someone but that is a difficult as trying to figure out how to use your
product. Could you please help me fix this and cancel the subscription and
refund my money
Thank you

Hi IMOPerfect,
I checked your account using the same email address that you use here in the forums, but see so record of a SendNow subscription under that address. Is it possible that you subscribed under a different email address?
For starters, you can turn off auto-renewal for your subscription. See How to turn off auto-renewal for your SendNow subscription for more information.
Please let me know if you may have subscribed with a different address, and we can take it from there. (Please don't include your email address in a forum post--I'll send you a private message.)

• Verizon Service Cancellation, Keep Phone?

I bought a 5s three days ago on a new two-year contract. Unfortunately, I'm not especially pleased with the "share everything" plan's cost, especially when I would forego unlimited calls for a lower price. Unfortunately, I'm not old enough to take advantage of Verizon's 65 Plus plans :-/
So, I am still within the 14 day return period, but I managed to snag a 64gb gold 5s and would like to keep it. If I were to cancel my service before the 14 day grace period is up, would I be able to keep the phone by paying the difference b/w the cost of the phone and the subsidized price I paid (plus the $35 activation)? Or would I have to wait til the 15th day and incur the ETF on top of a non-prorated service charge+activation? Either way is fine so long as I can keep the phone. I just want to know how this works.
The thing is, I purchased the phone from the Apple store, which has a 30 day device return policy on iPhones. When I purchased the phone I didn't know I could have gotten it at full price instead of subsidized with activation. Unfortunately, it's too late for that now...

@après_la_pluie
I am saddened to hear that you are not happy with the plan options we have to offer and that you're looking to discontinue service with us! I would love the opportunity to go over plan options with you so that you're not only happy with your device, but also able to enjoy it on the nation's largest, most reliable network. How many lines of service do you currently have with us? Which Shared Data plan option did you choose at the time of purchase?
To address your concerns about the cancellation policy, if you purchased your iPhone at an Apple Store, you have 30 days from the original date of purchase to return your device for a full refund. Keep in mind, the device would have to be returned within the 30 days to avoid being charged the $350 early termination fee. With that being said, if you decide to keep the equipment and terminate service you will be charged the early termination fee. This would still apply if service is terminated within the 30 day return period.

• My BT nightmare - And I was only with them for aro...

Hi,
This post is a rant at how appalling I have found BT customer services, and I have only been a customer for 2 ½ days!
I placed my order around the end of January for BT Infinity & BT telephone line, I was to be transferring over from Sky. Anyway, I received an activation date of the 16 Feb 2015 and a few days before this I received the HH5.
So late on Sunday 15 Feb I realised that I did not know what time the BT engineer would be arriving so I got onto BT live support and discovered that there would be no engineer visit, I would just connect up the HH5 and the Infinity would be ready a few hours after BT take over my line from Sky. Great, as I had already booked a day off work I figured I would make the most of it so I spent the day playing on my Playstation waiting for the infinity to start working.
Well my Sky internet went off at about 9am, this was the time my wife tried to dial up her works remote connection. No worries, I connected the HH5 and told her that it would be active in about 2 hours (It states this on the HH5 box). Well it didn’t activate and my wife had to tether her mobile to her laptop so she could work. Kinda sucked but there we go these things happen, after all BT said on the order tracking that it could be up to midnight before it activated. Well midnight came & went and it was still not activated.
I should also mention that I run several online shop’s all of which have had to be closed since Monday 16 Feb as a cost of several hundreds of pounds lost each day my internet was off.
So Tuesday 17 Feb I contact BT via live chat and get passed from pillar to post and eventually an Indian lady calls me and says Infinity will be active by 16 Feb at midnight, Ummm yeah that was like 10 hours ago as it is now 10am on Tuesday morning. She then started saying something an all I could understand was the word ‘engineer’ and that she promised the Infinity would be active by midnight on the 17 Feb.
Well you guessed it, midnight on the 17 Feb came & went and Infinity was still not active.
So today Wednesday 18 Feb, day three of my online shops being turned off at about a loss of £900 in turnover and my wife racking up a huge bill tethering her mobile to her laptop so she could be able to work. I again contact BT via live chat and again get passed around several departments until a lovely lady (cough cough) who appeared to take great delight in disconnecting our chat before I had finished asking questions.
Anyway, this lovely lady eventually told there was a routing problem and that BT would have an update – An update, not a resolution but an update on the 24 Feb, 6 days time - During this time I would stand to lose about £2000.00 in online shop sales not to mention the huge bill my wife is running up on her mobile by tethering it to her laptop.
Surely, this two week wait between ordering Infinity and it going live BT Openreach should be making sure everything is actually working at the exchange/cabinet so on the go live date it actually goes live. And the go live date does not mean we will see if it works date.
I told the BT support girl that this time scale was completely unacceptable and I must cancel my order immediately as I need to get internet access. No problem she said I can cancel it now, should she proceed? Yes I said please do. There was a long pause and she came back on to the chat to say it had been cancelled. Great I thought…..
I then said that I presume I will not be charged for the cancellation and she replied that I had two weeks to cancel after I had placed the order. What the heck, how is that fair? I placed the order about 18 days ago and BT have failed to provide the service. How the hell am I supposed to know that that BT could not provide infinity to me until these two weeks after my initial order has passed?
Surely this has to be some breach of the distance selling regulations? When I sell something online the customer has 30 days AFTER receipt of the goods to decide if they want to keep them. If I was to follow BT’s cancellation policy then I would only allow my customers to change their minds after I posted and before they received the goods…. This type of cancellation policy to totally unacceptable if you ask me.
Anyway, the BT chat girl then say that my line will be gone by tomorrow (19 Feb) and everything will be cancelled. Again great I thought, I can get back on to Sky and get them to supply ADSL again. Then it occurred to me, if BT are ceasing my order my line will go dead. I pressed the BT chat girl about this and she then admitted that yes, the line will be ceased and I would probably have to pay to get it reconnected! WTF – BT have caused all these issues and are quite happy to totally drop me in the dodo and they really don’t give a toss about their customers.
I then asked the BT girl about the potential to recover loss of earnings from BT at this point she disconnected me and that was the end of that.
So it remains to see if I will be charged for a service I have not received but I for one will never ever use BT for any of my services in the future.
Now, later that day I contacted Sky via live chat whilst I was out on a job and they were extremely helpful. At one point my laptop did a restart and lost the chat with Sky just as I was making progress with my internet issue, I couldn’t believe it but before my laptop had restarted the Sky rep I was chatting to called me up on my mobile! Awesome.
She then proceeded to see what she could do to get my phone number & line back from BT and she said the system was letting her pull it back across, this is great as I won’t have to pay a reconnection fee and my landline number stays the same.
But that is not all, she went on to say that I also qualified for 12 months free Sky unlimited internet (ADSL – the same package that I was on before) she did not know how but something to do with BT taking the line away from Sky and then her puling it back across. Result!
She then said that it could take up to two weeks to get the ADSL back on my phone line, bit of a bummer I thought but it was my fault really for trusting BT to get me up & running when they said they would. But she then proceeded to tell me that she would be crediting my Sky account with £25 so I could go out and buy an internet dongle so I could get back online and open up my online shops (I was going to do this anyway but Sky have said they will pay for it!)
So there we go, just look at the difference in customer support between BT and Sky.
I wish I had never tried to move to BT and I cannot believe what an incompetent company they are and the contempt they treat their customers with.
BT sucks if you ask me!

Welcome to the BT Residential Customers forum
As you are a business user, perhaps you should post your comments on the BT Business forum at http://business.forums.bt.com/
BT do not permit you to use a residential account to run a business anyway, as its against their T&Cs.
BT Business broadband has a proper SLA, and compensation arrangements on certain packages.
It may be wise to see what Sky say about business usage, and their compensation arrangements.
As both BT and Sky use the Openreach network, that is where any future failures ar most likely to be.
There are some useful help pages here, for BT Broadband customers only, on my personal website.

HELP!!!
SGAREN

Hello Sally,
First, I have only heard/read good things about the book Steve recommends. It is on my to buy list one day. Been awaiting a long deserved vaction to pick it up to read.
I approach XML files pretty much like I do any text file I am sent in that I will import or copy/paste a text file into a frame in ID and begin setting my styles. With XML, though, I first clean it up, move closing tags up to their logical close lines, remove spurious codes that mean something in HTML but don't necessarily belong in the XML file (like &#x2019 which is an apostrophe so I do a search and replace. But for which is a non-breaking space I simply search and replace with a regular space in general), and make sure the XML validates.
Validation is much like making sure an HTML page is formed properly. I use an XML editor (XML BluePrint) and a text editor (UltraEdit) for these tasks. If I had to only have one or the other, I suppose the XML editor is what I would use.
I always show the import options when I import the XML and make sure that I link to the file.
So once a sample of the XML is on a page in ID (via File | Import XML), I highlight text within a tag, say like in your example above, the Providor name, and make it like I want and then create a new style. I generally name the styles as per the XML tag. Later on, that makes mapping tags to styles a little easier.
Once I set up all the styles preliminarily, I map the tags to styles. You can do that either via the Tags palette or via the Structure Pane that will appear once the XML is imported. In both cases, it is found via the flyout menu at the top right of their respective windows.
After mapping my styles to the tags, I select the root element in the Structure Pane (the topmost element. In your sample above it is "providors" and delete it. This removes the XML in your ID file. But the styles and tags are still present.
Then I import the XML again and look to makes sure all the tags/elements are styled as intended. I then correct any errors/ommissions. Then...I'll delete the XML again and import the full XML file.
I can upload what I did with your XML sample above so you can compare it to your source file if you would like. You would then see how/where I moved tags. Now, moving the tags is only "necessary" to avoid all the extra blank paragraphs. That can be accomplished by ID's search/replace, too. But I like to start out with the XML cleaned up, so I take the few minutes to do it.
Take care, Mike

• How to order more than 1 item from iphoto?

I just created 3 calendars and 3 photobooks and want to order all of them but it seems like I have to order them one by one and also pay for the shipment separately = 6 times.. is there anyway I could make ONE order for all my items at the same time?
/Jonna

Welcome to the Apple Discussions.
Can I combine my orders to save on shipping?
Apple does not have a way to combine orders. Due to the highly-automated nature of our system it is not possible to make any changes to an order once it has been placed. (You can cancel you order within 90 minutes of placing it; read our Cancellation Policy for more information).
That's from http://www.apple.com/support/photoservices/ordering_options/

• Order 3 different calendar with Iphoto 09

I'm trying to order my first Iphoto calendar. But I made 3 different calendars and I'd like to make a unique order and pay only one shipping for all the 3 of them.
How can I do this? If I press the button "buy calendar" and then "buy now" am I allowed to add another calendar later at the same order?
thanks,
ciao ciao

No
http://www.apple.com/support/photoservices/ordering_options/
That is not possible - only identical products can be ordered on one order
Can I combine my orders to save on shipping?
Apple does not have a way to combine orders. Due to the highly-automated nature of our system it is not possible to make any changes to an order once it has been placed. (You can cancel you order within 90 minutes of placing it; read our Cancellation Policy for more information).

Why not support office 2003 on the icloud.

While you are busy bashing ATT and praising your current service provider, take a look at your current providers cancelation policy. I can guarantee if you got a bundled deal, you also have a 1-2 year contract with a cancelation penalty.
I was, like yourself, unhappy with Uverse, which sold to Frontier. The Internet was intolerable. So I switched to Cox internet. Since I only moved my internet service, I wasn't charged an early termination fee, but lost the bundled discount. Since I didn't bundle with Cox, I also didn't get an introductory price or bundle discount.
I'm fine with that. I am under no obligation with Cox and only a few months left with Frontier TV.

• Droid Razr Maxx Screen Cracked

Upgraded to the Maxx from the Droid X in April. Bought the Otter Box Commuter. Went to Verizon store in June due to poor reception (low bars) and frequent data (both WiFi and LTE) connection drops. Store rep told me it was a problem with the simm and swapped the card- no questions no charge. No improvement. Because I wasn’t actually dropping calls, I chalked it up to the phone model and didn’t go back to the store or CS regarding a replacement. BIG MISTAKE> Two days ago I made a call and put the Maxx (in the otterbox) in the front pocket of my loosely fitting shorts as I was standing in line at a store. I felt the phone vibrate as I got my food, put the tray on the table and retrieved the phone from my pocket before I sat down and the phone display would not light up. The phone was also unusually hot to the touch. I looked closer and found the inside screen cracked. There was no crushing, dropping, or impact of any kind. The phone was in the otterbox, screen side against my thigh, in my pocket. The screen has multiple cracks under the gorilla glass. I went to the Verizon store yesterday and the rep said he’d heard it about ‘digitizers’ cracking without impact before. He told me to read the forums because it’s a known issue, and then call CS about the defect because I have no insurance (didn’t think I needed it because I’m careful, I bought the case, and the Droid X was built like a sherman tank). I found many posts here and elsewhere about my issue. I called Verizon CS and to her credit the woman I spoke with was phenomenal. She explained that she would send a replacement phone. She then said she was worried about me being charged up to $300 if the phone showed signs of damage upon inspection. She told me that warranty replacements are not ALWAYS inspected thoroughly, but that an impending charge was a possibility. I was adamant the phone was defective as there was no evidence of impact on the outside glass itself. I referenced the forms here and that many people are complaining of the same issue. She told me that, if I was charged, to call back and refute it. She then proceeded to review my data usages and adjust my contract accordingly to save me about $20 per month. I agreed to the warranty replacement and new phone was shipped yesterday to arrive on 9/27 via USPS. I was informed that a box/label would be sent and I would have to mail my defective phone within 5 business days of receiving the box. I am still able to use the phone to make calls with my car’s Bluetooth. Now I am waiting for the box and new phone to arrive. I’ll send the defective one in and follow the CS rep’s advice to “keep my fingers crossed” with regard to whether or not the phone will be flagged as damaged. If so and I am charged, it will appear on my November bill. I’m hoping for the best, but dubiously expecting to make a frustrating phone call around Election Day. I figure, if I am charged the $300, I can subtract $200 due to the savings off my bill from the account adjustment. And, not having to deal with Motorola refusing to fix it will be worth the other $100. Having the phone repaired by Motorola isn’t an option because I don’t want to be without it for 2 weeks on top of the costs I would incur. I sat down and compared the Maxx to my old X and the difference is remarkable. The X case is metal and minus the Kevlar back, the Razr is plastic. If I do receive a replacement, I expect the new Maxx to break before my contract is up NEXT December. The Razr is lighter and thinner than my old X. But I can’t in good conscience upgrade to another Moto phone- warranty or not, I want a quality product for my money. My question is, has anyone with this or a similar issue had luck with a warranty replacement? What are my chances?

What you experienced is the reason i have T.E.C. on both of my Maxx's it's a little more Money that comes out of the Pocket at bill Paying time but having it kind of pays off in the Long Run..

• Why I will NEVER recommend AT&T to my family, friends or coworkers

I recently moved and as a loyal AT&T customer I decided to move my Uverse and Internet services with me. As anyone who has ever moved can empathize, I had an inordinate amount of things on my plate, on top of running my own business. I was dissatisfied with my internet service from the first couple of weeks and planned on calling to get - I hoped - some options to upgrade. So I called AT&T customer support three weeks ago and was told the package I could upgrade to would only give me up to 24Mbps of internet speed, and that was just the maximum, not a guaranteed minimum. That was only 2Mbps faster than was I was experiencing at the time, which I knew would not be sufficient. It was faster to run the internet on my wireless network rather than using Wi-Fi to browse the internet on my phone. Similar experience on my laptop, desktop and iPad. I didn't want to switch, but I didn't have a choice as AT&T wasn't offering a solution to the internet problem. It wasn't until two weeks ago, about two months into the service, that I was able to get around to finding another provider who offered over four times the speed of internet! I signed up immediately. As a business owner it is imperative for me to have a fast internet connection to keep in touch with clients. AT&T unfortunately could not offer me the service I needed. Reluctantly, I spent another half day getting new services installed and going through that whole experience again. I would have liked to avoid that if possible, but as I mentioned, the AT&T internet was so poor I just didn't have a choice. Although I had to go through the inconvenience of having new services installed, I'm glad I did because my internet service has tremendously improved! When I called AT&T to explain the situation and cancel my services I was basically told that I waited too long to cancel (over one month) and would be charged a $165 cancellation fee. I implored with them to understand my position as a consumer, a business owner, and a new home owner. They would not. At one point, the manager Jennifer basically told me, “Why didn’t you call sooner? If you hadn’t waited this long you could have cancelled without penalty. We’re already two months in. There’s nothing I can do for you.” I found her response to be rude and insensitive. She doesn't know what I have going on daily. Who is she to ask me why I didn't call sooner? She should simply help me solve the issue and take into consideration that I was a loyal customer for over two years before this - even after my bill fluctuated without warning on numerous occasions - but that's yet another story! I will pay the $165 fee, which will pale in comparison to the cost of losing potential business from my friends, family, and co-workers, as I’ll be sure to tell them about this negative customer experience. What a lack of appreciation for customer loyalty. Sorely disappointed in you, AT&T. You’re better than this.

While you are busy bashing ATT and praising your current service provider, take a look at your current providers cancelation policy. I can guarantee if you got a bundled deal, you also have a 1-2 year contract with a cancelation penalty.
