Cannot activete InfoObj with tranport to Production

Hello,
I got following warnings (W) and error (E) during transport to Production:
W Characteristic ZAS_MATL: The length has changed from 000018 to 000010
W Conversion routine ALPHA deleted > Check long text
W Charateristic ZAS_MATL: Navigation attribute ZAS_MATL__ZAS_INTGP switched on (-> N.B long text)
E Error/warning in dict. activator, detailed log > Detail
Indeed we have changed the length of InfoObject, but it has no master data in Prod yet (only one entry in master data table for version A and all fields empty), no transactional data connected ODSs or cubes.
Did anyone have similar situation in the past? May be some manual activation is possible? or some SAP note you are aware of?

Basis opened Prod. system for me and I was able to fix Warning messages, but now it seems that it was not main issue, becuase I am getting error that I did not notice earlier:
No active nametab exists for /BIC/XZAS_MATL
Message no. DA300
Diagnosis
Thee is no active nametab in the system, although an active ABAP/4 Dictionary object was expected.
XZAS_MATL is a InfoObject name, so it cannot create ... SID table for IObj's master data. Of course, there is no master data available.
Have someone had similar?

Post GM with reference to Production Order using BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE

Hi Experts,
We need to post Goods Movement with reference to Production order. In brief, we have to get the functionality of MB1A done. I'm trying to use BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE, but its not reflecting the Documented Goods Movements in the Production Order.
Here is the data i'm using:

Sometimes it generates material doc and year in exporting parameter, and sometimes it gives message "Content of order zzzzzzz : yyyyyyy transferred to interface (IMSEG): xxxxxxx".
But despite of this I cannot see the Documented Goods Movements reflecting in the Production Order.
Can anyone help on this. Is there anything else to be passed or I'm missing any process ?

I could get the postings done with BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE. I was executing BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE and then BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT separately, thus the generated Material doc number was not getting posted. When I used the Test Sequence option from SE37 menu, it worked.

Alt bom components with ATP check - production order resets usage prob.

I have searched many threads for this answer. Here is my scenario
BOM for finished good X has the following components
Component   |    Usage Prob   |    Strategy    | Alt Item Group   |   Priority
A          |             55%         |         2         |         1             |              1
B          |              45%        |         2         |          1            |               2
When I create the production order for 100 units, components A and B are proposed respectively (per usage probability, as expected)   - like so
Production Order
Component A = 55 units
Component B = 45 units
Here is the requirement - Component B at any given time is restricted by federal law to not be used for material X for more than 45% of its make up. Therefore my client cannot build X with more than 45% of component B. However, we always want to use at most 45%. IF component B is not available, transfer all or partial confirmation to Component A.
Issue:
ATP and usage probabilities will not work. Whenever I run ATP check for production order, the component with the highest priority get all the reqirements (if inventory permits). The production order master data is 'reset' by the ATP check (the usage probability on the component will change from 45% to 100%)
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Maintainance is not required, it say manual maintainance is possible if required.
if you set it 1 system will check the proportion and do the reservation accordingly , if even in production order if you check availabity it will not change the quantity proportion, if its 2 , its meant for alloting the 100 % available component.if A is not 100% available it will replace it with B , if B is availabe to cover total quantity and vice versa.
by giving 1 it gives you option to change proportion as per your wish , if the any of the alternative is not available to fullfill rerquirement., for example in your case component B , if its available you want to use it 45% all the time , but if its not availabe the you can change the proportion or quantity for A in that specific production order only.
I dont know if there is any other way.
Check again with strategy 1 .

Cannot set sga_target with db_block_buffers set

I'm trying to set a sga_target on my Oracle 10g R2 database but it shows me the following message: Cannot set sga_target with db_block_buffers set
What exactly's the impact on disabling db_block_buffers parameter? Is it better to do while the database's not being used?

ThanksYes, this is a major change, you will have to bounce. Probably the way to go would be to create pfile from spfile, copy that away somewhere safe, edit the pfile, shutdown and startup with the pfile. If you've made a mistake at this point where it won't come up, you can startup without the pfile if you need to, or keep trying to fix the pfile. When you are up, check that the parameters are what you think you did, then create spfile from pfile and bounce. Of course, if performance then goes wacko, you can go back to the saved pfile until you figure out what went wrong.
You can try with the sizing you are currently using, then after running for a while use the advisors to tweak. Note that with sga_max_size it can vary by platform and configuration whether you use the difference between target and max, so platform determines whether you should make them the same (see the thread sga_max_size vs sga_target ) . If they should be the same, you'll have to bounce later when you tweak. Get familiar with the HIST views that record the self-tuning changes as they happen.

I cannot open Acrobat with Apple Lion. The message I get is: "Licensing for this product has stopped working. Please delete program and reinstall." I have done that with no success. Any suggestions?

I was never so satisfied with an Apple product like my 11 inch Air!

We have at least one Apple product in every room, five in my home office and yadee-yadee, whatever, still hate and love Apple and Steve "screw you for not putting a camera in my 2 years old son's ipad"...
So went to bestbuy to check out the 11 in air, wanted to be truly mobil without the overheating side effect in my 13 in old air. Well, when I saw it first, it was like slow motion in slow motion for hours, like the van falling in inception. Perfect size, instant on, great curves, huge boobies, restart in 15!!! seconds, and bla bla let me sink your duck and so on. Worstbuy don't do custom apple, so went on Apple.com, ordered the basic model with 4 gigs of ram.
We're in love ever since I signed the fedex guy, haven't got out the bedroom over a week now. Creative Suite 5, hd video, office, you name it, behaves like my mac pro with 32gb of ram in my office with a wee bit less processing power. Forget the illuminated keyboard crap, come on, the wife needs to sleep, if you don't have one then full dim your brightness, grow up, its fine! No infra, seriously, don't you have an iphone or a mouse for the one time you need a remote in 10 years?

I second your opinion, totally.
I believe this is the best Apple laptop that has been ever released. Its functionality, attention to detail on the manufacturing side of things and sleek format give me goose bumps. So far it has surpassed all my initial expectations. It keeps astonishing me - it feels snappy regardless what I am about to throw at it.
Today I decided to buy a replacement one (I am going to give my current one to my wife as she will be doing a lot of online training) and also I will hook my machine up to the 27" LED Apple Display. Given some users' reviews, both the computer and the display make a perfect desktop replacement and that is exactly how I am going to arrange it.
To sum up, ever since I started using this machine my user experience has gone through the roof. You cannot go wrong with this gear!

Cannot load OCI DLL: C:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\bin\oci.dll

MS Windows 2003 R2 SP2 Enterprise x64 Edition
Oracle Database 10g Release 10.2.0.1.0 - 64bit Production
and I want to use:
TOAD for Oracle Freeware - version 8.5.0.50 g (from Quest Software)
my "path" variable is as below:

Using "netca" or "sqlplus" I can connect to the database with success.

I have Oracle Database 10g Release 10.2.0.1.0 - 64bit Production. Then all the executables including DLLs are 64-bit version compiled.
Now... I guess that the TOAD software is 32-bit application and it can not load 64-bit OCI.DLL.

The TOAD for Oracle Freeware - version 8.5.0.50 g (from Quest Software) is the latest version available from Quest Software.

Hi Guys
I am trying to copy the BOM of a material.
The error msg.
"matrial type HALB cannot be used with item category L (plant 1000)"
Diagnosis: you want to enter a new componet with material type HALB and item category L.
Settings in IMG for production (master data> BOM > Item data > define item category) determine that inventory management for this item category is to be based on quantity.
However, other settings in the IMG for material HALB in plant 1000 determine that the quantities are not updated in the material master. This means that you cannot enter this material with item category L.
Can anyone tell me how to correct this error please.

Follow this navigation path in SPRO
IMG: Logistics > Material Master > Basic Settings > Material Type > Define Attributes (OMS2)
Select a material type ( like in your case HALB) and navigate to Quantity/Value Updates. Now try to locate your plant to which you want to assign your BOM to. And then set the flags Qunatity Updating and Value Updating and save.
Now, you can come out of CS01(BOM creation) transaction and re-enter CS01. Now you can maintain the data and error will not come.

Thanks. I got the problem fixed. Spent time with the Apple folks and was kicked up to a senior advisor. It seems the problem was with my internet provider - Tmie Warner. Remember I could use the old ipad and the iphone to send mail. I checked all the specifics between the three units. It seems that TW is changing over from the RR.com to TWC.com. Since the new ipad air was just set up, it fell under the new TWC mail specifics.

SSRS Execution Account cannot be used with Report Builder

Running SQL Server 2012 SP2, I have specified an Execution Account in Reporting Services Configuration Manager as described here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms156302(v=sql.110).aspx
The article states: "You can specify Integrated Security=SSPI if the database server supports Windows integrated security and the account used for unattended report processing has permission to read the database." I have created a data source using
the Report Manager Web interface with connection string: "Data Source=<server>;Initial Catalog=<database>;Integrated Security=SSPI" and "Connect using: Credentials are not required" option.
The Execution Account is a domain user account with db_owner membership on the database in question. When I "Test Connection" in Report Manager, the connection is created successfully.
However, when I attempt to create a new dataset using this data source in Report Builder, I am unable to connect to the data source: "You have specified integrated security or credentials in the connection string for the data source, but the data source
is configured to use a different credential type. To use the values in the connection string, you must configure the unattended report processing account for the report server."
If I change the "connect using" option for the data source to "Windows integrated security" I can successfully create a new dataset and report in Report Builder. After saving the report, I reconfigure the data source for "Credentials
are not required" and I am able to successfully run the report using the Execution Account.
Is this a known limitation? The Report Builder cannot be used with an unattended Execution Account configured?

According to your description, you have set the execution account for connecting data source. You can connect data source successfully, but can't create dataset with the unattended account. Right?
As we tested in our local environment, we encountered the same issue. Even testing connection successfully in Report Builder, it still says unable connect to data source when creating dataset.

HT1692 Have recently installed itunes and outlook on a new computer. Have multiple email accounts set up in Outlook tho only use contacts and calendar in relation to one of these. Cannot sync itunes with the correct contacts and calendars, Help!

My new computer is 64-bit running Windows 7 pro, SP1 and Microsoft Office 2010 Pro Plus 32-bit
My phone is a 4S runing iOS 6.1.3
Very frustrated now that I have recently installed itunes and outlook on this new computer. Everything worked perfectly ok on my laptop which was also 64-bit Windows 7 and running 32-bit Microsoft Office 2010 Pro. I have multiple email accounts set up in Outlook tho only use contacts and calendar in relation to one of these. Cannot sync itunes with the correct contacts and calendars, when I sync the calendar and contacts are empty. Not sure if there is any way to point itunes to particular address books and calendars.
I have installed and uninstalled itunes 3 times and thank goodness have a backup

I had my home computer set up to sync to work's Exchange server. It worked well, but I didn't like seeing work email messages and other programs trying to sync with my default Outlook folder, which was then the Exchange (& work related) .ost file. I know there are various ways to manage those problems using filters, view, subfolders, etc., but it was a hassle for me. I think it could work well for many other folks.
For now, I have published my work calendar and subscribed to that calendar on my home computer. So I have view only access to my calendar on my home computer (and I can add/edit calendar items on my iPad (or Outlook Web Access) when away from work). This is not quite what I wanted, but it may work.
It almost makes me long for the days when I used my Windows Mobile Treo to sync back and forth between exchange at work and outlook at home (but had many sync conflicts as a result).
