Cannot stop the ds!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi,
i want to retransmit the incoming stream while is being received. For this, i create (correctly) cloneables from the original ds and clones from the cloneable. I use the first cloneable for playing the video and the clones of the 2nd one for transmit. Everything is working fine but the problem is that when the 1st client transmits the (receiving)video, to the 2nd client, the 2nd one receives it not from the beggining but from the point that the first one is currently receiving it. So, i tried to stop the clones. This is why i create 2 cloneable. That means, i tried to stop the 2nd cloneable in order its clones to be stopped and i start it for the transmission. Unfortunately the problem remains. Just for checking, i tried to stop the original ds to see if the client has control over the incoming stream. The video kept on playing. So, i supposed that it is due to the nature of the ds. I mean that the transmission starts from the server's side so the ds is PushBufferDataSource. According to JMFGuide, when using a PushBufferDataSource only the server has control over the flow of the data. So, i tried (again for checking) to stop the ds at server's side. The transmission took place normally and the client received the video with no problems!!!
Now i am confused. I think i am doing sth wrong with the stop method.
Any help will be greately appreciated!!!
Thanks

Hi,
it's me again. I found where the problem was thx to this post
http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jspa?forumID=28&threadID=667817
The cloneable must play, being processed/ transmitted etc ( thanks jcparques)
However, i still have a question: can i create 2 cloneables and use one for receiving and the 2nd one for transmitting or not? Because after the stop problem is solved, i try to stop only the 2nd one but the 1st one is also stopped. So almost nothing is received :(
And a last thing: after starting the cloneable it will start from the point it was stopped or from a point to which it would be if there was no stop???
Thanksss

  • Using 6.0. Cannot stop the search engine "ASK" from loading. How do I get rid of it completely?

I am using ver 6.0. I continually keep getting the search engine "ASK" as my primary search engine altho I continually either drop it down the list or even delete it! How can I permanently delete it? It comes back after a shutdown of firefox or a computer reboot.

    Hi
I had this issue too after installing a couple of fileserve download programs.
It is pretty simple to stop firefox jumping to this earch engine.
    In your firefox browser type
    about:config
It will ask are you sure that you are going to be careful.
    Select yes
In the filter bar type fileserve
For all of the results that it shows Right click and select reset
This will take your system back to normal

I just installed the Oracle Express 10 on a LINUX machine. I will stop it according the Oracle document with:

This is because the process to stop the JVM is also trying to use the same host/port combination for the remote JRockit monitoring as the same setDomainEnv script is likely called in either case. What you want to do is ignore those options when launching the JVM (the WLST script) that tells the server to shut down.

Where do you add -Xmanagement... to your jvm parameters?
If you do it in setDomainEnv I guess you will get the described behaviour.
If so, could you move -Xmanagment.. to startWeblogic or some other script that starts the jvm instance you actually want to monitor with Mission Control?
(Not sure if this is the proper way to do it, but at least it could work)

  • Cannot stop slow motion (slo-mo) capture on iPhone 6 plus

On my iPhone 6 plus I have been done a little bit of recording using the slow-motion mode. I'm able to do this successfully when the length of the clip is 10-20 seconds. One time the recording exceeded perhaps 1-2 min, then I cannot stop the recording. Finally I turned off the phone and lost the recording. Is this a known problem? Any suggestions?

Having a simlar issue.  I recorded video on at 240 fps on my 6 Plus.  The video went into the "slo mo" folder and has the gear icon thing in the corner indicating it was captured that way.  When I try to play the videos back on my iPhone they play at a normal 30 fps.  There is no slider to adjust the speed.  I have NOT sync'd with iTunes at all.  I shot the video and and tried to play it back about an hour later.  I tried restarting the iPhone but that did not help.

  • HT1689 why is rental movie from itunes taking hours yo download. 5.5 gigabites. cannot stop download

trying to down load a movie on my new expensive  I pad. Taking hours. Says 5.5 gb cannot stop the download either

The time it takes is dependent on your internet speed. Check www.speedtest.net
6mbps is required for instant HD (you can switch to SD in the settings)
As said above ATV does not store content. Turning off or accessing other content will indeed flush the rental (requiring reload)
Netflix uses a different system where it streams instantly and adapts based on your connection. iTunes is quality is fixed and will only start once enough has buffered in order to play without inturruption.
The suggestion about renting via the computer is appropriate if on a slow connection or if you wish to store for later viewing.

Nightmare scenario, MobileMe is transferring photos, even though I've already made the transfer and freezing iPhoto at the same time. I cannot stop the transfer. Help!!

Quit - or force quit - iPhoto.
Then relaunch. When the "Mobile Me has ended" panel appears press the "Learn More" button, not the "o.k." button.
Then you should be able to open the Preferences in iPhoto and and open the "Accounts" panel. Remove "Mobile Me" from the iPhoto Accounts.
Then also open the System preferences > Mobile Me panel and sign out of Mobile Me.
If this does not work, try to disconnect from the Internet before you launch iPhoto again.

  • My iPhone 4S has stopped receiving iMessages, cannot send/load any pictures over whatsapp, cannot join the wifi in my house anymore. What has happened to my iPhone i haven't made any changes?

My iPhone 4S has stopped receiving/sending iMessages, cannot send/load any pictures over whatsapp and cannot join the wifi in my house anymore.
Essentially all the things I use my phone for have now stopped working. I constantly have 3G connected (even though i dont want to use it, i want to connect to the wifi in my house) but still when I try to download/ send a picture over whatsapp it comes up with an error message saying the server is unverified, or something equally ridiculous.
I deleted the app so i could reinstall it (as if that would help), but the app store is started saying "unable to connect", despite 3G, so that bright idea died out pretty sharpish.
Whenever i try to turn on iMessage, it asks for my Apple ID password, which I know I've typed in correctly because I reset the **** thing about 4 times due to it apparently being "incorrect". Even so, it repeatedly asks for the password over and over as soon as I've entered it, saying it was "unable to connect" before a final "incorrect password" message pops up just to add an extra smack of annoyance.
I haven't changed a single setting on my iPhone whatsoever. It just suddenly started spiralling into what is now £28/month-worth of pure frustration.
I don't even have any music or photos on it as I had to free up 3.5GB of space on the **** thing to allow it to update, naively thinking that would solve the problem, but alas it did not.
I have seen a few questions posted like this one, usually just one of the problems I have, but I seem to have rounded up the whole bunch (lucky me). None of the previously posted questions have received any replies.
Can some please help me! Honestly, if i see another "unable to..." or "unverified source" pop up again I'll probably smash the thing against the side of my house.
    Cheers.

On your iPad, go to [Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings] Once that is done, re-connect your iPad to your wifi network.

I clicked on iMessage on my Macbook Pro today for the first time, and now NOTES keeps opening up every 5 seconds, with a new note.  I cannot stop it from opening. If I close it or force close, it opens again in 5 seconds.  I can't get rid of it.  I have tried to clear out the iMessage settings I had put in, and I've tried to adjust the Accounts to not include notes to synch.  But, Notes will not stop.  It opens a new note, and even if you ignore it, it assumes preference every 5 seconds, and the Mac is impossible to use.

Do you have any Boot Camp or other secondary partitions set up on your system? If so then try running a disk verification routine (chkdsk, etc.) in Windows to repair the disk. While I've not heard of it happening recently, in the past errors in these partitions have resulted in stubborn ghost files appearing in OS X.
