Castor Binding File

I'm having problem as
"A class name generation conflict has occured between element 'psoID' and element 'psoID'. Please use a Binding file to solve this problem.Continue anyway [not recommended] (y|n|?)"
Above warning is generated when am trying to generate java classes for SPML XSD file using Castor's SourceGenerator?

The problem was providing the proper class loader to the Mapping object
constructor. Castor mapping object requires the class loader when
running as a java extension.

  • In your experience what are the most common errors in binding files when deploying?

    As the title suggest I'm interested in discussing the most common errors in binding files when deploying.
    Reason for this is that I'm currently working on a Powershell script that can parse a binding file and create a reader friendly report (rtf format) with various information.
    But the main purpose for this script is to find common errors in the binding file used. And so far these are the ones I've thought of:
    - Tracking enabled for either services or the pipelines they are using (if it's a binding meant for Prod).
    - Orchestrations logical ports not having any ports bound to them.
    - URI containing certain words that's not ok. For example if a binding meant for Prod contains the word "test" anywhere in the URI then that should be reported in the created rtf report. This also applies vice versa.
    So now I need your help with coming up with more ideas on common errors that need to be looked after and reported on if found!
    Additional features the report should contain:
    - Listing the details of each orchestration, send port, receive port along with their associated receive location(s). To better understand and get a quick overview on exactly what settings are planned to be deployed. Especially the "TransportTypeData"
    section which otherwise can be quite tedious to read.
    - List each unique host instance, so that I can easier see directly which ones might need a restart after an import.
    I'd appreciate if you can come up with any more features that should be included in this script.
    /Christian @ IntegrationAdmin.com

    Filter on send port not on the same line as the Filter tag.
    This one is a nice one, I ran into it several times. Mostly after copy/paste of a port definition for a binding file, because Visual Studio is formatting after paste the XML in a way the filter will get invalid. This leads to a cryptic error
    during importing the binding.

  • How to change generated class name when create binding files.

    I have a dtd file, which has lines like this:

         | rights.startdate
         | rights.enddate

         <!ELEMENT rights.type (%plain-text;)*>
    when i use xjc to create binding files, I got an error:
    trying to create the same field twice: value.
    I suspect that the reason is because the name of rights and rights.type.
    so, i'd like to know how can i control the generated class name. for example, i want to generate a class RightTypeEle for element rights.type. how can do that?
    btw, i use latest version of jaxb.

    hi Vincentq,
    What function are you using to create the attachment?  Have you looked at SAP_WAPI_ATTACHMENT_ADD?

  • JAX-WS binding files problem

    Hi,
    I'm trying to generate client code from WSDL with wsimport maven goal. I can generate the code, but I have this specific problem which I'm trying to solve by jaxb and jaxws external binding files.
    In my src/main/resources/wsdl directory I have
    - three WSDL files (let's say A.wsdl, B.wsdl, C.wsdl)
    - two XSD files(X.xsd, Y.xsd)
    All these files share the same targetNamespace.
    A.wsdl includes X.xsd through
    <xsd:include schemaLocation="X.xsd" />
    B.wsdl and C.wsdl include Y.xsd in the same manner.
    Since X.xsd and Y.xsd types are generated into one package, the ObjectFactory is overwritten.
    I'd like to generate X.xsd types into one package and Y.xsd types into another. I've not been able to exploit jaxb and jaxws binding to do that.
    Is this possible when X.xsd and Y.xsd have the same targetNamespace?
    The idea is shown in this binding file (it's not correct, but I've tried many combinations of these declarations without success)

  • Binding file for controlling package name

    I looked at the related links, tried a few examples, not much success...
    I realize this can be solved with more effort, but just trying the easy path, so ... ignore this if looks unreasonable, I know how busy developers feel...
    Is there a good example to conform to these requirements:
    Basically i would like binding file as a child element for wsdlc running in JAXWS mode that will follow package naming rules for JAXRPC... meaning:
    Java files generated from xsd will match package name with xsd name space, while for JWS classes control specific package name ...
    Most of my attempts failed due to xpath complaining for not finding any element for the node ...
    Binding attempt 1: make all classes serializable

    There's a checkbox called "Specify Project Package".

    Is there is way to specify a package name for the java file generated when you export a project.

  • Aggregator not binding files

    Needing  help again. This time I'm going back to my old problem about the Aggregator. I have these three lessons that I want to bind together because I have quizzes in each of them. ( I don't have SCORM Packager and the other binder program have not work) So... When I was using the Aggregator to bind my files that is up until today it was working fine. It would bind my files together with a TOC on the side and it would go from one slide to the  next no problem. Now it still does the same thing except when I run it from the Aggregator (publish) the TOC does not appear for the second and third lessons but the lessons continue in a very wonky sort of way.
    Then I inserted all of the necessary files into Moodle - Moodle allows  me to run the first lesson but kicks me out after the first lesson is over. It takes me to the Moodle landing page.  So first this morning everything was working fine - it wasn't until I changed the names of my files that things got broken - the only thing I did different was I renamed my files i.e. my three lessons and made a new aggregator file so that they would have appropriate names displayed when the lessons were being played.
    I put the following files into Moodle
    Health Center Prog.agg
    Health Center Prog.htm
    Health Center Prog.swf
    Intro to HC,swf
    History of HC.swf
    Prog Req.swf
    Any idea on what I could have done to make the lessons stop playing and now kick me out of the lesson and throw me to the Moodle landing page.
    Im using Captivate 6 on a Mac.
    Please please please anything you can suggest would be helpful.
    Thanks in advance.
    Maree

    I don't honestly believe Storyline is going to solve this particular problem for you.  It doesn't have either an Aggregator app or a Multi-SCORM Packager app like Captivate offers.  The reason your content wasn't working before was due to your changing the names of the files and breaking the links.  That would happen in Storyline as well.
    By the way, you have shown the published file names in one of your original posts as having spaces in the names:
    Health Center Prog.agg
    Health Center Prog.htm
    Health Center Prog.swf
    Intro to HC,swf
    History of HC.swf
    Prog Req.swf
    Please be aware that when publishing content to a web server for delivery over an intranet or the internet you should NOT have spaces in the names as this can also break links.  Use hyphens or underscores instead of spaces.  In Captivate, this means you need to set the name in the Project Title field in the Publish dialog correctly to output the files without spaces.
    Also, there's no point uploading the .agg file to your web server or Moodle as this is just the file that Captivate reads in order to create the Aggregated project output.  It's not required for the final content on the server.

  • Xjb binding file and catalog file

    I have two schemas that exist in separate projects.
    I utilize a catalog file to correctly take the namespace of a schema and refer to the specific location of the other schema. Long term the externalized schema will exist in a jar file.
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <!DOCTYPE catalog PUBLIC "-//OASIS/DTD Entity Resolution XML Catalog V1.0//EN" "http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/entity/release/1.0/catalog.dtd">
    <catalog xmlns="urn:oasis:names:tc:entity:xmlns:xml:catalog" prefer="public">
    <public publicId="http://foo.com/common/model/contactpoint" uri="file:/C:/Development/workspace/foo-model-member/src/main/sample/contactpoint.xsd"/>
    </catalog>
    The problem is that the xjb file does not appear to use the same catalog file for resolving the schemaLocation attribute. Is there a way to apply the catalog to the schemaLocation attribute of the binding element? In the xjc command, I supply a catalog file and it correctly integrates this into the build process.

    Andrew,
    I would agree, this implementation appears to be a retrofit and not properly
    thought out. The subject is very confusing and has caused me many hours of
    frustration while migrating several LR environments to new systems. Most
    importantly, there is now a reply and reference to my question that helps
    clear up the confusion. I have since changed my Preferences accordingly and
    hope to avoid this trap in the future. Following is the URL that I found

  • BPM-  ADF binding files architecture for ADF human taskflow.

    Hi,
    I wast to know what is the architecture behind the hundreds of the file generated for the BPM adf integration for the human taskflow.
    Is there any method of debugging why data coming to BPM human taskflow is not coming properly to ADF.
    I appeciate any debug pointers, although these files are clearly xml files and we have no control over generation of these files but still we want to know how data been populated and how if any error occured of data corruption, how we will resolve.
    REF we are facing major issues with the data corruption issues with the ADF BPM components.
    Thanks
    VIpin

    Hi Vipin
    This post has an interesting discussion related to your question. I am glad BPM is infact generating all these complex xml files behind the screens and taking care of so many things. Thanks to ADF framework. Yes, I totally agree, debugging may be nightmare to begin with. But with divide and rule, you can get over it. End of the Day its just pure Workflow and a complex ADF. ADF can be stripped out carefully and run all the actonis from a normal web application. If we design properly as pure SOA, we create back end services like EJBs that can be consumed from WebServices or ADF Layer. Once we have this we can integrate these Services into any BPM Process.
    Re: Integrating BPM taskflows into an ADF application
    Now, coming back to your questions:
    1. You have a Complex BPM Process with complex BO (business objects), Arrays of BOs. I hope you have XSD for your BOs and using them only you created BusinesObjects and ProcessDataObjects. Now lets assume you have a BPM Process that uses this complex data structure. Lets take a very first Human Task initiaor who may see a Task Details page with your compelx objects. Lets say, in Task Details page, he says a header section with 10 fields. Another section with a Table of Multiple Rows and columns (arrays of Data), etc etc.
    2. NOW the main question is, when this User Saves or Submits the Task, you should be doing something with that Data ? Am I right. Are you Saving it to any Database or everything is in the Payload itself. If so, I hope you have complex. If its payload itself, then I hope you have a complex strucutre to pass arrays of data through out the process.
    3. Assuming all this gets Stored into backend Database. Lets not worry about retrieving it back when task goes to second user. Always Payload will store the key IDs lke dataId like OrderId, CustomerId etc and using that it can pull any data from backend and show on task details page.
    4. This is where the ADF comes into picture. So even before you integrate your complex backend data with Process, first create a simple WebAppilcation. If you have EJB methods to handle this data, you create Data controls, bindings. Bindings will help generate the Screens. So you can first test your application completely here. Once all this is working, thats when you call these Services from your Process.
    And beauty is with new release of BPM Suite (should be in BPM 11.5 + FP (Feature Pack)), they have a concept of Simulation. This should help you to simulate the Process without any real data and JUST focus and test on the Flow of the Process. This comes real handy for testing.
    And for the data used in your process, you have ADF Tools to create stand alone ADF Application.
    We have some applications like yours with very complex data structure, arrays that gets stored like in 25 tables with references going everywhere. First we built a simple data layer using EJBs and JPA layer (JPA Entities). These Entities have annotated methods to take care of most of the things. In the EJB we exposed some generic methods instead of adf generating them, due to complex data structre. Then we created data controls and bindings. Create Custom JSPX Files. This is where we ended up having our own Layout for the Data. I hope you have already seen by default, task details layout page generated is NOT usabe at all. It generates all the data in one Single Long column. We do not use that. Since we know data, we created our own Task details page. The only thing we add is the Actions bar and comments and attachment section. When you auto generate a taskdetails page for any .TASK file, you will see DataBindins created for Payload, Actions, and also separately for coments and attachmetns. Just drag these comments and attachments on to your page and define your own layout.
    Re: deploying a large Oracle BPM Application with multiple UI projects (Single taskdetails for multiple UIs and Tasks)
    Re: What exactly 'PAYLOAD' Means??? (Simple definition for Payload word referred in any Process)
    If you see one of the old posts, there is a way to reuse just one Single TaskDetals page for Multiple different Human .TASK files. All that matters iis the top Actions Menu that are differenet for each human task like someone can Submit, someone can only Approve or Reject etc. We can club all these Actions into single actionsMenu.jsff and put this on TaskDetails page and assing to all the .task files. Menus are automatically disabled/enabled using workflow APIs. You do not need any special coding for them. Look at code snipet for any actions button that has like isAllowedAction and pass the name of the action. Workflow APIs see if that .TASK file has a Action named with that internally.
    In conclusion, there is a decent clear gap between Process and the ADF Generated Task Details page.

  • Castor XML  issue

    Hi,
    i m using castor-1.0.3 for generating source code from xml schema.
    i ve a complex schema n even have binding file too for class name conflicts.
    The issue i m facing is when i run "
    java org.exolab.castor.builder.SourceGenerator....." it gets hung after generating certain class files. it ll never proceed. i need to explicitly terminate after waiting for a long time..
    I m stuck here as to what might be going wrong here..
    Kindly suggest.
    Regards,
    Lance

    FYI:
    I tried Castor. In my opinion, there's a much better solution BC4J. BC4J lets you read and write your objects to XML, using readXML and writeXML. It seems more mature than Castor.
    If you are just reading and writing your object or collection of objects and hierarchy to file, then you only use readXML and writeXML.
    With BC4J, you model you objects in BC4J, then BC4J allows you to create a DTD for these objects. So if you have inbound or outbound XML that you need to transform from/to, you can then use this DTD and the DTD/XML Schema of the other format to write a xslt transformation.
    Another benefit, you can pass object hierarchies across a web service using writeXML on the client side and then readXML to repopulate the object hierarchy on the server side of the web service.

  • JAXB, Castor and extending behaviour

    I need to do XML data binding and have been evaluating Castor and JAXB. One of the main differences seems to be Castor is class based while JAXB is interface based.
    The ability to generate classes to marshal, unmarshal, and validate is really great but a schema can't define all the behaviour your class may want to have.
    Given that the auto-generated classes dont have all the methods I need what do I do? Well in Castor its easy, I just subclass the auto-generated classes and add the behaviour as required. It works well. How can I do a similar thing in JAXB? Extending the interface isnt enough because you need to extend a class to implement the new interface However, in JAXB the implementation class is not supposed to be used directly by the application.
    Can anyone suggest the best way to solve this problem?
    Thanks,
    Paul

    One thing I am doing now is generating all the classes initially using the default behaviour. Then I take the one of the generated classes and modify it. Then I create an entry in the binding file specifying the class as the impl class for that node. You can then rerun the generator and it will not write over the class you have changed. I don't see why you couldn't just extend the class and set the extended class name in the binding file. That's actually better than what I've got now because I can keep my methods separate from the generated class and it's easier to regenerate that class too.
    My question is whether there is a way to get JAXB to create bound properties the way that you can with Castor?

  • WCF Published Orch - Could not find a base address that matches scheme http for the endpoint with binding MetadataExchangeHttpBinding

    I have an orchestration published as a web service.  It was working fine on our test environment, we deployed to production, and now getting this error.  The website wouldn't go in the BizTalk MSI, so we copied the files.  We reset the Authentication
    to match the test system (we are using Basic Auth).
    When we try to browse the webservice in the browser, it prompt for userid/password, we enter it, then it gives the following error.
    I'm not even sure what it means by "base address", if URL was https://prod.mydomain.com/myapp/myservice.svc, would https://prod.mydomain.com be the based address? In the test environment, the URL is https://test.mydomain.com/myapp/myservice.svc.
    In both environments, we have a customer calling this webservice.
    Also, I don't know what it means "scheme http".  We are using https:... on the URL.
    I'm thinking this is either security related, something to do with the app pool being different, or maybe something to do with bindings.
    Thanks,

    When you want to migrate Web Applications from one environment to other there are multiple ways to achieve it.
    1) Migrate in MSI- Export MSI and select the option for your Web Application, however I don't recommend this option
    2) Is to browse the folder for Web Application(Right click on web app and browse). Copy this folder(normally within inetpub folder) and take it to the inetpub folder of other environment. Later from the IISManager create application.
    Are you not using the same Binding file?
    Check you web.config file and see if the endpoint is configured for mexHTTpBinding.
    Old: binding="mexHttpBinding"
    New: binding="mexHttpsBinding"
    web.config snippet:
    <services>
    <service behaviorConfiguration="ServiceBehavior" name="LIMS.UI.Web.WCFServices.Accessioning.QuickDataEntryService">
    <endpoint behaviorConfiguration="AspNetAjaxBehavior" binding="webHttpBinding" bindingConfiguration="webBinding"
    contract="LIMS.UI.Web.WCFServices.Accessioning.QuickDataEntryService" />
    <endpoint address="mex" binding="mexHttpsBinding" contract="IMetadataExchange" />
    </service>
    Also look into the below article- How to fix: "Could not find a base
    address that matches scheme http for the endpoint with binding WebHttpBinding" Errors
    Moving to https = Could not find a base address that matches scheme

    Well, As I mentioned There is an element named 'getRelatedAssets' and I want to rename it to some other name like 'getRelatedAssetsXXXXX' which would not be in Schema using jax binding.
    Note. When I manually change the name to 'getRelatedAssetsXXXXX' in WSDL, it works. but I want to make it using jaxbinding.
    Anyways,Thanks for the reply.
