CDF for fetching UDA name

Hi Guru,
I have a requirement where i want to fetch the <UDA value> of any member.
for example:
Entity
-- USA(Currency UDA: USD)
--INDIA(Currency UDA: INR)
--UAE(Currency UDA: AED)
I will pass the entity member in any CDF and it will return my the Currency UDA
@JcurrencyUda("USA") and it should return USD as member or string format.
Please let me know how to write such type of CDF.
Regards,

Hi Avneet, I can't answer your question directly but I admit that I'm curious about exactly what you're trying to do. It sounds like currency conversion, obviously, but I haven't run into a currency conversion method that required the use of a CDF. Could you expand a little?

  • XPath expression for fetching element names & attributes

    Hi out there!
    Im trying to get a result set out of a xml schema, using XPath. The problem is, that any expression gets just a whole node set back, as it seems. The result Id like to get would be the following. Imagine I got a schema like this:
    <schema xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
    xmlns:r="http://recipes.org"
    targetNamespace="http://recipes.org"
    elementFormDefault="qualified">
    <element name="recipe">
    <complexType>
    <sequence>
    <element name="title" type="string"/>
    <element ref="r:ingredient" minOccurs="0" maxOccurs="unbounded"/>
    <element ref="r:preparation"/>
    <element name="comment" minOccurs="0" type="string"/>
    <element name="nutrition">
    <complexType>
    <attribute name="protein" type="r:nonNegativeDecimal" use="required"/>
    <attribute name="carbohydrates" type="r:nonNegativeDecimal" use="required"/>
    <attribute name="fat" type="r:nonNegativeDecimal" use="required"/>
    <attribute name="calories" type="r:nonNegativeDecimal" use="required"/>
    <attribute name="alcohol" type="r:nonNegativeDecimal" use="optional"/>
    </complexType>
    </element>
    </sequence>
    </complexType>
    </element>
    </schema>
    Now, when I`m refering to the element <attribute name="protein" type="r:nonNegativeDecimal" use="required"/>, I would like to get all ancestors of it, which is not a big issue at all, but i`d just like to get their names and attributes, if they have some. So the result should be something like:
    <element name="recipe">
    <complexType>
    <sequence>
    <element name="nutrition">
    <complexType>
    </complexType>
    </element>
    </sequence>
    </complexType>
    </element>
    Any ideas anybody?
    Thanks in advance, Jens

    Well, I would use the org.apache.xpath.XPathAPI class and parse the input XML into a DOM document., and then utilize the single xpath expression //attribute[@name=protein]/ancestor::* to recover all ancestors (in a directal-tree-traversal order) of any node called "attribute" and with attr "name=protein" .
    Could it be?

  • Fetching session names from repository using Informatica SDK

    Hi guys, I'm using the Informatica SDK to create a java application that accesses the Informatica repository. I'm having a bit of an issue while trying to fetch the names of already created sessions from the Informatica Repository. I'm able to connect to the repo without any issues and have been able to add sources, targets, mappings, sessions, workflows, etc... and save them directly afterwards. However, when I try to fetch the session names from a folder in the repository, I get the following error: Mon Jul 27 15:03:01 PDT 2015  Severity:DEBUG  ThreadID:14 Running the pmrep process in the working directory: [C:\Informatica\9.6.1\clients\PowerCenterClient\client\bin].Mon Jul 27 15:03:01 PDT 2015  Severity:DEBUG  ThreadID:14 Running the command [listobjects -o session  -f "TechOps" -s .].Mon Jul 27 15:03:01 PDT 2015  Severity:DEBUG  ThreadID:14 Running the command [exit].Mon Jul 27 15:03:01 PDT 2015  Severity:DEBUG  ThreadID:14 Parsing the output of the ListObjects command for each folder.Mon Jul 27 15:03:01 PDT 2015  Severity:DEBUG  ThreadID:14 The following errors occurred while running the ListObjects command: [Failed to read repository connection information. Here's my code for fetching: // Create a list of session names and store the namesList<String> sessionNames = null;try {      sessionNames = folder.fetchSessionNamesFromRepository();} catch (RepoOperationException e) {      // TODO Auto-generated catch block      e.printStackTrace();} catch (MapFwkReaderException e) {      // TODO Auto-generated catch block      e.printStackTrace();} // Print the list of session namesfor (int i = 0; i < sessionNames.size(); i++) {System.out.println("Session " + i + " is " + sessionNames.get(i));} I've confirmed that the folder object works fine as I can add and save other objects to that folder in the repo. The other thing is that if I go to the Informatica path on my drive and run the pmrep command followed by the command for fetching session names, it works fine. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    Hi Shruti,
    Instead of doing the following when setting the font attributes:
    FontImpl fnt = (FontImpl)res.getFont();
    fnt.getDecoration().setTextColor(c1);
    res.setFont(fnt);
    Try doing this instead:
    res.getAttributes().setForeground(c1);
    res.getFont().setSize(10);
    Hope this helps.

    Hi all..
    How to fetch approver name and approval date dynamicall for an user in an email template..
    can any help me to sort out this pbm,i am new to IDM..
    Thanks in advance..

    Access policies get a static value.  You can't populate a field with an adapter.  If you must do this, leave the field blank, and put an adapter on the process form for your field that must be populated using code or logic.

  • Fetching UDA for a member

    Hi All,
    I have chekced all the functions but could not get any function to fetch UDA for a member in calc script.
    Is there any function available to do this?
    Thanks

    Hi,
    I think that isn't possible with UDAs, but you could try using Attribute Dimensions... With the function @ATTRIBUTESVAL you can fetch the assigned attribute for the currently calculated member...
    Example*
    This example is based on the Sample Basic database.
    The Product dimension is associated with the Pkg Type text attribute dimension, as shown in the following example:
    +Product {Pkg Type}+
    +100+
    +100-10 {Pkg Type:Can}+
    +100-20 {Pkg Type:Can}+
    +100-30 {Pkg Type:Bottle}+
    +200+
    +200-10 {Pkg Type:Bottle}+
    +200-20 {Pkg Type:Bottle}+
    +200-30 {Pkg Type:Bottle}+
    +200-40 {Pkg Type:Bottle}+
    +Pkg Type Attribute {Type: Text}+
    Bottle
    Can
    For the current member of the base dimension, Product, the function
    +@ATTRIBUTESVAL("Pkg Type")+
    returns the associated attribute value from the text attribute dimension, Pkg Type.
    Hope this helps...
    Kind regards

  • Fetch Unique name for a userid column in splist

    Hi,
    I have a requirement. In my splist, I having a column named userid which is a user type column and it repeats multiple times.
    Now, as I have created a web part which lists the "Name" column in a gridview based on the filtering.teh filtering rules is :
    1) Fetch the current logged in user
    2) Check whther the current logged in user's id present in this splist's UserId column.
    3) If yes, I need to fetch the Name column for that row and come out of the loop
    note: i didnt use CAML here.
    Now, My issue is, though i  fetched this column,i am getting multiple entries of this userid.
    I want to get the unique entry -[ i mean,  currentloggeduserid==UserId value of the column ]. i think  is there any way, i can get the Distinct entry of "Name" column/value by matching the userid. when i ran the below code,
    i am getting multiple "Name" columns for the currentloggedinuser value.
    but I need one and only one "Name"  column.
    may i know  how to perform this.
    should i apply join for this.
    help is appreciated!

  • Trace file analysis: High cpu timings for FETCH

    Hi!
    I am doing a 10046 trace file analysis for a performance problem we see on a customer site, but we can't reproduce the problem on our local reference test system.
    Basically, the cpu timings for FETCH calls for a SELECT statement are ten times as high on the customer system. There are no WAIT events in the trace file (for this statement), only a high cpu timing for the FETCHES:
    Customer instance:
    FETCH #19:c=140625,e=140189,p=0,cr=3358,cu=0,mis=0,r=1,dep=1,og=1,tim=1500177409
    Reference system;
    FETCH #4:c=15625,e=7984,p=0,cr=2262,cu=0,mis=0,r=1,dep=1,og=1,tim=5624714062
    I see that the number of consistant reads is 50% higher, but I don't see why this result in 10 times the CPU time and about 20 times the elapsed time. This is does not seem to be a general problem with all statements, so the general timings are comparable to our reference system. The problem seems to be this Select statement only which only joins two tables.
    I had the idea that a long running transaction that didn't commit would lead to this problem, since Oracle would need to reconstruct blocks from undo, but there are no such transactions on the system.
    With no WAIT events emitted, where does the time go?
    Thanks for your help,
    Marcus

    You have omitted the predicate section from the execution plan - and [+*there may be important clues*+|http://jonathanlewis.wordpress.com/2008/12/03/predicate-problems/] in the predicate section.
    In your case the problem may +(*for example*+) simply be the way in which the predicates apply to the PLANSCHRITTFOLGEPK index range scan.
    Imagine you have 250 index entries per leaf block, and the predicates that apply to the index identify an index range scan that spans 25 entries in one system but 25000 entries (100 leaf blocks) in the other. It is possible that filter predicates against the index eliminate most of the index entries before you go to the table. The CPU used to examine (filter) large numbers of index leaf entries can be significant - and since that index range scan is part of a filter subquery it could many several time - escalating the CPU usage. A check of the access and filter predicates may give you some clue about whether you are seeing that type of problem.

  • Variable subsitution for target file names

    Hi All,
    I am using variable subsitution for dynamic file names. I am using the multimapping for multiple files in the target.So i coluld not able to use the dynamic configuration for file names. Now i want to replace all the spaces in the filename to underscore.
    For example
    My payload filed value "file name in the target file".
    Now my filename  "file_name_in_the_target_file".
    How to achieve this using Variable subsitution.
    Regards,
    Ramalakshmi.G

    Use replaceString Function.
    file name
    Constant (" ")               --> replaceString -------> TargetField
    Constant ("_")

    Yes, since you are using an expression, you need to give a valid identifier for the expression.

  • How to look for the Table Name

    Hi Friends,
    Sometimes we need to download the table for the desired information if the same is not available from a particular report. How to look for the table name? Is there a report or a particular feild, where we can find the name of the particular table?
    Thanks for the assistance.
    Regards

    Hi Friend,
    If you want to see the structures then go to SE11. Sometimes it happens that you cannot find the table names but only fields. In such case, if you want to find the Table names which is not available, then go to SE90.
    Abap Dictionary > Fields > Table Fields.
    Now Enter the Field name in Right Hand Side of the screen then Execute. You will see the all tables by which that Fields are used.

  • Multiple drag emails from Mail to a finder window and for it to name the files as the subject heading

    Hi
    I have been using Mac's now for about 10 years and this is my first problem.
    I have recently moved into an office that use PC's with a Windows server.
    I have set up the network to transfer files and view the windows server and it  works fine.
    I have a problem in that my colleagues on PC need to be able to view my emails which I send and receive using Mail. They therefore need to have logical title names and the date sent and ideally who to or from. I view them and archive them using Mail which is fine for me.
    I understand about the archiving and copying of mailboxes but this gives every email the un-fathomable title name 9944847 etc.
    I can get round the problem by dragging and dropping every email I send and receive individually and it will automatically give it a more logical title of the subject heading however the date is when it was dragged not when sent. This is a pain if I am away or forget to save an email for a day or two and then the date is inconsistent.
    Is there a way to batch copy emails from Mail to a finder window and for it to name the files as the subject heading or to archive the files in a similar way so they retain the detailed information my colleagues require.
    And no I can not get to all change to Mac and I don't really fancy using Outlook, Entourage or Parallels.
    Please help.
    Toby

    Quit Mail. Force quit if necessary.
    Back up all data. That means you know you can restore the Mail database, no matter what happens.
    Triple-click the text on the line below to select it:
    ~/Library/Mail/V2/MailData/Envelope Index
    Copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C). In the Finder, select
    Go ▹ Go to Folder
    from the menu bar. Paste into the box that opens (command-V), then press return.
    A Finder window will open with a file selected. Move the selected file to the Desktop, leaving the window open. Other files in the folder may have names that begin with "Envelope Index". Move those files, if any, to the Trash. Relaunch Mail. It should prompt you to re-import your messages. You may get a warning that the index is corrupt and that Mail has to quit. Click OK.
    Test. If Mail now works as expected, you can delete the file you moved to the Desktop. If you get a warning that the file is in use when you try to empty the Trash, log out and log back in.
