Cannot Preview/Buy Audiobooks on iTunes on iPhone

Ive had a search and cant find anything.
Neither me nor 2 of my friends can preview or then buy Audiobooks from our iPhones.
The Preview button just doesnt do anything .. tap tap tap and nothing happens.
Help, please.

Ssme problem - purchased a 2 hour audiobook of a radio series on Wednesday with 3.0, upgraded and tried to buy another in the same series on Sunday - no luck, no preview. Both attempts on the same wifi network and both file sizes around 25mb.
Very odd - not the end of the world, perhaps it was never meant to be there - as there is meant to be a 10mb restriction. I assumed that there was no restriction on a wifi network - but who knows.
Buying films also seems to have the same issue.

Cannot transfer Audiobooks on iTunes to iPhone

I have an audiobook in my "Books" Library on iTunes on my PC. I had it copied over to my iPhones, but it disappeared. Now I cannot copy it over from iTunes to the phone. How can I get it back to my phone?

I was having the same problem; turns out someone had put in extra restrictions in the Settings section of my phone.
Settings > Restrictions
Allowed Content: Apps > Allow Apps Rated:
This section was ticked off at 4+... so any app rated higher (or unrated) would have to be dragged to the phone and when I synced it still wouldn't work. Tick 'allow all apps', disconnect from the computer and re-connect again. It solved our issues.

Cannot view all tabs in itunes when iphone is connected

Hi,
Just after the new itunes upgrade when I plug my iphone into my computer I cannot see all the tabs. It starts with the Summary, Info, Applications, Ringtones, Music, Movies, TV Shows, iTunesU, Ph...(cannot see the rest). I tried going to Windows and Zoom and it doesn't make a difference. I've been trying to sync my Nike+ipod and cannot find where the tab is located. My photos tab cannot even be completely viewed. Can someone please help?

I have a similar problem, except I cannot see the slidebar at the botton of the screen. I opened itunes to find that a portion of the window was out of the screen. And now I can't move it up so use the slidebar. I've tried everything I could think of but I'm not very good with computers. I've tried minimizing and maximizing and closing the window... nothing! Can you please help!

Cannot transfer rental movie from itunes to iphone

I rented an episode of Glee Season 1 and want to transfer it from itunes to my iphone. I have the iphone 3gs-16gb running OS 4.2.1 Itunes will not transfer it to my phone telling me "it did not transfer this episode because it cannot be played on this phone." I checked the Apple discussions and it tells me that I need to convert the rental in Itunes under the "Advanced" tab - "convert this to iphone version". In my itunes - this option is not available. The available options are in black. The unavailable options are in light gray. This is a light gray option. Any help or ideas?
This episode is HD. On other posts, people have mentioned an SD version of Glee but I cannot find any SD versions - only HD

You cannot convert a rented movie to another format, so that option is not possible. And HD episodes can be played only on an iPhone 4, not on the 3GS. To find the SD versions, go to the Glee Season 1 page:

and click on the Glee icon under "In Standard Definition". You should be able to rent the SD version there.

Cannot play song bought on itunes on iPhone 4

Having 2 problems with my iphone4:
1: cannot play songs I bought on itunes, when trying it simply goes one "step" back returning to list of bought music
2: when peoble are trying to call me, it always appears busy, even if im not on the phone

I tried each suggestion under the topic you gave me the link to, no success. My Problem might be in the itunes store. When I checked my purchase history in my profile the songs I downloaded in 2006 do not show. When the box opens for me to authorize the songs my aol ID is pre-selected. When I use my aol password it says to create an apple ID. I want to contact the itunes store to restore my purchases to my profile. This may solve my problem. I don't think that I should have to buy them again.

Lost audiobooks on itune from iphone 4 while backing up to icloud

While backing up my data to icloud I lost all my audio books on itunes from my iphone 4 running ios 5. How do i recover back the lost audio books.

To add the same content from the iPhone 4 backup, you can only backup and restore using the original Apple ID (iCloud) and password account.
Content cannot be transferred from one Apple ID to another and accounts cannot be merged as noted here.

Cannot view movies purchased via iTunes at iPhone 5

The movies purchased at Apple Store (*.m4v both SD and HD quality) were successfuly transfered to iPhone but I do not see them in Video and (as a result) cannot view them.

I have not done this, but I have shut the unit down (light off) then turned it back on (light on). This did not work.
that is just standby mode, not restart.

Installed OS X Mavericks, now cannot load photos page on ITunes during IPhone/Ipad Sync

Hi I downloaded and installed OS X Mavericks last week.
But now realised that I cannot load the photos page during ITunes backup for apple devices!
Have tried reinstalling OS X Mavericks.
Wasn't able to delete itunes, so only could reinstall it.
Couldn't seem to resolve this problem.
Any tips?

Unfortunately without visually inspecting where everything is situated, it is difficult to say without putting you deeper in a hole. It is never a good idea to reinstall an older operating system on top of a new one. Your best bet to rescue your photos is to use an operating system independent file search tool. This tool may help, if you haven't overwritten the original files:
Download FindAnyFile v1.8.6 for older PowerPC Macs)
This program will search for files by their .jpg name and should be able to find old photos, if you know the number of the filename as it was in the Finder.
If you stored the files somewhere outside the main user, you may need help bringing over that user to your shared directory.
If you have overwritten the original files, only a data recovery tool would work. I would bring it in to service, since you attempted something that generally is not recommended unless you know what you are doing. Someone at a Mac usergroup could also attempt to help. http://www.apple.com/usergroups/

Cannot drag/drop music from iTunes onto iPhone (synced with a different computer)

I have a library of music already on my iPhone that was synced with another computer. I am working on a different computer and bought some music that I thought I could just drag and drop into my iphone from iTunes. I have read that you need to check manually manage music but when I do that it says it will erase everything on my phone. I don't want to do that because I have music on my phone that isn't in the library I'm using. Is there anything else I can do?

you iphone does not work like a regular ipod, where you can drag and drop music, you must sync it with itunes. plug it into your computer, click on the icon that is labeled iphone. when you do this there is a section on the top that says music. click on that, then you can select playlists and artists, etc. then click apply. it should work then

Buying ringtones from itunes on iphone

I've gone through settings>sounds>ringtones and clicked store in the top right. When I get there and find a tone that I want, I click 'buy tone' but nothing happens. It has asked me if I want to assign to a contact or set as default, but after that nothing. What's going on here?

I can not load my audiobook from itunes to my iPhone 3G

since 2 h i´m trying to upload my new audiobook from itunes to my iPhone but they say allways that my pc is not allowed to do this. Then I go to the file store and say: yes allow my pc to do this -but nothing happens. I´m so tiered about this itunes and load things of my iPhone, that i´m buying less things. And months later, I will try again (buy music and syncronizar my iPhone), I´m sitting two hours and nothing happens. Thats soooo bad and sad, I can not tell here.
PLEASE!!! Can someone from iTunes help me?

Let's start with the basics.
Have you ticked the box on the Audiobooks Tab that what do you want to sync? If you have then except the Audiobooks, iTunes sync other media (music, photos, applications) with your phone? If iTunes does, then you should try to see the Advanced screen and check that the three box on the bottom of the screen (above the iPhone's memory indicator) are ticked or not. Check them carefully because if you select that you select media by yourself then you have to be careful to tick every item what you want to sync. By default every media is ticked, but if you edited it then you can get unexpected result what can cause that you can't sync your iPhone with your audiobooks.
If you checked everything and against it, your audiobooks doesn't sync then write in to Discussions > iTunes for more help or turn to Apple.

After installing ios6 on my iphone 4, I cannot get my audiobook to play. This is an audiobook I bought through iTunes and shows up under the Music icon, but it will not play it. Tried installing audiobooks to play it, but cannot get it to play it either. Any ideas?

If your iTunes is the latest version, restart your computer and reboot your iPhone. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the iPhone restart. See if that fixes your problem.
