Can you update a cluster of macs to tiger through ARD
I work for an IT department at a college. Is it possible to update the OS to tiger from panther throught the ARD? Or do you have to do them manually? Also, is it possible to install Adobe Creative Suite 2 through ARD?

No sorry. You must install the OS manually.
Adobe CS does not install with a Package installer, so in order to install CS2 you'd have to create a custom install package containing all of the the files that make up CS2...not an easy task.

I had the same problem today and was able to resolve it without having to do a restore or reset. The problem had something to do with my mail accounts. The upgrade reset my mail settings, switching both my gmail and my .mac mail to "archive all mail". I went into the General Settings, disabled that setting, and resynced the phone. The "other" storage allottment dropped back down to less than a gig.
Before you restore or reset, I would try that first. -

You can only update software from the Mac App Store if the that is where it was purchsed and downloaded from.
Since you installed from the DVD, your updates should be available from your Apple menu > Software Update. -

A sheet will drop down. In that sheet, select Raw Query and click OK or press return.

The search window will show all the App Store products you've installed. Compare those search results with the list of your purchases from the App Store. To see the complete list, you may need to unhide hidden purchases. If any apps were download from the App Store using other Apple ID accounts that you control, sign in to the store under each of those ID's and check the purchases.
At least one of the items listed in the search window is not among your purchases in the App Store. Move each such item to the Trash. You may be prompted for your administrator password. Empty the Trash.
Log out and log back in. Test. -

The term "memory" usually refers to RAM (Random Access Memory). I assume your are referring to storage space. Neither can be upgraded on an iPad.
However, there are some wireless external hard drives that can be used with the iPad.
The Kingston Wi-Drive, which costs $50 for the 16 Gigabyte, and then $30 more for every 16 gigs more. It works by you turning it on and then accessing the files on it from an app that you download on your iDevice. You can access music, movies, and other stuff. Then there is the Seagate GoFlex, which some would recommend over the Wi-Drive. But this one costs $199 and had 500 Gigabytes of storage. It works the sameway as the Kingston: no wires, runs over its wireless connection. You can actually fit up to 300 HD movies on it.

My iPhone has just been replaced and I am trying to restore from iCloud but its saying no backups are compatible with the version of IOS 6.0.1. My back iOS are IOS 6.1. Can you update the phone first then restore?
Welcome to the Apple Community.
Yes, update first, Settings > General > Software Update.
Then navigate to Settings > General > Reset > Erase all contents and settings on the device you want to restore.
When this completes and the Set-Up Assistant starts, choose "Restore from iCloud Backup" and enter your iCloud account and password. You will see the three most recent backups for each of the devices on which you enabled Backup. Choose which backup to restore from. -

Yes. You can download the updates to the apps in iTunes and then sync them to the iPad while the iPad is connected to your computer. I did that last night because I had so many large app updates to do - apps that were 250MB up to 650MB in size - and it just made more sense to me to do it that way.
