Cannot view email accounts or list-only the most recent email

Hi,
For some reason, I cannot view the email IDs configured on my phone, or the emails in those IDs. All i can see is the last email sent to me, with the From and to fields and text of the email. There are no back, reply, delete etc button, and I cant just swipe it away either. Any suggestions?

Hello,
Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache.
Note: ''This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to.''
To clear cache and cookies do the following:
#Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
#Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
#Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.
#Now click the ''Clear now'' button.

That's correct, multi-value attributes do not support this in Endeca.
If you're looking to do it, I would keep writing your updates to the multi-value attribute (to maintain the functionality that depends on this attribute and its multiple values) and also write it to a separate single-value that is constantly being updated, rather than appended to.
Something like:
One attribute called MyValueMulti as a multi-assign.
AND
One attribute called MyValueLatest as a single-assign.

On a IPad is there a restriction to the number of emails it access? Say there's 100 messages in my inbox but when I look at my inbox on my Ipad it will only show 50 of the most recent emails. Is there a way to see all 100?

Not sure whether you are saying that you have more than 200 emails in your Inbox, or that 200 are in the Inbox and the others are in other folders. If the first then (I don't have more than 200 emails in my Inbox) but if you do and want to load more then do you not get a Load More Messages option if you scroll down to the bottom of your Inbox ?
If you want to be able to search multiple email folders then I don't think that you can do it within the Mail app itself, but the spotlight search screen (swipe your first homescreen to the right) can - you can control what is searched by spotlight via Settings > General > Spotlight Search

To change info in library file then info, only the most recent cd's allow me to change info, all others 14,000, do not, any ideas???

I suspect a permissions problem. This can happen when a library is moved between systems or the system is upgraded to a new version of Windows.
Right-click on your main iTunes folder (or ithe Tunes Media folder if that is elsewhere) and click Properties, then go to the Security tab and click Advanced. If necessary grant your account and SYSTEM full control of this folder, subfolders and files, then tick the option to replace permissions on child objects which will repair permissions throughout the library. This is the XP dialog but Windows 7 shouldn't be too different.
If it won't let you change the permissions use the Owner tab to take ownneship from an account with administror privileges.

How do I change mail so only the most recent mail from a person opens?

When I open mail and go to a new mail all of the files/documents that, that person has ever sent me from previous days open as well. The other emails that I do not want also show up on the right side of my mail in the preview the document part. How do I change it so that I only see the email I am clicking on not a scrolling document of all of the mail items the sender has sent me. Also how do I change it so I only see the most recent item (the one I am clicking on) in the preview email on the right side? Thanks

How to return only the most recent row?

Hi guys,
I have a question which I am hoping is not too difficult but I just am not sure how to do it. I need to run a query on a table which may bring back multiple rows for my criteria, however I only want to bring back 1 of these multiple rows and the one I want to bring back has to be the most recent. I do have a date_created column on my table as well as a date_last_updated column. So basically using the select statement below as an example this query could return lets say 5 rows, I however only want it to return the most recent row and the most recent row is determined by the date_last_updated (which will only be populated if the record has been updated otherwise it is null) or the date_created fields.
select * from my_table
where model_id = 234
Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

order by creation_date desc)
where rownum = 1This does not guarantee that you will get the most recent in cases of records being created at exactly the same time, but if your table has a prime key then you could use this as the order by to get the same effect, though if say 5 records are inserted as a batch what does it really mean to be inserted last....

Show only the most recent event in XML list based on date

Hello,
I'm working with Spry and an XML list of events for my site.
Displaying the full list of events isn't a problem. However, I'd like to display only the next upcoming event, based on the date.
For instance, today is April 27th. I'd like to be able to display only the next upcoming event which happens to be on May 3rd. Then once that date passes, the next upcoming event is shown (May 17th).
Can anyone give me a hand?

I can get the statement to work, but I'm having trouble trying to figure out how to use the results. I can run the IF statement, and it checks the first value in the XML list. Since the first item in the list is older than the date I input, it just returns "false". I'm not really sure how I can make it return just the first entry that is "true".
Secondly, I'm not sure how to get it to use the "Current Date" without manually entering the date in the if statement. Is there an easy way I can get the system date for it to check with?

I am unable to open a certain type of email. It has only the sender's email, subject, but no where to open the message. I have about one out of 10 emails like t

email.This happens about 1 of 10 emails. I can't open them or respond or add to my contacts.

I found the answer. Opened a new email message to my friend (which showed both the old aol email address
and her new one). Then went to Window on the Menu bar and scrolled down to previous recipients. This time clicking on that opened a window in the email showing allPrevious Recipients and lo and behold, when I scrolled down to her old AOL address and removed it in that window, I was finally rid of it. I don't remember that this window opened before giving me the opportunity to visit it, but maybe it was just below what I could see. Hope this helps others with this problem

I have a newer version of flash player installed then what is listed as the most recent version??

I am checking the version i have installed of flash player via the adobe version check option at the site and i have version 11.8.800.94 and when i check the list of the latest versions of Adobe, i see 11.7.700.169 listed as being the latest vversion. How can i have a version installed that's above that? I haven't installed a beta version, never signed up for beta testing and all i did was install the latest version of flash player via the website.
I am wondering what this is cause recently when viewing videos on youtube, my videos tend to hang up or end halfway through and think the video ended when it's not. My guess now is that i have sumhow obtained a version of flash player that's not correct and thus why the videos go haywire now. Re-installing flash player sets it back to the 11.8 version again, so that didn't work.
Any information any1 might have that can solve this is much appreciated.

How can I use only the most recent data in an average?

I have a class which has regular listening quizzes. If a student's average from the last three tests falls below 10 points (out of 20), then that student has to come in for extra practice.
My Sheets are set up with the students' names running down column A. Test 1 is column B. A a check box for whether students handed in the pre-listening homework is in column C. The test and homework column pattern is continued for tests 1 through 20.
I then have an average for all the tests for that student further over to the right.
Next to the overall average, I would like to make a column with an average showing only the latest three test scores. So, for example, the students have just finished test 10, the average of test 10, 9 and 8 would appear, but everything prior to that would be ignored.
I appreciate any suggestions on a formula for how I could make that happen.

Here's one approach. Note that I used Header Columns to make the programming easier. If you choose not to use Header Columns, you can adjust the formulas to account for the difference.
The formula in Overall Average is: =IFERROR(AVERAGE(2:2), 0) for Alice. Fill Down.
The formula in Last Three Scores average is: =IF(COUNT(2:2)<3, B, AVERAGE(OFFSET(D2, 0, (COUNT(2:2)-3)*2, 1, 6))) for Alice. Fill Down.

How do I get a list of the most recent upgraded packages?

Hi there,
I want to get a list of the last upgrades using pacman.
I´ve been looking for a way to do it in the man page, but either I´m blind or there is not such an option.
I know that I can just do:
ls --sort time /var/cache/pacman/pkg/|head
But what if I clean the cache regularly?
Does the pacman database store the upgrade or installation date for each package? If so, how can I access this data?

Edit: I know that "pacman -Qi" gives me the date of installation of individual packages, but what I want is to be able to sort the list of all installed packages by date.

I would prefer if pacman had some option for sorting the queries, but for now, this will do fine.

Why does the education section limit you to only the most recently released apps of a type such as communication, special education?

I realize the education section is huge, and appreciate the attempts to group like apps, but it still wont let me get to those updated or published, say, last spring. They are all the "top 20" or most recent. There used to be a choice called "all apps" but I dont see it in the education apps section like I do in other sections.

There may be other ways, but if you go back to the main iTunes Store page and select Browse, then App Store -> Education, you'll see all the apps available. You can sort by release date, which I believe is the default or by the other columns.

Suggestions have pointed me towards finding prefs.js file, but I can't find it (library/mozilla, libary/application support/mozilla not there nor in search function)
Tried with showing hidden files too.
Really a pain as I need the more active accounts on top opened but not enough room with less active accounts stuck in the middle.
No RSS feeds, local folders on bottom OK.
Just want to change the order but can't seem to find the solution.

Is there any way to take these backup fragments from my second to last backup and turn them into a usable backup? iTunes is showing me only the most recent.

Ok. When I synced today at 5:10PM, it backed up. Somehow, that sync deleted Garageband and all it's data (like the song I've been working on for a month), presumably because it was updated today. Before I realized this, I had synced again (10:02 pm). So iTunes only shows me THAT backup. I can see a bunch of files from the 5:10 backup. Apple told me that you, Obi-wan, the community, are pretty much my only hope. Have one of you guys (or gals) figured out how to do this?

Show only a few of the most recent Gmail emails in Mail (use for sending)

Hello,
I recently set up Apple Mail, and even though I like the program a lot - I prefer to use Gmail to read and manage my emails. However, Mail is built in to many other Leopard applications, so I would prefer to use it with those (for sending purposes), such as in Preview. Therefore, I would like to know how to do the following:
- Make it not alter anything in my Gmail inbox
- Make it receive only a few of the most recent emails - or none
Would I have to use it through POP or IMAP for these things?

if you set up as pop, then you can choose the option to download from the day you created the account forward, thereby limiting the amount of emails that will be downloaded to mail. you would first have to enable pop in gmail>settings. with pop if you make a change in mail, in say your inbox, then that change will not be reflected in gmail on the web.
if you set up as imap, then what you see in gmail will be the same as what you see in mail as far as your emaisl/mailboxes... and chnages you make on one will be shown on the other.
