Cannot Access Data

I have read posts on this forum and on Adobe and still have not rectified my situation.
When I try to utilize a Web Service Connection on a dashboard, I get an error condition "Cannot Access External Data".
The Adobe site gives some suggestion regarding policy files and updates to Adobe Control Manger. I have tried all the suggestions with no resolution.
I am sure others have had this issue with the release of Flash Player 10 and its impact on Excelsius.
I would appreciate some guidance on how to set up my system so my Dashboards can connect to web services I have created.

maybe can be the definition of web services.
Take a look to the url structure( ip or server name)
webservices: http://ip:8080/dswsbobje/qaawsservices/biws?WSDL=1&cuid=id
verify the url to access to infoview portal:
http://ip:8080/InfoViewApp
must be the same structure.

Error:Out-of-bounds pointer argument CVI12.0 Cannot access data member of a nested structure

Hi,
I'm getting an error "FATAL RUN-TIME ERROR: Out-of-bounds pointer argument (before start of memory block)" while trying to access a data element from a nested structure (structure with in a structure) in a dll file in debug as well as release mode.
I'm using CVI 12.0, and i came across some messages in the forum stating that similar erros was there for CVI 8.0, 8.5 & 9.0 but not 8.1. posted message
A previous Message posted some time back clearly explains the issue for CVI 9.0, but i don't know whether the isuue still persists for CVI12.0 too.
Will be helpful if somebody can throw some light regarding the above mentioned issue;

Cannot access data from a Time Machine backup

Hey all. This might get slightly confusing so bear with me.
I have a back up on an external drive from Snow Leopard. I sold my computer and bought a different mac with LEOPARD. It said I couldn't restore because I don't have the version of MAC OS that the backup was created on. So I wanted to simply go into the backup drive and pick and choose what I restore. Problem is that it says I don't have the proper access right to do what I want with it.
So, I wanted to change the access rights to it. I did the whole "Get info" and change all the privileges on it. Still a no go. I even went into the console to change the privs there....no dice. So I even tried a program that is supposed to wipe privileges. No go. The Disk Utility doesn't even have it to where I can even do a permission repair. The option is grayed out.
I'm running out of options here before I take it to the so called geniuses at the "genius bar" for help. Any suggestions?

I did go out this weekend and purchased Snow Leopard. Problem is don't have enough space on my current drive to to a full on restore. So I picked a couple files to do a restore through the time machine and still the same privilege problem.
I'm thinkin' that I should just get on the horn tomorrow with the apple care and see what they can offer. I've had some bad run ins with those techs though, because I am also technical support/sys admin. Those people HAVE to treat everyone like they are dumb. One time I got annoyed because I told him that I understood what he said and that I did A B and C. He has to talk to people that way I guess because alot of people just can't figure out an Apple system if it didn't work like they expected. lol.
So I strayed from the topic. Funny thing about my music and movie files is I can play them through VLC, but I can't play them through iTunes. How messed up is that? SO, I can play through a non Apple program, but I can't alter it or import it to itunes. And as far as Ubuntu goes, the folders don't even show up as folders. They show up as pieces of papers. They are gone, just heavily secured.

You may be using the Filter tool. There's a checkbox to turn it off.
Click the Sort and Filter icon, and then the Filter Tab. Uncheck the box opposite Filters.

Unfortunately, even though things might be obvious to you, we cannot see your network, or know what you might be thinking, so we need more information from you to be able to help. The bottom line.....we only know as much about your issue as you tell us.
When you say that you cannot access data older than yesterday, are you saying that you have a Time Capsule which has been making Time Machine backups in the past, but you now cannot see any backups that were made before yesterday?
Have you been backing up using other Macs, and you can see all of the backups of the other Macs when you check?
Is the indictor light on the Time Capsule green, or is it blinking amber?
What operating system are you using on your Mac? If you are not sure, click the Apple icon in the upper left corner of the screen, then click About This Mac, and post back with the OS X version number that you see there.

P6 Analytics - cannot load data from STAR database in BI EE

We have successfully deployed OBI EE 11g and STAR database (RDB 3.1), ETL processes have also run succesfully. But we cannot access data from the Analytics in a very strange way: we can get information on EPS and WBS, but cannot get projects or activitites data. It doesn't show any errors, it just returns empty replies (including replies on SQL-queries in Administration->SQL). I have cleaned the cache (call SAPurgeAllCache()) and reloaded metadata. I've checked the STAR db - all the data is ok.

Check in P6 application that you have given access to P6 Analytics module to the application user. If not give that and rerun Global Schedule services followed by ETL process.

WE know Disk Warrior is more reliable, hence more useful, and should be in any disk mechanics toolchest.
For the record, I don't know anything of the kind. I have yet to see evidence that Disk Warrior is useful at all.
What I do know is that you seem to take every opportunity you get to promote it in these forums. Do you work for Alsoft?
Let me be a little more explicit. My opinion is that Disk Warrior is a waste of money if one has backups. If a journaled HFS directory is so badly corrupted that it can't be repaired by Disk Utility, then the volume should be reformatted and restored from backup, which has the same effect as running DW, but is probably faster and doesn't cost $99.

No there isn't. If you check iCloud, you are not showing any backups at all? Did you have the phone set to sync contacts in iCloud, or were you just backing up to iCloud? If you were just backing up, then you should be able to access the backup, but if you were not syncing, then you probably cannot see the contacts in iCloud. You would have to wait until you restore from the backup to see them. You will probably have to go onto the iCloud website to erase and remove the device from Find My iPhone if you want to clear it off.

It sounds like the battery might have gone bad, and is swelling and causing the symptoms you describe. Do not attempt to use the phone, but take it to Apple for evaluation.

Cannot access external data , Failed to get the document information.

Hi All,
In my dashboard there are live office connections which has optional prompts defined in SAP BI. I have bound the cells to these prompts in live office object properties.
There are no errors while refreshing the LO connections from excel sheet.
But when i run that dashboard and give BLANK value for that prompt then it throws the error :
Cannot access external data , Failed to get the document information. (LO 26315).

I am building a similar solution as yours connecting webi reports to Bex queries and reading the webi data through live office into the dashboards. I am using almost similar versions as yours - BW 7.1 SP5, BO 4.1 SP4, Dashboards and Live Office SP4 versions. I am facing issues setting up the live office connections itself. I create the Live office connections within an excel and when I try to import this excel spreadsheet into my dashboard designer, it runs forever and crashes.
Could you please list out the steps you performed to get the Dashboard to preview live office data? Do you have OLAP connections for BW cubes and created WebI reports using these connections or You created a Universe on top of the Bex Queries?
It would be great if you could share the steps performed.
With respect to your issue, check if the report engine service is running. Do you have any error message details apart from this error?

I have just downloaded and installed 11.2 Express Edition + Oracle SQL developer on Windows 7 but when I tried to connect it returned me an error: 12705 Cannot access NLS data.
I tried to change NLS_LANG param in registry & skipped NLS settings bit it did not helped.
How to resolve this?

SRS Browser Role Cannot Access Shared Data Sources

I've created some reports using VS and shared data sources and deployed. I can run reports (I'm a domain admin), but users I've given system administrator roles within SRS cannot access shared data sources. However, if I embed the data source, everything
is fine. I'm pulling data from three different servers, so the shared data sources are somewhat important. I'm using SQL Native userid/passwords not windows authentication. Anybody got any ideas? I'm new to SRS. Thanks.

I’m confused about the meaning of “cannot access shared data sources”. Are you saying the user cannot see the Shared Data Sources in Report Server, but he can render the report well? Or the user cannot render the report well because he have no permission
to access shared data sources?
If in this first scenario, means that the role of the user have no permission to View data sources. To fix this issue, we can add View data sources task to the current role in SQL Server Management Studio.
If in the second scenario, it is so strange. In my test, I add Browser role of the report to one user which has no permission to access the shared data sources, but he can render the report which retrieve data from the shared data sources very well.
To troubleshooting this issue more efficiently, could you tell us the scenario you occurred and the error message you received? So that we can make further analysis and help you out.
