Cfdiv bind issue with IE

I have a form with two radio buttons where a cfdiv uses the values to load a form depending on the value passed. Everything works well in FF and Safari, but in IE, you have to click away from the radio button for the bind to work. In FF and Safari the bind works on click. Any ideas on how to resolve this?

Don't use IE... ha!
Not really an answer but I would look at the generated source code (view source) from your browser. This should lead you to the culprit.

A data-binding issue with a combo box.

Iu2019m having a data-binding issue with a combo box. The field it is bound to is an integer. The valid values in the combo box are 1, 2, and 3. If I add a record when it is set to 1 or 2, the value gets stored correctly. If I add a record when it is set to 3, it is stored as 1. However, I can bring up the record just added on the form, change it to 3, and click u201CUpdateu201D and it is saved correctly as 3. If I change it so that the valid values are 4, 5, and 6, it saves a 1 regardless of what is selected in the combo box. It looks like the combo box is correctly bound for updates but not for adds. The table is a master type UDO. Any ideas? Iu2019m somewhat committed to the field being an integer. I'm using 2007A PL47.

I tried a few things on my own. The result is that I decided that it was not a good idea to use a combo box bound to an integer (numeric) field. I donu2019t think the SDK can handle it. The reason it was an integer field in the first place is that before I changed it to a combo box it was a group of two option buttons. Option buttons use an integer (numeric) field. This worked just fine until I added a third option; the SDK didnu2019t handle the third option correctly when adding records. I thought that using a combo box instead would fix that. I was wrong; the problem remained. So I decided to use a character (alphanumeric) field instead. This works just fine.
So here is my advice: Never use option buttons if they need to be bound to the database; a combo box will actually work better when bound to the database. But use a character (alphanumeric) field.

Crystal report Parameter binding issue with Liveoffice

Hello,
I have created a Crystal report on top of BW query. In crystal report when parameter is set to null the report gets all data from BW query.
On inserting the same Crystal report to Live office document on binding the parameter i get the data for selected value for parameter but i am not able to set the parameter to null to get all the data from BW queries.

I was able to solve the issue with the below code. I have added a parameter value as <Not Specifed> in paramter.

Binding issues with viewState

Hi I am having trouble getting my states to work properly with the bindings.
I have a component and there are multiple states defined for that component.
A state change happens on various situations.
like a event getting fired or based on the data coming from a service call.
The currentstate is Bindable to a property (jobstate) in a DataModel ( Singleton ).
So a state change happens based on the jobstate property thats being set.
But I am having touble getting the correct state to to show properly.

Curious key binding issue with Openbox

I'm learning about setting up key bindings for actions in Openbox. One of things that I wanted to do is to have the root-menu and client-list-combined-menu set to keyboard shortcuts. This part I borrowed from a post in the forums and it does exactly what it's supposed to do:

The issue comes when I don't want to select something in the menu. Esc will clear it just like it should. But, The Caps Lock key on my system which is remapped to Esc won't. It works like an escape key everywhere except here. Any ideas on why?

Bind Variables with AND in String causing Issues in XML & Report Outputs

I'm creating a BI Publisher report (10.1.3.2) and am experiencing an issue with the interprutation of Bind Variables in the Data Template.
Here is an example of some of the Data template

The particular string value that is causing a problem is "Travel and Expenditure". I believe it is due to the "AND" in the string but this string value cannot be changed in the database to say "Travel & Expenditure".
I have thought about using a REPLACE function in the SELECT statement but see this as an ugly solution.

Integrated Planning: Planning Functions in the Web - Issues with Binding

We are on SPS 11 and are having some difficulties getting our Planning Functions to execute corerctly in the web templates.
I have created a simple planning function that performs a distribution.
The Planning Function works as expected using the plannning wizard and ristricts the data based on the Filter that I have created on the Aggregation Level as well as the Planning Function Selections.
I have created a query and web template that contains the same restriction as the filter in my aggregation level. The Agg Level filter / planning function and Query Filter all contain the Hierarchy Node Variable ZN_CC1 for the standard Cost Center Hierarchy.
I have created the following 4 Planning Buttons to test the execution of the Planning Function in the Web:
1. Planning Function Simple. Binding ref to the DP_1 (Query), Variable = Hierarchy Variable ZN_CC1, Planning Function ZDistrib1.
2. Planning Function Simple. Binding ref to the DP_1 (Query), Variable = Variable Input String Default ZN_CC1, Planning Function ZDistrib1.
3. Planning Function Simple. Binding ref to the DP_1 (Query), Variable = Hierarchy Variable ZN_CC1, Planning Function ZDistrib1. Display variable property selected.
4. Planning Function Simple. Binding ref to the DP_1 (Query), Cost Center Characteristic Data Provider Selection Default, Planning Function ZDistrib1.
When the query is executed and a node representing a group in the hierarchy is selected the query is executed and is input ready for the selected group. This is a subset of the hierarchy.
When the above planning fucntions are executed the following results display.
1. The planning function is executed however it is not restricted to the selection based on the hierarhcy variable node selected by the user. The planning function is executed for the entrire hierarchy. It is not restricted by the cost center hierarchy node variable value.
2. The planning function is executed however it is not restricted to the selection based on the hierarhcy variable node selected by the user. The planning function is executed for the entrire hierarchy. It is not restricted by the cost center hierarchy node variable value.
3. The variable popup displays and a hierarchy node is selected. If I goto to the filter web item and edit the cost center filter by selecting and adding all available cost centers to the filter. (This list of cost centers is restricted to the cost centers subordinate to the hierarhcy node selected in the variable)
When the above the planning functions are executed the function is now restricted to the cost centers added to the filter as explained above.
If anyone has had a similar issue with Planning Functions executing for data outside of the Dataprovider Selections I would be interested to know how you managed to get the planning function to retrict to the DP Selections that include hierarchy node variables.
If anyone from SAP can comment before I raise this as an OSS issue it would be much appreciated.

Question about cfdiv bind

I'm trying to create a page that displays the results of a query, but will allow you to filter them by date, name, etc. I'm relatively new to this concept, but reading a bit online I found some examples that did what I'm trying to do. I have a few questions and a problem though, if someone is willing to provide a bit of guidance. If it matters, I'm using cf9.
First, can you use a <cfdiv bind to submit multiple url parameters? If so, do I just use a semicolon to separate them like this:
<cfdiv bind="url:mypage.cfm?param1={value1};param2={value2}" />
Second, if you can use this functionality, what's the best way to send dates as url parameters? URLEncodedFormat() and then URLDecode()? All the examples of those tags surround them with # to indicate variables, but since you don't use that notation in a cfdiv bind, do I just put the whole thing inside the {} like this (and then use URLDecode(mydate) on the action page):
<cfdiv bind="url:mypage.cfm?date1={URLEncodedFormat(mydate)} />
Third, I'm having trouble getting the <cfdiv bind to display at all. I have an action page set up (mypage.cfm) that loads fine in a browser, but when I try to add it to another page like this, it doesn't work:

I'm assuming this is because I'm not submitting any parameters on this page to be processed on mypage.cfm, but I don't know if that's true. I'm trying to get the div to display first, then add the dynamic form to filter the results, but maybe it doesn't work that way?

Thank you, I was able to get it mostly working. There was an issue with the server on my system so I had to re-install Coldfusion. It dawned on me that I had cleaned up some files that I was no longer using and might have accidentally gotten rid of something important.
So it's definitely better now. I can change the dates so that I can display records that fall within those date parameters. What I'm trying to do now is be able to sort the records, and I'm having trouble with that. Right now I have a select menu named "sort" with a bunch of values that reference elements in the table: Last Name (Lname), Date Submitted (Reptime), and Date of Absence (Absence_Date). Then in my sql I have "ORDER BY <cfparam value="#url.sort# cfsqltype="cf_sql_varchar">. I don't get any errors or anything, I just don't get any changes to the displayed data. In the above wsdl the collection of fintObjInst if of type xs:anytype. From the wsdl, I do not see the xsd mapping for AccountIC which includes Name and Desc. Due to which, when invoking the web service from a different client like c#(by creating proxy business service), I am unable to set the parameters for AccountIC. I am using JAX-WS stack and WLS 10.3. I have already looked at blog http://weblogs.java.net/blog/kohlert/archive/2006/10/jaxws_and_type.html but unable to solve this issue. However, at run time using a tool like SoapUI, when this wsdl is imported, I am able to see all the params related to AccountIC class.
Can some one help me with this.

Did you try adding the the XmlSeeAlso annotation to the webservice
@XmlSeeAlso({<package.name>.AccountIC.class})
This will add the schema for the data type (AccountIC) to the WSDL.

Issue with instant ringback when using sip trunk to SP

We have a SIP trunk to a SP connected via one of our Cisco 2911 routers configured as a CUBE.

We also have several ISDN lines that run out via various Cisco routers configured as H323 gateways.
We use 7945 and CIPC for our phones.
We're having an issue with calls going via the SIP trunk where we hear ringing instantly after dialling - but before the actual device at the other end starts ringing (considerable difference).
Using the SIP trunk: If I make a call to my mobile phone - I hear ringing instantly - about 3 rings before my mobile phone actually starts ringing - undesireable.
Using H323 gateway: If I make a call to my mobile phone - I hear silence for a bit - then ringing when the mobile starts ringing - desired.
Using SIP trunk: If I make a call to a landline that is ready - it rings instantly for at least 1 ring - before the actual phone I'm calling starts ringing - undesireable.
Using H323 gateway: There is a momentary pause before hearing ringing on my phone and the phone I dialled - desired.
Using SIP trunk: If I make a call to a landline that is off-hook (with no call-waiting/etc.) - it rings once and then returns the busy signal (the worst issue) - undesireable.
Using H323 gateway: There is a momentary pause before hearing busy signal - desired.
Phone to phone internally (same network): Operates as expected (instantly rings locally and on the phone I'm calling). Between phones that utilise the SIP trunk and phones that utilise the H323 gateways within the same network - communication is instant and as expected.
Any ideas why this happens and how to stop it?

I ended up resolving this issue as follows:
In CUCM, under Device > Device Settings > SIP Profile.
I modifed the profile relevant to my SIP trunk, under the "Trunk Specific Configuration", I set "SIP Rel1XX Options" from "Disabled" to "Send PRACK if 1xx Contains SDP".
Now, I get the expected delay before hearing ringback.

Calling issue with Cisco 7937 conference station

Hi Friends,
I am facing issue wiht Cisco 7937 conference station, our customer have various branch offices accross the world. All branches are connected over MPLS through service provider( SIP service provider) . there is a centralized CUCM and remote office have SIP Voice gateways .
When making calls from once remote site to another using Cisco 6921 phones calls working fine
When making calls from once remote site to another using Cisco 7937 conference station to make call any phone at remote office, calls are getting disconneted, remote phone rings when calls, but its gets fast busy tone when other party picks up the phone and not able to talk.
I suspect the issue with Codec but we have configured transcoders in VG and registered with CUCM
Please help me if any one experience such issue earlier.

Issue with OSI PI WCF Web Service with wshttpbinding

I am having issue when trying to call OSI PI web service using http post. it is returning status 0 when i am using exception handler in BLS.
Same web service works fine with basichttpbinding (SOAP 1.1) but with wshttpbinding (SOAP 1.2) it is giving error.

I am not sure it could be the issue with passing windows credentials.
Did anybody consumed WCF web service with wshttpbinding with security mode as Message and clientCredentialType as Windows.
Also i was trying to pass MYSAPSSO2 SSO token to service in http post but first i am not sure if this is correct windows token and second which header property of service should be mapped and i am not sure that I am going into correct direction or not.
Please let me know what i am missing.

Performance issue with Jdeveloper

Hi Guys,
I am experiencing strange performance issue with Jdeveloper 10.1.3.3.0.4157. There are many other threads regarding the performance issue in this forum, but the problem I have is a little bit different.
I have two computers: one is Athlon 3200+ with Vista and another one is P4 dual core 6400 with XP (service pack 2). Both of them have 2GB memory.
I am running the same simple project on both computer, but only the one with Vista has the problem. The problem is very similar to the problem mentioned in the thread:

But it's much worse. It only happens only on JSF pages. Basically, any operations on the JSF pages are very slow. Loading the page, changing the attributes of a button in source editor, or even clicking the items in the design view take forever to run.
The first weird thing is that it may use 100% CPU, but it never recover, which means the 100% CPU usage never stops or when it stops, the Jdeveloper stops responding.
The second weird thing is that the project is not big. Actually, it's very small. The problem started to happen since last week. There are not big changes during the period. The only thing I can say is that we created two more JSF pages.
The third weird thing is that the same project never happened on the P4+XP box. When I open the project on the P4+XP box, it’s always fast and no CPU spike.
Any advises are welcome!

I re-made a simple test project for this problem and now I now always reproduce the problem in JDeveloper on both system (XP & Vista). Everytime I open this jspx file in the source editor and try to scroll up/down the source file, or manually delete an attribute, JDeveloepr will hang and the CPU usage is 0%.

Issue with embedding and usage of worklist TF in ADF app

In our application, we have embedded the worklist TF from "adflibTasklistTaskflow.jar" in our jspx page. Below is the page def binding for the TF

Issue
When we try to re-assign the claimed task in the worklist, it opens up a re-assign popup - "Identity browser".
Within Reassign Screen:
- Select "All" value on the dropdown
- Enter a last name on the text field. I.e. "Kristoffersson"
Or enter an email address.
- SOA error will appear as mentioned below
"Search failed with an error. Service error.. Refer to the log file that is configured for oracle.soa.services.identity for more details on this error and contact Oracle Support Services"
This issue is not seen for any other option in the drop down other than "All" (e.g. "users", "group", etc. it is displaying all corresponding search results of users from LDAP)

Hi,
I remember a similar issue with inner frames that should be fixed in JDeveloper 10.1.3.3. The problem was that the ADF Faces JavaScript did not get the correct document root.
