thanks for your answer but that's not my problem ;-(((
The element type was set and the function modul exists.
I have an internal SAP problem using the case api inside this function module.
I you are using cl_scmg_case_api->open_case() inside the function module you will loose data. The case will not be saved correctly.

I have now found a workaround (but that is not the solution ;-((():
Whenever I want to access the overlaying case I removed "cl_scmg_case_api->open_case()" and tried to use the case backend to get an entry point to the overlaying case.
If I could not get the case backend I will open the case using the case api (and hopefully won't get the error.)
If anyone has an other solution please forward it to this newsboard.

But when I click on the "Manage Document Links", I couldn't see my custom integrator to associate my word document with my integrator.
I could see only the standard integrators.
How to get my custom integrator in "Manage Document Links". I could see my custom integrator in define layout but not in this page.

I could follow all the steps, except the following,
The reason is, when I click on Manage Documents Links, I am not getting my newly created integrator.
If I link a standard integrator "HR People Details" to my document, that is opening properly.
But I am not able to link my document with my integrator(which is based on my view).
c. Now link the template letter to the Letter Integrator and Layout.
If not already done so, Add the function WebADI Manage Document Links to your Web ADI menu, and give it a prompt of Link Document.
Select Link Document option , and Web ADI Mail Merge page displays. Choose your Letter Integrator. Link it to the Layout, and a list of template documents uploaded to the database is displayed. Select the template letter to be linked with the layout.

Case Management - table linking activities and cases
Hi.
I need to create a report in CRM that shows cases and the service orders that are linked to them.
I can get the case information from table CRMD_CMG_CASE_AT for example.
I can get the service order information from table CRMD_ORDERADM_H.
But how can I link the two tables? Is there a table that contains both the Case GUID and the Order GUID?

CRMD_CMG_CASE_AT-CASE_GUID = SCMG_T_CASE_ATTR-CASE_GUID
then
SCMG_T_CASE_ATTR-EXT_KEY = CRMD_ACTIVITY_H-EXTERN_ACT_ID (be careful because EXTERN_ACT_ID is char(20), so you need complete with 0 left zeros the empty positions, for ie: ext_key 2032 is equal to 000000002032 EXTERN_ACT_ID)
then
CRMD_ACTIVITY_H-GUID = CRMD_ORDERADM_H-GUID

Case Management - Linked Object
Dear Experts
I'm using CRM 5.0 and Case Management within PCUI. I'd like to allow only specific transaction types to be created for each case type.
For example, from a case type ZCASE1 => Only activity type ZACT1 can be created. From a case type ZCASE2 => only activty type ZACT2 can be created.
How could I achieve this?

Please query the case header table SCMG_T_CASE with the case guid. This will give you the technical key for the record. If you need to get back the Document ID for the record then you will need to instantiate the CL_SRM_POID class for the technical ID & then retrieve back the Document ID. Remove Linked Objects Case Management
Dear Guru's
I would like to find out how I can permanently remove some of the linked objects that are offered by the system in case management ie TC <i><b>scase</b></i> . We are only going to be using the Business Partner object to assign a BP to a case, and the Business Transactions object for activities, the rest are irrelevant. I know you can delete them during the editing of a case, but I would like to permanently remove them.
Your help will be most apprecitedOk I found the solution for that, what I did is in TC scase under [<i>b]CRM Case Mgt->Record and Case Records Models->Modeler for CRM Case Records</b></i> , on the subscreen I chose start search and then selected the Modeler that I am using which for was the standard which came with the system is CRM 4.0: Integration IC Webclient/BSP UI. I put it in change mode, and for the object that I do not need to use, I clicked on them and clicked deactivate. Which is more than half for me.
Having done this you will see that for all the objects that you have deactivated, they do not appear during the creation of a case.

Simple answer: There is no specific integration existing.
Case Management is using DMS as one option to save documents like Word, Excel.
The cFolders solution is normally on a separate server and DMS documents can be checked out from the content server to cFolders and vice versa in SAP standard.
I have experience from both solutions and I really don't see how these two solutions should be linked to each other from a business perspective.

Case Management ... Statuses not getting changed
Dear All,
I am working in a Development system of SAP CRM 2007.
Now I have created a case which has 3 or more complaints attached...
When I change the status of the case, the complaints in the case have statuses that doesn`t get changed.

In CaseManagement, before creation of Case first you need to create a CaseType.
First you need to create Status Profile, Attribute Profile etc.,
After that in CaseType creation you need to select the profiles created by you.
Then in Case created by you these gets reflected.
When a new Case is Created automatically it will be in New Status mode.
After when you attach the related documents(Linked Objects) and Notes then you need to change the Status.
After that you need to attach the Processors for the corresponding Case Sequentially or Parallely and then save the case changing its status to In Process.
Once the Case is saved you cant make any changes to the case.
After the ProcessRoute triggers a workflow and Case status changes to Complete or whatever status you mention there.
Follow the steps in Case Management Registry.

Follow-up Activities in Case Management using Actions

I am configuring the case Management, On save of the case document I would like to create the Activities automatically and assign it to various departments who are responsible. One way of doing this uisng Actions. I have created a Z* Action profile and assigned object as BUS20900 and context class as CL_SCMG_CASE_CONTEXT_PPF. I am not able to find the right method to create the Activities, could you please help me.

Thank you very much for quick response. I have used method called APPOINTMENT_OFFER and LEAS_NOTIF_01 I am getting the following exception. I have also tried with some other methods they also giving same exception.

Add new document link not working in upgraded sharepoint 2013?

According to your description, my understanding is that the add new document link was not working on machine where Office web apps set up with this SharePoint server after you upgraded SharePoint team sites
from 2010 to 2013.
For your issue, it can be caused by integrating Office Web Apps with upgraded SharePoint Site.
Firstly please make sure claims-based authentication is used by the SharePoint web application that is used to create the new document. Only web applications that use claims-based authentication can open
files in Office Web Apps. To determine the authentication provider for a web application, follow these steps:
1.In SharePoint 2013 Central Administration, click Manage web applications.
2.Select the web application that you want to check, and click Authentication Providers on the ribbon.
The authentication provider must be displayed as Claims Based Authentication for Office Web Apps to work correctly with the web application. To resolve this issue, you can delete the web application and recreate
it using claims-based authentication, or you can change the authentication method of the web application.
Secondly, make sure the WOPI zones match on the SharePoint 2013 and the Office Web Apps Server farm.
To do this, run the following command on the SharePoint Server:
Get-SPWopiZone
The result will be one of the following:.
internal-https
internal-http
external-https
external-http
Next, run the following command on the SharePoint Server.
Get-SPWOPIBinding
In the output, look for WopiZone: zone. If the results from Get-SPWopiZone don’t match the zone that is returned by Get-SPWOPIBinding, run the Set-SPWOPIZone -Zone cmdlet on the SharePoint Server to change
the WOPI zone to match the result from Get-SPWOPIBinding.
If not work, you can try to disconnect SharePoint 2013 from Office Web Apps Server and re-configure Office Web Apps for SharePoint 2013.

Name Case issue in Link Palette
I have imported couple of Links in InDesign CS6. All links are imported well. The issue is happened in case sensitive of links as described below.
1. I have imported the links with the naming convention as shown below.

005_FlowerX5.jpg
2. I have renamed the links after imported into InDesign as shown below.

Can you see the difference of the naming convention between points 1 & 2? There is a case sensitive difference.
InDesign Link palette does not show modified/missing links. The image status looks "OK" in the Link palette after change the original name in point 2.
I just wonder how InDesign does not show modified/missing links in the Links palette after changing the name. Attached screenshot of case sensitive difference in the links naming convention for your reference.
Anyone help on this issue to overcome and provide a solid solution of the same.Is your Mac set up to use case-sensitive file naming? I'm not a Mac person, but my recollection is you have to go to some pains to format the drive for case-sensitivity.
If, in fact, you simply change the case without moving the files and you are not formatted for case-sensitivity I would expect ID to continue to recognize the files at the old locations and to update automatically the next time you open the document. If you change the names in Finder whiel the document is open I would expect to see a file modifcation warning, but not a missing file. I don't know why ID isn't updating the spelling, though. Perhaps it's because it doesn't matter. -

Since I am not able to understand the specifics of the SSHR Page, its slightly difficult to suggest something. If you can share the technical details of the page, it might be easier to make a guess. Btw, in case this is standard page behaviour, Oracle Metalink might be a place to look out for resolution.

Acrobat X external document linking problem
Hello,
I have been using Acrobat 6 standard for our user manuals for years and have recently started using Acrobat X.
It seems that the external document linking has changed though. I used to put all of our 3rd party literature (PDFs) in a separate folder (to keep it clean and neat) under our main manual PDF. I would link to all those documents inside our user manual PDF. Then when I later burned the PDF and the 3rd party literature to a CD, as long as I maintained the folder heirarchy, everything worked just fine.
Under Acrobat X though this doesn't seem to be the case. If I just burn it to a CD, then the all of the external links are broken. I have been able to do this by adding Desinations names to the 3rd part literature but this is a lot more work and I don't want to modify all of the 3rd party docs. In addition, some of them are read only and you cannot edit them.
Does anyone know how to link to external documents in Acrobat X and then move them to a new location while maintaining the link without editing the external documents (some are read only).

Case management: Partner confirmation and subsequent case creation
Hi,
When i confirm a partner and then click case, the partner number does NOT reflect when the case details open. Is this the standard functionality or am I missing to activate or configure something here. For instance when i create a lead, the partner confirmed before gets automatically reflected in the lead details. In this issue of case, I am right now manually adding the partner. Please clarify on this.
My second query is about triggering an action (mail) to the related partner when i 'save' the case. Any input here would be appreciated.

I'm afraid that I can't add much additional value here. For your second point about emails I would normally suggest OneOrder PPF (Post Processing Framework) actions. But I assume that these only work in One Order documents and not for the case. Perhaps someone else can confirm?
And I am not aware of any additional enhancements to Case Management, except for some Investigate Case Management functionality rolled out in CRM 7.0 targeted at the public sector (e.g., government and law enformance agencies). My recommendation would be to look at the new IT-IL based Incident/Service Request IT Service Management functionality available in CRM 7.0 which provides a lot more power and flexibility than the old Case Management (or Service Ticket) functionality.
