Can Users have their unique Form Settings for the List of Items (Item Search)?
When any user add and remove columns for the List of Items (Item Search) via Form Settings, these changes are automatically updated for all SAP users.
Is there any way we that each user have their own unique List of Items form settings?
This is important as users for different departments will be need to see different information as they are searching for Item Master records.

This is not Possible.
Form Setting of Item Master Data will apply for all Users.
For all Users different Form Settings not Possible but you can guide your users to see while Searching Master Data.

You'll have to have an ID you all share in order to have a shared iCloud account. It would be sensible for each person to have their own ID and their own iCloud account for email and their own data (each would be on their own computer/iOS device or user account on a Mac) and then have a common account which everyone would sign into in System Preferences>Mail, Contacts and Calendars to access shared data.
You don't want to be all using the email in a common account - if people are using email aliases remember these can't be detached from the account and transferred to another one. Having all your emails mixed up together can be somewhat impracticable. -

First of all in SAP sales orgs are assigned to distribution channels and the combination of sales org and distribution channel which is called distribution chain is assigned to plant
There is no direct link between sales org and plant or distribution channel and plant
So sales org and plant combination doesnot exists and
it is only sales org and dist channel combination which is called as distribution chain only exists
Nowhere in SAP we are assigning sales org to plant
It is because sales org alone doesnot make sense and its combination with dist channel only makes sense
because sales org is a selling org and the distribution channel is the route to sell and this combination has only to pick the material from plant to process sales to customers
The relation between sales org and distribution channels is many to many and also vice versa
Multiple sales orgs can be assigned to one distribution channel and
Multiple distribution channels can be assigned to one sales org
Similarly the relation ship between Distribution chain (sales org+dist channel) to plant is also many to many and vice versa
Similarly plants from other company codes can also be assigned to Distribution chain to facilitate intercompany processes
In whatever way look at it the multiple distribution channels can be fit anywhere

We have about 20 reports and 400 users and everyone have their report parameter selection criteria. Is there a way they can default their parameter selection and subscribe?

Answer1: According to your description, there are 20 reports and 400 users, you want to set specific parameter values based on recipients. If that is the case, we can achieve your goal by using Data-driven Subscription.
Reporting Services provides data-driven subscriptions so that you can customize the distribution of a report based on dynamic subscriber data. Data-driven subscriptions use query results to determine the recipients of the subscription, delivery settings,
and report parameter values. At run time, the report server runs a query to get values used for subscription settings. We can use the Create Data-driven Subscription pages to define the query and assign query values to subscription settings. For detail information,

1. Open Report Manager, and locate the report for which you want to create a data-driven subscription.

3. In the drop-down menu, click Manage. This opens the General properties page for the report.
4. Select the Subscriptions tab, and then click New Data-driven Subscription.
5. Select the delivery extension and data source for the subscription.

Answer2: As per my understanding, there may be several parameters in the report, when users preview the report, they need to select values for each parameter. So you want to save some selections as favorite.
In Reporting Services, we could not achieve the goal directly. As a workaround, we can use snapshot. For more details, please refer to the following steps:
1. Open Report Manager, and navigate to the report.
2. Hover over the report, and click the drop-down arrow.
3. In the drop-down menu, click Manage.
4. Click Parameter in the left pane, set default values for the parameters, then click Apply.
5. Click Report History in the left pane, click New Snapshot.
In this way, the parameter selections are saved, when we click the snapshot, the report server retrieves the stored report from the report server database, and shows the data, parameter selections and layout at the time when the snapshot was created.

Users have more than one profile for the same role

As I said in my earlier post I'm rather new to SAP.
I'm doing now the security audit of my SAP system. In particular, I'm checking whether business users have access to DEBUG functionality.
I have run report 'Users by complex selection criteria' and found certain number of such users. Then I looked further and discover that all these users have role X assigned to them. The profile P2 of the role X displayed in PFCG has DEBUG functionality deactivated. After second look I discovered that all these users have earlier profile P1 for the same role X assigned to these users. This profile P1 contains the functionality in question.
I solved the issue by revoking the role X from the users and assigning it again. Both P1 and P2 profiles were removed from the users and only P2 was reassigned again.
I used to think that role may have only the profile that is displayed in PFCG? Also, I used to think that if the role profie is regenerated the newly generated profile automatically replace the old one assigned to users. Am I wrong?Hi Pavel
In simple and short ..
Role contains authorization objects..
Maximum limit of authorization objects for a role is 150 .
So a role can accommodate 150 authorization objects.
New Profile ABC is created , when ever you create a new role. 1-1 relation.
But if a role has more than 150 authorization objects .. then automatically a new profile ABC01 will be created and it will also be aligned to that role .
if role has 400 auth objects, then profiles will be ABC ,ABC01 ,and ABC02

I don't know in Chrome, but in Safari (pc or mac) you can open icloud.com twice on two different tab or windows and open one with contact and the other in Mail without messing up. What kind of mess to do you experience?
There is no other options to do what you want to do. You need to click on the little top cloud to switch from one to another.
Beside, I don't understand why even 2 open tab would help more than having to switch via the cloud icon. I may need to cut/paste some info from contact or calendar from time to time, but switch via the cloud icon is not really painfull. -

'My Menu' refers to the third tab on the Main Menu, and the
authorization of 'Organize My Menu' works as below:
- Full Authorization: Allows the user to access the Organize User Menu
window (Tools -> User Menu -> Organize) and customize the menu.
- No Authorization: The user cannot open this window.

Can I have Automatic e-mail settings for all my AWR and ADDM reports so I don;t have to run the reports all the time but they can be sent over to my mailbox and I can review them, if at all I can do that then can I bound them to a particular time frame where I can recieve only those reports durin the peak usage of my database.

1 - Use a cron (or preferably dbms_scheduler) to schedule the awrrpt.sql execution, directing the report to a fixed file location (e.g. /tmp).
2 - As step 2 from the scheduled task, direct the report as input to sendmail:

Bob PyeYou can set the form title (the text that appears in the Browser tab/Window) in the Form Setup dialog. With the form in question open in FormsCentral for editing, click on the Form Setup button in the toolbar. In the resulting dialog set the Form Title to the text you want.

Is it possible to check if a generated document can have a unique bar code for tracking?......We r using the Adobe Central Output Server 5.5 version on windows xp........
I know of nothing built into the software that is specifically for the purpose of generating a unique value.
External of the server there are a couple things that might work.
1) The source of the data file could create a field in the file that contains a unique value that would be the value for the bar code field. For example, the source program could access a database (Access, SQL, whatever) and grab a numeric field for the value while incrementing the field for the next time. If it isn't practical for the source program to do this, then a "custom agent" could be written that would run prior to printing the form that would do this database access and add the field to the data file before passing it on to the print agent.
2) You could reference the built-in date & time variables (see the Print Agent manual for $date & $time) to use as the value for the variable to be the value for the bar code field. Depending on how long your print job takes to process you could use the time variable that includes the hundredths of a second or not. For example, having the following in the data file:
b ^field UniqueBarcode
b @$date1.@$time3.
would result in a value of
b 05021506511429
for the year (05), month (02), day (15), hour (06), minute (51), second (14), and hundredths (29) of the date & time I typed this in. If you wanted the millenium & century you could just hard-code it by placing "20" in front of the @$date1. reference. Of course, depending on the particular bar code you use, a 14 or 16 digit bar code could be too long for what you want.
One caution with this method, though. If your Central server is set up for processing multiple instances of Central, it would be possible to get duplicates since two (or more) jobs, running in different instances, could start at the same time. -

Decide on whether to setup as Admin or Standard User.
Switch to the New User by logging out under the Apple in the Menu Bar or use Fast User Switching
Fast User Switching allows other users to leave current applications and windows open. Depending on RAM, you might need to log out rather than use FUS.
