Cannot build because cannot find Aspen.platform

I downloaded the iPhone SDK and installed. I tried to build one of the sample programs, but it will not build.
I get the following error. I cannot figure out what is going on.

I can't reproduce the problem now, but had a similar problem after switching to the newer iPhone SDK. If you enter Edit Project Settings then at the top, in the section titled Architectures, there is a listing +Base SDK+. I think in version one of the SDK this had a value of Aspen.platform, but for the newer SDK this should be changed to the more simply named "+Simulator - iPhone OS 2.0+". The code should then compile.
Hope that works, given that I can't test it.

  • Can't build jade package, /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lsp

Hello everyone (my first post here )
I installed Archlinux because of it's ease of use when compiling the whole system (compared to Gentoo and others), I have my first install of Archlinux, and began to compile all packages in the system using the pacbuilder community script (note I havn't use the testing repositories when installing packages).
Some packages compiles well but when it comes to the jade package it fails, I got the following error:

    thanks

    Thank you Allan,
It worked when changing the PKGBUILD within the jade folder in /tmp/pacbuilder/build, but I must change this file after that pacbuilder made the folder and before the building process begin (you have a shore time to edit, and it is not practical when building the whole system) is it any better ide like editing another file in ABS..?

  • Error "cannot find terminal hotpoint in wire..." during application build.

    Hello,
I'm trying to compile a TestStand 2.0.1 Custom LabVIEW Operator Interface with the LabVIEW 6.1 application builder. During the build process I get six(6) error prompts 'cannot find terminal hotpoint in wire...' and the builder stops and prompts another error that says the one of the VI's 'is not executable'. However, I can open the VI and there are no errors on it and no asterisk on the titlebar. There is only one strange thing I noticed in the VI Hierarchy browser, where for this VI and some others, it display an untitled (new) VI not connected to anything (!?) that does not appear in the block diagram. If you reopen the VI, the mysterious VI is gone.
The interesting thing is that I can successfully build the application if I try it with another Windows XP sp2 computer with the same exact LabVIEW and TestStand versions. Could anyone help me out here and let know what this error means. I can't find any reference to it here or in google. Thanks!

Thanks  to Kevin in tech support for investigating these errors. I did find after much work one of the VI's that is causing the "terminal hotpoint in wire..." error. It's a GET EXE STRINGS.VI in the custom OI. I have screen shots of it, but I don't know how to load them here... Anyway, it appears to happen on this particular VI because it has more than 20 connector pain terminals, but not all of the connections appear to be setup in the connector pane. However, this does not prevent the VI or the calling VI (TestStand - Execution Display) from running normally or even displaying a broken arrow (Why Not?). I changed the VI and removed the unused connections and the problem seems to be gone. I still need to find one more VI that is doing this. I also don't know why my Laptop is able to build the OI application OK w/o errors and other PC's always stop the application builder because of these errors.
Any other insight on this issue is greatly appreciated. Thanks,
    David A. Gaud

  • Cannot find row from context to build the RowKey

    I have a table with 8 attributes!
6 attributes are varchar2(20), so the input is just in textfields, the other 2 are booleans varchar2(1)!
To select the boolean I made 2 comboboxes with the displayvalues Yes/No and datavalues Y/N!
When I change 1 of the 6 attributes with the textfield, everything goes fine, but when I want to edit 1 of the 2 boolean attributes I get the following error:
oracle.jbo.JboException: Cannot find row from context to build the RowKey
The strangest thing is that all the settings from the attributes are the same and also the code in the dataeditcomponent.
Does anyone knows what the error means and especially how to solve it!?
If I change a boolean value the change is saved, but the error comes before you can see the changes!

    Hi Steve,
    thanks for your help.
These are my steps to build the application:
    0.) JDev 904, WindowsXP, IE6.x, FireBird 0.7
1.) New Project and Wizard 'New Business Components Package',
only DeptImpl, default VO and default AppModule
2.) New Project, Wizard 'Complete Struts-Based JSP Application'
    only default settings
3.) Customize config of AppModule: Referenced Pool Size = 1
4.) Start application, connect with two different browsers (IE and firebird)
5.) Browse page DeptView1_Browse with both browsers
    1. Browser: Link Edit --> edit&update attribute Loc of Dept 10 (no commit)
    2. Browser: Link Edit --> edit (no update) attribute Loc of Dept 20
6.) 2. Browser: update ==> Error Message: Cannot find row from context to build the RowKey
I have also tested JDev 9034/9033 with no error :-)
I have build the same application in JDev 10g with ADF (no migration from other projects)
and ran into another error message (same steps as above):
    JBO-29000: Unexpected exception caught: java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException, msg=null
I don't know if my ADF-Struts project is assembled correctly but it works with just one session.
My intention to set Referenced Pool Size = 1 was to test my code against some session releated bugs.
I wanted to associate user information like name, role and PK with the SessionCookie instance (during login), via
SessionCookie.setUserData(myInfos). The Information is used in VOs to get only the user related data
and in EOs to store the real user name in an attribute like modifiedby/createdby
(I use Tomcats as deployment platform):
    getApplicationModule().getSession().getUserData() -or-
    getDBTransaction().getSession().getUserData()
Is there a better way to link own data to a 'session' on the level of business components?
    Can you reproduce my results?
    Ciao Markus

If you purchased Lion for your iMac, just log into the Mac App Store from your MacBook using the Apple ID under which you purchased Lion and go to the Purchases page. You will be able to download and install Lion there.
searching the internet i found a link to upgrtade to 10.7
The only place you get get Lion is from the Mac App Store. If you found some other site, that was an illegal copy and almost certainly tied to someone else's Apple ID and hence unusable by you. If the link was just to the Mac App Store, see above.
As to the problem with synchronization to iCloud, that's not a 10.6 question, so I'd suggest you take up that specific issue in either the Lion or iCloud forums, providing full details, and someone there can probably help you sort things out.
    Regards.

If you made backups of all of your photos and your catalog file using some third-party method (i.e. not using the PSE catalog backup command), then you should be able to restore everything.
Step 1. Put the photos in the EXACT SAME LOCATION as before. For example, if they were in subfolders of C:\Users\<username>\Documents, then they must go into the exact same subfolders of C:\Users\<username>\Documents.
Step 2. Move the catalog file to wherever you want it to be, and then double-click on it.

    $fileStream.Close();
Again, I can run this on my local machine and it works just fine, but when I attempt to run it on the Azure environment I get this error...
Get-Item : Cannot find path 'C:\powershellscripts\12653_B7045.PDF' because it does not exist.

What strikes me first is the fact that the file its looking for is in the "C:\Upload\Test Upload\My Documents\" directory, but the error keeps saying "C:\powershellscripts\" which is where my script resides and not the files I want to
upload into SharePoint. When I step through the code, all the variables are holding the correct values. The $localFolderPath shows the name of files that I am attempting to upload, so it recognizes them. But once I step through this particular line of code,
    the error occurs...
    $files = ([System.IO.DirectoryInfo] (Get-Item $localFolderPath)).GetFiles()
Is this an error caused because I am remoting into the Azure environment? Has anyone dealt with this issue before? I would really appreciate the help. Thanks
Update: quick thing I noticed is that these two lines of code are returning null values. Again, is this handled differently in Azure or remotely? I ask cause this is the way I know how to do this, locally.
    $docLibrary = $web.Lists[$docLibraryName]
    $files = ([System.IO.DirectoryInfo] (Get-Item $localFolderPath)).GetFiles()

"...square brackets are wildcard characters in Windows PowerShell..."
When you use cd without a parameter it uses the -Path parameter. In this case you'll have to escape the square brackets so they are not considered wildcards. Each of the commands in the first example does the exact same thing.
    cd 'Learn PowerShell `[Do Whatever`]'
cd -Path 'Learn PowerShell `[Do Whatever`]'
cd (or Set-Location) also has a literal path parameter (-LiteralPath) that does not require using an escape character (`) before each of the brackets. Hope this helps.
cd -LiteralPath 'Learn PowerShell [Do Whatever]'

    H,
Since upgrading Windows server 2008 R2 to Server 2012 Standard edition, we get this repetitious critical error in the event log:
    Event 1001
    Op Code NLS initialization
The NLS operation failed because the registry key Control Panel\International\User Profile cannot be opened. Error code is 2. Error message: The system cannot find the file specified.
We originally found that the regional date settings after changing them in regional settings (DD/MM/YYYY) and they did not inherit properly from the upgrade but they are ok now.
I've looked at HKCU\.Default\Control Panel\International and nothing looks obviously wrong. Country codes, time & date formats are correct.
How do we ascertain the  cause of this error and the specific registry key that might be problematic?

    Hi,
This could be caused by firewall rules or security softwares.

  • The operation failed because of a protection agent failure. (ID 998 Details: The system cannot find the path specified (0x80070003))

    Hello,
We are getting the following error when trying to backup our fileserver (DPM 2012 R2) to tape.
"The operation failed because of a protection agent failure. (ID 998 Details: The system cannot find the path specified (0x80070003))"
    What is interesting:
    - The "Short-Term Protection" to disk runs successfully without error
    - The "Long-Term Protection" to tape fails after writing ~2TB of data to a TL2000 tape loader. (Always appears to fail towards end of job with the above error)
    - In the past (until roughly a month ago) the tape portion of this job was completing successfully.
The DPM logs fail to give much information around the time of error regarding any failures. Likewise windows event logs give no hint of a problem when the job fails.
Looking for any ideas that may help resolve this.
    Cheers!

[Bulk Insert Task] Error: An error occurred with the following error message: "Cannot bulk load because the file "C:\Deployment\Files\temp.txt" could not be opened. Operating system error code 3(The system cannot find the path specified.).".

I think i know whats going on. The Bulk Insert task runs by executing sql command (bulk insert) internally from the target sql server to load the file. This means that the SQL Server Agent of the target sql server should have permissions on the file you trying to load. This also means that you need to use UNC path instead to specify the file path (if the target server in on different machine)
Also from BOL (see section Usage Considerations - last bullet point)
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms141239.aspx
    * Only members of the sysadmin fixed server role can run a package that contains a Bulk Insert task.
Make sure you take care of this as well.
