Cannot add my yahoo email account to my iphone5

i cannot add my yahoo email account to my iphone5. I have been trying for many times and it keeps saying "Yahoo server is unavailable". I can access my email on my computer, and was also able to add another email account to my iphone5, but not the yahoo account.

Is this Outlook account being integrated using the Outlook Web Acccess (OWA) protocol?
Have a look at KB02858 for issue integrating an OWA account
Also, you may need to have your IT Admin take a look at some Firewall settings to allow connection to the BlackBerry Internet Service infrastructure.
KB11036 give the firewall connection requirements needed.

Cannot add a new email account, and hence i have no way of creating an iCloud account (very frustrating). I had the same problem with iOS 4.3 but i had no email account to create as i set both up when i bought the iPhone 4. After adding a company email and a gmail account (both wok perfectly) i noticed that the option to create more email accounts had been ghosted (unclickable). This didn't worry me at the time. However, iCloud needs me to create one in here so i can access the cloud which i desperately want the ability to do. When i go into Settings -> Mail, accounts, calendars, the option to add a new account cannot be clicked (ghosted). I also have iCloud in the iPhone Settings ghosted (unclickable). I have same problem in itunes on Mac OSX. Surely restoring isn't the solution as i restored my iphone when changing from iOS 4.3 -> 5. Please help?

General,
Restrictions, type in your Restriction Password,
Accounts, tick Allow Changes.
Press the back key a few times till you're back in Settings, you should see iCloud is now highlight able, now go to Mail Contacts and Calenders and add your email account as per norm.

I cannot logoff from yahoo email account in the Firefox Browser. I have installed another browser and can successfully logoff. Do you have a fix so I can continue using Firefox?

I have tried several times to reboot but when I logon to Firefox then to my Yahoo email account it will not let me logoff. I have installed a different web browser and my yahoo email account works fine including a successful logoff. Help!

That problem can be caused by the Yahoo! Toolbar that extents too much downwards and covers the top part of the browser window and thus makes links in that part of the screen not clickable.

i have 2 gmail accounts and receive email for each in different tabs in T.bird. It works great.
I want to add a YAHOO address and create a third tab in the client for sending and receiving yahoo mail.
Do I need a new profile to do this?
If I choose to use my existing gmail email will adding yahoo wipe out or delete my gmail accounts? Mozilla's interface is really confusing on this. If I do not want use gandi there is a button at the bottom of the dialogue box which says: "Skip this and use my existing email". I'd love to if the specific needs I have were addressed here. None of the help docs address this. Is adding a yahoo address an "existing email"? Seems to me adding Yahoo would be ADD A NEW ADDRESS FROM ANOTHER SERVICE PROVIDER. This is where the confusion starts. God software UX can be dreadful.
I'd love a clean, easy-to-understand answer.

I cannot access my Yahoo Email account or my Netflix account using Firefox.

When I am in Firefox I cannot access my Yahoo! email accounts nor can I sign in to my Netflix account. These I can do in Internet Explorer (which I prefer not to use).

Sorry, I had missed that you are on a Mac.
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
* Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
* Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
If clearing the cookies doesn't help then it is possible that the file cookies.sqlite that stores the cookies is corrupted.
Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete cookies.sqlite-journal and cookies.txt, if they exist, in the Firefox Profile Folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.

Cannot add a new email account

I have 3 email accounts set up in my iPhone: one Exchange and two Google accounts. Today I tried to add a Road Runner account and got to the screen to enter my user info and password. I enter that info and click save. Then the phone exits the screen and goes to the home page. I tried it 3 times and got the same error. I was never given the option to enter the server addresses. What could be causing this error?

I cannot add a particular email account. The same email was working before.

I had programmed my iPhone to receive email from my business website. It was fine for the longest of time. However, now it does not work. I have tried POP, IMAP, even disabled SSL.
My incoming and outgoing server is the same.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You are not setting up the app to access your exchange email, so your username or password is not needed. This email address is used to send you an activation code to activate the app.
The app can find printers on your local network, but not if you are away.
If you want be able to print when you are out of the office (to a printer in the office), it would be best to set up eprint first (turn on web service on the printer and sign up with eprint service), you will need an email address as login id on hpconnected.com (and that's why in the message it suggests to use an existing email address that used for hpconnected.

I tried the 'other' tab, using smtp, imap, etc. But I either get the 'Server Unavailable' message or 'Username and/or password is incorrect.'

I can't set up one particular Yahoo email account but other Yahoo email accounts work fine.

When I try to add one of my Yahoo email accounts to my iPhone it says "Server Unavailable Please try again later". But I am able to log in to this Yahoo email account successfully from my iMac via Safari and I am also able to add other Yahoo email accounts to the iPhone. It's an iPhone 4 that was just migrated from iPhone 3GS. I've tried both on an iPhone 4 and 4S. It worked fine on the previous iPhone 3GS.

Choose a slighly different name for the "Name" field, and try to add your Email and Password again.

hello, this is a scam tactic that is trying to trick you into installing malware, so don't download or execute this kind of stuff! as you've rightly mentioned, you're already using the latest version of firefox installed and you can always initiate a check for ''updates in firefox > help > about firefox''.
you might also want to run a full scan of your system with the security software already in place and different tools like the [http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free free version of malwarebytes], [http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/ adwcleaner] & [http://www.kaspersky.com/security-scan kaspersky security scan] in order to make sure that there isn't already some sort of malware active on your system that triggers these false alerts.

Cannot attach files to Yahoo email account since new Safari installed

Hello. I don’t know why, but since I installed the new Safari update, I’ve been having trouble attaching files to my Yahoo email account. The entire Safari just sort of freezes. I can’t even click on anything.
Another minor but irritating problem since the installment: sometime video clips cannot be played (like on Youtube). I would have to quit and reopen to get to usual condition.
Anyone know how to solve these problems? Thanks!

The problem is BrowserPlus. It's not compatible with Safari 5.

If you don't want to do that, you revert to the previous version of Safari, instructions here.

I am unable to log into my yahoo email account on my Mac OS X. This is very sudden. I have been able to for 6 years. I CAN access on a PC. I have never had this problem. I have never set up the mail program on Mac OS X.

No, it will not affect anything but Safari. I do this regularly anyway (in my case with Firefox because I prefer it over Safari). The cache remembers websites you've visited and, when internet connections were slow, then that was handy because the browser would reload the page from memory instead of reloading it fresh. With faster internet connections today, it is no longer of the same importance - it does speed up things a bit initially, but I haven't noticed any difference. Cookies are set by every site you visit - the only ones you might want to keep are cookies from your bank, financial institution, etc so they remember your machine when you log in. Other than that, they are a marketing tool and completely superfluous. And history is again something the computer remembers that you've visited a site before.
