Can we refer C# dll in a plug-in application

Hi,
I want to refer a C# dll (for some User interface purpose) in a plug-in application.
For that i applied all the necessary settings to the project(like /clr option) and it was complied fine and added plug-in menuitem to acrobat window
Then i added the referrence to the C# class library and in plug-in dialog creation code i tried to get an instance of that class object(using gcnew)
but it is failing there to get the instance of that class saying file not found error.
Is there any way to add C# dll reference and to get object in a plug-in application, and how to do it.
Can anybody help me on this?
Thank you,

C# DLL is loadable from plugin only it is placed on a same folder with acrobat.exe.
To avoid this problem,
1) Install DLL as GAC.
2) Catch AppDomain.AssemblyResolve event from the plugin, and return Assembly object that is manually loaded using Assembly.LoadFrom().

  • Can I use NIDAQ32.dll with more than one application?

We have some third party hardware and software which uses a PCI-6602 board and NIDAQ. I wanted to use some of the functions of the board for something else in a VB 6.0 program, but I always got errors with NIDAQ32.dll not being found if the third party software was running. It worked fine if I closed their software. I talked to NI, and they said you could not access a board with two applications at once. Fine, so I bought a PCI-6601 to put in the system to do my other functions. However, I still get the same error, saying the NIDAQ32.dll can not be found when I try to run my VB program. Anybody have a solution? I really need this to work, or this board is pretty useless to me...
    -Matt

    Matt,
You CAN access a board with two applications at once. However, you can not access the same resource on a board with two applications at once. Analog input, analog output, and digital I/O are each their own separate resources. Each individual counter is a separate resource. Since your application works fine with the third-party software closed it sounds like your third-party software is doing something to the NIDAQ32.dll. I recommend contacting the developers of the third-party software and finding out what they are doing with the NIDAQ32.dll and if they even intended other applications to access the DLL at the same time.

  • Issue with NI-CAN 2.7.5 DLL(s) install for custom applications

We have custom applications built on top of NI-CAN for Windows using the MS Visual C lib and header. In the past, to run our applications, we simply installed the latest NI-CAN package. Our applications would run, find and access any runtime DLLs, and be fine.
With NI-CAN 2.7.5 though, we are seeing errors in our applications that suggest they cannot see the required DLL necessary to operate. The error is:
"A dynamic link library (DLL) initialization routine failed."
Did anything change in 2.7.5 with regards to the placement or installation DLLs required to run custom NI-CAN applications?

I was able to get a little more information. Using Visual Studio to get a debug log, I see the following. With 2.7.4, the NI-CAN DLLs load and it work fine:
    'MATLAB.exe': Loaded 'E:\jobarchive\Btm1\2014_02_21_h12m30s17_job89749_pass\matlab\toolbox\vnt\vnt\mexNICAN.mexw32', Symbols loaded.

On 2.7.5 though, additional error information shows up:

    'MATLAB.exe': Unloaded 'C:\Windows\System32\nipal32.dll'
    'MATLAB.exe': Unloaded 'C:\Windows\System32\nipalut.dll'
You can see it tries to load under 2.7.5, get a bunch of PDB file issues and then immediately unloads.
Inspecting the DLLs under 2.7.4 vs 2.7.5, they look identical except for the nicanDBA.dll. That's the only one that has a version difference between NI-CAN versions. In both 2.7.4 and 2.7.5, all DLLs are being properly installed to \windows\system32 as expected so both sets are fully accessible path-wise.
    Please advise.

  • Access 2013: can't find language dll msain.dll when double-clicking acce-file in explorer

    Hi,
When I want to open an acce-file by double-clicking it in Windows explorer it get the error:
    'Can't find Language DLL msain.dll'
The strange thing (IMO) is that when I open the accde-file from within Access, it opens fine. Also clicking on the accde-file in the 'recent'-part of the pinned to the taskbar Access-icon, opens the file just fine.
    (Office 2013 - 32 bit on Windows 7 - 64 bit)
Anyone know a solution for this behaviour?

    Hi,
To the error massage, copy msain.dll from another computer and place inside the %installdir%/1033 folder.
If it's not work, I recommend you repair Access.

  • Can I use the PLEK500 Powerline Home Plug AV2 to cascade two EA6700 routers, plus?

Can I use the PLEK500 Powerline Home Plug AV2 to cascade two EA6700 routers?  In otherwords, can I connect my “main router” to a PLEK500 on the third floor . . . then plug in another PLEK500 in the basement (same power lines) and use the Ethernet socket on the PLEK500 to plug into the second EA6700 in a LAN to LAN cascade?  And, if so, can I also use that second EA6700 to run an Ethernet cable to an access point at one end of the house and a different Ethernet cable underground to an out building where I can connect a third EA6700? Finally, from there to a second out building by connecting an Ethernet cable from the third router, underground again, to a 4th EA6700 in the second out building?  All connected LAN to LAN to the main router?  My problem in a nutshell: the main router is on the third floor with no way to run Ethernet cable to the rest of the house.  If I can make the first cascade via the PLEK500 to the basement router, I have access to run an Ethernet cable, via underground pipe, from the basement to the first out building and from that building to the second out building.  I need wireless access to the lower floors of the main house as well as the two out buildings.

Yes, that is theoretically possible. You just need to make sure that you are using the same circuit for those two power lines to work. • In Oracle 11g query, how can I refer to results of different column ....

I want to be able to refer to the results of C1 in another column expression C2. I get ORA-00904: "C1" invalid identifier, which makes sense. I know that I can repeat the entire very long CASE again in my C2 DECODE, but wondering if I can save the server many extra cycles from evaluating the CASE again.
SELECT [very long nested CASE statements] as C1, DECODE(C1,1,'YES','NO') as C2 FROM TABLE
    Many thanks,
    AK

    Hello
You can't refer to the alias at the same level so you either have to repeat the CASE statement or wrap it in an inline view and refer to the alias in that. i.e.
    SELECT
        c1,
        DECODE(C1,1,'YES','NO') as C2
    FROM
            SELECT
[very long nested CASE statements] as C1
            FROM
                FROM TABLE

  • Anyone know where can download some dissertation adout adobe bridge plug-in?

anyone know where can download some dissertations about adobe bridge plug-in?I`m vexationing and afflictioning ...........

So yes from what I gathered on the phone support call, the update would download and fail during the install.  The support person did a remote desktop session where they dug through tmp folders checking various log files, etc.  They downloaded and tried installing some other type of patch.  No go. After an hour or so they threw up their hands.  I did a search for that to see if they followed up with a case # for the call, and I couldn't find it.  Either they didn't send me one or I accidentally deleted it (but it's not in my trash/archive so doubt that).
Prior to the support call, I did a chat session, which was dropped because a link loaded into the session, ending it.  That was after I had been troubleshooting with them for about an hour.  Frustrating.  So I opted to call in instead of chat, see above.  The case # on that chat is #0185619250. I didn't follow up on it since I went the call route.  Here's another case I found on my acct, dealing w/ this matter.

I went I to my phone and I tried to unlock my passcode but it did not let me in, how can I reset my lock passcode without plugging it onto the computer on iTunes, or restoring it or deleting any data ?

You don't. The only way to remove the passcode if forgotten is to restore the device. • Can I create multiple instances of  realplayer plug-in in one jsp page?

I want to play meny video files in one jsp web page, these video files are to be played with the embeded plug-in of realplayer, each plug-in was linked(use its SRC property) a different video file. But, to my surprise, when I press the play button, every player played the same video file, not its specified file.
I have no idea why it did so and what can I do?
Whether can I create multiple instances of realplayer plug-in in one jsp page, that is to say, each instance is independent of others?
    thanks in advance!

Generally speaking, Internet Explorer tries not to launch multiple versions of a plug-in. So what's happening is that you load the first video clip, and then before it has a chance to play, you load the second video clip into the same window. (It's like changing songs in WMA.)
In some cases - this may not work for Real Player, but it's worth trying - if you spawn a new window through a hypertext link and then launch the plug-in in that window, IE will treat it separately. Otherwise, you could not, for example, run two Macromedia Flash applications from different web sites at the same time.
Keep in mind that only one program can access the soundcard at a time, so Real Player may purposely "pause" or "cancel" other video streams until the active one finishes. If you were using the desktop version, selecting another video by any means aborts the currently running video (i.e., RP won't let you create a separate instance of it).
The easiest solution is to create a wrapper JSP file that takes the name of the video clip, and plays it. Call that JSP and specify that it should be opened in a new window via the TARGET keyword in the anchor tag. Then hopefully RP itself won't block a second window from running.

  • Can I use a dll created in Visual Basic 2010?

I am reading up on the new extention system for air 3.0.
I have successfully (I think) managed to integrate the Air 3.0 prerelease into Flash CS5.5 (I don't use flex or flash builder)
So now I am trying to read up and learn how to use extentions.
Now, I don't know C/C++. My experience with it has been very limited over the years. But I know visual basic pretty well as I have been using that since VB4. (back in the programming stone age, heh)
Right now, I have Visual Studio 2010 and Flash CS5.5.
I am developing for the iPhone and iPad and up until now I have created a working iOS application that works pretty well.
Can I create a dll in visual basic (A class library) and then use the extention system to load that into my application to run on the iOS mobile device?

I thought I'd seen this question asked somewhere before, but I can't find the thread. In theory there should be no problem. However, you'll need to have both the LabVIEW 5.1 and LabVIEW 8.6 run-time engines installed, and I don't know if there are any operating systems on which both of those versions are supported. If the run-time engine is properly installed, then calling a LabVIEW-built DLL is just like calling any other DLL. There might be some special optimization if the calling application and DLL both use the same version of the run-time engine.

  • Can LabVIEW call a DLL built with VS(2005) C++ with /CLR and Without an Entry Point

My project requires me to convert a C++ program to a DLL and having it called by LabVIEW. Due to the complexity of this C++ program (converted from fortran using f2c -C++ option), it cannot be compiled without using /clr option.  I did build the application standalone (/clr), and it functioned fine.  When I build it into DLL using VS2005, I was forced to use No Entry point option and without using DllMain in the C++ code. Eventually the DLL was built without error.  But after I call it from LabVIEW, I was not getting calculated results as expected.  I added a testing function to the C++ code of the DLL and just try to modify a parameter, it will not, but only return the input numbers.  I was passing data by pointer and not by value, so I expect this parameter output be modified.  I suspect that the DLL didnt get executed at all as it has no entry point specified.
Am I on the right track to approach this task, or I am heading to totally wrong direction here?   I believe due to the fact that my C++ was from f2c and use vsf2c.lib and so on, the code is managed code, so that a regular DLL cannot be built from it with an entry point. How can LabVIEW call such a DLL? Am I right on that?  I really need your advice here for a right approach to this problem and possible implementation "watch outs"...Thanks!
    Bryan

Hi...Finally I was able to compile my code with an entry point defined and without using /clr.  I can also call this DLL from LV and got back a variable from a little test function added to the DLL.  But the function that was used for my main application in the DLL crashed LV and I got a pop up box from Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library: Runtime Error! "This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way, please contact the application's support team for more information".  In Visual Studio I also got the following message: (I eliminated most of the "No symbols loaded" messages that are not errors but just info.)  I would apprciate if someone can take to look with your more "experienced eyes", many thanks! Bryan.

Remove any lint/debris from the lightning port.
    Use an official Apple cable.
Connect it to a wall outlets, some USB ports do not output sufficient power.
If none of the above resolves, take the device to Apple for evaluation.

  • I have a PC, Windows 7 x64. I installed a plug-in in Elements 13. I tried to installed another plug-in. It replaced the first plug-in . Can't I have more than one plug-in at a time??? If so, how?

I have a PC with Windows 7 x64. I have Elements 13. I installed a plug-in (Topaz) which appeared under the Filter Menu.
Then I tried to install my new Canon Printer software plug-in which put it under FILE > AUTOMATION TOOLS. However, when I tried to use TOPAZ under the FILTER MENU it was gone. In other words, the Canon printer plug-in replaced my Topaz plug-in. When I reinstalled the Topaz plug-in, it replaced the Canon Printer Plug-in.
QUESTION: Can't I have more than one plug-in installed in Photoshop Elements 13 at a time? So that the Canon printer plug-in is in AUTOMATION TOOLS, and the Topaz plug-in is under the FILTER menu?
