Hello Samir,
yes you need to prepare the file to the directory, where the XI Integration Repository has got an access .. which is normally /sapmnt/<SID>/global/xi/repository_server/import.
I assume you do have the proper zip file. I imported one with following name " XI7_0_SAP_BASIS_7.00_14_01_2008-12-01_10-52.tpz" (around 1MB). But of course the file must correspond with SP level of your XI.

  • Error: Cannot connect to Repository !!!

    Hi all,
We are running PI 7.0 SP14 on a dual stack (ABAP & Java).  It was a fresh install on a brand new laptop.  We followed all the configuration and installation wizards.  When we go to the Integration Directory with PISUPER and click on "Configuration Wizard" under Tools, we receive the error "Cannot connect to Repository" with the following:

    Hi,
is your server newly installed? or was there any upgradation done to it? from the error details that you have posted your error is with the import of Basis components for adapters
Not found in adapter metadata for XI adapter; check whether SAP BASIS content for your release has been imported correctly.
Please ask your Basis team to check whether the import was successful or not....if not then ask them to reperform the action.
    Regards,
    Abhishek.

  • JDeveloper and Subversion - Cannot Connect To Repository

    Using JDeveloper 11.1.1.6.
I have a Subversion repository set up on a server that I can connect to from my local machine using the appropriate URL.
When I attempt to set up the repository connection in JDev, I get a "Connection Refused" error.
I am using the http protocol.
If it works using a straight URL from a browser, why doesn't JDeveloper connect to it using that same URL?
    Thanks,
    Ray

    Timo,
Thanks for the info but installing 1.6 generates the same error.
    Here is my config:
    ----on server
    --------VisualSVN Server 1.6.4.
--------SVN Server displays repo URL as http://myServer:89/svn/myRepo
    ----on local machine
--------JDev 11.1.1.6 with "Versioning support for Subversion 11.1.1.6.38.61.92"
--------I can access the repo URL from my local browser.
    --------JDev cannot access URL
I wonder if there is another extension that I need in JDev.

  • Install of Oracle BI Apps 7.9.6  Informatica cannot connect to Repository

We just completed in initial install of Oracle BI Apps 7.9.6 and cannot get the Informatica out of the box repository to connect. Looking at the Informatica Admins console we see REP_51002 “ Database Error; Failed to connect to database using user [] and connection string []”. In addition we see “Failed to logon to Database server Database driver error… Function Name : Logon Error while trying to retrieve text for error ORA-12705” . The OS is 64 bit “Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.7” . The oracle client is 11g Rel 2 64 bit . It is the minimal Oracle client install. We can connect to the database from the server where Informatica is installed using the service name, same login and password that is in the Informatica Admin console using sqlplus. Has anyone else run into this?

The issue is resolved. The problem was the Oracle 11g client was a minimal install. it had the following in ORACLE_HOME which works for jdbc but does not have the libraries for OBIEE 11g. at the bottom I have what the full install looks like. Once I had the fulll client installed and changed the environment variables Repository is connecting.

    Hi,
The instance of my development database was moved from one server to another server… and installed successfully…
The repository owner and repository user are available in the repository in the new server…I can login through sqlplus.
But when I try to connect to the repository from the design center I am getting the following error message box.
    <
    Database Connection Error!
API5022 : Cannot connect to the specified repository. Verify the connection information
    >
    Please assist me.
    Thanks,
    Rejitha

    try this:
    Query to verify current configuration:
    SELECT * FROM WB_RT_SERVICE_NODES;
Query to update Port and Service Name (supply the necessary details):
    UPDATE WB_RT_SERVICE_NODES
    SET PORT = <PORT>, SERVICE_NAME = <Service_Name>;
    Commit;
    Stop/start your OWB service using
    <OWB_HOME>\owb\rtp\sql\stop_service.sql
    <OWB_HOME>\owb\rtp\sql\start_service.sql
Unregister your location and register again with the correct credentials.
    Hope this helps.

  • API5022: Cannot connect to the specified repository. Verify connection info

    Hi,
While logging into OWB client, we are getting the following error and not able to connect to OWB repository:
API5022: Cannot connect to the specified repository. Verify connection information. Cache Loading Error: SQL Exception
Just one week back, this was running fine, and we were able to login to this OWB rep and do normal operation, and suddenly from today, the above error is coming during owb client log-on.
I have checked service_doctor.sql, and it gives everything is OK.
Also, ran the stop_service and start_service, and those are running fine.
And also restarting the database also did not fix the problem.
And also, this problem is coming from all the machines, so may not be local machine specific.
OWB version is 10g Release (10.1).
Can you please let me know how to fix the above problem.
    Thanks & Regards,
    lenin

When you log onto OWB you also need to give the database connection details.
These can be seen when you click on the Show Detail >> button on tjhe loin screen.
    Did you enter these details?

    Hi,
I installed OWB 10gR2 on my machine. There after i applied upgrade patch 10.2.0.2 Patch (p5696353_10202).
Everything was done successfully. This is client install, server is on different machine. Other ppl are able to login. Even i was able to login using OMBPlus
Now when i am trying to login using Design Center i am getting following error:
"API5022: Cannot connect to specified repository. Verify connection info"
I am able to login to database using same OWB credentials. Also i checked some forum which said NAMESPACESERVICEIMPL should be valid. I checked it is valid.
Also my owb user is having access to SYS.V_$SESSION.
    Please help!
    Thanks,
    Niranjan

    Hi Carsten,
I am not sure what is happening, If i am entering wrong info then how m i able to connect using OMBPlus. I can change the project using OMBCC
I can Ping Host and TNSPING the database
I have installed OWB and the patches in new OWB Home
I have tried everything i could, i reinstalled OWB + patch. One thing for your info I have multiple Oracle Clients Ora 9i, 10gR2. I have a separate OWB home.

  • Error "Cannot connect to 'AD' data repository. Your username or password may be incorrect." while login to ESSO Provisioning Gateway

    Hi all,
I'm facing a problem while login into ESSO Provisioning Gateway, it throws error "Cannot connect to "AD" data repository. Your username or password may be incorrect.". My Provisioning Gateway version is 11.1.1.5.2 and it is freshly installed. It throws error while I try to set event log in PG setting menu. The symptom is really like document with ID 467150.1 in Oracle Support but my storage is Active Directory as had mentioned above not Oracle Internet Directory.  Have anyone ever faced problem like thisOIM? Any help will be very much appreciated. Thanks
    Regards
    Johan Saragih

I use only support.mozilla.org and never used any other websites. However, the same problem here. My ID and Password are not accepted. Had to create a new account with a temporary email to use Support - it would not allow me to use my main email, because "it is used by another account". Try to reset password - receive no email (even though there is a confirmation on the website that email to reset password has been sent). • Metadata Repository Creation Assistant cannot connect SYS

    Hi!
    I have Oracle10.2.0.1.0 running on Oracle EL4. ORACLE_HOME is /opt/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1 and ORACLE_SID is "orcl".
I have installed MRCA in /opt/app/oracle/product/10.1.4.0.1/mrca. After installation, I run MRCA with /opt/app/oracle/product/10.1.4.0.1/mrca/runRepca. When I get to the section to enter connection information, I enter the SYS password but it fails to connect.
I can go into sqplus and do sqlplus /nolog , and then do connect / as sysdba (as user oracle). That works. However, I have the administrator client software installed in /opt/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/client_1, and when I launch "oemapp control" I cannot connect sys as sysdba (I get an insufficient privileges error).
    Please help!

there are prerequisits to RepCA, did you check all of them?<<To be honest with you, no.
The OAS MRCA User's Guide has over 25 pages of install requirements (Sections 1.3, 1.5 and 1.6, and surprisingly, the section for installing RepCA, 1.4 comes before the requirement sections for the database and OID), with lots of rabbit trails to follow (for steps here, go here; this stuff is discussed over there, etc) to follow before you can get the whole picture.
In all fairness to Oracle, there's plenty of information there in the docs, not just in a well organized manner, IMHO. Of course, complexity helps Oracle University fill up training sessions. :) For someone who simply wants a cookbook to get up and running in as short a timeframe as possible so that s(he) can start doing work with these technologies (for example, a Java developer that doesn't need/care to know about Oracle DB administration but that needs access to a DB or Portal instance to work on his/her projects but has no access to a DBA resource) following a long trail of docs, release notes, addendums, and interspersed bits of knowledge is just running out of luck.
So what I did is, since RepCA runs its own requisites check when you launch the installer, and my intended install met all of them (except shmmax being like 4GB; my system only has 3GB) I went with that. With help from this forum I was able to figure out how to proceed with the install... now the message about RepCA not supporting Oracle DB 10g 10.2.0.1.0... on Oracle EL4... if it doesn't work I don't know yet what I'm going to do. I've spent significant time working through the matrix to identify a set of components that can happily live with each other and allow me to do some work!
Thanks for your input. I'll follow the link and be more patient and read more (on the prerequisites) and hopefully I'll be able to navigate the maze in order to help out another newbie tomorrow.
    Thx!

  • Cannot connect to Session broker server, but can to other servers in Cluster

    Hi Everyone,
Hopefully this is the right place to post. Have searched quite a bit through the forums (not all 19000+ pages though), and can't seem to find a similiar issue.
I have also searched the internet and tried all solutions others with a similiar problem have.
    This is my problem:
We have two servers running Server 2008 R2, set up as Remote Desktop Servers in a cluster setup.
The session broker is located on the second server (This is an active server which has sessions load balanced to it). There is also a DNS round robin setup
Problem: When sessions are allowed to be load balanced on Server2, then the users cannot connect to the cluster. The round robin seems to still send some sessions to the first server, and these seem to connect fine.
I suspected the issue was with the WMI Respository, and so started. I found a lot of errors, but have been unable to fix them.
I downlaoded the WMIDiag from Microsoft, and here is the report:

    49196 15:56:44 (0) ** WMIDiag v2.1 ended on 15 April 2015 at 15:56 (W:110 E:41 S:1).
This seems to be the biggest problem:
48960 15:56:44 (1) !! ERROR: Actual trustee 'NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM' DOES NOT match corresponding expected trustee rights (Actual->Default)
This seems to be the second biggest error (and there are a few of them):
    0x80041002 - (WBEM_E_NOT_FOUND) Object cannot be found.
    I have tried:
    winmgmt /resyncperf
    winmgmt /verifyrepository
    winmgmt /salvagerepository
    winmgmt /resetrepository
I have also tried registering the mof files with
    MOFCOMP <FileName.mof>
Lastly, I even disabled the WMI service, renamed the Repository folder, and had it rebuild the repository.
I got stuck on re registering the 'NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM' (I think it is in the Components section in Administrative tools), as I could not find clear instructions on exactly how to go about it.
    Chkdsk found no errors
    Sfc /scannow found no errors
    winmgmt /verifyrepository finds no errors.
I'm hoping someone here might be able to steer me in the right direction to get this resolved, as I do not want to rebuild a server that hosts a connection broker and has over 100 user profiles on it, as well as some very annoying and finniky LOB apps installed,
which will have to manually be reinstalled for each profile.

    Hi,
Here is a blog regarding how to fix WMI issue might be useful to you:
Fixing WMI issues Using Batch Script
    http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/6887.fixing-wmi-issues-using-batch-script.aspx
In addition, you mentioned Remote Desktop Servers are in a cluster setup, would you tell us how did you create the cluster?
As far as I know, with RD Connection Broker, we don’t need to create a cluster but just add multiple RD session hosts into one collection, then RD connection Broker would redirect sessions automatically.
    Best Regards,
    Amy

  • BO data services: Profiler cannot connect. error is - No JVM

    Hi,
I just installed BODS on solaris. I had configured the job servers and repositories and my designer can connect to the job server.
However, my designer cannot connect to the profiler. I'm having an error message of 'no JVM is available to process profiling request. I already configured the profiler repository on oracle using the repository manager and associate the profiler repository to a job server.
    Please help.
    thanks,
    Tenrag

    Hi
Try installing the "Web Tier components" on the client (Designer) machine.
(You will have to re-run the Installation, selecting the same components as before, plus the Web Tier Components. There is no need to set up repositories again, though).
This should work, as it installs java components.
(You might want to post any Data Services in the Enterprise Information Management forum - as that is the correct forum for Data Services - I only noticed you question by accident!)
    Regards
    Miguel

    Oracle user: oracle
    [powercenter@sun2 ~]$ id
    uid=500(powercenter) gid=1000(oinstall) groups=501(oracle),1000(oinstall) context=user_u:system_r:unconfined_t
    [oracle@sun2 ~]$ id
    uid=501(oracle) gid=1000(oinstall) groups=1000(oinstall) context=root:system_r:unconfined_t:SystemLow-SystemHigh
    [powercenter@sun2 ~]$ cat .bash_profile
    # .bash_profile
    # Get the aliases and functions
    if [ -f ~/.bashrc ]; then
    . ~/.bashrc
    fi
    # User specific environment and startup programs
    ORACLE_HOME=/home/oracle/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/client_1
    export ORACLE_HOME
    TNS_ADMIN=$ORACLE_HOME/network/admin
    export TNS_ADMIN
    PATH=$ORACLE_HOME/bin:/opt/bin:$PATH
    export PATH
    LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$ORACLE_HOME/lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH
    export LD_LIBRARY_PATH
Tnsping is working fine with the tnsentry given using Informatica user.
    [powercenter@sun2 ~]$ echo $TNS_ADMIN
    /home/oracle/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/client_1/network/admin
In the Informatica log file we are getting below error message:
Database driver event...error occured loading library [libclntsh.10.1:cannot open shared object file....
I have a confusion here, we have installed Oracle 11g client then why Informatica is looking for 10g library file?
I checked and found there is no file in /usr/local/lib directory.
Any suggestion would be highly appreciated.
    Thanks.

  • BAM Server stopped working - Cannot connect to the Oracle BAM services

    Hi,
On logging into the OracleBAM page, I get Error 500 - Internal Server Error.
    Caused by: java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException
Caused by: oracle.bam.common.remoting.ServiceUnavailableException: BAM-00223: Service "interface oracle.bam.adc.common.core.IDataStore" is unavailable.
Caused by: oracle.bam.adc.api.exceptions.ServerUnavailableException: BAM-01261: Cannot connect to the Oracle BAM services.
In the server startup log I find the following error before the server state changed to RUNNING
BAM-01324: Unable to establish BAM administrator account.
java.lang.Exception: BAM administrator account OracleSystemUser does not have administrator privileges.
How do I fix this? Help Please!
Also, is there a way to bring my BAM installation back to its vanilla state? Maybe run the Repository Creation Utility once more? Are there any files on the server that has to be cleaned?
    Thanks

    Hello SOA gurus,
We're getting the same error as well. Our's a Linux environment and we've configured 2 managed servers (soa_server and bam_server)
Log file for the bam_server throws up this error message periodically. Looks like the other server doesn't. Does this message pertain to only BAM server ? (I'm new to SOA suite).
Also, is this a show stopper ? I've seen the managed server going down at times and wasn't sure if it was due to this error. Don't know if this error can be ignored or need to fix.
Can someone help on how to fix this really soon please ?
    Thanks
    Muthu
