Cannot render resource resourceWrapper

running 5.4. we patched our publishing instance to the latest crx 2.2.73 and security updates and now we're getting this error:
23.10.2012 13:49:24.974 *ERROR* [127.0.0.1 [1351000164957] POST /content/usergenerated/content/sample-site/2012/submissions-test.form.html/content/sample -site/submissions/view HTTP/1.1] org.apache.sling.servlets.get.impl.DefaultGetServlet No renderer for extension html, cannot render resource ResourceWrapper, type=foundation/components/form/actions/edit, path=/content/sample-site/submissions/view/jcr:content/body/start_0, resource=[JcrNodeResource, type=foundation/components/form/start, superType=null, path=/content/sample-site/submissions/view/jcr:content/body/start_0]
this is caused by a form used only to redirect to another page...
i have it as a edit resource(s) action type with a text field that the element name is :redirect and value is './edit'
which is the way it's done in the geometrixx site
still works on our authoring instance (which is up-to date with patching) but our publishing is getting this...
if someone could shed some light on this it would be much appreciated

The bug is logged. As a temporary workaround overlay & add an empty /apps/foundation/components/form/defaults/action/cleanup.jsp to the form action.

  • FAQ web form throws - Cannot render container ERROR

    Hi All,
I used FAQ web form to create a web page. In the FAQ web form i had given link to some document and also some internal links.
After saving the web form and previewing did not throw any eror. But when attached to a role and accessed the page.. getting
this ERROR  "  Cannot render container : An error occurred while loading the document from the resource content ".
Can somebody tell me the reason for this .??
    Regards,
    Archana.

    Hi Archana,
I have faced the same error like you. The /etc repository is not working. Please check whether the network share used by this repository is available. You can check also SAP Note 1178294 regarding /etc repository in cluster environment. The /etc repository is used by the XML forms. In your case, you used FAQ web form to create web page and the form is built using XML form.
    Good luck!!!

  • DigiVox A/D - Cannot render audio capture

Hello, i have DigiVOX A/D. I configured it and I can watch TV. But when I try to capture it, there is a "Cannot render audio capture" message. I tried a lot of parameters changes but nothing helped. Can you please help?
    Juso

So I did some more testing. Now it works this way:
I can watch TV and it works OK. When I click capture it doesn't work and it writes error message "Cannot render audio capture". I go to settings and setup to capture only audio. I try to capture. I do some more modifications. It still doesn't work. But on some point of configuration (I could't find exaxtly when) the sound stops during watching. And if I try to capture at that time, it captures OK with audio and video. It doesn't matter whether I use Mpeg 2 or Mpeg 4. Both works. So I think codecs are OK. And it works so (no audio during watching and good audio and video during capture) till I close the application. When I start it again, there is sound when watching and error when clicking capture button. And again I can do some settings modification (random) and after some config steps it start capture but stops audio while watching.

  • Datasource connection failing with error "Cannot open resource"

    Hi All,
I have created a datsource in VA with JDBC 1.X driver type for a SQL Server.
However, now when I try to connect to the datasource from an udf in the Message Mapping, I am getting the below error:
Error: com.sap.engine.services.dbpool.exceptions.BaseSQLException: ResourceException in method ConnectionFactoryImpl.getConnection(): com.sap.engine.services.connector.exceptions.BaseResourceException: Cannot open resource(Managed Connection) with LocalTransaction support or add a second one in the same transaction, for component "webContainer/applications/sap.com/TestDB/TestDB" in application "sap.com/TestDB"
I checked the SAP Help link given below where it is mentioned as a solution that the datasource should be made shareable.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/5c/2f2c4142aef623e10000000a155106/frameset.htm
In SAP Help, it mentions that datasource can be made shareable by modifying the deployment descriptor as mentioned in the link below. However, the datasource was configured in the VA and not deployed using archive. Hence, we do not have a deployment descriptor to modify and redeploy.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwce10/helpdata/en/e8/47591ac2e843d09a374e88b044bda9/frameset.htm
Could you please provide pointers on how configure and make the datasource shareable.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Rosie Sasidharan.

    Hi Rosie ,
This information is really really helpful for me  . I was trying to solve this problem from last 4 days. Today i am able to solve just because of reference given by you.
Once again thank you very much

  • Air 3.2/3.3 with iOS 5.1.1 & 6.0 SDK Beta on iOS 6 Beta cannot render anything at all

    Hi there,
I've just tried to run an air app on iOS 6 but all the vistual elements doesn't render properly, e.g. the tab view cannot render tab icons/tab bar, the action bar cannot render anything at all plus all other components...
Please let me know if you have any idea about that.
    Many thanks.

Firstly the GPU issue has been fixed but the autoOrients property is still not working with the latest "AIR SDK 3.3.0.3690 SDK + iOS 6 Beta 2 SDK" on an iPhone 4S with iOS 6 Beta.
I cannot use this combination below, except I take out the second line:
    <autoOrients>true</autoOrients>
    <aspectRatio>portrait</aspectRatio>

  • "Hardware Cannot Render"  Message!!  ProRes footage.

    Hi all,
I have a brand new G5 2 x 2.26 Quad; 12Gb Ram, and 2 graphics cards (ATI Radeo HD 4870 & NVIDIA GeForce GT120) And have just recently changed from capturing/editing HDV, to ProRes.
When editing HDV I was able to process some effects no problem, but now I am getting this Render Error message - The canvas goes completely red and message says "...The Effect "***" failed to render: Your Hardware cannot render at the requested size and depth!!"
I've tried a google search on this problem, and came across someone saying to change the 'Video Processing' tab to have "Render in 8-bit YUV" option. I did have it set to "render 10-bit YUV material in High Precision YUV" Gave that a go, and it didn't work. Have also come across someone saying that having 2 graphics card might be causing the trouble, and to take one out - but don't want to do that unless it's really necessary.
Can anyone help me clairfy what the problem is and if I can sort it?
    Thanks

    Hi Shane,
I don't mean to question you guys as you are undoubtedly far superior in knowledge to how this works - but I find this really hard to believe, after all, this G5 tower is only 1 month old, and I've got the only 2 graphics cards that mac currently sell on the site :
    ATI Radeon HD 4870
    NVIDIA GeForce GT 120
If anything, I would have thought that it could process my footage NO PROBLEM!
I hope I don't sound too cheeky in my response - as I say - I bow to your superior knowledge.
The filter in motion worked Tom, although I had to render the clip and it gone a bit sluggish (That may be to do with setting up as HDV in Motion and dragging into a Prores timeline?)

  • Error message "cannot open resource file" ID CS6

CS6 InDesign, getting error message "cannot find resource file" Tried deleting prefs but didn't work.

I'm sorry. I'm running OS 10.7.5 and had previous error messages about several plugins not loading due to color panel missing. Deleted prefs, added color panel back with Manage Extensions then got the "cannot open resource file" error. I know the error message above is different and I thought I had fixed it but somehow it didn't change when I updated my post. I also have a couple of old versions of CS on my computer and I don't know if I should uninstall those or if it doesn't matter. I don't know how to do that, either. I'm not very computer literate so every problem is difficult for me. Thank you.
