ensure that the CREATE JOB privilege is listed.
The CREATE JOB privilege can be granted in various ways to a user:
- via role OLAP_USER or via role OLAP_DBA (see view ROLE_SYS_PRIVS for what privs are assigned to a role):
GRANT OLAP_USER TO <username>;
- explicitly
GRANT CREATE JOB TO <username>; -

Can't start J2EE server :o(
Hi,
I'm getting started with J2EE but I can't start the J2EE server. I have to point out that I read the instructions in J2EE Tutorial 1.3 but I use J2EE SDK 1.4 Beta.. But it should work, shouldn't it??? I don't expect the problem to be very serious but I'm a greener and can't solve it myself :oI
Thanks a lot for every hint and sorry for my not very good English :o)
Dojcland
Here are the "printStackTraces" I get:
(The last line you can see is the last one that appears. Never "C:\" again. If I close the window "Stopping J2EE server" message appears before the window is closed.)
C:\>j2ee -stop

Unable to shutdown the J2EE server.

Can't start WLS7 console after changing configuration
Hi,
Do you have similar situation using WebLogic v7 ?
We can’t start our weblogic server after changing JMS configuration
a bit. Our consultant and I discussed about the solution - one of
them was to re-install weblogic domain. However, this method is not
good for production since all applications will have to be re-installed
again although this WLS is for internal testing.
Using your production mind, what is the better approach while you can't
even start weblogic console after an incomplete configuration.
Consultant's description:
"Our web application needs to configure WebLogic 7.0 JMS service via
wls console. After I did configure a new Connection Factory and a
Destination Keys (actually I should configure a new JMS server and
queue here), the WLS couldn’t reboot so that there is no way to logon
console to modify JMS configuration."
Thanks,
Alex LinIf WLS through the console is creating an unbootable config.xml this is a
bug.
When you start WLS it makes a copy of its bootable configuration by renaming
config.xml to config.xml.booted. If this corruption occurs as you not with
the console, then you have to back up to config.xml.booted and start over.
You should open a case with support describing:
a) the exact version of wls
b) copy of "bad xml"
c) the exact steps you took to cause the problem
To work around the problem I would try following the exact steps listed
here:
http://edocs.bea.com/wls/docs70/ConsoleHelp/jms.html
Cheers

Unable to create Queue Connection factory
Hello All,
I am configuring JMS listner with my enterprise appliaction using Sun application Server 8.2 PE.
Let me tell you my setup first: I have created a connection factory *'TCSQCF'* on appliaction server (sun app ser 8.2) which is directing to Sun MQ 4.1 broker listning on port 7677 using this address list 'mq://10.44.5.14:7677/'
My JNDI configurations through which I can acess and post a mess on queues using my simple application employing following setup. (My simple app contains appserv-admin.jar, appserv-rt.jar, imqjmsra.jar and j2ee.jar files ONLY in lib directory)
props.setProperty(Context.INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY,"com.sun.appserv.naming.S1ASCtxFactory");
props.setProperty(Context.PROVIDER_URL,"iiop://10.44.5.14:3700");
String jmsConnectionFactoryName = "TCSQCF";
Object obj = jmsContext.lookup(jmsConnectionFactoryName);
Now when i copy all these four jar files into my enterprise application *'ext'* directory and uses the same setup as shown above I am having the following error??:(

Please Note that my enterprise 'ext' directory contains 20-30 other jar files and I researched on it that MIGHT BE one of the existing 'jar' file are conflicting with the new 4 jar files i have mentioned. I am unable to find out whats wrong and I do not have nay idea which one is causing this issue and how to resolve it.???
Please reply if you have information regarding this issue and if you need anyother information please let me know.
Thanks.Finally I found the problem which takes me over a week to understand and its SILLY. I am posting here for all of us to never forget this atleast :-)
anyway the above problem as i mentioned earlier is that my newly added JAR files and existing were conflicting somehow.
I just had to add a class path of all of my new four JAR files to force my application to use these jar only not any other
which was missing and my application fails but test application works using ECLIPSE as i did not had anyother files in its 'lib' directory. I edit my script code from BEFORE to After and it all worked. (SILLY SILLY SILLY)
Before _
java -jar ../lib/MyApplication.jar $*
After_
java -cp ../ext/appserv-admin.jar:../ext/appserv-rt.jar:../ext/imqjmsra.jar:../ext/j2ee.jar:../lib/MyApplication.jar $*Hope this helps for people like me :-(
Thanks for your help. Best of luck

when I type "rc.d start mysqld" it displays busy for a while, then fails. At this point it does not generate an error message. I have changed the permissions of /var/lib/mysql recursively to 777. I have also created the mysqld directory in /var/run and given it 777 permissions. I hope I have included all the relevant files.
I have read every suggestion on the internet and gotten nowhere. Please help a noobus out. Thanks in advance.

# 1) Use the CHANGE MASTER TO command (fully described in our manual) -
# the syntax is:
# CHANGE MASTER TO MASTER_HOST=<host>, MASTER_PORT=<port>,
# MASTER_USER=<user>, MASTER_PASSWORD=<password> ;
# where you replace <host>, <user>, <password> by quoted strings and

# CHANGE MASTER TO MASTER_HOST='125.564.12.1', MASTER_PORT=3306,

# overridden by the content of the master.info file, unless you shutdown
# the slave server, delete master.info and restart the slaver server.

interactive-timeoutHi,
I seem to have had an issue with mysql as well and it appears to be that I don't have a sock file as I have checked /var/run/mysqld for mysqld.sock and it does not exist so would that be what is stopping mysql server from starting and if so how do I create the sock file ??
Cheers

Update - Actually I solved my problem to, it was to do with my log files filling up but that also led to the bigger problem of a failing HD oh what fun anyway got there before any major data loss.
