Case of missing Flash Videos when deploying to web

Hi,
I have done a simple flash catalyst project and I have inserted a F4V file into it. But when I deploy to Web as I publish, I don't see the video at all. Why is this so? I have the video stored in a folder called 'multimedia_assets'. Must I move the video into the same location as the FXP file? Please advise.
Thanks!

Have you uploaded the video file in the same directory structure to the web? When you publish the project, it should create a folder(s) that contain your videos. You will need to upload these files and mirror the directory structure.

  • Change default schemaLocation of wsdl when deploying a web service

    Hi,
When I deploy a web service, and then view the schemaLocation attribute of the wsdl, it points to a file with the machine name and not the url for my server. I have tried changing in config files all of the instances that point to my machine name instead of my url. This has not changed what gets set for schemaLocation when I deploy the web service. I also tried creating a new virtual server but I am unsure what value to put for the hostName. I tried my url and that did not seem to work. Does anyone have any ideas of to change the value that gets written to schemaLocation attribute when deploying a web service?
Could anyone point me to documentation for changing a domains' hostName or in other words, the url used to access it? I know when I point my browser to my server's url instead of the machine name for the admin console, things seem to work. But then I run into problems such as above, where certain urls do not get set properly.
If there is a way to set this when installing Sun ONE AS through the wizard, please let me know because I have not added much to my install and could reinstall the software.
    Thanks,
    Scott

    Hi disgruntled one,
The same problem has plagued us a few times already, and I've finally found a solution that worked for me.
Option 1 - requires redeployment of web services.
    1. In the admin console, navigate to Configuration -> HTTP service -> HTTP Listeners.
    2. Select the correct listener. In most cases this would be http-listener-1
    3. In the General Settings section, enter the correct name of your host in the Server Name field. This can be the corresponding name you have in a DNS for the host, or if you don't have a DNS entry, you can hard code it to the machine's IP address.
    4. Redeploy any web services for the changes to take effect. I've tried restarting the server but that doesn't seem to have an effect on the WSDL output.
Option 2 - modify the generated WSDL file
    1. Look under the {you app server's path}\domains\domain1\generated\xml. You should find the generated WSDL file under this tree in their appropriate sub folders.
    2. Modify as you see fit.
This method of course, needs to be redone for each time you redeploy the web services.
    Cheers,
    Fred

    Amr Azim,
You must have logged in thru a dedicated connection to any server through say VPN before deploying. This way the sdm uses the same login as that of already establised connection.
So 'sign of'  all connections to any servers before deploying and redeploy your application. Here you will be prompted to supply the sdm password and deployment shall proceed.

  • Very Strange Problem... Missing hidden field when deployed on JBOSS

This problem is driving me nuts. Here it is... When I deploy my app to TomCat it works fine. When I deploy to JBoss everything works except the links . When I select a link rendered via JBoss the directory containing the JSP is displayed. I can also see that my filters are not being called in this case. I compared the HTML produced by TomCat to the HTML produced by JBoss and there was one minor difference. This hidden field was not rendered in JBoss:
<input type="hidden" name="contentView:contentForm:_idcl" />When I manually include this in the JSP and run JBoss.. It works.
I have spent a full day trying to figure out when the hidden field is not being rendered when deployed to JBoss... I would very much appreciate any suggestions.. Thanks in advance. Paul

  • How to download flash video when a flv extension is not detecable

Standard methods for saving videos are not working for a particular file I'm trying to save. If you know of a third party app that can download flash video (where the video owner has not enabled viewing of the flv file), please help. Thanks.

If you have set a blank Administrator password, then the install should go forward with the blank password.
If not, then I would assume it to be a problem with your operating system.  Contact Apple.

  • Choppy video when streaming from web-site

I have tried to stream video from the site http://portevergladeswebcam.com/ (this is for watching cruise ships and other maritime traffic and the site claims to be "High Definition Video").  If anyone wants to look at this site, do it in the daytime!  When viewing the web-site over a home WiFi network, with a fully updated Playbook, the motion of the moving vessels is smooth for a few minutes, but then it becomes choppy.  The vessels "jerk" along.  I have test the Playbook simultaneously with a Motorola Xoom, connected to the same WiFi network, and the Xoom motion is smooth all of the time.  Can someone tell me whether this shows a limitation of the Playbook, or is there something I might be able to do to fix it.
    Thank you

Yes, I know this will work but I want to know why it is choppy when playing from the CD. I have never seen this behavior with any other computer. Is there something wrong with the optical drive? Do I need to tweak some setting? Thanks.

  • Please help: Exception when deploying ADF Web app to AS 10.1.3

Hi everyone, I hope someone could help me with this.

Hi I am afraid I do have similar problem in production now. We just upgrade app server from 10.1.3.0 to 10.1.3.1 plus ADF Runtime libraries 10.1.3.2 plus one-off patch (bug 4398431) for JDBC Driver (fixing deadlock in java threads related to JDBC pooling)
Any hint what might be a issue. I suspect it might be related to jbo.timetolive because first occurence of this message is about 1 hour after restart of application server and we are using default BC configuration jbo.timetolive= 1hour
After that we see folowing error messga in application.log

  • Text not fit to size when deploy in web browser when upgrade to 10g

    Hi,
    I 'm currently evaluating the form upgrade from 6i to 10g (10.1.2).
The text on the boilerplate was fit to size in the form builder 10g , however after compilation of the upgraded form and deploy to web browser, those text item close to the field get truncated.
Moreover, the spacing of the LOV is increased in the web and it need to scroll down view all items.
Is there any configuration can be changed to revert back to 6i , otherwise it may required to patch on the text position again.
    Cheers,
    Ana

    Hello,
I think that it is just a problem of difference between the Forms Builder font and the Java web corresponding font.
Have a look at the <FORMS_HOME>/formsxx/java/oracle/forms/registry/registry.dat file.

  • EPM Architect - Missing Data Source when deploy

    Hi,
I have an application on EPM which status is at the moment Not Deployed. It once worked but now when I try to deploy it's Data Source is missing, nor i can associate one to it. How can I recover this situation? The application was working until yesterday and the Data Source for the underlying application is present.
The Diagnostic does not show me the option to find suitable datasource for this application.
The Planning application works correctly, I tried to restart Planning and EPMA Services but without success.
Is there something I can do working on the tables in the EPMA schema?
    Thank you,
    bidi

    Hi Celvin,
no I didn't play with the underlying tables. I ran the Diagnostic and it fails two tests:
    - Not deployed but in Shared Services
         - a) Delete from EPMA only
         - b) Manually delete application from Shared Services
    - Not Deployed status in EPMA, but in product
         - a) Delete from EPMA only. May run the Transform Classic to EPM Architect Wizard manually aftwrwards
         - b) Manually delete the application from the productnd
I think that Delete from EPMA and reverse from the underlying planning application would in a certain sense "fix" my issue, but I'm not so confident in this operation, I don't want for some reason override something on the Planning application.
In the forum I found that when the Data Source is set to NONE the diagnostic is able to recognize a data source that could fit. I don't know if in that case NONE is "NONE" as a string or is just missing, in my case I see an empty drop down list.
    Thanks

  • [SOLVED] stay fullscreen in flash videos when window loses focus

I am using the awesome window manager, and am trying to view web videos (youtube, vimeo, various other flash players) in full screen on one monitor while doing something else on another monitor. I have seen people post issues with flash and other web-embedded videos and awesome, but those tend to relate to the videos getting tiled or being full screen behind the browser window or something like that. I am able to get fullscreen to work just fine, except when i transfer focus to another window, it pops out of full screen. Anyone have any ideas for keeping full screen even while the window doesnt have focus? Thanks!

Figured it out. I tried doing the same in Gnome, which had the same problem. Searching for linux more in general lead me to http://www.buttonhome.org/articles/23-l … itor-linux where they suggested going into libflashplugin.so and manually changing _NET_ACTIVE_WINDOW to something like __ET_ACTIVE_WINDOW, which did the trick.

  • Missing nilvaiu.dll when deploying VI

    Hi,
I have a problem when trying to deploy a .VI to my cRIO 9082.
The .VI is to control the velocity of a DC engine (KOLLMORGEN) through a servo drive.
However, whenever i try to deploy the VI i get the error message as follows:
LabVIEW: Failed to load shared library nilvaiu (see also attached image).
The dll is present in the tree (see attached image) and i've just reinstalled the DAQmx 9.x.x.
Anyone have a clue on how to fix this?
    Help is much appreciated.
    Best regards,
    Jakob.

Is the 9082 running LabVIEW Real-time (RT)? If so - I would suspect that the DAQmx drivers are not installed on the RT target. I'm not entirely sure how DAQmx works with RT targets as it's not something I've used before (and this thread says that you can't use DAQmx on cRIOs - http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/DAQmx-driver-support-in-cRIO-Error-fail-to-load-nilvaiu-dll/td-p/112...
    1) Have you checked the software installed on the 9082 (go to max, find your cRIO, click 'software' and then add/remove software) to see if there is an option for installing DAQmx support?
    2) Do you have LabVIEW RT support installed with your DAQmx drivers? There's some information about it here but it seems quite out of date http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/79CB44F7E228AED88625756E00445151. I've just taken a screenshot of my DAQmx configuration:
The other options seem to suggest that it's because DAQmx is corrupted but you said that you've tried reinstalling that. Have you also tried 'repairing' it?

  • Got reading error when deploying a web Dynpro project

    Hi everyone,
I'm working on NWDS 7.1 CE.  After I synchronized a project (using the "Create Project" option), then Build and Deploy it under the Development Infrastructure perspective, I can run it by choosing the "Run" option of the web Dynpro project's application. But once I chose "Deploy new arcihve and run", I got the following error message:
[ERROR CODE DPL.DC.3095] A reading error occurred while loading the SDU 'D:/usr/sap/DW1/J00/j2ee/cluster/server0/temp/tcbldeploy_controller/archives/3888/dow.comgcacmpprofitcenterui.ear'.; nested exception is:
         com.sap.engine.services.dc.util.readers.sdu_reader.SduReaderException: [ERROR CODE DPL.DC.3388]

Additional information: 'The information about the development component found in the manifest is either missing or incomplete!
Manifest attributes are missing or have badly formatted value:
    attribute keylocation is missing
    attribute keyname is missing
    attribute keyvendor is missing
    attribute keycounter is missing
Does anyone know what happens here? What's the difference of the Build/Deploy commands under Web Dynpro perspective and under Development Infrastructure perspective? After I made changes to the project, can I just deploy it under the Development Infrastructure perspective?
    Thanks,
    James

    C:\usr\sap\J2E\JC01\j2ee\configtool->configtool.bat->open it
    1. Click on Secure store
    2. Right you will find :
admin/password/J2E->retype your admin passowrd which you gave during installation=>SAVE properly
Restart the server and try login visual admin
Deploy now...Other wise see this thread same error solved:

  • Firefox latest update will not print youtube videos on my websites - just has a blank space in place of video when I print web page?

WinXP - When I preview a web page before printing it - it is blank where my Youtube video should appear - and when I print the web page, Firefox prints a blank space where the video should appear?
    How can I fix this?

Can't be done due to the aforementioned Bug that was reported on the Gecko Core back in 2002. Never worked in Firefox which was just beginning initial development under the Phoenix moniker, when that Bug was filed.
