Cannot add Connected Service in asp.web form project in vs 2012

Hi All,
I m trying to add Connected Service in asp.web form project in vs 2012 as shown below image. But my VS 2012 doesn't has that option as shown second image. Any help please.

ASP Web Forms Error: Session state can only be used when enableSessionState is set to true

I am developing a custom application page for a custom Web Forms I am creating, which I plan on using for custom task form into SharePoint 2010 Foundation.
Currently, I am trying to test it in Debug Mode using Visual Studio 2010 but when I am trying to use Sessions I get the error:
Session state can only be used when enableSessionState is set to true, either in a configuration file or in the Page directive. Please also make sure that System.Web.SessionStateModule or a custom session state module is included in the <configuration>\<system.web>\<httpModules> section in the application configuration
I've already done this on trying to fix:
On my page

And on my web.config

Note: I am getting an error when I try to add <module> into web.config
ASP .NET State Service is currently running.
And the part where it keeps error is when in PageLoad, I try to set a List object something like this:

if (Session["object"] == null)
Session["object"] = new List<object>();
return Session["object"] as List<object>;
set
Session["object"] = value;
protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)
myobject= new List<object>();
BUT the error still persists! I also try to restart IIS but still the error still happens.

Could be your skype intercepting your requests at 80 port, in Skype options uncheck
Or Your IE has connection checked for Proxy when there is no proxy
Or your fiddler could intercept and act as proxy, uncheck it!

Cannot Add Approved App To A Web Page - App Does Not Show in the App Part Section.

Hi all,
I have successfully add an App from the SharePoint App Store to my SharePoint Site which was developed using SharePoint 2013. The added app was successfully Approved then when I try to add that app using the App Part to a web page I cannot Find it
in the App Part section. I looked in the Site Collection Features & Site Features I couldn't find the app to activate. I don't think I have done some kind of mistake. So then what else I have to do to add that App part to the web page.
Could someone try to solve this matter?

First, are you sure the App contains an App Part? Not all Apps are written to have app parts. Second, did you add the app to the site collection from Add an App in the Site Contents page? Apps that are added and approved from the Store
are added to the App Catalog for the Web Application. You would normally add them to the Site Collection from there after they are approved.

Catch lost connection error in a Web Form 10g

Hello,
I have a aplication in 10g and want to catch in ON-ERROR a conection lost with OAS 10g r2.
When i disconnect the network cable in a runtime form web, i need to exit form and go to intial start form, but apears this error:
What i need is catch this error in a ON-ERROR before this error. If i catch in a ON-ERROR, i kill the form and resolve my problem.
What can i do to resolve this ?

Cannot add popup LOV to existing update form for interactive report

I have a requirement to add a popup LOV to an existing interactive report with an update form in apex 4.0.2.00.07. I have an insert form as well form the interactive report and was able to add the shared LOV as a popup correctly (so the issue isn't with the popup LOV definition). However, when I add the popup LOV to the update form, the field does not show up when I run the application. There currently isn't any data in that column of the table in the db (I'm adding the field so that users can update the data with the LOV return ID). Is there something I should look for that is keeping the field from showing on the screen that i have to check or uncheck?

Either write a classic report and implement your own filters, and use those on your update function, or try to retrieve the where clause Apex uses in the IR.

Cannot add Identity Services Engine to CPI 2.1

Hey, guys.
Has anyone been able to add one or two ISE to CPI 2.1 ???
When I try to add one of our monitoring nodes to cpi, I get an error that tells me, that the ise is not reachable .....
But of course it is, I checked the following things:
- ISE is reachable (runs in the same vlan even), this applies to both monitoring ISE nodes, none of which can be added
- ISE version is 1.3.0.876
- ISE application is running ok
- the user I used to connect is an internal super-user on ISE (configured via Gui)
- CPI version is 2.1.0.0.87
Did I miss something, if so, what did I miss ???
Could this be an ISE licensing issue ?? Meaning, do you need a particular license on ISE to be able to add them to CPI ???

Hi Frank,
Have you checked the latest patch releases for 2.1? There is a patch that you can apply to 2.1 to integrate with ISE 1.3

When you get to the page you have to access the pane that has the all releases, and navigate to the 2.1.2 portion to see the download option for the ISE 1.3 patch.
If/When you upgrade to PI 2.2 ISE 1.3 should be supported already.

Cannot add Library service to workspace

I get "resource CW_FILES_RESOURCE_TYPE is not properly installed" whenever I create a new workspace.

This is best handled by opening a tar on metalink.oracle.com. You can upload your application.log from <mid tier Oracle_Home>/j2ee/OC4J_OCSClient/application-deployments/workspaces/OC4J_XXX_Island/application.log or through EM through the logs link.

alias 9: Bail out money we didn't spend
alias 10: My big fat bonus
There is an option in the web form definition to show alias, but not 10 of them, and AFAIK you can't add an alias via a web form.

How I can attach files on a Web Form

Hi everybody,
When I add a document on a web form, the document I have to attach from the workspace directory... the server is on Linux ... instead of put the files on linux server, exists the possibility to parameterize a local directory to be easier to attach the file.....???? Or Sombeone knows about a link to see some information about my question.

Hi,
You can attach documents at two steps.
1. Go to Explore screen at workspace, import file(s) to workspace via (file->import). Make sure you defined necessary security on the folder and document alike.
2. Go to Planning, open a form, select a cell, click on "Add/Edit document" button, follow the steps and choose the file that you want to attach from workspace.
There is no dependency for attaching documents on the OS.

An error occurred while trying to connect to a Web service, when InfoPath web enabled form loads.

Hi Everyone,
I am getting an error message: An error occurred while trying to connect to a web service, when my InfoPath form tries to load. The last few days, it only spits this error message in the morning and around 12pm-1pm it resolves itself and the form loads
fine the rest of the day, oddly enough.
A few things about my form:
1). It is web enabled
2). The form submits to a form library on the SP server
3). I use the UserProfileService data connection in the form to auto-populate a few fields
4). I use a udcx file with correct language stored in the root of the site collection in the data connection library
5). The form has been working fine until a few days ago
I noticed while in Central Administration, that the User Profile Service Synchronization is Stopped. Not sure if this is causing some or all of the problem. If I need to start it I will need to contact my farm administrator to do this, since I do not
have the service account information.
Also, I looked thru the log files on the SharePoint server and found the following by searching for the Correlation ID shown when the error comes up, I won't put in everything just the important messages.
Schema file was already loaded: BuiltInActiveXControls.xsd

Hi B.,
You are on the right track. I recommend that you first get the User Profile Synchronization Service started because that itself could be the root cause of the issue.
If that doesn't fix it then focus your attention on the GetUserprofileByName data connection. I always use my secure store ID for this connection. I add the ID by editing the udcx file and then publishing it again.

How to add "Prepare Data" from a web service to the form

Hello,
Can any one please advise on how to add the "Prepare Data" process from the existing web service and have the form to pre-populate the data from this "Prepare Data" process instead of using schema xsd. I heard that this is an alternative or may be a better way to pre-populate data in ES2/ES3 to avoiding creating a data source in Form Designer. I try to find a sample on Adobe site but could not find one, most of them are using schema.
Any guidance or URL to the sample would be helpful.

I can connect to orchestrator via http://hostname:81/ but it still gives me the same error when I create the connector (Cannot connect Service Manager with Orchestrator Web Service).

Cannot add Adaptive Connectivity Service to APS (FWM 02059)

Hello,
I finished installation of another instance of BOBJ 4.1 SP3 a while ago and now I am trying to split APS. At first time, I used System Configuration Wizard, and set slider from XS to S (spliting APS into 4 APS). SCW finished with FWM 02059 error saying:
The service container connected to the server ID xxxx does not support the service ID xxxx. (FWM 02059).
At second time, i've made 4 APS manualy, but when making APS with Adaptive Connectivity Service, error message above appeared again.
At this moment Adaptive Connectivity Service is not on any server and I am not able to add it anywhere.
Do you have any idea how to solve this issue?

Tomas, this is a known issue in SP 03. you should be able to find the KB article on SMP with the error message.
I think there is a script in the KB article which you can use as a workaround.

Cannot connect to target eHR web site

I cannot connect to eHR target web site. from my home computer which is running windows 7.
I get this error message from Chrome
"Not Found The requested URL /SecurityBrokerage/forms/login.asp was not found on this server."
This error from IE 10 gives me
"The webpage cannot be found HTTP 404"
I get the same error from my laptop that has windows xp IE 8.
the eHR web site is assessed from this page.

At work (windows xp IE 8 ) I was able to access the website so I think it is a Verizon problem

Works for me on Windows 7 and Firefox.
My guess is that the OP has received an IP address that is defined in a Bogon filter somewhere that identifies that address as a "bad" site. If that is the problem it should be easy to fix, just turn off the router before going to bed and turn it on the next morning, it is very likely that a new IP address with be assigned, and the problem will disappear. It might be a good idea to record the current IP address and then check the new one to make sure it has actually changed.

How to add a new filter in an existing web service method (BIWS - WEBI document)

Hello Experts, we have 7 web service query's connected to a dashboard. Basically it is one WSDL URL and 7 Get Methods...Web service queries are BIWS (via WEBI document instance). There are filters setup for each of these web service methods.
Recently there was a request to add 2 new fields to the webi document and also the 2 fields need to be included as filters in the 7 methods. I know there is an option to edit the method, but when i edit the method, i cannot find the 2 new fields in list to set as filters.Can anybody help me understand how to add filters to an existiing web service method? I do not want to delete the method and republish the block as web service.
Any help will be great and points rewarded.

Hi Ann,
The reason you are not able to see any of the new columns as a option to select in your web service block is because when you have published that block, they were not present. Add these two new objects in your block and publish it again. You will be prompted for duplication content. Select the highlighted block for duplicate and now you can see the new added objects in the filter option. Update and this will overwrite your published block. Please note, web services do appear to behave weirdly when used with dashboards so I request you to please try it in a separate test report first.
