I'm using ipad2 ios 5.0.1
Flash is not, and probably never will be, supported on the iPad : http://www.apple.com/hotnews/thoughts-on-flash/ . Plus Adobe have never managed to make a version of their flash player that works on iOS devices, and they have recently announced that they are stopping development on all mobile versions of it.
Browser apps such as Skyfire, iSwifter, Puffin and Photon 'work' on some sites, but judging by their reviews not all sites. Also some websites, especially news sites, have their own apps in the App Store, and there is the built-in YouTube app.

Hi: I have been trying for several hours, in fact all day and into the late evening, trying to get Creative Cloud back to its usually helpful self. My older laptop finally gave up on me but it still holds over 2000 of my recent images and I want to get them back unto a working version of LR. .
I am in Florida and my desktop is in my house in Ontario, Canada. So I picked up another Windows 7 ACER laptop. Actually it was a Xmas gift for my wife who had been suffering from Windows Hateitis .She has recovered and almost likes 8 now. So I get to play with the newer laptop until we get back up north in late March.
However the gremlins seem to have got there before me and Creative Cloud's installer just won't do it's job.. It stutters along weakly for a few seconds and then quits without launching a single byte.
I have downloaded the. exe files but Mulder and Skully are no longer around to solve the mystery.
Perhaps one of you can.
Once I get LR on board I can work on getting those 2000 plus raw files from a dead laptop to a hopefully healthy one. At least it is not a hate.

LRNava quick update, I turned off all security software on my windows desktop and tried this 'Restore' process via iTunes again and it appears to be processing....what an unbelievable PITA

Before your Firefox Help question (Why is it that text is transposed over text when viewing certain websites. I'm running win 7 and the latest version of FF.)
If you have increased the minimum font size then try the default setting "none" as a (too) high value can cause issues.
*Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > Minimum Font Size (none)
Make sure that you allow websites to choose their fonts.
*Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > [X] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"

It is better not to increase the minimum font size, but use an extension to set the default page zoom to prevent issues with overlapping text.

Plus 404 and 403If you are referencing a specific web site, there is no way to determine who is set up as administrator. Contact the web site directly.

I can bring up certain websites but can't log-in. I believe this has something to do with Verizon's software. A few of the cites where this occurs are: healthcare.gov; united.com; genetaylorsrentals.com. I have brought up these sites and logged in using my laptop and going through other ISPs (friend's home using Cox Communications connection (Newport News VA) and at George Mason District Public Library (Fairfax County VA). I am located in Annandale, VA. Has anyone else experienced this problem; do you have a solution?

Which Anti Virus are you using? Do you have the issue with multiple browsers?
I experienced login issues with some sites when using Avast AV with the WebRep plugin enabled. I've had to disable the plugin to be able to complete the sign in process. -
Panoramic photos. I have a Sony Cybershot camera. My problem is that I can't view my panoramic photos properly with iPhoto. Sony says to contact Mac support. Has anyone any info on this prob, please?
Not sure what you want - you shoot the photo by doing a sweep and the camera makes a static JPEG that is long (panaromic) and you import it - on the camera and in iPhoto is is a panaromic photo

i am clicking on settings but it is not working. the whole thing is frozen, and i can not do anything with the ipad.

MadihaA reset should help. Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off button at the same time for approximately 10-15 seconds, until the Apple logo reappears. When the logo appears, release both buttons and await restart. No content will be affected.

Because eight years ago, when Apple developed it, Steve Jobs was adamant that iOS NEVER EVER EVER be compatible with Flash. That... will never change.
Apple says to use "SkyFire" as your browser if you must view Flash content (which they do not recommend you do with an iPad). It's free in the App Store. -
My iPad 2 only keeps a set number of emails for me to view eventually deleting from the screen. How do stop this as it syncs with my phone and mac book pro neither of which do this?
Thanks for that. Much more constructive than the last comment. It's only the restriction code I can't recall, not the access passcode. So I can currently access the device, just not age restricted content. Does that's make a difference? I also wondered if anyone knew how many attempts you get to try to get it right. Now tried 21 times and so far nothing bad has happened but I am concerned I'll eventually be completely locked out of the device. That doesn't seem in the spirit of things though. Surely it's foreseeable that a child could repeatedly try to guess the code so I can't see that it would be right to lock the device down completely in that circumstance, particularly if the access code is being typed in correctly every time.

Since you can't delete Apple IDs and having multiple Apple IDs can cause confusion, what you may want to do is rename your existing Apple ID to the new email (desired Apple ID). That would in effect do what you want, get rid of the old and give you the new.

I am using Acrobat XI Pro and tried to install the current update. I got this error message: "Error 1328.Error applying patch to file C:\Config.Msi\pT64b3.tmp It has probably been updated by other means1 and can no longer be modified by this patch. For more information contact your patch vendor." tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still get the error. Searched for C:\Config.Msi\pT64b3.tmp and cannot find the path or the file
For AA XI, you only need the 11.0.09 patch. Download from http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=1&platform=Windows (Use "MAC" if a MAC is used).

As has been pointed out, if there was a "previous owner", the phone is not "new". Thephone you purchased is most likely stolen. If whoever you bought it from won't give you your money back, turn it over to the police. -
Had to buy a new PC as the hard disk of the old one broke and lost all purchases, but still have them on the iPhone. How can I sync them back to the new PC in iTunes without losing them?
You should be able to:
Backup the device to the new installation
Transfer your purchases into a newly authorized library
Recover any other media using third party tools as suggested in this post from forum regular Zevoneer
Restore the device from the backup
This process should switch the association of the device to the new library, preserving the data and settings in your apps.
May also be prudent to attempt a backup to iCloud directly from the device before you start... Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > iCloud Backup > On. It won't save any media but it would preserve the general account settings and documents in case anything goes wrong while you are trying to extract your other data.
When you get it all fixed, make a backup!
