Cant restore Iphone 3G after failed install of OS 4
Hi ppl, I tried to update my iphone 3G with the new OS4. I downloaded and installed the new itunes 9.2 beta along with os4. The initial setup went well but the I had an unknown 2006 error along with this code.

I cant restore my iphone 3G to 3.1.3 firmware. It's like the phone is stuck in recovery mode.

You're in a mess because you installed two pieces of software that have not been released yet and are still in beta. If you were a registered developer(I'm guessing you're not) you'd have access to the developer forums to post your question. You're only solution is to wait until the software is OFFICIALLY released or use google & hope you don't end up making your phone permanently inoperable.

I have download iOs 7 from the internet and didn't know it was illegal.
I had used ios 7 but suddenly my iphone crashed and now, if i connect it to my pc it says cant restore iphone "No developpers acount"
Help I cant do anything now HELP PLEASEEE!!!!Either pay to join the developers program or get yourself a phone you can use until iOS 7 is released in the fall.
Next time maybe you'll think twice before bootlegging software. -

Apple Configurator will not restore any iPhone 4S after the latest update (ERROR: Unable to prepare)and iTunes gives the error 3194. But all usual 3194 fixes don't work and this happens exclusively on the 4S.
Tested on 15 different iPhone 4S's
Using 4 Mac Minis and 8 different Windows 7 machines.
Hosts files have not been altered.
Latest version of iTunes / Configurator on all.
Both have been removed and reinstalled.
No dice.Ok, well after two days of recieving nothing but the usual generic template response from the "support team" the only thing i was sure of was that my original message had not been read at all.
I was able to fix the issue myself though, so i'll leave this here in case someone else is unfortunate enough to have the same issue:
It appears for whatever reason Apple Configurator removed the previous versions of iOS itself before attempting to download iOS 7, the only conclusion i could draw was that for whatever reason the download failed and i was left without a firmware file both the iPhone 4S and the iPhone 5. Older handsets were unaffected.
To fix this, simply download the firmware from http://www.ipswdownloader.com/
Then (if you're on a Mac) navigate to: Library/Containers/com.apple.configurator/Data/Library/Caches/com.apple.configu rator/Firmware and copy the new .ipsw into that folder.
Restart configurator and you will be good to go.
Porbably worth mentioning I spoke to my colleages in the US and they we're having the exact same issue ever since last weeks Configurator upgrade so why the support team are still sending templates out asking users to go on a wild goose chase with things like "Are you SURE you have the latest version of "XYZ" are you SURE you have rebooted the machine, are you SURE blah blah blah"
YES. I'm sure. I know what i'm talking about, I work in the industry and this is not another generic fault and you do not have a fix published yet.
How about listening to what the users are ACTUALLY saying before emailing this rubbish out?

Cant restore iphone, Turn off "find my iphone" and i have "no service"
I recently got my new iphone 5 and I installed the new IOS 7 from my PC, my iphone worked fine, with service and everything.
I restored my iphone from my old iphone 4 backup on my pc, and now I dont get a PIN code question when starting, cant turn off icloud or "find my iphone" that is required to restore my iphone to a clean slate.
Whats should i do?
I have tried following:
- Airplane mode
- Turn off and on iphone
- Turned off iphone with the dubblebutton execution
- tried turning on PIN code in the settings ( the button is all grey when I try)
- Tried restoring it from PC and on the phone itself ( requieres to turn off "find my iphone, wich i cant )Did you get this figured out? I'm having hte same issue

I keep getting error message 1 after trying to restore my non-jailbreaked iPhone 4 after trying to upgrading it to IOS 5. The phone only displays a picture of the iTunes logo and a USB cable. I have tried everything I could find on the internet such as holding the homebutton while connecting the phone to iTunes, restarting the computer, switching computers, restore with another cable, take out the simcard etc. It works fine until the verry end, that's when I get the message. Please help!
Try downloading the 3rd party application called "Tiny Umbrella". While it isn't a software distributed by Apple it will be able to kick your iPhone out of the boot loop.

Can't find routing connectors as shell won't find exchange server after failed install
I am trying to uninstall exchange 2010 after a failed install. When attempting to remove the Hub role I get an error that the computer is configured as a bridgehead server for 2 routing groups. I have seen how to find and remove them through the cmd shell,
however, due to the failed install (and the other bridgehead having a huge raid failure and being bricked) I can't locate the connection through the exchange shell. Any ideas on how to delete this connection so I can uninstall 2010 in order to re-install it.Hi,
Can you set the Exchange 2003 server as the bridge head then try uninstalling the Exchange 2010 server again.

IPhone sync after freshly installing Leopard
So today I finally got Leopard in. So I decided to back up all my photos and music on my iPhone and just sync it back into iTunes and iPhoto after I install a fresh copy of Leopard on my computer. So I tried to sync my iPhone to iTunes AFTER I authorized the computer and it only transfered over my "purchased" songs. I want to transfer all my songs (including many mp3's) and my photos as well. What am I doing wrong? Am I missing something?
Also, everytime I try to sync it it tells me that this iPhoto is synced with another library...but that library was completed deleted when I erased my disk to install a fresh copy of Leopard.
Ideas???I like how sure everyone is that you can't transfer your photos, videos and pictures from your iPhone to your computer. Don't listen to them. Just do a google search on transfering stuff from iPhone to your computer and you'll see some programs, like Tansee iPhone Copy Pack 1.0, you can download. You can probably find one that has a 30 day trial period which should be enough time to get all your stuff back on your computer.
