Capacity load_planned order

Hi Friends,
I have created my work center in CR01. While creating work center in "capacities"tab i have selected "Finite scheduling"indicator.
Now i wants to see my capacity load in CM02. If i execute CM02, system is bringing only my planned orders only. It is not bringing my production orders. Why? Even in capacity leveling(CM22) also i am getting only planned order, not production orders.
Please guide me, how to display production orders in those t.codes (CM02, CM22)?
Thanks
Senthil

Hi Senthil,
if you create the production order manually then go to tab "control data" and switch on the check-box "calculate capacity reqs.".
If you want to have this switch to be set by default (and also during automatic creation of production orders) go to the customizing transaction OPU3 double click your order type and switch on the check-box "generate capacity reqs.".
Background: Only if capacity requirements are created for the production order you will see it in "capacity transactions".
Best regards
Thomas

  • Oracle i Supplier Portal Workflows - Supplier Change Order Workflow

    Hi Friends,
Oracle iSupplier Portal uses the following workflows:
    ■ Supplier Change Order Workflow
    ■ Update Capacity Workflow
    ■ Order Modifiers Workflow
    ■ Advance Shipment Notice (ASN) Workflow
    ■ Purchase Order Acknowledgement (handled by PO Approval Workflow)
My problem is related to - 'Supplier Change Order workflow'
I would like know is there are any changes in the work Flow - 'Supplier change order Work flow' in 11.5.10 to 11.5.8
    If yes,kindly list the changes.
    Thanks in advance!
    Thanks & Regards
    Dilip Nomula

The best way to determine this would be to download the workflow into a wft file from 11.5.8 and 11.5.10 instances and run a simple Unix diff command on these two wft files. I do not believe you will find any documentation that will list differences at this level of detail.

  • Capacity Planning for workcentre  employees

I need to do the planning for my capacities on SAP MRS board but before that I need to understand the capacity planning like Capacitive planning, abstract planning etc. or in other words like if someone can explain the step by step how to do the capacity planning, explaining all this will be a great help.

    Gary,
    Available Capacity:
Capacities is driven from the work centre settings in the Capacities tab (specifically the button at the bottom of this tab). These values determine the length of the working day, breaks, number of workers and efficiency - resulting in the daily amount of hours available at the work centre.
    Capacity Usage:
Order operations are then created and loaded with work centre and hours, and dependent upon the operation control key settings, will then start to "consume" some of the above daily capacity.
Here is a comprehensive PDF document on the subject
    Hope this helps..

  • Capacity leveling - Priority logic

Can anyone explain the logic of SNP Capacity leveling order prioritization when set with ‘No priority’?
I have tested this with ‘No priority’, but the system is applying priority by ‘order size’ on the net demand in a bucket (considering demands not fulfilled in backward propagation).

My question is about the capacity leveling profile that you define in SPRO / main menu / during leveling in planning book. In the profile, we can define one of the following for priority
    - No priority
    - By order size
    - By product priority (from product master field in SNP2 tab)
My question is related to the first option of 'No priority'. When using that option 1, system behaves as if option 2 (Order size) is chosen. I want to know the standard logic that should be applied by the system.

  • Deallocate in Production Order

Can anybody throw some light on the facility "<b>Deallocate</b>" available in Production order under the menu functions.  Not able to get much help in SAP material.

    Kiki

    Hi Kiki,
There are two terms attached to this. One is despatching and the other is deallocating.
Despatching means you are despatching operations manually without taking capacity details into consideration.
Deallocation is the opposite of despatching. If you want to remove the operation that you hve despatched then you can use the deallocate function.
You can find the graphical view from the following path.

    Hi,
The WLC that we have currently supports maximum of 12 APs, if u need to support more then we need to buy a WLC which supports more APs..

  • Capacity booking

    Hi
My client wants to book capacity for MTO scenario in advance.
How to do it for MTO scenario. ?

    Dear,
It is not possible in standard SAP. System will reserve the capacity when order will be there.
So in MTO if you use the planning strategy 82 Assembly processing w. production orders system will create production order while creating sales order and same time capacity also get book for it.

  • Hard drive failure codes - please advise

    Hi,
HP Dv6 Laptop - Product No.: A7N52EA#ABU. Laptop Serial No. 2CE148345f
I have a 11 month old HP Dv6 Laptop and Just before Christmas 2013, the laptop started experiencing several blue screens saying the hard disk is becoming unstable and also the one blue stop screen which need a hard boot from the on/off button.  The laptop will boot to desktop (apart from the blue screens mentioned before), however, it is experiencing very regularly black screens  leading to the laptop running extremely slow at start-up and impossible to use sometimes, leading to the laptop hanging with a black screen waiting for the desktop to load which is very frustrating as it used to be very fast and from one day to the next this happened and has remained ever since. I thought it was since several windows updates one night before Christmas 2013....well that's what I thought.
Simple things have become painful to do such as just loading photos or simply copying and than pasting text. I get these hanging delays (but it does do eventually if patient).
So I ran the HP diagnostic tool at start-up with the F2 button and ran both the startup test and hard disk test. The result and this is my concern, is that the hard disk short DST has failed with several failure codes, all similar but slightly different: GTSEL0-6J770R-QFPH4K-60T303,  GTSEL0-6J770Q-QFPH4K-60TK03, GTSEL0-6J770S-QFPH4K-60SK03 which are all hard disk failure codes I understand according to failure codes listed in this forum. I tried running the longer advanced hard disk scan but immediately these failure codes appear and says to contact HP with codes.
My question - Is my hard disk at risk of imminent failure and needs replacing with all thats been happening - blue screens rarely / black hanging screens a lot of the time?
I thought my laptop was still under warranty as when I check this on bootup in the bios it says the warranty started in March 2013. I bought the laptop new in Feb 2013 with what i thought was a 12 month warranty off an Ebay seller. However, I run the HP warranty check on this website and it says that it has expired on 10/4/13 which is curious!
Would welcome any assistance or technical advice you can offer me as I don't know what to do next.
    Regards
    Steve

With DST failures the hard drive definitely needs to be replaced. You will also need Recovery Discs to install your OS and software/drivers. Hopefully you made a set using HP Recovery Manager?
Your laptop has a 750GB hdd and you will need one of at least that capacity in order to use Recovery Discs. Laptop hdds can be purchased quite reasonably and are easy to change.
Your Maintenance & Service Manual will be helpful in replacing the drive.

As far as Warranty- it is hard to determine exact date when purchasing from a third party seller. The warranty may have started when he purchased it for resale.

  • Best Bit Rate for Better sound

I’m new to the iTunes/iPod thing. A friend told me that he re-sets the bit rate from the default of 128 kpbs to the top of 320 kbps for better quality. [He plays everything off of his computer which is wired to speakers throughout his house and does not travel or drive much so hardly uses his iPod.] I played around a tad with the various rates on the same album and found that a fairly short one used 34.9 MB at 128 kbps, 52.1 MB at 192 kbps, 60.8 MB at 224 kbps and 86.6 MB at 340 kbps. Another friend told me that he noticed a big difference when he played a song off his iPod through his several thousand dollar system if it was imported at 128 kbps. While hard disc space is cheap and I would simply opt for the higher quality setting, the iPods are not so big when one almost triples the file size.
I tried to figure out what the max bit rates in the CDs are so that could guide the max import rate, but I could not and that question may make no sense at all anyway.
What is the max that a human can notice the difference at and what have folks found to be the best balance between sound quality and storage space?
    Thanks for your help.
    PC   Windows XP

Monty, this is really going to be up to your ears to decide. All I can tell you is my experience during the 2+ years of owning an iPod. I initially thought AAC @ 128 was satisfactory. I then started experimenting with various bitrates, but kept the AAC format. I decided that 192 was a discernible improvement over the 128. Not to go into a lot of detail, but I, quite by accident, had one album download at 256 & thought, "Wow, this is unbelievably better sound, even over inexpensive computer speakers." At that point, I started importing everything in AAC @ 256 VBR which I feel is pretty darn close to CD quality sound. I have a 60GB iPod that I'm willing to sacrifice some capacity in order to ensure the best audio quality I can. This is also why I do not buy frequently from the iTunes store as I do not feel the 128 downloads are the best quality. I buy & my own CD's, now, to insure good quality. I will by the occasional song from the store when I do not care to buy the whole CD. Hope this helps!

  • Import directly to time capsule

i'm looking for additional hard drive space for image storage. Two questions. Is it possible to set up time capsule as a stand alone hard drive? and can aperture be configured to import directly to time capsule?

Short answer:  what Frank said (cross-posted my answer).  Read below for, essentially, the same conclusion -- or better spend you time shopping for a good FW drive.
Hi Brad.  You can use any drive for storing Masters.  Apple recommends -- and users concur -- that the drive should be directly connected to your computer (this rules out NAS).  Iirc, the Time Capsule can be configured (partitioned) to function as both a back-up drive and as a storage drive.  So you can do what you want.  But note that it should be wired to your computer (not wireless), and the connection should be at least as fast as FW400.  Also, since this will be a Referenced Masters set-up, you should be familiar with how that works.
Aperture imports files and puts them where you tell it to (or leaves them where they are).  If you have configured your Time Capsule (or part of it) to be storage, then you can tell Aperture to store your Masters there.
I recommend, however, that you leave your Time Capsule and as is, and scrimp together enough money to buy a FW800 external drive and dedicate that to storing your Masters.  You are outgrowing your storage (and backup) capacity -- this trend will continue.  Giving up some of your back-up capacity in order to convert it to storage capacity is only a stop-gap measure -- and the effort to do so is likely not worth the short-term gain.
Photography today, and Aperture today, demand a lot of hardware.  Storage is inexpensive -- buying what you need is almost always is a worthwhile strategy.

  • Oracle I supplier portal workflow -- PO Acknowledgement Workflow

    Hi Friends,
Oracle iSupplier Portal uses the following workflows:
    ■ Supplier Change Order Workflow
    ■ Update Capacity Workflow
    ■ Order Modifiers Workflow
    ■ Advance Shipment Notice (ASN) Workflow
    ■ Purchase Order Acknowledgement (handled by PO Approval Workflow)
Since EDI 855 refers to PO Ack, we have a req to use EDI for PO Acknowledgement to be done by EDI since the users are unable to acknowledge each single PO.
As mentioned in the user guides, it is said that the Purchase Order Acknowledgement is handled by PO Approval Workflow. So now I need to write a custom logic to capture the acknowledgement from Supplier and kick of the correct workflow to proceed with acceptance/rejection or change order.
Can anyone tell me which workflow if used for this and what is the process name in PO Approval Workflow.
    Thanks
    Rajesh

The best way to determine this would be to download the workflow into a wft file from 11.5.8 and 11.5.10 instances and run a simple Unix diff command on these two wft files. I do not believe you will find any documentation that will list differences at this level of detail.

  • A procedure with a buffer too small problem

    hey!
while running a procedure for loading data from csv file into a db table (on 9i db),
i got the error "ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small".
It's make scense since i have a large csv file (2 columns ,about 30,000 rows , containing 1 to 5 length number in each cell) .
My question: Is there any way to enlarge the buffer capacity in order to deal with such a large volume of data?
or any other way to fix the proc?
(of caurse now the buffer is set to max.).
    thanks

Is there any way to enlarge the buffer capacity in order to deal with such
a large volume of data? It's not the total volume of your data. Somewhere you are trying to fit a string into too small a column or variable....

  • Calculate memory in accordance with the new users addition

    Hi,
Currently My ECC (having only ABAP stack) system is having users around 2150 Dialog users. 200 more  new Dialog Users are going to be added in the system in the month of June'2014.
Please advise me whether I need to increase the RAM capacity in order to handle the additional users added in the system.
Current Capacity (1 CI+DB and 2 Application servers)
    =============
CI + DB = Dialog Batch Update Upd2 Spool Enqueue ICM =Active (46 GB RAM Physical memory Available)
APP1 = Dialog Batch Update Upd2 Spool ICM = Active (36 GB RAM Physical memory Available)
APP2 =    Dialog Batch Update Upd2 Spool ICM = Active (36 GB RAM Physical memory Available)
Also let me know how to calculate the memory with the no of new users added in the system.
    Regards
    Subbu

    Hi Subbu,
You may take help of SAP quicksizer tool to determine the CPU and RAM requirement with the increase of 200 more users.
    https://service.sap.com/quicksizer
You may specify the users under  low, medium and high category based on the transactions they perform and generate SAPS values which can be convert into CPU and RAM required for DB and Application servers.
    Hope this helps.
