on my i phone I play this game called Hay Day and I purchased diamonds well on my credit card I had 10.00 dollards on it and the game used up my whole 10.00 dollars and the only diamonds that I did get was 50 after that i was suspoe to get 45and something for 2.99 but I did not get them and againg I was suspose to get over a 1000 and something for 0.99 and did not get them so I would like for you to check and see what happen. Sara, thank you for your response. I was in touch with customer care before they contacted you to contact me. They said they could not help completely but that you should be able to. I need to cancel the $14.99 monthly charge and be refunded the $14.99 charges since I paid the annual fee. The $14.99 is a duplicate charge as I only have one form. If you are referring to the temporary store holding charge as described on the page that you posting, which is 'charged' each time that you change the card details on your account, then it should disappear off the card within a few days or so - though it varies by bank, and with it now being the weekend it might an extra day or two. Also some apps may be free to download but they then allow you to make in-app purchases to unlock extra features within them - you can turn off in-app purchases via Settings > General > Restrictions on your phone. -

Hi...I'm wondering, if there is any such thing as someone being charged to for free apps? I've been looking at my banking statements for the past few months & it looks like I'm being charged for apps that I downloaded for free. I recently lost my credit card & had to get a new one. When, I changed my credit card information on Itunes, that's when I noticed I was being charged. I often download music on Itunes & upload my magazines to my Ipad,but these aren't only things I'm being charged for. Most of the apps I download are the free ones. It makes me not want to update my apps, because I know I'm charged. Please help me!

They said that my account had been compromised and it was in my best interests to delete it for security reasons! I am convinced the operator deleted my account out of sheer malice because I complained - can anyone advise?
No. It would have been done for security reasons. You notified them that money was being unknowingly taken from your account, so they froze it.
Change your Apple ID here
And also check for unusual activity on your credit card with your bank. Change all your security password while you are at it.

If you have just added the credit card to your iTunes account then you are likely to be just seeing a small holding charge (in the US it would $1) which is temporarily 'charged' to the card to check that it's valid and active - in which case it will disappear in a day or two.
