Central bank indicator
Hello all,
I have got a question about central bank indicators.
In our SAP system the central bank indicator is flagged as required in the field status group of the reconciliation account,
When I post an invoice to a cross border vendor in our Germany company code it asks me to fill in a central bank indicator.
When I post an invoice to a cross border vendor in our Norwegian company code it doesn't asks me for the central bank indicator.
Do you know why in one company code it is required while in the other company code it's not?.
The vendors in both company codes have central bank indicator as required in the field status group of the reconciliation account
Thanks for your help

Consignment and CBI (central bank indicator)
All,
We are trying to do a consignment settlement for a Vietnam site. The settlement fails because it is expecting a CBI (central bank indicator). The exact error is "no batch input data for screen sapmssy3 0131 Document could not be posted. The sender and receiver are in the same country. Can someone tell me:
1) what determines the need for CBI? I thought it was the fact that the sender and receiver were in different countries but this is not the case.
2) How do I get around this error to allow settlement? Is there missing configuration or missing master data?
Thank you for your response to this.
Regards,
SandraI did this customizing for a German client. Never knew it is used in Norway as well.
You are right, it has to be entered manually in line items. Here is what SAP says about SCB Indicator (I highlighted the relevant text).
Define SCB Indicator for Foreign Trade Regulations
In this activity, you define information using an indicator which is needed for reporting according to German foreign trade regulations (AWV) for foreign payment transactions and which shows the reason for payment. You must enter the indicator in the line item. The reasons for payment stored for the indicator are transferred when you print the form or in the corresponding data medium exchange.

Central bank indicator in Norwegian vendor invoice
Hi all
We plan to use the Telepay file format for our norwegian subsidiary.
The flat file seems is compliant with the bank requirements except
that at the begininng, for the Regulatory reporting codes and
descriptions (line BETFOR04 167-172 and 173-232), we had to define them in the State Central Bank Indicator customizing.
Unless I am wrong, there is no way to have automatically
this State Central Bank Indicator defaulted when entering the vendor invoice as it is for the withholding tax code for instance.
So it seems that whenever we enter a foreign vendor invoice, we always have to fill manually this field Central Bank Indicator (BSEG-LZBKZ).
Is that the normal SAP process in Norway or can it be done another way ?

Validation on Central bank indicator
Hello Experts,
We have written a validation to Set up a warning message (validation) for set of company codes for their intercompany vendors to put in a central bank indicator. The pop-up field message should be: Note: If it is a foreign payment, please enter central bank indicator!
We are able to through the validation at Posting key level(31) (Tcode F-43) .
But here our problem is to restrict the above validation for set of INCO vendors. Since the above validation is working fine but for every INCO vendor because we are restricign at Posting level but we do not want central bank indicator to be made mandatory for every INCO vendor.
Can anybody help me in this regard?
Thanks a lot
Sureshhi,
1)group your vendors:
-with field vbund
-own custom table
-another field of LFa1/LFb1
2) if field is not available at runtime with normal validation, use an exit like Re: Block Postings to specific account/profit center combinations
pls reward useful answers
thank you

State central bank indicator a required field
Hello all,
when posting a vendor invoice, I need to make the state central bank indicator (BSEG-LZBKZ) a required field, for a specific company code and for specific countries. can you help me by telling me the best way to do this? thank you
DanielChanging field status of posting key 31 to make 'SCB / Supplying Country' (in 'Foreign payments' section) Req. Entry is one option, but that would apply for all entities in the client. The only other alternative that I can think of is to have a validation (OB28) for specific company code(s), T code FB60 or MIRO, and country DE, to throw an error message when the field value is blank.

Banking: What is the Central Bank Indicator
Hi,
I am making a test to post a vendor invoice via Tr. FB60.
I get a message from a validation to enter the central bank indicator.
What is the purpose of it?
Where can I update it? in Tr Fk02?
Thank you for your advice.
Kind regards,
LindaThe state central bank indicator is required when you create an invoice for a foreign vendor.
In some countries, the state central bank indicator is also required if the document currency is not the same as the local currency, or payment is effected via a foreign bank.

"State Central Bank Indicator" (BSEG-LZBKZ)
Hi All,
with reference to the field "State Central Bank Indicator" (BSEG-LZBKZ), for documents creted with a purchase order, I wonder when the data "State Central Bank Indicator" is filled in...
When I create the purchase order (ME21N)
Or when i execute the MIRO?
Thanks a lot
GandalfHi Gandalf,
I believe,This is for a MIRO Transaction.
Because it is Comming From table RBKP and then moving to BSEG.
And it is Defined in the SPRO in the Path
SPRO>Financial Accounting>Account Rec and Acc Payable>Business trnx>Incomming invoices-->Define SCB Indicator for Foreign Trade Regulations
Hope so it helps

No visibility of state central bank indicator (LZB-KZ) in invoice header
Hi all,
in the help documentation for SRM 7.0 (SAP Library - Invoice Entry)
is mentioned that the SCB field (LZB-KZ) can be made visible on the invoice header screen.
Whether or not this field is visible depends on a country-specific BAdI. This BAdI is only available for Germany and Holland.
We have SRM 7.01.
Did anybody already find this BAdI and could tell me the name?
I also did not find the IMG-Path to Supplier Relationship Management ® SRM Server ® Cross-Application Basic Settings ® Personalization ® Activate Country-Specific Fields
mentioned in the help documentation.
Any help?
Best regards
JoeHello Joe,
i think you have to activate the country-specific business function for country concerned.
Check in SFW5 transaction.
Once activated, i think path in SPRO will appear.
Regards.

Z4 report Foreign trade regulations SCB indicator (central bank key)
hello all,
i was wondering what is triggering the Z4 report Foreign trade regulations report?
Is it the SCB indicator (central bank key)?
If an invoice is missing that indicator, could it be that the report shows no output?
You can find the indicator in FB03, go to the line item of the vendor, 'more data' tab.
Actually the indicator is triggered in MIRO from materials management.
If the indicator is missing, can it be inserted through another transaction code? I have tried in FB02 but the central bank key indicator isn't changeable...
Regards,
PamelaHi Pamela Mungur,
I came across your thread in SDN regarding Z4 report, I am very greatful if you share your experience on below point:
1. Is SCB indicator always need to input while posting Invoices (MM or SD) or Can we input while posting Payment also.
2. How can we Ensure, user always enter SCB in transaction data, as i cannot make it as mandatory at Field status definition level.
3. I unable to find the Field to input SCB value while creating invoice through SD module.
Thanks in advance for your valuable time and effort. Please feel to ask to create new thread if required.
Thanks...Venkat -
C80 Reporting to French central bank of France using RFIDITSR00
Hello Gurus, I was unable, so far...., on finding how to complete the field Code Identifier in the DMEE tree format ITSR_FR_C80. This field is located in the Record Detail and should be completed with values like 09820 ; 09822 or 09821 according to the bank used for the payment. I did not find any sap documentation on this topic. the only I have is delivered by the Bank of France. Unfortunately this "lady" does not know SAP.
I would appreciate your help.
Thanks in advance.
HenriHello Renan,
Thanks for your answer, with the correction made by SAP.
Good to know: the document C80 issued by the French central bank conflicts with the solution made by SAP. After some inquiries It sound like this C80 document is an old document still to be replaced by a new one in compliance with the sap solution.

Thanks again.

When I click the review button, I would like the program to do all the checking to make sure there is no data violation. The program is supposed to check if the bank key is in xxx-xxx format and validityPeriodFrom is earlier than validilityPeriodTo. As the REVIEW button is generally used for all the applications. I would like to know how the program knows if the ESS banking is currently loaded? Thanks.
Hello Bali
When you click on Review Button in any Bank ESS application it calls PerBank Component of the Footer. example : Germany Bank application ess/de/bank when you click on the Review
Component Controller VcPerBankDEDetail
public void onFlush( )
//@@begin onFlush()
String event = fpm.getEventData().getEventName();
if (event.equals(IFPM.EVENT_REVIEW)){
wdContext.currentSelectedInfotypeElement().setBegda(
wdContext.currentContextElement().getBegda());
wdContext.currentSelectedInfotypeElement().setEndda(
wdContext.currentContextElement().getEndda());
if (wdThis.wdGetFcPersInfoInterface().checkValidityOfDate()){
wdThis.wdGetFcPerBankXXInterface().modifyRecord();
wdThis.wdGetFcPerBankXXInterface().modifyRecord(); contains all the Business Logic like validations ...etc

Payment Medium Probelm.
Hi All,
When I am trying to generate payment medium from F110 I am getting the below error messges.
1) Supplier Country's country key is missing or is not valid
2) SCB(State Central Bank) Indicator is missing or is not valid.
Could you please explain me, is there any customizing is missing or any problem with the documents.
Thanks in Advance
Ranga SwamyHi
Please check whether the Vendor's bank account has any bank key defined. If not maintain the same in the Vendor Master - general view. Please note the bank key is specific to the Country key.
Hope this should help you.
Regards
Nambi -
All,
When entering an invoice using transaction MIRO, we are getting the error "check whether data is required for foreign payments". Any idea what is causing this message? If we enter a CBI (central bank indicator) the invoice will post but this was not needed for 4.5. The vendor, plant are in the same country (Spain).
This works in 4.5 and the CBI is not required.
Ideas?
Regards,
SandraHi Sandra
Can you please check whether the OSS note 519945 is relevant for you.
assign points, if useful

help me out that how can we utilize Suffix And Prefix in marketing Document.
we have created Suffix And prefix but they are not shown in the Document formHI
Object code means the B1 internal object types.
>>I Want to identify that which Document Have Suffix And Prefix in the NNM1 Table.
It is considering you? You must have to put a field where you concatenating the prefixdocnumsuffix, and this will be your docnum.
If yes, You can use next segment to connect to objtype ....
