CC 5.2 JCo connectors not visible in CC

We have installed Compliance Calibrator 5.2 on our NW04S system, which already had Access Enforcer 5.2 installed. We have created and successfuly tested our JCo connectors in NW. Our SLD connector is tested successfully.
When we try to create a connector from within CC, we get nothing in the drop-down for JCO Destination. If we try to search for a connector name in AE, we get nothing.
We have verified that our CC user account is OK in SAP, and has the CC Administrator role in SAP.
We have verified that the SLD account is not expired or locked.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks!

Jennifer,
I would suggest you try this also.,
VIRSAR3_01_MODEL
VIRSAR3_01_METADATA
And I believe you have defined your SLD data supplier in the SLD.
Thanks.

  • JCo Destinations are not visible

    Hi Friends,
I created JCo destinationation in WebDynpro Console by clicking the button "JCO Create Destination", getting message created successfully.
If I click the button "Maintain JCO Destinations", not able to see the destination. If I create new one again with the same name it is not allowing me.
    Please help in this.
    Regards,

    Hi Lakshmi,
I think there is problem with your SLD.
Please check your SLD is running and also check the SLD Data Suplier fetching data successful or not in the Visual Administrator.

  • Hard drives not visible in Disk Utility

I decided to add two additional 1.5 TB drives to my (early 2008) Mac Pro, in addition to the two 1.0 TB drives already there. I have a Mac RAID card, but the drives were not configured into an array because I was having battery and setting problems with the RAID card as described in previous posts.
I perhaps got the the not so bright idea to reconfigure my system from scratch, so I put the two 1.5 TB drives in, created partitions via Disk Utility, and then took all the drives out. I then put one of the new 1.5 TB drives in only, and re-installed OS X. So far, so good. Then, I put all 4 drives in, including the previous 1.0 TB drive with OS X on it.
Interestingly, the system then booted to the old 1.0 TB drive with OS X, and then it 'hung' on something with the spinning icon. I shut it down, and then put the new 1.5 TB with OS X, but it would not start. I yanked out the RAID card, figuring it was not helping. I managed to put the Boot DVD in, and the system does boot to DVD. However, it cannot visualize any drive at all, only the two DVDs in Disk Utility.
I tried several things. One is hardware scan by holding the 'D' key on startup -> no errors.
I then tried resetting the PRAM holding the command-option-P-R keys, same issue - boots to DVD, but no drives.
I then tried resetting what I think is the SMC, which is a button on the motherboard down near where the memory slots, and there a green light comes on next to the STBY area.
I'm out of the Apple care warranty, and I guess I'll have to pay for support going into the Mac Store, but I am hopeful someone has an idea.
I wondered if the cable from the SATA connector to the motherboard was loose, but it appears intact. However, I'm not sure how to get the plastic cage off.

Good idea, but the RAID card is out, and even the original drives are not visible. There is some type of BIOS or some related error.

  • JCo Connector  (jco.jar) version 2.1.8 certified for use against R/3 4.6c ?

I would like to know if SAP has certified the JCo connector version 2.1.8 for connecting with R/3 4.6c systems.  The JCo connector is used by an iWay connector in an Oracle application server version 10.1.2.
Can anyone comment on this? Thanks!

    Hello Philip,
the offical supported release by JCo 2.1.8 are listed on the given link above:
    https://service.sap.com/~form/sapnet?_SHORTKEY=01100035870000463654&
->  "Supports R/3 3.1I and higher (and other SAP Components that have BAPIs or RFMs)."
So this is a SAP product/technology we support always the highest version number. Have a look at SAP note 549268 under the chapter "Solution Support Strategy for SAP JCo" for official support statements.
Of course i cannot comment on the support level of the other vendors which are using this technology. If you want you can open a support call at SAP to get a more specific answer to your question.
Hope this information is useful for you,

  • Jco Destinations not available in GRC AC 5.3

    Hello,
We have installed GRC AC 5.3 with latest patch and configured SLD configuration. It is working fine but the standard virsa Jco destinations are not visible.
Is there any additional settings required to get that Jco destinations?
    Regards,
    Kumar Rayudu

    Hi Kumar,
JCo destinations not showing might be happening because of following two reasons
    1. AC capabilities are not deployed properly as mentioned by our friends in this message.
    2. Might be an issue with SLD Data Supplier in Visual Admin(VA):
To resolve this logon to VA and select "SLD Data Supplier" under services. On right hand side bottom, you will see
tabs of "Information", "HTTP Settings" & "CIM Client Generation Settings".
Make sure entries in these tabs are correct and check for Data Transfer through SLD in these tabs. Once these tests are passed. Restart who system (not just J2ee).
If the issue still persists, redploy AC capabilities via SDM with "Deployment Configuration" is set to "Update deployed SDA/SCAs that have any version".
    Hope this resolves your issue.
    Best Regards,
    Sirish Gullapalli.

  • "Display Form" button not visible in UWL preview

    Hi Friends,
We are implementing Travel module. The standard Workflow WS20000050 has a single level of approval. However, we wanted 2 level approval and so accordingly this was implemened.
Now we want a 3rd level of decision step to be approved by the traveldesk on recept of tickets.
Even the pdf form, which contains the travel details, needs to be visible. In the standard task TS20000118, the "Display Form" button is automatically visible in the UWL preview apart from the usual
    "Approve" and "Reject" buttons.
However the content that needs to be shown to the traveldesk is different. To achieve this, i copied the standard task TS20000118 and changed only the task description. Rest everything including the parameters and binding remains same.
But for this task, the "Display Form" button is not visible.
    1. Please advice on the possible reasons why this is happening ?
    2. Is there any setting or any SPRO configuration wherin we need to
specify the tasks for whom the button needs to be displayed ?? or
Is it some portal side configuration ?
    Thanks,
    Shashank

    Hi Vijay,
    Goto:
Universal Worklist Content Configuration -> Click to Administrate Item Types and View Definitions
In the table under the "Current Configurations" tab, select the standard travel configuration provided by SAP -> "com.sap.pct.erp.mss.tra".
Here, search for the code of the task for which everything is working fine; in our case it was TS20000118. Copy this piece of code.
Now download the currently active XML configuration. In the saved XML file, search for the task code which is not working as expected. Replace this piece of code with the code copied in the above step. Save with a different name.
Upload this new configuration with HIgh priority.
Reregister the connector and clear the cache.
These steps solved my problem. Probably it should work for you too.
    Regards,
    Shashank

  • UWL Approve Reject button not visible

    Hello Experts,
We have implemented Portal 7.0 SP 18 and configured UWL. All task items are appearing correctly.
But approve and reject button is not visible in UWL. The same is visible in ITS screen when we click on the task.
    Kindly help.
    Regards,
    Nirmal Sivakumar G

    Hi Soral,
All workflows from ECC is causing this problem. To be precise I have configured a webflow connector to pull the tasks from SAP Inbox. The approve/Reject button should appear in UWL ivew when we select the task item. But only forward and resubmit options are visible.
I guess the problem is with SP 18 itself. Coz there are similar threads with the same scenario in SP 18.

  • Iphone not visible in itunes

hi guys i updated ios 5 and when install i got -50 error and failed to restore now my iphone is not visible in itunes and iphone displays connect to itunes and when i insert the usb it gives double beep sound when unplugged it gives single beep pls suggest me wat can be done

Error -50 is a timeout error.  Apple's advice on how to resolve this is:
Perform USB isolation troubleshooting, including trying a different USB port directly on the computer. See the advanced steps below for USB troubleshooting.
Put a USB 2.0 hub between the device and the computer.
    Try a different USB 30-pin dock-connector cable.
    Eliminate third-party security software conflicts.
There may be third-party software installed that modifies your default packet size in Windows by inserting one or more TcpWindowSize entries into your registry. Your default packet size being set incorrectly can cause this error. Contact the manufacturer of the software that installed the packet-size modification for assistance. Or, follow this article by Microsoft: How to reset Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) to reset the packet size back to the default for Windows.
Connect your computer directly to your Internet source, bypassing any routers, hubs, or switches. You may need to restart your computer and modem to get online.
Try to restore from another known-good computer and network.

  • Problems creating JCO connector

We are having some problems when attempting to follow the steps indicated in the Post-Installation Slide Deck of RAR version 5.3. In step 4 (Create JCO Connectors) we are not able to create a new JCO connector associated with the given models in the WebDynpro Content Administrator. The "create" button displayed next to each model is disabled and the status indicated is "Status Unknown" (gray color).
When we test the SLD connection it is pointing to the default URL,  while a different URL was specified during installation given an SLD already existed previous to SAP GRC installation.
Any ideas of where we need to be looking in order to fix this?

    Hi Pablo,
This happens because your SLD bridge is not configured correctly ,
Please follow the steps as under :
    Login to  Visual Administrator.
Expand Navigation menu under J2EE Server Name ,
    Expand Services List
    Click On SLD Data Suppllier
    Click On http settings tab
Enter Host name and port number , user name /password for your system connection.
    Click Save.
Click on CIM Client Generation settings tabs
Enter host name port , user account details you entered in http settings tab .
    Click Save.
Click Supplier ( data transfer)icon on top of pane to transfer data information you have entered in sld supplier.
A pop up window appears  " trigger SLD data transfer" )
    Click = yes.
A pop-up with appear indicating transfer successful.
If this window does not appear , then SLD needs to be configured properly,
    launch http://<hostname>:<portnumber>/sld
Click on Administration > Initial setup
    Fill in values for :
Object server name :Name of computer <SPACE> 1
    E.g AG500900A 1
Gate way host : Name of computer as above.
gateway port : portnumber as used in URL .
Import software catalog check box = OK
    Import SLD objects
(close to 95791 objects need to get imported , wait for sometime till they are imported )
After importing is done , refresh once.
This should resolve, however if you still face it then setup technical system at
    http://<hostname>:<portnumber>/sld
    HOME > Techinical systems .
    Click new technical system
    Select webas ABAP
the details need to be fetched from SAP R/3 system for which JCO is to be created.

  • Data Servers Enabled Servers not visible

    Hi,
We seem to be having a problem with xMII at the moment.  Enabled servers within Data Servers are not visible.  The windows is completely blank.  After unchecking Show Only Enabled Server we get the following error as below and no connectors are visible.  The version of xMII being used is 11.5.  Any pointers on how to solve this.

    Give these URL's a try:
    /Lighthammer/Illuminator?Service=SystemInfo&Mode=ServerList
    /Lighthammer/Illuminator?Service=SystemInfo&Mode=ServerList&Mask=Disabled
They should essentially give you the list of active and disabled data servers (much like the jsp page is trying to do)
It is possible you managed to get an invalid name in the system and that's causing the error.
You could also look carefully into the Server.xml file in the Conf directory.
A ServletExec restart will also cause the system to re-read the file and log out trace information about the data server in the cms.log file (you'll see Loading Servers... and then you should see them one at a time).

  • MII 12.1: SSO with JCO Connector

Ok so I'm trying to setup MII 12.1.5 Build 87 to pass SSO ticket through JCO connector onto the respective SAP System.
MII is getting the ticket because it logs in automatically. So that's covered.
The checkbox for use of "SSO" in System Connection Editor is checked
The checkbox for AutoBind in the XacuteConnector is checked
Transaction property of "MYSAPSSO2" has been created and mapped to SAPSSO2Ticket property of JCO action
Now is all this supposed to override the system and user alias in the configuration of the JCO block?
What am i missing here that it's not working?
One thing I haven't tried yet is to export the MII TicketKeystore - SAPLogonTicketKeypair - cert , certificate and import it into the respective R/3 system....will try now since it just came to mind.
Anyone have any thoughts because i'm hitting a dead end here...

    Alin here is the solution...
You are right to have these steps...
The checkbox for use of "SSO" in System Connection Editor is checked
The checkbox for AutoBind in the XacuteConnector is checked
Transaction property of "MYSAPSSO2" has been created and mapped to SAPSSO2Ticket property of JCO action
    But you also need...
Create a transaction property called MYSAPSSO2 and assign a value of SAPSSO2Ticket
Open your existing JCO Action block --> Configure Links --> Incoming --> <JCO Action Name> -->
Assign SAPUserName a value of "$MYSAPSSO2$"
    and
    Assign SAPSSO2Ticket a value of Transaction.MYSAPSSO2
Start and Stop SAPMMC and test the SSO
Also, there were some talks of SAP and MII servers having the same timezone, but I tested it with the same and without the same timezone and it appears to work either way.

  • External hard drive not visible in disk utility or finder

    Hi all,
I have had a good look through previous discussions and I can't seem to find an issue relevant to mine.
My external hard drive has 2 partitions (1 time machine back up, 1 general hard drive). The issue is that the HD is running when it is plugged in however it is not visible in either disk utility or finder.
I am running OS X 10.10 (Yosemite) on a 2010 MacBook Pro. I also have parallels desktop running windows 7. When I boot windows and plug in the HD I usually get the option to mount the HD to either OS X or Windows. With this issue the option window appears for a split second (not enough time to select either) and then disappears. It seems that the HD may be ejecting itself as soon as it is registered by the computer. I have tried using a different power cable for the HD and also a different usb cable, this doesn't help.
The external HD is a Samsung D3 Station, which i have had for 6 months now and never had an issue with.
    Any help is appreciated
    Thanks,
    Bruce

An update for anyone who can help me:
I have tried the external hard drive in other computers (mac and windows), each time I get the same problem above.
I have removed the HD from the enclosure and purchased a docking station for it (3.5" SATA). When I plug it in to the laptop it disconnects itself straight away before it is visible. With the windows computers it installs the drivers and says that the device is ready to use, then disconnects before it shows up.
As the HD is not visible there is no option to re-format or anything.
This is very frustrating as I was using the HD with no issues and it randomly disconnected and I have not been able to access since.
Thanks in advance for any help.

The only thing that I can think of that might be causing the issues that I have a Mac Mini on Mavericks.

    Hi
I have discovered that my question above is a non-question. A user triggered by looking at the below article about Illustrator 2014 cc 17.0.2
    http://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/release-note/illustrator-17-0-2-release-notes.html
He had recently upgraded from wht we now know is 18.0 to 18.1 which is the latest version. He read the above artic
le and supposed that it was a bug fix release for his version - because the v17 ov18 number is not often displayed. It is usually just 2014 CC.
I have asked him to post a bug report about Adobe Illustrator CC 2014.1

  • IDOC not visible in IR but metadata successfully imported

    Hi,
    I have this wiered issue.
I want to import IDOC WPUSKR01 (cashier productivity) from BI.
But when I connect to BI system from IR to import Idoc structure, this IDOC is not visible.
But I can manually import the metadata from BI in idx2.
Now how to import this in IR?
I have imported other Idocs (like WPUBON) before and did the scenario successfully for BI.
    Regards,
    Anirudh Vyas.

    Hi,
In BI Tcode we82 I have manually added the entries for WPUKSR01. Now Idoc is visible when importing in IR.
I have checked all the segments in we31, they are all released.
    But it gives error:
Error: IDoc type WPUKSR01 contains errors (unable to read segments)
Then, I checked in R/3, there also WPUKSR01 was not there in we82. I manually added there and I was successfully able to import it in IR.
But the same thing is failing in BI. I have SAPALL permissions in all the systems.
Can I use Idoc imported from R/3 in scenario for BI?
    regards,
    Anirudh.
