Capture ENTER key on numeric keypad

I have several chemistry tutorials where users type something and then have it evaluated by pressing the ENTER key. This works fine for the ENTER key on the main part of the keyboard, but does not work for the ENTER key for the numeric keypad on keyboards with the two ENTER keys. How do I capture the ENTER key on the numeric keypad? In other words, how do I do the equivalent of the following for that key?

Hello all,
I have a question regarding a simple but annoying problem, of which I did not found a solution yet.
I have written an application in which I have to enter data manually in a numeric array control.
If I want to enter the value and go to the next element in the array control, i am forced to use the Tab key on my keyboard, or risk RSI using the mouse.
How can I assign the Enter key of the numeric keypad section of my keyboard to to the same as the Tab key?

Capturing Enter Key Press

Is there a way where we can capture the Enter Key press of the Keyboard and call an event on the Enter Key Press??
For fields such as input field there is onEnter field where an event can be called, but we have a requirement where in we need to call an event on click of enter key, irrespective of where the focus on the page is on.
Any inpus on this will be helpful.

Number 2 key on numeric keypad does not work. All other keys work properly.

inside the remote there is a micro switch for each direction each can break
so yeah you could be the first who write about the right arrow key microswitch being broke in your atv

Capturing Enter key event from text box

In my application, there are a number of text boxes. I want to create a feature where an enter key even is seen and specific function executed depending on which text box was in focus when the enter key was pressed. Currently I am able to capture an enter key event on the whole page. How do I do that specifically for a text box?
This application is done in HTML, javascript and Adobe AIR.

That's true that Flex4.5 SDK under Flash builder Burito doesn't listen Enter key in Text Area for KeyUp or KeyDown event.
Here I found a work around you can use.
Add an eventlistener to the component in actionscript and set the useCapture=true next to eventlistener function. Now you can listen enter key for KeyUp or KeyDown Event

You can use Javascript for this. In the onkeypress event, check if the keycode is 13 (the enter key) and handle accordingly.

Space key on numeric keypad

Is there a way to not have the 'space' key on the numeric keypad take you back to the alpha keypad? I looked at the user guide and in settings and don't see anything relevant. It seems strange to assume that a 'space' means take me back to alpha mode.

No option to set to not have it do that.
As far as "strange" I would say the majority of the time a user accesses that keyboard to put in a comma, period, quote, etc and after typing the punctuation one does want to go back to alpha keyboard so the majority of the time it is helping users be more efficient.

Capturing ENTER key in WD4A

I m getting an input from the user in an Inputfield. I also have a table with two columns.
The textfield is used to perform wildcard search (filter) for the table. That is, if i give a character like 'A', then the records which start with the character 'A' must be shown in the table when i press teh ENTER key..
I have got this outptu when i click a button. But i want to get the same output, when i give 'A' and press ENTER key..
How to acheive the same in WD4A?

for the corresponding Enter key , make a action say act in the EventPropery of the element.
in the Onactionact,method in the Methods tab , write the same piece of code , which u r writting in the Button

Problem capturing "Enter Key" within 2 paragraph in JSP

I create a textarea for customer to enter their data. Something the data contain 2 paragraph with Enter Key involve. Then, i store the data into my database. Once i re-display the data back to customer, the data never show in 2 paragraph ?

Are you displaying the data again in TextArea? If not then you need to take care of '\r\n'. Split the data for '\r\n' and display the data in two paragraphs.

The "enter" key on the numeric keypad of my external mac keyboard has stopped working with my Macbook pro. If I plug the keyboard into any other computer, that entier key works fine. I'm using a standard Mac wired keyboard, & it's worked fine for 2 years now. Help!

TS1381 the enter key on my numeric keypad brings up the Start menu in Windows 7

I figured this out on my own. I had clicked a key in DoubleClick that was causing this. I unchecked it and now my enter key works normally.

U150 Numeric Keypad - Where is the Enter Key

If you enable the numeric keypad on the U150 keyboard, which key is the Enter key? I need this for InDesign and other applications, where the Numeric Keypad Enter key has special meaning.

I see now that it's context dependent. However, when entering text for a search string in the browser, Swiftkey shows a "Send" key instead of "Enter/Return". When I have an Enter/Return key there, I can just press it and the browser starts my desired search immediately. With the "Send" key, I press it and nothing happens other than a space character appearing immediately after the search string! If I press it twice, the browser will finally start my search.
This is just the wrong context for Swiftkey to have a "Send" key in place of the "Enter/Return" key. In fact, I'd rather have it be an "Enter/Return" key all the time, that has always worked for me in all contexts. So I'm about ready to throw Swiftkey out of the boat, although I've happily used Swiftkey on Android for a couple of years...On Android Swiftkey, the "Enter/Return" key never changes to a "Send" key, so I think that this is just broken on iOS 8. I really don't like it when keys on a keyboard change depending on context, anyways, that just a badly designed user interface.
If they don't fix it soon I'll be dumping Swiftkey until they do fix it. I really did like Swiftkey on Android, but on the iPad not so much. Maybe I can find another keyboard, other than the Apple keyboard, that works well on the iPad. Bums me out, I was looking forward to being able to use Swiftkey on iOS 8 like I could on Android.
