Cannot call SPSOLVE routines from Fortran 95

I am not able to call the SPSOLVE routines from fortran 95. I am using OPENSUSE and also OPENSOLARIS.
I also tried with the example 6-1 (example_1call.f) from the Sun Performance Library user guide.
I compiled the program with the .f extension (so f77 format) and it works.
I then transformed the program to an .f95 program and also added USE SUNPERF under program.
I then typed
f95 -dalign example.f95 -xlic_lib=sunperf
and I received
example.f95:(.text+0x2af): undefined reference to `dgssfs_'
example.f95:(.text+0x2d7): undefined reference to `dgssda_'
I would be grateful if somebody could help me.
Thank you.
Victor

In step #1, type in your e-mail address and click "Download Now"
You are then taken to a "Download Options" page. Choose Option 2 which is "Download Tarfile Installer"
This allows non-root access to install. And you can install anywhere you wish. So you don't have to
un-install your Studio 12 version.

  • Is it possible to call Java routines from FMS?

    Say I have a game package, most of which
    are written in Java. I am thinking
    to leave the core logics in Java, but
    change the user interface into Flash,
    and serve it over FMS. Now is it
    possible to call Java routines from
    FMS?
    I'd appreciate any suggestions.

    Yes! You can use SOAP(or XML-RPC) to call Java routines.
    Relevant link:

    Btw, does anyone know if there is XML-RPC package for
    FMS?

  • Calling C routines from Java

    I'm trying to call OPM APIs which were written on C code using Java. But, I'm not sure if there is a way to do that without referring to a shared library.
    Is there an easy way to execute/call C routines direclty from Java? We know How to do that from PL/SQL. I beleive that I should be using JNI, Is that rigth?
    Thanks

    You are correct, you'll need to use JNI to invoke the C functions from a shared library.

  • Translating call-by-reference from Fortran

    I have been asked to translate some Fortran code to Java with minimal redesign.
    I believe Java uses call-by-value and not call-by-reference, right?
    What are my best options for translating the many call-by-reference subroutines and functions?

    If you insist, then you can wrap objects up in a sort-of container, which can get you PBR-type semantics, but it's clunky. Eg
    class StringRef  {
      private String payload;
      public String toString() { return payload; }
      public void setPayload(String string) { payload = string; }
    public void passMeAString(StringRef string) {
      // do stuff;
    }You can reach into the StringRef object and change it's effective value. But then all code dealing with it, whether it needs PBR semantics or not, is either coupled to this StringRef class, or is peppered with code to lift the actual string in and out of StringRef objects. Or you could deal with single-element arrays everywhere, which isn't really any better.
    Messy, a maintenance nightmare, a haven for bugs. I'd really be looking at solving the problem without using pass-by-reference, if you don't want to have a nervous breakdown.
    Another thing to consider is that simply shoehorning your existing Fortran through a Java compiler means you're also inheriting all the bugs and the convoluted messy code from fixing bugs that you'd probably rather not. I seriously wouldn't try to do this, just infer the requirements from the Fortran code and start again. You might well even find that there already exist Java libraries that can replace some of your code.

  • Cannot call AS3 Function from JavaScript

    Hi,
    I am trying to call an ActionScript 3 function with JavaScript. The problem I cannot seem to get any of the browsers to trigger this AS3 function. The debuggers say that the function is undefined when I call it on the flash object.
    What is supposed to happen is - the javascript function calls the AS3 function, and passes it an integer value.   That integer is then used to pull one of 20 swfs, and load that into the flash movie.
    Please let me know if you guys can think of anything that I can do to make this work!  I've been stuck for hours, and can't seem to make it happen.
    Here is my actionScript:
    import flash.net.URLRequest;
    import flash.display.Loader;
    import flash.external.ExternalInterface;
    var movies:Array = ["idle-ok.swf", "idle-good.swf"];
    // It first loads this "hello swf".
    var helloLoader:Loader = new Loader();
    var helloURL:URLRequest = new URLRequest("idleAvatar.swf");
    helloLoader.load(helloURL);
    addChild(helloLoader);
    var setAvatar:Function = loadAvatar;
    ExternalInterface.addCallback("callSetAvatar", setAvatar);
    // Then, this function should be called by JavaScript to load one of the other swfs.
    function loadAvatar(indx:Number){
        var url:URLRequest = new URLRequest(movies[0]);
        var ldr:Loader = new Loader();
        ldr.load(url);
        addChild(ldr);
    Here is my JavaScript:
    <script type="text/javascript">
    function callExternalInterface(val) {
              document.getElementById("loader").callSetValue(val);
    </script>
    Here is my embed code:
    <div>
    <object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" width="250" height="350" id="loader" name="loader">
    <param name="movie" value="loader.swf" />
    <param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" />
    <!--[if !IE]>-->
    <object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="loader.swf" width="250" height="350">
    <param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" />
    <!--<![endif]-->
    <a href="http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer">
    <img src="http://www.adobe.com/images/shared/download_buttons/get_flash_player.gif" alt="Get Adobe Flash player" />
    </a>
    <!--[if !IE]>-->
    </object>
    <!--<![endif]-->
    </object>
    </div>
    <a href="#" onClick="callExternalInterface(1)">CLICK</a>

    You don't appear to be calling any function in your actionscript.  The names between and within do not agree.
    document.getElementById("loader").callSetValue(val);
    should be calling a function identified with the string "callSetValue" in your actionscript, but you only have a function identified with "callSetAvatar"  and the function associated with that on your AS3 side is specified to be setAvatar...
    ExternalInterface.addCallback("callSetAvatar", setAvatar);
    but you do not have a function named setAvatar, you have one named loadAvatar
    Here's a link to a tutorial that might help you to see how the functions are specified between javascript and actionscript using the ExternalInterface class.  It gets confusing so I suggest you copy the code to a word processing file so you can clearly highlight where they have the same language between them.

  • Calling routine from SO10

    Hi All,
        While calling a routine from SO10, both input table and output table are empty, I have used in following way..
    /: DEFINE &PER& = &PTXT1-PERNR&
    /: PERFORM ADDRESS IN PROGRAM ZHR_OFFER
    /: USING PER
    /: CHANGING &P0001-PERNR&

    /: ENDPERFORM
    In routine (ABAP)
    FORM ADDRESS tables in_tab structure itcsy out_tab structure itcsy.
      Data:   v_name2 like p0006-name2,  " C/O
              v_stras like p0006-stras.  " Street/House no
      read table in_tab index 1.
      if sy-subrc = 0.
    EndForm.
    Here both in_tab and out_tab are empty while debugging i found that (in std program, which is calling routine)
    perform (co_perform-form) in program (co_perform-program)
                              tables co_sym_using
                                     co_set_symbols
    Here co_perform-form is filled with ADDRESS and
         co_perform-program is filled with ZHR_OFFER, but
         co_sym_using, co_set_symbols tables are empty.
    Since these tables are empty, values are not getting passed from SO10 to ABAP, Your input on this please.
    Thanks,

    Hi,
    Try this out ....
    In Routine:-
    <b>/: PERFORM ADDRESS IN PROGRAM ZHR_OFFER

    if sy-subrc = 0.
    pass the values to the fields

    read table out_tab index 1.
    out-tab-value = 'pass the value'.

    EndForm.

  • How to call JSP function from onClick Action

    Hi
    I am trying to call a jsp function, onclick of a checkbox. This jsp function will in turn connect to the database and gets related information. I dont want to submit the data inorder to avoid posting and getting of huge data. Is there a simple way to call a jsp function from the users onClick action.
    Appreciate anyones help!!!
    Thanks alot
    Joe

    So, i have to submit the form to call the jsp function. Basically yes.
    Sorry for the shortness of the answer, but I am pretty sure we have had this conversation (or one very much like it) before.
    Java/JSP runs on the server, generates an html page, and stops running.
    Javascript runs on the client in the web browser, once the page is loaded.
    You cannot call java code from javascript.
    The only way you can run java code again is to make a request - either by submitting a form, or clicking a link.
    If you don't want to refresh the current page, you CAN get tricky with javascript and multiple frames. You submit to another frame, and when it loads, it uses javascript onload event to call back and modify the main frame. Its tricky to get going, and very easy to break, so I don't normally recommend it.
    Good luck,

  • How to call external Perl routines from Pl/SQL - Urgent

    Available software in the Test Environment:
    1. Sun Unix 2.8
    2. Oracle 8.1.7 ( 8i)
    3. Perl 5
    Iam trying to call/execute perl scripts from PL/SQL using the DEMO_RDBMS.mk. I am able to call C scripts from PL/SQL, but actually want to call Perl scripts.
    The steps followed for for C are -
    1. Create and compile a simple C program to execute a unix command (eg., touch a file).
    2. Make a shared library of the above compiled program (object), i.e., load the compiled object module into a dynamic load library.
    3. Declare the above library in Oracle using SQL*Plus.
    4. Define a PL/SQL function or procedure to call the external routine.
    5. Test the external routine.
    The above steps run good for a C program, but step 2 fails when run for a Perl script.
    When I tried to use the following command for step 2 -
    make -f $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/demo/demo_rdbms.mk extproc_callback \
    SHARED_LIBNAME=cmd_lib.so \
    OBJS=tst_cmd.pl
    got the following error -
    ld: fatal: file tst_cmd.pl: unknown file type.
    ld: fatal: File processing errors. No output written t cmd_lib.so
    *** Error code 1
    This gives me an indication that demo_rdbms.mk does not understand/interpret Perl scripts. Going through the demo_rdbms.mk suggests the same.
    My questions is - How do we call external Perl scripts/routines from PL/SQL ??
    Do I have to get a different version of "demo_rdbms.mk" ?
    PS: The perl scripts used above (tst_cmd.pl) is error free and works as intended in the unix environment.

    Iam trying to call/execute perl scripts from PL/SQL using the DEMO_RDBMS.mk. I am able to call C scripts from PL/SQL, but actually want to call Perl scripts. Well, C is a "compiler" language and Perl is interpreted. In a sense, C is not "scripts".
    When I tried to use the following command for step 2 -
    make -f $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/demo/demo_rdbms.mk extproc_callback \
    SHARED_LIBNAME=cmd_lib.so \
    OBJS=tst_cmd.pl
    got the following error -
    ld: fatal: file tst_cmd.pl: unknown file type.
    ld: fatal: File processing errors. No output written t cmd_lib.soI guess this compiles an extproc "stub" with your object file, generating an external procedure. So the object file really needs to be an object file :-)
    My questions is - How do we call external Perl scripts/routines from PL/SQL ??I'd guess you need an embedded Perl interpreter in the external procedure.
    Not much help though I'm afraid :-/
    Cheers

    Thank you for your suggestion.
    I tried it, but got the same result. I think the difference in the syntax is due to the Oracle versus SQL92 standard
    conformance. Your statament is the Oracle version and mine is the SQL92. I think both statements are acceptable
    by the Oracle.

  • I can call from Branch through Gatekeeper to CUCM. But cannot call from CUCM through Gatekeeper to any Branche.

    Hello All,
    I can Call from any Branch office to CUCM through Gatekeeper. But I cannot call from CUCM through Gatekeeper to any Branch.
    My CUCM version is 9.1.2
    Regards
    Bahlul

    Do you see anything shw up on the debugs on the branch router?
    Check debug h225 asn1 to see if there is a setup coming from the CUCM. If not, that means the CUCM is not receiving the IP address of the branch gateway from the GK. This could mean a config issue on the GK with respect to the branch gateways, or on the UCM.
    Take debug gatekeeper main 10 from the gatekeeper. These debugs will show what's happening on the GK while processing the incoming ARQ from CUCM.
    Also please upload the config of the GK, branch gateway here.
