Cannot change number of rows in layout set

I have created a layout set with a custom Collection Grid Renderer to show XML forms news items. I have changed the <i>number of rows</i> property to <i>3</i> to set the number of items to display to 3, but only one item is displayed.
I have changed this setting successfully before. Does anyone know why this is happening?
Thanks in advance!

Is there really nobody out there who faced this problem?
Please help!

  • Changing number of rows oin a table control dynamically

    Hi all
    Is there a way to change the no of rows dynamically.
    I have a requirement that at run time , depending on a condition, I have to change the no of rows in the table control to 1 row.
    Is this possible to do?If else How?
    Thanks.

    You can redefine table control attributes eachtime PBO is called, because those attributes are dynamic. So although you defined tc-lines as 1 in first PBO execution, you can redefine to 2 if some condition is achieved,
    One idea could be to create a global var, called tc_lines which is initialized as 1. In your PBO you shoud use: <tc>-lines = tc_lines.
    In PAI, when you obtain your condition, you shoud here add or subract one from this global variable.

  • Change number of rows in table in PCUI

    Hello,
    is there any way to increase the number of lines displayed in a table in PCUI? My customer asked whether it was possible to display more than 5 products in the application Sales Order on the General Data tab, and so far I have not found a way to change this.
    Thanks
    Thomas

    Hi Thomas,
       You have the possibility in portal to expand the result list.
       The numer of the list has a hardcode, you can change it with a modification of standard in metod FILL_DISPLAY_TABLE of class CL_CRM_BSP_FRAME_SRET.

  • How to get the total number of rows in result set?

    Using JDBC and mysql

    There is no method to directly obtain the count of the resultset.
    int count = 0;
    while( rs.next() )
        count++;
    }Another way,
    Use a [Scrollable ResultSet|http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/docs/api/java/sql/ResultSet.html]
    stmt = conn.createStatement(ResultSet.TYPE_SCROLL_INSENSITIVE, ResultSet.CONCUR_READ_ONLY);
    //Get the resultset
    rs.last();
    rs.getRow();

  • Number of rows in a report, can it only bee set at creation time?

    I'm unable to change how pagiation work for a report. If I create a report with the default setting, it will show 15 rows as expected. However if I edit the page, go into the report and change the "Number of Rows" it seems to have no effect. I set it to 999 but the report still only shows the first 15 rows. If I delete the report, recreate it and select 999 as the number of rows when I create the report it works perfect. Looking at the edit page the only change I can see is that "Number of Rows" now is set to 999. How come it has no effect when I do it after creation time?
    Is this a bug? Or am I doing this the wrong way? Is there another workaround than recreating the report.

    Hi Marius,
    I faced the same issue couple of times before. I changed the number of rows to show but even then it showed 15 rows. I refreshed the report, but no change. Then I logged out and closed the browser, re-opened it and ran the report again, now it showed correct number of rows. But I never needed to recreate a report for this reason.

  • How to check changes made in standerd layout set

    Hi abaper's
    How to check the changes made in the standard layout set , other than using Utilities--- -> Print preveiw ?

    Hi,
    In ABAP there is no chance to check the version managment of the script , the better option to get this is to develop a small tool  as follows:-
    Every time u release the request of a script or layout just import that layout with (layoutname_request) no in application server. and using this RSTXFCOM program u can check transported one with existing.
    Note: Everytime while checking transported one make it a local layout in RSTXFCOM we can check two layout differences.
    Thanks

  • Number of rows in Record Working Time.

    Hello Guru's,
    IN ESS- Record Working Time - the number of rows visible are set to 8 in the Web Dynpro Java Code.
    I had a look at the Note:
    Note 957741 - Few lines in the data entry grid of the timesheet webdynpro
    The question I had is to have more than 8 rows visible, is it Java Code modification or any other alternative to change the number of Visible Row....
    Please reply back asap.
    Thanks in advance for your time.
    Best Regards,
    Pramod

    Hi Siddharth,
    Thanks for the reply.
    Looks like if need to change the no of rows need to do the WDJ code modifications.
    Interesting to know the other details in the message.
    But in the reply the interface you mentioned what for that is used,
    Since when checked the where used list of the attribute it calls ADD_INITIAL_LINES_TO_TIMESHEET even in the debug it is not allowing to do the changes to value which is 6 by default.
    Since the value is constant it cannot be changed.
    what was your intention when you gave that reply, curious to know how would it solve the issue.
    And one other questions In the Java Code
    ListViewerSlim listViewer =
                        new ListViewerSlim(
                             view,
                             wdThis.getRFC_FieldList_Timesheet(),
                             "TimesheetData",
                   //               listViewer.destroyAllColumnHeaders();   //XZQ110505
                   theTable = listViewer.getTableControl();
                   theTable.setVisibleRowCount(8); //Note SOW_957741
                   //               theTable.setHeader(null);      //XZQ110505
    it is set to 8 why is it different in both the cases.
    Since, when we login to the Portal it shows no of rows visible as 8 not 6 as it is in the interface?
    any thoughts on this.
    Kind Regards,
    Pramod

  • Number Of rows invisible ? in pagination

    hi,
    My info :
    Oracle 11g
    Application Express 3.2.1.00.12
    Maybe this is a newbie question, but nowhere i can see the "number of rows" field in the Report Attributes > Pagination.
    I do see "Maximum Row Count", but not the Number of rows displayed on a single page.
    I checked the documentation
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/database/application_express/howtos/howto_report_rownum.html
    And its supposed to be there, but not on my version.
    Also i see in the documentation the part is called "Layout and Pagination", but its just called Pagination for me.
    Could anyone point me to where i can set the number of rows displayed on a single page of a report ?
    Thanks

    Thank you Pedro for your answer, but the problem is: i cannot find "Number of Rows " in the Pagination area (read my post ;) )
    I have been looking everywhere for it, i looked on all documentations, it SHOULD be here, but unfortunately, i dont see it.
    Here are the fields visible in Pagination :
    Pagination
    Pagination Type
    Pagination Display Position
    Show Null Values as
    Maximum Row Count
    When more than maximum row data found message

  • 0ANALYZER Web Template - increase number of Rows displayed

    Hello All,
    Is there a context menu command / popup value  that will allow an end-user to increase the *default* number of Rows displayed at a time (25)  when we are using the 0ANALYZER Web template?
    We have about 100 characteristics anyway, so setting the displayed "chunks" of Rows to say 50 at a time would be quite reasonable.
    We do not want to customise 0ANALYZER web template (and therefore any solution to add any extra buttons/JScript won't be acceptable)
    Any ideas 0ANALYZER experts?
    Thanks
    Ian

    Hi Ian,
    My suggestion is that you make a copy of 0ANALYZER_PATTERN web template say ZANALYZER_PATTERN and make this your default web template. Now in the properties of your analysis grid of ZANALYZER_PATTERN, you can change the number of displayed columns and rows. But again this will be appplied to all web queries using this template.
    If you want to change number of rows and columns dynamically, why not ask SAP netweaver team.
    Thanks.

  • How to get the number of rows in a DB-Cursor

    When i open a database cursor i do not know how much rows are stored in the cursor. To solve this problem i have to send a 'select count(1) ...' to get the number of rows before i set up the cursor. I think that this is not very clever and could possibly cause performance problems. But i need the num of rows to show the percentage of processed rows. Is there any other way to get the num of rows? May be by checking the cursor directly?
    Please help!
    Thanx a lot

    In order to find out how may rows are going to be processed, oracle has to visit every row. So with a cursor, there is no property that will accurately reflect the number of rows until you get to the last one. That said, you could use
    select count(*) over() as row_count, <rest of your columns> FROM <your table>
    which will give you the total row count agaist each row in the result set. There are performance penalties involved but they will be less than issuing the query twice, once to get the count and once to get the rows.
    Have a look on asktom for some very usefull info about all this.

    make your result set scrollable...Not such a good idea. With Oracle, the JDBC driver will read and cache all the ResultSet in memory (with other DBMSs/drivers the behavior will probably be different, but you will still have some unnecessary overhead).
    You can do the caching yourself if you think it's worth it. If the piece of code you posted is why you need this for, then use a List or Vector and you won't need to know the size upfront.

    My iCloud account is grayed out on my iPad and iPhone and I cannot change it.  It was previoudly set up as my email account that I no longer have access to.  I was apple to change my Apple ID, but not the iCloud account.  How can I change it?

    If your new ID was changed (renamed) from your old ID rather than being an entirely new ID, recreate it by going to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.
