Can we Generate a WSDL out of ESB Project.

Hi,
I am trying to generate a WSDL service out of a ESB project and import into other ESB project. Is it possible in ESB? If so can any any one please help me.
Let me explain the general use case.
For example I create a ESB project which has two routing services A, B and a Database adapter(C) with calls a stored procedure.
Using the routing service A I will supply the input parameters to Database Adapter C, which fetches the values from the database tables, now I will capture those output parameters and route them the routing service B.
I want to generate the WSDL for the above project and reuse this WSDL in other projects.
By just passing the input parameters to that WSDL I can poll the values from the database and capture them.
Any pointers on this is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Rao.

Hi Rao,
Maybe I misunderstand.
In your original post you state: using the routing service A I will supply the input parameters to Database Adapter C, which fetches the values from the database tables, now I will capture those output parameters and route them the routing service B.
You can model this in ESB and expose this ESB System, that comprises multiple services, with a single WSDL.
Check out this presentation: http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/integration/esb/pdf/esb-foundation-for-soa-presentation.pdf.
I believe your use case matches the response-forwarding pattern which is outlined on page 22.

  • Generating the wsdl with inline schema for the bpel process

    Hi
    When a BPEL process is deployed, we can get the WSDL of the same by logging into the BPEL console, but the WSDL contains the reference to the schema using the namespace. Can we generate the wsdl with the inline schema.
    Suggestions are highly appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    If the wsdl is referring to a Schema file you won't be able to see the schema definition in the WSDL file itself,for that you have to refer to the deployed jar which contains the XML schema.The default path for the deployed jar is <Oracle_SOA_Installed_Home>/bpel/domains/<domain_name>/tmp/<bpelprocess.jar>
    Otherwise if you have the source project you can always refer to it in JDev.

  • Add WSDL to Visual Studio Project  - Please help !

    Hi,
    In this address there is explained how to add wsdl class to our project (sheet 7)
    https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/c0123164-9b30-2b10-a086-b8a7f973b3e1
    However, after "Add New Item" = SAP Connector Proxy,  Visual Studio is not asked me a question to select the u201CWSDL file from SAP IFRu201D. It operates this phase automatically. How can I do this manually?
    Briefly, how can I add my wsdl to visual studio project?
    Thanks,

  • AS can't generate WSDL

    Hi,
    I have the following problem. I have Oracle AS 10.1.3.3 installed and I am trying to generate the WSDL from WSDD file, which is a part of an application deployed on the server. The server was able to generate WSDL for a Hello World WebService, but if I try to use for example my own exceptions extended from Exception, I got the following message:
    AXIS error
    Sorry, something seems to have gone wrong... here are the details:
    Fault - ; nested exception is:
         java.lang.ClassCastException: com.ibm.wsdl.extensions.soap.SOAPFaultImpl
    AxisFault
    faultCode: {http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/}Server.userException

    faultActor:
    faultNode:
    faultDetail:
         {http://xml.apache.org/axis/}hostname:marvin.ba.dynatech.sk
    I am little bit confused, because my previous 10gR2 AS generated WSDL from the same WSDD without any problems.
    Can anybody help me?
    Thanx

    Jose, you say you can't find much about Flex calling remote
    objects. Really? There are many, many such resources.
    But maybe you mean that refer to this badversion error. Doing
    a little digging, I see references to issues related to SSL/HTTPS.
    Is that a part of what you're doing? Check out these.
    http://www.adobeforums.com/webx/.59b4dc44
    http://www.nabble.com/SSL-Https-communication-between-swf-and-data-service---life-cycle-is -failed-td18922452.html
    Here also is an entry where someone writes about calling a
    CFC from Flex, and in a comment he mentions the badversion error.
    Though he never mentions resolving it specifically, he seems to
    have gotten things working, so maybe among the few things discussed
    is a solution for you.
    http://www.flashcomguru.com/index.cfm/2006/11/11/flex2remoting
    I also see one that suggests that the badversion error is
    just a generic error reflecting another problem in the connection.
    While it discusses AMFPHP, which is an open alternative to the
    FlashRemoting built into CF, it may still offer insight:
    http://www.5etdemi.com/blog/archives/2005/06/i-did-it-i-killed-netconnectioncallbadversion
    If none of them are it, since it seems maybe you're having
    difficulty calling ANY CFC component from AIR/Flex, check out any
    of these examples to see if you can get them to run:
    http://livedocs.adobe.com/flex/3/html/help.html?content=data_access_4.html
    http://tutorial519.easycfm.com/
    http://www.cftips.net/post.cfm/flex-data-grid-with-coldfusion-flash-remoting-using-cfc
    Just be careful as you're looking at resources for Flex
    examples: some are for 1.5, some for 2, some for 3.
    Hope that helps.

  • How can I generate tones with usb 6008 using analog out?... tia sal2

    Greetings All
    I've been looking at the example Sim Phone.vi that comes with labview and would like to generate similar tones out of our usb 6008 device. I can get a very faint sound out of our usb 6008 using the example Gen Multi Volt Updates-SW Timed.vi Does anyone know the best way to alter Sim Phone.vi to have the sound come out of the Analog output of our usb 6008 device. ( I have a small speaker connected to the Analog out on our USB 6008)
    PS: we are using labview 7.1
    Does anyone know the Analog output frequency range of the usb-6008? Is this possible?
    TIA
    Attachments:
    Gen Mult Volt Updates-SW Timed.vi ‏78 KB

    Hi sal2,
    As stated earlier you could most certainly use the USB device to generate sound, but that would be at a max update rate of 150 Hz. While according to Nyquist theorem you could get frequency information for signals below 75 Hz, you may notice that the quality of the data in that spectrum to be very low due to having so few samples.
    While technically possible to produce you really should look for a device with a faster Analog Output update rate. I would look for a device that supports Analog Output at least 10x the maximum frequency that you want the user to hear. Some great, yet lower cost products, would be the M-Series line of products. They would give you the performance that is really needed in the type of application that you are talking about.
    If you still want to use the USB Device, then you would need to use code similar to that found in the example Gen Mult Volt Updates-SW Timed (Found here: C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 7.1\examples\daqmxbase\Dynamic\ao).
    Best of luck getting your system together,

  • Can we generate the output of SQL Query in XML format ..

    Hi Team,
    Can we generate an XML doc for an SQL Query.
    I've seen in SQL Server 2000.It is generating the output of an SQL Query in xml format.
    select * from emp for xml auto
    The output looks like
    <emp EMPNO="7369" ENAME="SMITH" JOB="CLERK" MGR="7902" HIREDATE="1980-12-17T00:00:00" SAL="2800" DEPTNO="20"/><emp EMPNO="7370" ENAME="SMITH" JOB="CLERK" MGR="7902" HIREDATE="1980-12-17T00:00:00" SAL="2800" DEPTNO="10"/>

    Just a little bit of short hand.
    Get the XML out of your database, via HTTP
    Of course the easiest method is just to return an XMLType from a stored procedure and let the calling routine figure out what to do with it. Instead
    of that way though, I'll show you how to do it via HTTP. It's all completely built into 10g and is super easy to use.
    CREATE OR REPLACE VIEW emps_and_depts AS
    SELECT e.employee_id AS "EmployeeId",
    e.last_name AS "Name",
    e.job_id AS "Job",
    e.manager_id AS "Manager",
    e.hire_date AS "HireDate",
    e.salary AS "Salary",
    e.commission_pct AS "Commission",
    XMLFOREST (
    d.department_id AS "DeptNo",
    d.department_name AS "DeptName",
    d.location_id AS "Location"
    ) AS "Dept"
    FROM employees e, departments d
    WHERE e.department_id = d.department_id
    Some people hear web and immediately start salivating about security issues. Let me address that quickly. Just because you have the HTTP and/or
    FTP servers running in the database, that does not mean you have a security problem. For one, I would hope your databases are behind a firewall.
    Second, with the correct architecture (DMZ, app servers, etc) you can make this data available outside the firewall fairly transparently and third,
    just because it's on the web does not mean the data MUST be available on the internet. This is a good way to make your data available on your
    intranet. If you are worried about people INSIDE your firewall, that still doesn't preclude web based access. Follow Oracle security guidelines.
    Before I show you how to get to your data, let's talk about URLs and URIs. A URL is a Uniform Resource Locater and URI is a Uniform Resource
    Identifier. A URL is the way you would identify a document on the net, i.e. http://www.oracle.com is a URL. A URI is a more generic form of a URL.
    Oracle supports three types of URI: HTTPURIType - basically a URL (which would be like the URL above), XDURIType - a pointer to an XDB resource
    (usually an XML document but can be other objects), and DBURIType - a pointer to database objects.
    It's the DBURIType that we're going to concentrate on here. The DBURIType let's us reference database objects using a file/folder paradigm. The
    format for a DBURI is /oradb/<schema>/<table>. Oradb is shorthand for the database; it is not the database name or SID. My database is named XE
    but I still use oradb in the DBURI. For example, the view we created above is in my XE database, is owned by HR (at least in my case) and is called
    EMPS_AND_DEPTS. This can be referenced as /oradb/HR/EMPS_AND_DEPTS.
    If the view had many rows and you wanted only one of them, you can restrict it by including a predicate. The documentation for XDB has a great
    write up on Using DBURIs.In our case, we are going to write out the entire document. Now that you understand that the DBURI is a pointer to
    objects in our instance, we can use that to access the data as a URL.
    The format for the URL call is http://<machinename>:<port>/<DBURI>
    In my case, my XE database is running on a machine called mach1 and is listening on port 8080. So to see the view we created above, I open my
    browser and navigate to: http//mach1:8080/oradb/HR/EMPS_AND_DEPTS
    The created URL will be as http//mach1:8080/oradb/PUBLIC/EMPS_AND_DEPTS
    If your database is set up correctly and listening on port 8080 (the default), your browser should ask you to login. Login as the user who created the
    view (in my case HR). You should now get an XML document displayed in your browser.
    And that's it. It doesn't get much simpler than that. If you get rid of the descriptive text above, it basically comes down to:
    Create a table or view
    Open your web browser
    Enter a URL
    Enter a user ID and password
    View your XML
    If you notice, Oracle formatted the data as XML for us. Our view returns scalar columns and an XML fragment called Dept. Oracle formatted the
    return results into an XML format.
    And as a side note, if you look closely, you'll see that my URL has PUBLIC where I said to put HR. PUBLIC is a synonym for all objects that your
    logged in user can see. That way, if your user has been granted select access on many schemas, you can use PUBLIC and see any of them.

  • How I can automatically generate purchase orders in SRM?

    Hi Gurus,
    When I create a Shopping Cart (SC), in "Source of Supply" tab I can select a contract as source of supply.
    How I can automatically generate a purchase order (PO) with contract data (vendor, price, etc.)?  So that the operational purchaser does not have to enter the system to generate the PO.
    In ERP (ECC 6.0) exists ME59N transaction, is there something similar in SRM?
    The system is:
    Component software: SRM_SERVER
    Release: 700
    Level: 0008
    Support package: SAPKIBKV08
    Thanks in advance and best regards,
    Alonso Valenzuela

    Hi,
    Like ME59, there is no option available to create a PO automatically in SRM. If you want you can achieve this in 3 ways.
    1. Creating SC Via CATALOGS ( In this case after approval PO will be created directly and most of the cases PO will be transferred to ECC i.e in SRM that will be in ordered status.
    2. You can select the sourcing relevant indication as 'Never Carried out' (Here if you created a SC without source of supply then all such SC's will be converted into Save status PO's.
    3. Do the modification in DOC_CHECK_BADI to force all SC converting to PO.
    However in Case 2 & 3, still buyer's team manual intervention will be more, then need to update the PO with source of supply.
    Regards,
    Govardhan.

    Version 11.3 I actually figured it out, its rather odd that the generate addresses button doesn't do this automatically. It appears that the mask was set to trigger use of the cache on a single bit.  0x00800000.  I had enough devices added where automatic address generation was using the most significant bit meaning that bit was falling within other address spaces. I changed it to 0xFFFFC000.  (Basically telling it to match addresses if all address signals above 16KB are zero).  I don't know if that is the proper way to do it, but it accepted it.  Now I'm fighting with some stuff regarding an FSL bus I added that apparently isn't quite properly setup, so I haven't found out yet if the processor likes that address mask.   But the tools appear to like it.

  • I can't pull a value out of a list from CFDIRECTORY.

    I've avoided insanity all these years, but this issue finally has me on the brink.  My institutionalization is in your hands.
    I'm trying to get the name of a specific directory from the list of directories generated by CFDIRECTORY action="list".  But everything I try, fails in one way or another.  Bascially, I can't pull the value out of the structure -- even though the code DOES FIND the value -- because it thinks the value is supposed to be a field or key.  (The server is running CF8.)
    These lines of code work fine:
    <!--- Make and loop through List of local directories. --->
    <CFSET LocalDirectoryList = "">
    <CFDIRECTORY action="list" name="LocalDirectoryList" TYPE="dir" directory="#PathOfLocalFolderToCopyToRemoteFolders#">
    <CFIF IsDefined("LocalDirectoryList.RecordCount") AND LocalDirectoryList.RecordCount GT "0">
    <CFLOOP query="LocalDirectoryList">
    Now comes the killer.  I want to define a variable whose value is the name of the current local directory -- that is, the value of LocalDirectoryList.Name for each loop of the loop.  But if I try to Access LocalDirectoryList.Name as a simple string variable, the way I usually can for a query string variable --
    <CFSET ThisLocalDirectory = LocalDirectoryList.Name>
    -- I get a message, "You have attempted to dereference a scalar variable of type class java.lang.String as a structure with members."
    On the other hand, if I treat "LocalDirectoryList.Name" as a structure, and try to destructure it with any of the following --
    1) <CFSET ThisLocalDirectory = Evaluate(LocalDirectoryList.Name)>
    2) <CFSET ThisLocalDirectory = "#Evaluate(LocalDirectoryList.Name)#">
    3) <CFSET ThisLocalDirectory = "#StructFind(LocalDirectoryList, Name)#">
    4) <CFSET ThisLocalDirectory = StructFind(LocalDirectoryList, Name)>
    5) <CFSET ThisLocalDirectory = "#Evaluate(StructFind(LocalDirectoryList, Name))#">
    I get either "Variable backgrounds is undefined" (for 1 or 2) or  "The specified key, backgrounds, does not exist in the structure" (for 3, 4 or 5) .
    As it happens, the name of that directory is "backgrounds".  So the value I'm looking for DOES EXIST in the structure "LocalDirectoryList".  And the code IS FINDING IT.  But it thinks its the NAME of a key, instead of the VALUE of the key.
    Note:  Adding the attribute, listInfo="Name", to the CFDIRECTORY tag restricts the returned fields, or keys, to "Name", but LocalDirectoryList.Name is still a structure, and I still get the same results.
    Will I be the next cuckoo in the cuckoo's nest?  Or can you save me, and keep me sane?  My fate is in your hands.
    Thank you!

    But it thinks its the NAME of a key, instead of the VALUE of the key.
    Because that what the code is instructing CF to do ;-)
    <CFSET ThisLocalDirectory = StructFind(LocalDirectoryList, Name)>
    If you want to search for the literal string "Name" it must be enclosed in quotes.  Otherwise you are instructing CF to treat it as a variable and to pass its value (ie "backgrounds") into structFind().  The same thing with evaluate().
    <CFIF IsDefined("LocalDirectoryList.RecordCount") AND LocalDirectoryList.RecordCount GT "0">
    However as Michael pointed out, there is rarely a need for evaluate, and under normal circumstances no need for that IsDefined either. The query should always exist and the loop will only execute if the query contains one or more records.  So the code could be reduced to this.
    <CFDIRECTORY action="list"
                    name="LocalDirectoryList"
                    type="dir"
                    directory="#PathOfLocalFolderToCopyToRemoteFolders#">
    <CFLOOP query="LocalDirectoryList">
             <CFSET ThisLocalDirectory = LocalDirectoryList.Name>
    </CFLOOP>
    Note, there is technically no need to assign #LocalDirectoryList.Name# to another variable either.  It can be used directly.
