Cannot connect to Linux BPELPM 10.1.2

Hi All, After installing the production Linux release on RedHat 2.4.21-20.ELsmp I ran irca.sh to populated a localhost 10.1.0.3 DB. Changed the data-source entries to point ot this DB and fired up the BPELPM. JDEV fails on testing the connection to the BPELPM with:
org.apache.soap.SOAPException:Unsupported response content type "text/html", must be: "text/xml". Response was:
<HTML><HEAD><TITLE>500 Internal Server Error</TITLE></HEAD><BODY><H1>500 Internal Server Error</H1><PRE>Servlet error: Cannot generate Class: IOException in compile: java.io.IOException: Cannot allocate memory
</PRE></BODY></HTML>
The BPELConsole comes up OK. I'm still going thru the doc but is there something I missed here?

Still no succes..
I am missing some references to java classes/libraries in OC4J_BPEL? BPELadmin consol and the deployment of processes work fine. So it should not be to difficult to get the remote connection running, should it?
My log shows the following:

  • Deploytool cannot connect to linux server

    HELP !!!
    I'm trying to deploy an application from a Windows 2K machine onto a linux server on a small home network, but deploytool cannot connect to the server.
    When I try File->AddServer it says 'cannot connect... please contact your server admin...' However, it works if i try to deploy locally on either machine.
    I'm running a Samba network with static addresses on Redhat 7.1, and also with J2sdkee1.3 on both machines(Linux and Win2K). The machines on the network all ping each other successfully using both ip addresses and machine names.
    I will greatly appreciately any help. Thanx in advance
    Kawsu

    I have the J2SDKEE-1.3.1 installed on a linux RedHat 6.2 machine as well as a Win2K machine. The deploy tool can connect to localhost on either machine but when I try to deploy across the network the deploytool appears to connect and then sit there and do nothing. If I then stop the server the deploytool will issue an error and remove the server from the server list. Based on this it appears to be connecting to the linux machine. Also I see no significant network traffic while it is sitting there.
    If anyone has any information on this could you please reply to [email protected]

  • Connect to Linux 8.1.5 from NT

    I am running NT as my client and have just
    set up Oracle 8.1.5.0.2 on Red Hat 6.1. The NT client can successfully connect to an Oracle 6 database and an Oracle7 database (I am connect to Orale7 via Net8). I cannot connect to the Linux database at all (TNS: could not resole service name).
    Could someone help me solve this dilema? Do I need a newer client version (I am running
    version 8.0.5 client on NT)? Maybe I just have botched my .ora files?
    TIA

    I have the same problem. Oracle 8.1.5 is running fine on a Linux RH 6.1 server. I can't connect via a NT client, although the oracle enterprise manager can.
    Does anyone has an example of a NT tnsnames.ora. If so, send to [email protected]

    I am totally lost... What is going on here?
    Any help is highly appreciated!
    James

    but I can ping the server and ssh to the server from my laptop...certain ports can be opened through FireWall while all others remain closed.
    Listener accepts initial connection request on Port #1521 & then completes request on random high port
    use of Wire Shark or similar packet sniffer can answer the mystery

  • Internal Users cannot connect to SSO

    We are in the process of implementing Oracle Application Server SSO with our custom Forms application using Oracle database -- all 10.2.0.1 version. We are using JInitiator 1.3.1.22.
    Our development team has been working offsite connecting via a VPN connection. They have no problem accessing the SSO page, logging in and using/testing the application.
    Developers that are in the building where the Linux servers are located are using the same address in the IE7 Browsers as the developers, but cannot connect.
    --They are getting the Security Certification error, which we are expecting because we installed a fake one for the development system.
    -- They click 'Continue to Website'
    -- Then they get the error "Internet Explorer cannot display Webpage"
    The address they are using is:
    https://devsys.abc.com:4444/forms/frmservlet?config=MainForm
    We verified that the Domain Name Server is setup correctly.
    Any help, direction and/or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks.

    Take a look at this thread Test.fmx not running...How to run it
    It looks to me that your problem is related to the firewall, you have to get your network team involved so that they can check the traffic flow ...
    There should be at least two accesses, one for the SSO server (infrastructure server) and another one for the Forms server ... they can sniff the traffic from one of the PCs where its failing and troubleshoot further...
    Just like Michael said (in the thread above there) , just because you can ping to a server does not mean that the port that you need is open or that the traffic to that port is not being blocked...
    We had a similar problem, developers in one of building, a specific floor to be exact, were not able to connect to the Forms server but if they connected from another PC located in another floor in the same building they could, developers in another another building did not have problems, this is just to give you an example of how detailed the firewall rules can get ..
    In the end the network team detected that one of their firewall rules meant to block something else was also blocking the access to the Forms server for that specific floor ..

    - (orcl) Database Home /u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/dbhome_1
    - export ORACLE_HOME=/u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/dbhome_1/
    - export ORACLE_SID=orcl
    - Then cd $ORACLE_HOME

    Starting Oracle Enterprise Manager 11g Database Control ............. started.
    Logs are generated in directory /u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/dbhome_1/ora_orcl/sysman/log
    Result:
    - I can access database from Sqlplus
    - I can't access database from OEM
    - I noticed when I use this ./lsnrstas it takes long time to give me status after I start ./emctl start dbconsole
    My question which listener should I use ?? grid or dbhome
    and this is the content of emoms.trc I just post last three exceptions

  • Cannot  connect to file shares on Yosemite server v4.0

    I have a fairly new installation of a Mac Mini Server.  As a Linux specialist I find some of the things frustrating but the rest of the office has a much easier life as things just work. Except for file sharing. If I use finder, use the shared section of the to display the network, find my server and double click to open up file share options, it refuses and says it cannot connect. I then use Finder>Go>Connect to Server and enter the SMB Server name as smb://[SERVER_NAME]/ and it immediately connects and I can connect to all drives successfully.
    When I check the system.log after after the unsuccessful connect attemt using Finder, The following is in the log:

    If I connect using Finder>Go> Connect to Sever I get the same error but the difference is the file shares are visible in the "Select the volumes you want to mount box" and I can mount the shares with no additional errors successfully. Please excuse me I am not very graphically savvy with OS-X (or OS-X for that mater). (Happy with Solaris, OpenBSD or Linux) I am a command line junkie (deep linux dude). Struggling to find my way around some of the things Apple DO. I am not sure I like people taking some of my toys and levers away.
    Any clue how to solve this issue?

    I am using fully qualified domain names for all servers on my network.  I have multiple domains untold virtual machines etc and services everywhere as it is a dev environment.  I use smb://brtsrv00.identitylabs.uk/ and it works without fault. Still no authentication from the Finder discovery.  Sorry I am a bit knew to to OS-X even though I have used different MacBook's for over 7 years.  DO a lot of VMware Fusion server development so don't touch OS-X much.  By the way, the name is provided by DNS and both the forward reverse lookup is correct. (dig brtsrv00.identitylabs.uk and dig -x 10.0.1.3)

  • BAM Server stopped working - Cannot connect to the Oracle BAM services

    Hi,
    On logging into the OracleBAM page, I get Error 500 - Internal Server Error.
    Caused by: java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException
    Caused by: oracle.bam.common.remoting.ServiceUnavailableException: BAM-00223: Service "interface oracle.bam.adc.common.core.IDataStore" is unavailable.
    Caused by: oracle.bam.adc.api.exceptions.ServerUnavailableException: BAM-01261: Cannot connect to the Oracle BAM services.
    In the server startup log I find the following error before the server state changed to RUNNING
    BAM-01324: Unable to establish BAM administrator account.
    java.lang.Exception: BAM administrator account OracleSystemUser does not have administrator privileges.
    How do I fix this? Help Please!
    Also, is there a way to bring my BAM installation back to its vanilla state? Maybe run the Repository Creation Utility once more? Are there any files on the server that has to be cleaned?
    Thanks
    Alosh

    Hello SOA gurus,
    We're getting the same error as well. Our's a Linux environment and we've configured 2 managed servers (soa_server and bam_server)
    Log file for the bam_server throws up this error message periodically. Looks like the other server doesn't. Does this message pertain to only BAM server ? (I'm new to SOA suite).
    Also, is this a show stopper ? I've seen the managed server going down at times and wasn't sure if it was due to this error. Don't know if this error can be ignored or need to fix.
    Can someone help on how to fix this really soon please ?
    Thanks
    Muthu

  • Windows XP cannot connect/logon to my iMac that has 10.5.8

    I tried searching the forum and could not find this exact problem, so I hope I am not re-asking the same question....
    I just upgraded from a 7-year-old G4 system running Tiger, and am having issues logging in as a user from a PC to the new Leopard system.
    I am trying to logon/connect with my new (June 2009) iMac from a laptop running Windows XP Home, on my home network via AirPort. In Sharing, I have the "File Sharing" box ticked, and the AFP and SMB boxes ticked in the "Options" window, as well as the account that I want to be able to log in with. In the "Shared Folders" column, I have the hard drive and the user account listed, that I want shared. The permissions are set to Administrator(s) can read & write and everyone else can only read.
    On the XP system, in Workgroup, I can see the iMac, but when I double-click it, NO request for a username and password comes up. Instead you can see the shared folders, and navigate through them. However, you CANNOT open any files or folders, getting a error message saying that you do not have permissions for these networt resources and that access is denied.
    What is happening?
    I can still log in fine to the old Tiger system, and the Tiger system can log in fine to the Loepard system and vise-versa, but I CANNOT log into the Leopard system from the XP Home PC.
    I have looked around online and see mention of smb problems with Leopard, but no sure answers, that I can see.
    Please help - thanks in advance!

    Hello,
    I am having a similar issue with Mac OS 10.5.8.
    I upgraded about 1 week ago and since I cannot see my shared folders in the Finder, and I cannot connect to them anymore using SMB. On the other hand my TimeCapsule works fine.
    The first symptoms I noticed were that my Windows XP Pro shared folders were no more visible from the Finder. After checking it I tried to connect to them using the Apple+K command. There I can see the share, it asks me which disk I want to mount then when I select one, I get an error -6602.
    The weird thing is when I am at home I can see my timecapsule appearing directly in the Finder but not any other share.
    Also I have noticed it to be almost impossible to share folders from my Mac OS to other machines. We have a few Windows and Linux at work, I used to share data with them but now, it is impossible for them to see me, or access my shared folders. And this is not due to bad access right, I have checked a number of time.
    Anyone has any ideas on what do I do? or how I can solve this issue? I am considering just reinstalling the laptop completely but this is a huge time consuming job that I would rather not do!
    Thanks,
    Ced

  • Satellite Pro L300-1B9 cannot connect to my Wireless router

    Hi!
    I have activated the wireless nw on SAT L300 PRO 1B9 - but with many fight...
    First I needed to find the switch to enable (I never though that it have... :-) ).
    Then I needed to deinstall Atheros in Windows, and set the flags on (enable) in the Windows driver.
    But in both Linux and Windows I couldn't connect to my Wireless router.
    My luck was that some of my neightbours have security-disabled, open wireless network, what I could map to test.
    The test was succecfully with that network, but my wireless router was unreachable.
    From other machine I could reach it.
    The result was:
    If I set the router to broadcast the SSID, both OSs (Ubuntu + Windows) can use wireless network.
    But if I disable the broadcasting (to protect my router), the network driver cannot use my router, it does not matter I pre-set the SSID...
    A router is WRT54G, and it is working with other computers if I hide the SSID, but with SAT L300 Pro cannot connect (with this option).
    Do anybody knows why? What I need to do to I could hide the SSID from the bad guys?
    Thanks for any help!

    I dont know which Windows OS do you use but if you use original Vista, I think, right WLAN driver is part of the package. So WLAN card must be installed properly.
    It is not easy to say what is wrong there but if the notebook can see and detect your WLAN network on notebooks side everything must be OK. Try to restart your router and check all settings.
    In my opinion there is some problem with WLAN settings.

  • Dbstart works, but cannot connect

    Hi,
    this is my first post and I am new to oracle administration, but I think this is some kind of wierd:
    Here is dbstart output (works alright):
    SQL*Plus: Release 10.1.0.4.0 - Production on Mi Apr 13 19:18:19 2005
    Copyright (c) 1982, 2005, Oracle. All rights reserved.
    SQL> Bei einer nicht hochgefahrenen Instance angemeldet.
    SQL> ORACLE-Instance hochgefahren.
    Total System Global Area 524288000 bytes
    Fixed Size 779996 bytes
    Variable Size 326113572 bytes
    Database Buffers 197132288 bytes
    Redo Buffers 262144 bytes
    Datenbank mit MOUNT angeschlossen.
    Datenbank geöffnet.
    SQL> Verbindung zu Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.1.0.4.0 - Production
    With the Partitioning, OLAP and Data Mining options beendet
    Database "ora1" warm started.
    Here is my try to conenct with sqlplus:
    [oracle@pele ~]$ sqlplus / as sysdba
    SQL*Plus: Release 10.1.0.4.0 - Production on Mi Apr 13 19:20:02 2005
    Copyright (c) 1982, 2005, Oracle. All rights reserved.
    Bei einer nicht hochgefahrenen Instance angemeldet.
    This looks like my env settings are bad (but they are ok):
    [oracle@pele ~]$ env|grep -i ORACLE
    USER=oracle
    LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/u01/app/oracle/OraHome_1//lib
    ORACLE_SID=ora1
    ORACLE_BASE=/u01/app/oracle
    MAIL=/var/spool/mail/oracle
    PATH=/usr/kerberos/bin:/usr/local/bin:/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin:/home/oracle/bin:/u01/app/oracle/OraHome_1//bin
    PWD=/home/oracle
    HOME=/home/oracle
    LOGNAME=oracle
    ORACLE_HOME=/u01/app/oracle/OraHome_1/
    [oracle@pele ~]$
    And here is oratab, which corresponds to my env settings:
    [oracle@pele ~]$ cat /etc/oratab|grep ora1
    ora1:/u01/app/oracle/OraHome_1:Y
    So the problem is, dbstart seems to work, I can see all the oracle processes, the shared mem ... but I cannot connect to it. Manually starting the db per sqlplus works alright. But dbstart seems to do something on his own.
    Thanks...
    Oracle 10g, 10.1.0.4.0, Redhat EL4

    No, dbstart starts the database.
    This is after a 'dbstart' :

    So it is running.
    Can you elaborate on "10.1.0.4 is buggy under Linux"?
    Btw. I had the same error on 10.1.0.3.
    And this is alert.log:

    How can i fix it oder hidden the error messages?

    that filename doesn't look like a pacman package filename. If you want the pacman package, grab ftp://ftp.archlinux.org/extra/os/i686/f … pkg.tar.gz
    that's a newer package, but it works with pacman. To install run:
    pacman -U fluxbox-0.1.14-2.pkg.tar.gz
    Or else just run
    pacman -Sy fluxbox
    to download it directly.
    If you want to use the 0.9.12 version, you will have to build the package from scratch. This isn't difficult, you can follow instructions on using ABS (Arch Build System) found in the Arch Linux Wiki.  You can probably find a PKGBUILD for the old version in the CVS archives, accessible from searching the front page.

    Hi Nikhil,
    Appreciate your reply.
    Both Firewall and the SELinux are disabled. But still cannot access the FMS
    Server using http://ip-address. Windows installation works perfectly. But
    still I can Telnet to port 80,1935 and 111 in the Linux installation. This
    is weird. I don't know why the only the Linux setup is not working. Any
    idea that I need to change any configuration in the Linux setup? Here is
