An easy route is to sign-in to iTunes Store with your Apple Id.  From the store home screen you can access iTunes Match from the Quicklinks provided in the store view.

  • Why can't I see iTunes Match?

    Hi,
I have installed latest updates on Macbook and iPad, but can't see iTunes Match icon anywhere.
Are there any territorial restrictions (I'm living in Europe) or what? I checked some tips and when it shall appear, I don't have it.
    Thanks for help,
    Michal

iTunes Match is only available in the U.S. for now. Apple is most likely still working on negotiating contracts with the relevant rights holders for other parts of the world.

iTunes stores the music in a library..

Accessing files in libraries especially covered by digital rights is something Apple specialises in making obscure.

  • ATV second gen not seeing iTunes Match

Home sharng, iTunes match and all other related settings are correct, but I cannot see my iTunes match music on ATV. It  sees only the music actually saved on local computer. iPhone and iPad see and play all my music. On the computer in iTunes, I can select iTunes match music and ATV speaker and it streams the sound to ATV, and album cover is displayed. Have tried resetting ATV, re-installing iTunes, resetting router and computer, turning off and back on homesharing and iTunes match. all to no avail.
Okay, I wanted to try one last thing to try and fix this, and it did. Here is how, for others who might have the same problem:
    1. On ATV main screen select the music icon.
    2. On upper row of options, select "My Music". ATV gives message that its setting up the library. Voila!
This is not mentioned in all the docmentation I have read.
    Hope this may help someone,
    Pete

Match is visible on the MBP.  I have gone through the discussion thread you linked, thanks.
After I cleared the Match cache on the MBP, thought that was doing the trick, as it took a long time (several hours) to complete the update of Match, but after it completed I was still only shown the music that resides on the MBP and nothing from the cloud.
On the MBP, all the songs are showing as 'Waiting' in iTunes Match status - this includes songs which I had previously transferred to the MBP through Home Sharing prior to signing up with Match.
So it seems to me that for some reason the MBP is just not connecting with the cloud...
Thanks for your help so far.

  • Cant find ITunes Match on my phone

I downloaded the ITunes Match on my laptop but I cant find Match on my iphone3gs. Ive got iCloud on my phone and that works ok with other apps.
I've gone through all the updates and am sure Ive got the latest operating system.
    Help please...

I am onboard a US Navy ship, so I can't connect my personal device to the internet right now.  My iPhone has iTunes Match enabled, but obviously, can't access the cloud right now.  I have my laptop, which has all of my media files saved to the hard drive.  I would like to be able to copy music from my laptop to my iPhone so I can use it as a music player at my desk.  (I am accessing this site from my work computer.)
When I try to sync or copy music from my laptop to my iPhone, it does not allow me to copy the music over.  When I try to disable iTunes Match on my phone, I do not have any iTunes Match options in the settings app, or in the music app.  In the settings app, I've checked under General, iCloud, and Music sections.  Under the Music section, my only options are Shake to Shuffle, Sound Check, EQ, Volume Limit, Lyrics & Podcast Info, and Group By Album Artist.  There are no media-related options under iCloud (I am unable to access iCloud Account Information since I do not have internet connectivity).  Wi-Fi Sync is enabled as well.  I have connected my iPhone to my laptop using an Ad-hoc Wi-Fi connection with no issues (my iPhone shows up in iTunes on my laptop).
In iTunes on my laptop, there are no options associated with iTunes Match.  When reviewing my iPhone with iTunes on my laptop, the Music tab only has the Voice Memos option.  If I drag some music files from my music library to my iPhone, I get an error stating that iTunes Match is enabled.

  • Not seeing iTunes Match music on second computer

I have an iMac and a MacBook Pro.  My iMac is my main music storage and iTunes Match is active on there and has been manually Updated recently.
I don't see all my music in the Cloud on my MacBook Pro.
I have iTunes Match turned on
I have recently hit the Update iTunes Match option
I have iTunes set to "Show Music in the Cloud"
    What am I missing?

  • Justbought new ipad and cant see itunes on it?

I just bought a new ipad air nd have 2 questions....
Firstly I dont see an itunes app on it, do I need to download as thought it would be on it?
Secondly how do I put a movie onto my ipad thats on my laptop without bringing all music across too??
    Thanks

iTunes is only on your computer. There is no iTunes for an iDevice.
iTunes has a separate section called Movies from which you can select which movies to sync to the iPad.

  • ITunes Match Sync Issues - pls help!!

I have itunes on my PC and wanted to be able to play/access my itunes & playlists from my ipad mini, so i thought itunes match would help with this.
The problem is that itunes match only shows songs that i have recently purchased on my ipad or my ipod. My ipod is now useless as it is only synching the songs i have purchased since getting itunes match. Which are very few.
I have heard that i need to delete all my songs on my hard drive and download all songs from the iCloud as solution. Doesn't sound right. If i stop using itunes match, then i lose all my playlists. I can deal with that, but then i dont have access to my songs from my ipad either, which is useful for the wireless speakers that are around the house. Frustrated to say the least.
I am sure i cant be the only person with this issue. Hope someone can help.

  • Itunes match  how do you to select multiple songs or do you click each one

In ITunes match  how do you to select multiple songs to download to pc or do you have to click each one.

First make sure you have the current version of iTunes, which is actually 10.5.1.  I had to manually download it from apples website, for some reason, it wouldnt auto-update.
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Once that is complete, go to the iTunes store. In the Quick Links secion to the right, you should see iTunes Match. This will prompt you to activate your subscription to iTunes match.  After that it should ask you to add your computer and once youve done that, it should begin the process of scanning your library and adding it to the cloud
Alternatively, once you activate your subscription, you can also go to the Store dropdown menu in iTunes and select Turn On iTunes Match.

  • ITunes Match - how do I begin?

Okay, this sounds really stupid, but I can't seem to understand how to enable iTunes Match. On my iPhone, in the Settings > Music > iTunes Match, when I switch to ON, I get the following dialog box message:
"You are not currently subscribed to iTunes Match. Use iTunes on your computer to subscribe."
Fair enough. I have looked all over iTunes (and YES, I am using the current version of iTunes - iTunes 10.5 (141)), but I cannot find or have not yet seen any item in iTunes that explicitly allows me to enable iTunes Match. I have scoured the iTunes Preferences, each and every pull-down menu and looked all over the screens, but to no avail. I searched the Apple website and Support site, but could not find any clear documentation on how to enable iTunes Match.
Could someone please give me a clue? (Insert snide jokes here.) Thank you!

  • Itunes Match Family Sharing Not Working

    Hello,
My parents have purchased iTunes Match, and they have also enabled ITunes family sharing, with my father's account being the "organizer" and my mother's being an authorized user.  I have checked both their phones, and all iCloud/iTunes Match functionalities are turned on on both their phones.  However, whenever my father purchases music through iTunes on his phone or computer, only sometimes does the content show up on iTunes on my Mother's phone, other times it does not.  Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is there some hidden functionality that needs to be turned on?  I am not inexperienced with tech issues, but I cannot figure out for the life of me why this issue is recurring.

    Hello Jimzgoldfinch,
After reading through the forums, I see iTunes Match does not work with family sharing.  I believe that I may have conflated my issue.  My parents are not having a problem with iTunes Match songs (songs uploaded to iCloud from computer) not being shared.  Instead, they are having issues with songs purchased from iTunes directly not being shared across both their accounts.  The issue occurs regardless of whether the songs are purchased by my father, the "organizer" of the iTunes sharing, or by my mother.
Am I correct in assuming (since I was not the one to setup iTunes Family Sharing, and have not dealt with it before) that iTunes Sharing is supposed to allow music purchased by any of the accounts associated with the family "organizer" to be accessed by all of the accounts associated?  This assumes, again, that the content is shareable (which the website says iTunes music purchased from iTunes is).
If I need to repost this question in a different forum, I will do so.
Thanks for the help so far.

  • ITunes Match Help Needed

I recently bought a new Macbook pro and i have a windows computer that had itunes match on it, i connected my ipad and synced it to my macbook but now i cant get itunes match is there a way i can change my itunes match from my other itunes onto this one? Not just adding it as one of my 10 devices.

Try turning itunes match off or stopping it.
Update genius and then restart itunes match.
that normally helps with the step one freezing process.
    store>turn itunes match off
store>update genuis(please allow genius to completely finish and you have to click the done button before moving on.)
    store>turn itunes match on
Yes, you want to add the device.
    Step one should proceed.
