Can't start messaging server - get "Load Environment Failed" in the administration server
The messaging server can't restart, and when I use the
admininstration server to verify setting I get the following message:

The file /etc/netscape.mail.conf is probably corrupted or missing.
Try to regenerate it out of a backup.
We also use a boot.properties in ${domain.home}, which may only be for Admin server, but worth checking anyway. Also, I often receive the boot.properties message you're seeing when there's other problems upstream, and I've found the message to be quite misleading at times. For example, if I have a problem with an LDAPAuthenticator or any other security mechanism I'll often see the boot.properties message eventhough the problem has nothing to do with that file.

I have successfully installed OSR and created WLS Domain using config.cmd. But when I try to start by command line (startManagedWebLogic.cmd osr_server1) I got the error "server is unknown". I have no idea what could be wrong.

Can not start Messaging server in Sun Java System Messaging Server 6 2005Q1
Hi all,
I installed Sun Java System Messaging Server 6 2005Q1 from Solaris 10 DVD on Solaris 10.
After the installation, I got directory server, admin server running but messaging server not running. I can not start Messaging server (start smtp, http, pop, imap). I found in directory which I installed messaging server but I could not see script "start-msg" and "stop-msg".

Any other ideas?Most likely you are suffering from a bug in iWeb that doesn't let you publish websites if an image you have added to your site begins with space. You can either search for that image and remove it.

After input the keyword or the whole content of the message which saved in "Load Earlier Messages", the only result is "No Results". When syncing my phone it says I have contact conflicts which I try to resolve and then I get the message "Unable to retrieve conflict informaiton from the sync server. Please try again next time the conflict resolver window is presented". I have reset the Sync History but hasn't helped. Suggestions?
Here is the solution.
Rationale: You want to be able to have the dates on your items (notes, contacts) on your iphone to be the same as on outlook. This will eliminate any sync conflicts. You will also notice that if you modify something on the iphone and sync, you will lose the modification you made.
Steps:
1) In outlook, export the data (contacts, notes) to a CSV file
2) Delete you notes/contacts in outlook
3) Sync your iphone and select replace information on this iPhone (in iTunes)
4) Now your contacts and notes will be empty on both your iPhone and Outlook
5) Now import your contacts and notes from the CSV files back into outlook. What this does is put the current date and time on every individual item
6) Sync your iPhone to iTunes normally
7) everything will work correctly now with no sync issues and no conflicts.

I need to load an image from the sql server database using java. I have connected to the database and getting all other records except the records for a photo (datatype = LONGVARBINARY) and Remarks (datatype = LONGVARCHAR).
I am using java and sql server db. The photo and remarks are stored in the db. and i need to show the image and the remarks fetching them from there.

Firstly, I recommend to go to Central Administration > Security > Manage the farm administrators group > make sure that your account is listed.

Secondly, did you do the backup or restore operations with PowerShell command or through Central Administration?
Used to be able to do it thru the CA, now I'm running PowerShell and using the scheduled tasks to run it when needed.
If you are using PowerShell, I recommend to run SharePoint Management Shell as administrator.
I'm able to run the backup with the account that is in the Farm Admin group. as I have that setup as the PowerShell account to run under.
If you are using Central Administration, I recommend to run Internet Explorer as administrator.
I still get this error when I run IE as the log in to the server who is in the build in and the SPS Farm Admin Security group:
You are not a local administrator. You must be a member of the Administrators group on the server that is running Central Administration to perform most backup and restore operations. -
The error message I get on my PC is "The ITunes library file cannot be saved" An unknown error occurred (-50)and my music library has disappeared. I recently tried to copy a CD to my library - it appeared to copy ok but then did not appear in my music library. The library does not show up even when my iPad is connected to my PC. That does happen. It depends on how hard the server is being hit, as well as the connection speed of your system. If you are on a windows system, you will want to disable any antivirus or firewall software during the download.
