Can we hide the lines between the columns and rows of an alv in wd abap

HI all ,
I know that we can colour cell/column/row in an alv in wd abap.
   but, can we hide the lines between the columns and rows of an alv in wd abap.

     but didn't understand, can please anybody provide some example or any material..? it will be very helpful.

Code some like this in the WDDOINIT method of your view which defines the ALV component as used component.
instansiate the ALV component
data lo_cmp_usage type ref to if_wd_component_usage.
lo_cmp_usage = wd_this->wd_cpuse_usage_alv().
if lo_cmp_usage->has_active_component() is initial.
lo_cmp_usage->create_component().
endif.
data lo_interfacecontroller type ref to iwci_salv_wd_table.
lo_interfacecontroller = wd_this->wd_cpifc_usage_alv().
data lo_value type ref to cl_salv_wd_config_table.
lo_value = lo_interfacecontroller->get_model().
hide the grid lines
lo_value->if_salv_wd_table_settings~SET_GRID_MODE( value = '01' ).

I want to draw a curve many times, from first point to the end point. and redraw from first point to the end point.But I hope update point by point. but between the end point and the first point, there is a line. How to delete the line?

Hi Kumar,
I think you can just delete it in the sales order directly, if you are using make-to-order scenario, then there will be special stock left for the sales order as the production has been goods receipt, you need to use MM transaction move the stock to unrestricted use stock. If you are using make-to-stock scenario, there should be no further problem. If you are using assembly order, please try to reject the sales order item to see if it could fullfill your requirement.

1. For all practical purposes, they are the same.
2. Some differences:
a) from abap coding point of view,
alv list is done with Function modules,
alv gris can also be done with FM,
but can also be done using OO concepts.
b) Alv grid (using oo concept) requires
designing the screen layout .
Hence, in one screen, we can show more
then one alv grid
(we cannot show more than
one alv list on one screen)
c) ALV grid uses ActiveX controls
present on the Presentation Server.
Hence, it consumes More Memory
on the presentation server.
d) ALV LIST is Display Only.
Whereas
ALV Grid Can Be made EDITABLE for entry purpose.
e) In alv grid, these options are possible,
but not in alv list.

Is there a way to trace a line between point A and B in a PowerMap

Hi there,
I have a simple question about PowerMap. Can I trace a line between points A and B? Please bear in mind that a workaround to create hundreds/thousands of points to simulate a line would NOT work for me (like this tutorial
here -- this is a no-no for me).
Any ideas if this is possible? If not, then consider it a feature request :-)

Sorry but I think you are missing the point here.
You added several yellow points to make this line. This isn't a line but a bunch of dots. I mentioned in my original question that unfortunately this is an unacceptable kludge for me.
Consider this. you only have 3 to 5 of those dots, from Athens to Melbourne -- and I want a line between each one of those 3 to 5 dots, connecting them. NOT several dots that looks like a line -- that is cheating (and contra-productive in a real-life scenario)

How can i remove the line between columns?

I'm laying out poetry and I only want one column--even in landscape mode. But in landscape mode there's still the line between columns that cuts through my text. I've tried dragging the line, clicking on it and deleting it. When I click on it two Xes appear on the top and bottom, but they don't appear to do anything.

I did a little more reading of threads and now I understand the approach.
Go to View/Layouts and click on any of the layouts which appear on the left. At that point you will have access to the full page template and may make any and all changes you wish.
Keep in mind that some elements will be locked requiring an Arrange/Unlock command before you can eliminat them.
In the end it will be very easy to create completely customized layouts, including background images, rules, etc. etc.

In the Folders Tab, right click on folder then click Reveal in Explorer. This will open an Explorer window with the folder selected. In Explorer you can right click > Properties or navigate to whatever you want to measure.

Getting a extra space between the line in the PDF output

I an having the rtf templete contains a table . That table contains 3 row and for the second row i have a for loop start at 1st column and end's at last column . first and 3rd row are the simple data donot have any for loop .
So in the PDF out put of the templete gives me extra blank line between the data for the 2nd row.
Example
1st row ------ Contains data field
2nd row For Each grouph data fields End for
3rd row --------- Contains data field
On the PDF output the data which is in the for loop ( 2nd row ) takes one more extra line ( space ) between the record .

TB 31.4 when compsing a message, has introduced a spurious blank line between the address boxes and subject box.

When writing a new message I used to see two lines of address boxes followed by the subject line. So, when sending an email to a single recipient, that persons address would remain on screen as I composed the email.
As of version 31.4 the initial "Write" window shows a single address line, the subject line, and a blank line between them. The consequence is that, upon entering the recipient's address, it immediately scrolls up and can no longer be seen. This happens regardless of how I enter the address i.e. start to type, select from address book and hit ENTER or TAB, or indeed if I choose an address from the address book sidebar. (See "capture1.png")
If I increase the space available for the header data in the "Write" window I still get a blank line between the address lines and the subject line (see "capture2.png"). Furthermore, the next time I go to compose an email I am back with the original version of the "Write" window, as shown in "capture1.png".

You might want to drop the author an email and let him know. It is not a major thing, but something that would probably require only a minor fix.
I have found him helpful, but slow to reply. He is always on holidays when I email him.

Did you check the code with the default theme if you currently use a custom theme?

Hello everyone!
I would like to open up some space in my bookmarks toolbar (also on the navigation toolbar if I can) by reducing the spacing between the icons. Is there any way to do this without the need of some third party program? If not, which one should I download?
Curious thing is that a few days ago I did not have this problem at all, all my bookmarks were visible in the toolbar regularly, neat and tight. Now there is that boring guillemet sitting there at the corner...
