Cannot launch maps app, what's wrong?

I have a problem with launching my "maps application" it wouldn't open and says Cannot open application, install latest version from Nokia.com/maps everytime. I tried to download the newest version but downloading it always fails, please advise me what is the reason for this error? best regards.

    Is this a new issue with your iPad meaning that you have been able to connect to the Internet in the past?
    If it worked before try rebooting your router - unplug it for about 30 seconds and then plug it in again.
    Sometimes restarting the iPad is all it takes as well. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
    You can also reset Network Settings - go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings.Or go to Settings>WiFi>tap the blue arrow next to your network>Forget this Network. In either of those cases, you will have to rejoin your WiFi network and enter your password again.

    Thanks for the question. When troubleshooting iTunes Store connection issues, the following articles provide the best information:
    First, try signing out of your account in Settings > iTunes & App Store. Once signed out, go ahead and sign back in.

    If you are in the Philippines, check to see if the country is changed in the iTunes Store settings on the iOS device.  These steps will show you how to change the preference.
    Change your iTunes Store country
    Sign in to the account for the iTunes Store region you'd like to use. TapSettings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID: > View Apple ID > Country/Region.
    Follow the onscreen process to change your region, agree to the terms and conditions for the region if necessary, and then change your billing information.

  • Cannot launch FocPro app from SGD Webtop

    Dear forum users,
    My customer uses a FoxPro application for their IT heldesk. Basically they installed the application to their own PCs and able to launch the app.
    Behaviour of FoxPro IT Helpdesk app:
    - User login to windows Desktop.
    - User will double-click My Computer and check if the Shared Network drive is connect ( Drive F ). Drive F contains the IT Helpdesk Database.
    - Then user will click, Start, Program, and launch their app.
    From SGD Windows Application Object:
    Name: IT Helpdesk Client
    Command path: C:\telbruapp\helpdesk\telbru.exe
    Note: The rest of the setting are defaults.
    From a Firefox browser:
    - Launch browser and point URL to SGD.
    - Enter username and password.
    - On the left panel, click the IT Helpdesk Client app( I saw connection activity to Windows Server( blue back ground ) and the application did not launch and also i saw the error message " .ini file missing! Can't continue....(Network) ".
    Note: I think, when i click the IT Helpdesk Client from SGD, the SGD straight-away connect and launch the app WITHOUT waiting the Drive F to connect. The app required the Drive F.
    Can anyone help me on this ?

    Tks again for replying my post message.
    I have solved the FoxPro problem.
    Customer installed their FoxPro client app in Terminal Server and has created two users( user1 and user2 ). As in my previous post, i had mentioned the app required Network Shared Disk(Drive F) to connect bcos the database is in Drive F.
    So, i RDP to TS1 and logged in as user1. I also created "Map Network Drive"
    the Drive F and save the password.
    Then, i RDP to TS1 and logged as user2 and did the same as for user1.
    After that, i configured SGD's Windows Application Object and entered the full app path in App Command. Also in Advanced tab, i edit -dir "C:\telbruapp\helpdesk".
    Now, from customer PC and laptop, user launched browser and login using their IDs and they can successfully launch the app.
    Important: Previously in TS1, user2 does not have the Drive F access. So, i had created it and save the Network password.

  • Cannot launch CS4 app; won't open

    I get an error message after clicking CS4 app that says: No Document Types have been found. The application will exist now." And all I can do is click OK and app exits. That's it. Updates are up to date. I reinstalled program. Cannot get into app to even check settings, but those haven't changed and have no problem accessing Internet w/ other programs. any ideas?

  • Cannot Reset "MAPS" app

    I live in Colorado. Recently visited Florida.
    Now, my "Maps" app thinks my "Current Location" is still in Florida. I have tried the following:
    1) Resent "Location warnings"
    2) Deleted map bookmarks and locations
    3) torn my hair out.
    Running software vs. 2.2.1 ...
    When I try to use "MapsBuddy" app, I get "Starbucks" (for example) all over the world...

    Hi Will,
    Try Resetting Network Settings on the iPod touch, go to Settings> General> Reset> Reset Network Settings.
    If the issue persists, this may be an issue with the Skyhook database.

  • I updated an app, and now it crashes as soon as I launch it. What's wrong??

    I updated my Colormania app from my iPod touch (3rd Generation 32 GB, 17.5 GB available, IOS 5.1.1) and it seemed to update successfully, it says that it's the newest version and the app icon changed when I restarted my iPod. However, when I tried to open for the first time since updating it, it crashed, and has never launched successfully. Is this a problem with my iPod Touch? Or do I need to contact the app's support?     Running 10.5.8 and after recently downloading adobe cs5 suite can no longer launch my 2004mx apps. Uninstalled cs5 trial and now cannot reinstall 2004xmx as installer fails to launch.

  • Cannot Launch Mail app

    Hi -
    I have an iBook G4 with Tiger v.10.4.3. I've been using Eudora as my mail manager, but I got fed up with the poor integration with Tiger so I have just switched to Thunderbird (I check 6 accounts and get hundreds of messages a week).
    Some apps seem to have options for which email sw to use (Office and Opera, for example) but others don't. Other applications (e.g. Camino) always launch my old email software, which is really annoying. I am debugging lots of websites at the moment, so faulty mailto: link handling is a problem for me.
    I want to set the global mail handler preference, which requires starting Apple Mail (as far as I can tell there is no Pref pane for this - crazy!). I have Mail on the machine, for sure. I have even re-installed it from my Tiger DVD!
    The problem is that whatever method I use to launch it (direct click in Finder, Spotlight search or QuickSilver) the icon bounces in the dock a few times and then disappears. Why is this? What can I do to repair the app and set the global preference? By the way, when I look in the info in Finder, it does say it was opened today, so it looks like the app is loading and instantly quitting.

    Thanks for taking the time to think about my issue. At the moment I have about 21gb free, so I doubt that is directly contributing. I started Eudora when offline, and checked all the preference panes. There was an option to set it as the default client, which was unchecked.
    Then I looked in the Library directory- no entry for Eudora, but there was an entry for Thunderbird and another (almost empty) directory listed for Mail.
    Next task was to look into the package of Mail and try to run ot from the command line. I went into Contents / MacOS and ran the Mail.app from there directly. This is the error I got:

    2006-01-14 14:23:57.185 Mail[911] Unable to load nib file: MailViewer, exiting
    Does this sound like some corrupted prefs that were not repaired by a reinstall of the application? I wouldn't know how to solve that. Anywa, the problem is still persisting, but I think I am about to add my Eudora folder, old email and so on into an archive. Perhaps when it has gone altogether I will get a dialogue asking me how I want to handle mail links?
    Any more thoughts would be appreciated. This is the only thing on this glorious little computer that doesn't work perfectly!

    So to understand better I started with transaction launcher wizard to invoke the tx VA01 and I'm able to see in the webui the transaction.
    Some parameters of the wizard are:

    I followed several post and blog so the solution that I applied is:
    in the "execute" method of ZTST object I created a new parameter called "AAT" table VBAK and field AUART. In the prepare_data_flow of the class I setted the container data where the iv_name is "AAT" an iv_value is "Z001". Now when I invoke via CRM UI the transaction I see that the AAT field is always empty. Can you help me?

  • Can not print emails or mapquest maps. What is wrong and how do I fix it?

    This problem just started with the latest version upgrade. I could go into MapQuest and see the data but when I tried to print the map and instructions an error window appears. This is now the same thing that happens when I try to print an email. This one just started.
