Cannot get highlight color on menu items (only submenu items).

I am having a problem with the highlight color when I move over a vertical menu item. You can see what I mean by going to:

If you move the focus over the "Questions" sub-menu item I get the blue highlight, with white text. BUT if I move over any other menu items (Services, About us or Contact us) I simply cannot get the blue highlight.
Can someone tell me which cdd property I need to change to get this?

It is because you'r overriding the background color with an image in the following
ul.MenuBarVertical a.MenuBarItemHover, ul.MenuBarVertical a.MenuBarItemSubmenuHover, ul.MenuBarVertical a.MenuBarSubmenuVisible
     background-color: #33C;
     color: #FFF;
     background-image: url(../images/filler.gif);
Remove the background image and all is well.

Try this:
UIManager.put("MenuItem.selectionBackground", new ColorUIResource(new Color(r,g,b));This will change the color for selected MenuItems generally in your whole program.

Cannot get to Apple TV menu

WWhen I turn on Apple TV, my television blinks "no signal". I have checked my connections and I am connected to my wireless signal. I've unplugged Apple TV and plugged in again. Now the television screen goes "no signal" to Apple picture" to no signal, and keeps doing this. Yet I cannot get the Apple TV menu to show up. What do I try next?

Can I get different background colors on menu items?

I've been trying to get different background colors on my menu (Quick launch) items for a while, without success. What I want is the even numbered items (the second, fourth, sixth...) to have a different background color than the uneven ones (first, third,
fifth...).

Can you do something in the javascript code where you have given specific IDs to each buttons in your menu? It could end up in something like "$('#menu_id').css('background-color', '#1B3E70');"

If you want handcursor on menuitems put these properties on the Label tag of menuitem.
useHandCursor = true;
buttonMode = true;
mouseChildren = false;

Getting the last clicked menu item

Hi everybody,
Does anyone know if there is a method which exists to get the last item selected from a JMenu? For example, if you click on a menu item called "blah", that method would return that item to you? I looked over the Java tutorial about the focus subsystem and I didn't see a method in the javadocs, but I'm hoping I just missed it, does anyone know? If somebody could give me a quick answer, I'd appreciate it.

Cannot get mail for single email account only

Hi everyone.
I have three email accounts on my iphone 4s(1 gmail, two hotmail).
I get the 'Cannot Get Mail - The connection to the sever failed' message when I acess one of my hotmail accounts.
I do not get this message when I access the gmail and other hotmail accounts. My other accounts push and recieve email normally.
I noticed this problem since yesterday.
I have:
turned my phone on and off
reset my iphone
deleted and re-added the hotmail account to my phone
and nothing has helped.
Can anyone help me with this issue?

I've been having the exact same problem with one of my hotmail accounts on my iPhone 4. Actually my @hotmail email is working, but my @live is not.
I've tried the solutions you've listed as well with no resolve.
This happened suddenly after a year of working just fine.
Anybody have some ideas? Since the other emails are working would it be logical that it's with the email server and not the phone?

Gain control freezes after a certain point (cannot get highlights to 100) with colorwheel mode

I just purchased Adobe CC, (Switching from FCP 7, did not want to upgrade to FCP X). Really loving SpeedGrade (was an Apple color user)
I am using a standard iMAC keyboard and magic mouse (iMAC 27")
In colorwheel mode: After setting the blacks to 0 with the offset wheel, I try to move the gain wheel to the right, to get my highlights to 100. Even when holding shift, I have to click and drag several times to move the pointer. I cannot move it in one motion. Even then, the pointer will literally stop or "freeze" at about the 3 o'clock position. In order to get my highlights to 100, I have to switch to the Editbox mode and scroll the numbers up manually. I cannont do it with the colorwheel mode.
Very frustrating. Any advice?

Thank you so much for your prompt response. After I posted my question, I looked online and found some users had the exact same issue and found the solution. It is in the way you move the mouse:
When clicking on the indicator for a color wheel, my impulse was to move the mouse in a downward circular motion, to mimic the round path of the wheel. This appears to not work and makes the indicator "freeze" after a certain point.
When clicking on the indicator and then moving the mouse laterally, directly to the left or right on a mouse pad (or desk), it moves the color wheel indicator all the way down to either end. When moving the mouse this way, it seems to work. I hope I’m explaining this clearly.
To answer your question, yes the issue was with the Offset and Gamma wheels as well. But since the particular adjustment for these was not as much, I didn't realize it. But the gain adjustment I was doing was more severe, which is why I thought it was just the gain wheel adjustment.
So it appears it was the way you move the mouse to adjust the color wheel - which should be left and right.
I really am enjoying Speedgrade much more than Color. I was a huge Color fan as well and very upset when Apple discontinued it. I am very happy I found SpeedGrade and look forward to learning it more in depth. My next challenge is to find out how to use the SG color wheel controls to mimic curve adjustments.

I cannot find the "shake stabilizer" menue item in the Adjustements menue

in the Tools -> Adjustements Menue, the sequence of entries in my installation of premiere elements 12.0 is
Smart Fix
Auto Smart Tone
Color etc.
So the Shake Stabilizer is missing. What can I do to get the function? I use the expert mode and I have a quite fresh installation. Is there a hidden functionality to activate the shake stabilizer function?

Cannot get artist into artist menu

I have recently put Chinese Democracy onto my iPod but Guns N' Roses wont go into the artist menu. The album is in the album menu and songs are in songs but no artist. Tis annoying.

Is the album listed as a compilation? To check, just highlight one of the songs and bring up the get info screen and make sure the "Compilation " is not checked. Make sure this is the case with each song from the album. Lastly, check to be sure that all the songs are correctly titled and with the correct album name just to be sure. Hope this helps.

I tried to open a 2 year old movie (3.2GB) through iDVD today from an external drive and now I cannot get the color wheel to stop spinning. I tried restarting, it allows me to login and then gets to the background screen and spins again. Any ideas?

After admittedly only a quick read the one thing you don't say is how you are trying to make this move. Most people with moving library issues do it the wrong way. Plenty of web sites tell you how to do it the wrong way.
If the iTunes application is started before the drive with the library is fully mounted and awake iTunes will revert back to the internal drive.

First, please check to make sure that no bright orange tape is left on the bottom of the new cartridge.
Next, a test should be performed of your printer. The Nozzle Check pattern shows if each print head nozzle is operating properly. Please perform the following steps to print a Nozzle Check pattern:
1. Press the OPEN button to open the Output Tray.
2. Load letter-sized, plain paper in the Auto Sheet Feeder or the Cassette Tray.
3. Press the COPY button.
4. Press the MENU button repeatedly until MAINTENANCE is displayed in the LCD.
5. Press the LEFT or RIGHT ARROW buttons until NOZZLE CHECK is displayed in the LCD, and then press OK. The nozzle check pattern is printed. Please compare your printout to the example that has been attached to this post.
If the page prints blank or colors are missing, printhead cleanings should be performed. Please follow the instructions below to clean the printhead:
1. Press the MENU button repeatedly until MAINTENANCE is displayed in the LCD.
2. Press the LEFT or RIGHT ARROW buttons until HEAD REFRESHING is displayed in the LCD below MAINTENANCE, and then press OK.
After 3 or 4 cleanings, print another test page. Does the test page print correctly?

You need a router that sends out a wifi signal. Or you can go to public library, fast food joint, etc.
