Cancelling a line

My daughter recently submerged her phone in a canoeing accident.  Can I replace her phone without the $175 fee (we just switched to Verizon) or how do I cancel the account so I can get something else that works.  We already have 5 lines with her non-functioning line.

You can try getting a Certified Pre-Owned phone, or try ebay, craigslist, or other third party vendors.  You don't need to cancel her line, just get another Verizon branded phone to activate on her line.  If you have an older phone (we keep our old phones as spares when we upgrade) you can activate one of those for her to use.
HTH, and post back if you have more questions.

  • Cancelled contract lines are populating in the SR form's subject tab when clicking on 'Get Contracts' button

Cancelled contract lines are populating in the SR form's subject tab when clicking on 'Get Contracts' button. But user says, it should not be populated. What could be the reason? Please suggest.
I have told the user :
"In the case of a renewed contract, if the service request is logged during the effectivity of the original contract (which is now Expired), the original contract will be retrieved. If the service request is logged during the effectivity of the renewal contract then only the renewal contract will be retrieved.
Contract Entitlement on Subject tab is based on Contract Start and End dates. All the contracts i.e. expired, active, cancelled will appear until the end date. As we can see the contract ES-10165 is end dated on 09-DEC-2014, hence it will appear on the subject tab as per the functionality."
    But the User is saying:
"Contract coverage is clear to be based on dates, and that is quite clear to me as well… the problem comes with the different statuses.
A SR can be associated to an “EXPIRED” contract line because the SR creation date could be falling between coverage line start and end dates, but can never be related to a “CANCELLED” line.
This “CANCELLED” status means that the line is not valid for the contract, so if it is not valid for a contract, it is not valid for referencing a job…and this is only creating wrong costs associations."

    Hi Sudhakar,
Drop inline message components for each of the textFields and the textArea and then run the application. You could also use a message list component but inline message components for each of the input components would give you a clear idea if any errors are occuring. In case any such errors are indeed occuring then the situation can be analysed further.
    Hope this helps
    Cheers

  • How to cancel multiple lines for an Purchase Order

    Hello everyone,
Does anyone know a way to cancel multiple purchase order lines, without having to do it manually?
Is there a way to do it automatically?
    Thanks and regards,
    Ankit

    Hi,
Not sure if it's possible through PO screen. You may cancel PO lines programatically using po_document_control_pub.control_document with p_action = 'CANCEL'. You could use it inside a loop to cancel multiple lines.
    Hope it helps.

  • Need to pass in line charges when cancel order line using API?

    Hi,
Do we need to pass in line charges (charges, freight cost) when cancel order line using Oe_Order_Pub.Process_Order API?

I found the answer to my own question:
Yes it is a supported feature. It is documented on the following page:
    http://help.adobe.com/en_US/FlashPlatform/reference/actionscript/3/flash/desktop/NativeApp lication.html#event:invoke
When you subscribe to the invoke event of the NativeApplication it will subsequently dispatch the event and you read the e.arguments Array object to get the startup arguments passed into the native application.

  • Problem with purchase orders and cancelling order lines

    Hi,
We have a problem with purchase orders and cancelling order lines. For example we have created PO no. 4300291277:
We have made a GR 5000186897 on 03.09.2010 amount 1.920 and tried to cancel it with GR 5000208866, but it takes the invoice amount 1.724 instead of 1.920. What is the correct way to undo this orders, so we cancel the 1.920 and not the 1.724?
Please help me, your help will be highly appreciated.
    Regards,
    Najma.

    hi,
You have to cancel the IR first...and then do cancel the GR...
yes, there will be diff. in the price(if the price changes in bwtn)..if no changes in the price , the price will taken as old one..
    Process:
    1. Cancel IR
    2. Then cancel GR..
    3. then go the PO and try to delete the line item..

  • Cancel one line?

How do I cancel one line from a family plan? I am planning on switching to at&t even though it will cost me about $250 to cancel, it will be worth it. At least their iphones are somewhat more affordable and I will be saving money on a plan with them as well.

Are you planning to port the number to your new carrier?  If so, then you won't need to cancel on Verizon's end - the port will automatically cancel Verizon service.  In fact, if you do cancel service with Verizon before the port, the number will not be available to port.  Go to your new carrier and start the process there.
If you are NOT keeping the same number, then just call customer service and cancel the line of service.  You cannot do it online, you have to call in or visit a store to cancel a line.

  • Cancel backorder line in sales order

    Hi All,
Can we cancel the line which has been backordered. For example, for an item(Printer mechanism) has onhand quantity of 4 and reservable quantity 4. If we book 5 quantities of item(Printer mechanism), 4 will be pick released and 1 will be backordered. Can i cancel this 1 backordered or can i cancel the whole order so that i can serve for a other priority order. Please suggest what can be done.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Mahesh

    Hello,
I my opinion in your case reservation is pointless because your shipment priority is changing. Pick release I think do not allocate items( check this ). When you do not have reservation you can leave at the moment shipment with low priority and issue with higher.
We do not use reservation because stock could be pick almost to every customer.
    Edit.
Pick release allocate items. In this case when you have status Pick release you have to make backorder. After this you can issue another sales order.
I have a question when do you know that you have higher priority sales order (after pick realise or earlier)?

  • Three line family plan. How do I cancel the line that's about to complete its two-year contract?

My phone is the primary line for a three-line family plan I share with my wife and brother. My two years is up this month, my wife's two years is up next month, and my brother's is up the month after that. As each contract expires, we want to cancel the family plan and switch over to month-to-month plans. One caveat: I'm abroad right now, so I simply want my service to lapse completely until I return in six months, and I'll worry about my phone then. How do I cancel my line when my contract expires this month? How do I switch my wife and brother's accounts over to month-to-month as their contracts expire?

Hi,  I was just looking into similar circumstances but I want to keep my daughter's line and only suspend mine.  My question is that if I suspend my phone can I still upgrade my daughter's line?  I was laid off and if I don't find another job then I want to cancel my phone but keep her phone active.  Her last phone the screen shattered so I want to renew her contract to get a new phone.  I am thinking of going thru the edge plan since it seems the price with the discount works out to be the same if I go that way instead of paying the full discounted price outright.  Can I upgrade her phone without renewing the contract on my phone?
    Thank you so much!!

  • Past due bill, can I still cancel a line before its been paid?

Hi I'm on my parents plan and we're actually rather far behind on our bill. I've been wanting my own plan for sometime because I want a smart phone, but I also want my same number. Pretty much can I cancel my line even though they are behind on payments and have yet to pay? I need my own line I can finally afford it and I'm too impatient to wait till 8 am to find everything out. I'm also on a month to month plan what is my cancelation fee going to be?

I believe the account where your current line is associated with has to be current and not behind in payments BEFORE the line is able to be split from the account into its own through the Assumption of Liability process. The Assumption of Liability will let you keep your phone number.

  • Cancel a line from my account

How do I cancel my daughters phone from my account.  I just want to cancel her line but all I find is to suspend the line for 90 days

You can't cancel a line of service on-line, you have to either contact Customer Service (*611 from your cell phone or 800-922-0204) or visit your local Corporate VzW store.  And if the line is still under contract, you'll incur an Early Termination Fee.

  • One line out of contract, can I cancel another line under contract without ETF?

I've seen many people asking this question, but the answer was different from what I heard from the chat with CSR.
    So, does this idea work?
I have three lines on my account.
A - Upgrade available in 10/2012 (contract ends on similar date)
B - Upgrade available in 10/2013 (contract ends on similar date)
C - Upgrade available as of now (contract ended)
Basically, I have one line that's out of contract.
Since I have one line that's done with the contract, can I cancel one line even though it's still under contract from my account?
I thought this wasn't allowed, but in my recent chat with CSR named Cassey(she said she left notation about our conversation), she said it is possible and was so sure about that.
I was in the exact same situation back in March when I cancelled 4th line I used to have in my account.
I was told it couldn't be done that way and had to wait for a couple month with the charges.
Please clear this up so that I could take an appropriate action.

    So, is the answer "no"?
I can't cancel a line as long as it's under contract even though I have another line that's out of contract? Correct - the contract, or agreement is to keep a line of service active for 24 months after the upgrade (or purchase of a subsidized/discounted phone).  If the 24 months is not up, and you cancel that line, there will be an ETF based on the # of months out of the 24 that were fulfilled.
Then, I really wish there is a way I can talk to the rep I chatted.
I triple checked with her, she said I could do that, and she was so sure about it. Maybe she misunderstood the question??  Though it seems pretty clear to me what you are asking, and it's just as clear it's not the way it works!  The contract is on the line of service, and tied to that phone number.

  • Cancel a line after buddy upgrade

I'm part of a family plan and used a buddy upgrade a couple years ago, and that line is a few months away from being able to upgrade. Because I used someone else's upgrade, they used mine recently, so "my" contract is until 2014 now. Will I be able to cancel my line when the other person's upgrade is available without paying an ETF?

Hi andreec95,  It would be break my heart to see you go!  May I ask why you are considering ending your service?  I can confirm as the other users stated that the contract is specific for each line.  If an upgrade is alternated, the original line eligible for the upgrade is responsible for the contract.  I hope we can restore you confidence in us and help keep you as a customer!

  • Cancelling a line and and adding new lines to existing PO using API

    Hi,
Can any one please help me know how I can cancel a line and insert new lines into a existing PO using any API.
    Many Thanks,

However, if you do not want a contract on the new lines, (since you will have your own equipment), the activation fee will be $35.00 per line.  If you agree to a 2-year contract for the share lines, the activation fees will be $25.00 per line.
You can add the new lines by calling our Telesales Department at 800-256-4646.
    Thank you,
Really?!  I didn't know that made a difference...I thought secondary lines were $25 - well, ya learn something new every day!
And a side note - we added a line for my 75+ yr old mother with one of our old flip phones and CS was extremely kind in waiving the activation fee (I could have sworn it was $25 charged and credited on the bill), PLUS they boxed up the flip phone after activating it (with an out of state number to boot) and shipped it to my Mom, all at no additional cost to me.  I'm not saying that will be everyone's experience, and I was amazed the service rep offered to ship it for me - but I smiled and said "THANK YOU!" and accepted it!
