Change BAPI for Weekly Expense Report using PR04

I am looking for a way to change a Weekly Expense Report using a BAPI. I am able to create one , however , unable to change . Has anyone accomplished this before ?

BTW , As you say, you are going to create the Milsetsone what is your reference is it WBS element and project definition or network , How are you planning to bring the reference data from the legacy system [ As example the WBS element against which the Milestone s are craeted] into SAP . Becuase as far as i know milestones area attached with project definition and then further down to WBS element so you need to bring the Project definition + WBS element to change create the milsetone .

Could anyone please tell how to write a spec to create a BW report for Travel Expense report. or how can we know from which tables can the data be extracted for Personal number, name of the EE, Trip number, Trip duration, Trip begin date, Trip end date, trip destination, reason for the trip, total cost, reimbursement amount, paid by company, additional amount, total miles/Km, cost center, CoAr, Status of the trip

PR05 is the Tcode for Travel expense Manager where the data will be posted and The table is PTRV_HEAD where the data get stored .

Query for Weekly Sales Report

Dear Experts,
I have developed the query for weekly sales report for the alert management to send out the report on every Monday as follow :
SELECT T0.[CardCode], T0.[CardName], T0.[DocDate], T1.[ItemCode], T1.[Dscription], T1.[Quantity], T1.[LineTotal] FROM OINV T0 INNER JOIN INV1 T1 ON T0.DocEntry = T1.DocEntry INNER JOIN OITM T2 ON T1.ItemCode = T2.ItemCode WHERE T0.[DocDate] between GetDate()-8 and GetDate()-1
The weekly report received on every Monday through email is without column total for the "Line Total".
Can the Sum of column "Line Total" to be included in the query ?
Thus, the auto send report on every Monday by alert management will display the total.

then you must must try this if you are running query generator....
Else a good option is Crystal Report.
You need to only add Group Sum.......

Change evtloglvl for a single user using srvmgr?

We want to analyze some problems in our environment with one specific user.
We use Oracle Siebel 8.2.2.3.
We know commands for changing evtloglvl for components, but not for users.
Is there any possibility to change the evtloglvl based on a user that log's in?
We didn't find anything in the bookshelf.

Is there a BAPI for changing/updating documents that were created by FB60?

BAPI_INCOMINGINVOICE*, package MRM, object IncomingInvoice, are linked to transacton MIRO; not FB60 which is "pure" FI and not MM.
Look for FI BAPI via objects like AcctngInvoiceReceipt, package ACID, with BAPI BAPI_ACC_PYMNTBLK_UPDATE_POST or BAPI_ACC_INVOICE_REV_POST and BAPI_ACC_INVOICE_RECEIPT_POST.

Change runtime for a specific report

Hi All,
I was wondering if it's possible to change the runtime limit for a specific report in SAP. So for example if the general runtime limit is set to 20 mins, can I change this to 45 mins for one specific report?

Hi,
I dont think it is possible to change the runtime for a single report. By runtime, i mean runtime in foreground.
It is a BASIS setting and will be allied to ALL reports.
Contact your BASIS admin for further clarifications.

Changing font color in a report using SQL query for APEX 5.0

I am testing APEX 5.0 in my testing environment to see if I can migrate my internal apps from 4.2 to 5.0.
How can I change the font color in a field based in the SQL query? I know how to do it in 4.2 but I can't find the same in 5.0.

Well, I used to put the html tags in the select as text getting the color value depending a CASE , then I had to change the Display attribute for the column in the report as "Display as text (espace special characters...)".
I found an old post here: https://tylermuth.wordpress.com/2007/12/01/conditional-column-formatting-in-apex/ and this method still worked for me in APEX 5.0

Unable to change language for SAP BW Report Iview

Dear all
We are currently rolling out BW Web Templates can be displayed in both EN and MS languages. The language can be changed via the URL that we display, e.g.
For English Language:
http://<hostname>:<port>/sap/bw/BEx?SAP-LANGUAGE=EN&cmd=ldoc&template_id=ZTEST
For Malay Language :
http://<hostname>:<port>/sap/bw/BEx?SAP-LANGUAGE=7&cmd=ldoc&template_id=ZTEST
We have published these templates into Ent. Portal 6 using SAP BW Report Iview, but unfortunately we cannot view the report in the Malay language (SAP-LANGUAGE=7), even though we have inserted the command SAP-LANGUAGE=7 in the SAP BW Report Iview query string. All the reports, although defaulted to SAP-LANGUAGE=7 displays in English. We also tried to set the language settings for the Iview, but there are no language 7 or MS in the Iview. It can only be defaulted to the Portals language, which is English.
Note that the reports can be viewed in the different languages if we using the URL separately outside of Portal, and also within BW Bex Analyzer itself. Only the Portal doesnt allow us to view the reports in MS language.
Can someone help us on this matter? All helps really appreciated. Thanks a lot.

That's a bit odd indeed. If I understand your question correctly, you do get the BW reports in the correct language (either English or Malay) using the url's in your post but not when using them within a standard BW report iView?
The language setting for the iView has, unfortunately, nothing to do with the language for the content itself but can you tell me what the requested URL is for both Reports?
The BW Report iView is based on the Application Integration Component that generates the URL based on the paramaters you provide in the BW report iView.The following template is being used: <iView[PORTAl_URL]>?System=<System[url_Encode]>&Report=<Report>&DynamicParameter=<DynamicParameter[url_Encode]>. I could be that the generation of the URL fails due to the 7 (don't know why, just a gut feeling because it's the only thing that's different between those urls). You could try to use create an iView based on the Application Integrator instead (some more control over the URL template) but first you need to check whether the URL generated by the iView is correct.

Change datatype for field of report

I have a report that uses a Stored procedure for a datasource - it originally had to fields that were "number" as the field datatype and took an integer from the Sp.
I've since changed the datatype for that field from int to smallmoney. How can i refresh these links for the report without deleting the data source and loosing the report as it is now. The names stayed the same. Only the data type for two fields changed from int to smallmoney.

Change the schema of a report using oracle odbc at runtime

I'm using Crystl 11 r2 and coding in C#.
In our oracle database we have many schemas. When designing the report I can see many schemas (~14) when creating the new connection, but not the one for which I provided a username and password! I guess it woud have been the ~30th of the list. This wouldn't really mather if I was able to change the schema on which the report will be executed at runtime.
But with both the native oracle driver or using odbc I am not able to change the schema (even if I change the DatabaseName in the connection info. I've had a look at the CR_VS_CHANGE_DATABASE.ppt but it doesn't help me with Oracle... Funny, I can't put anything in the connectionInfo.DatabaseName and it doesn't seem to change anything...
Anybody ever succeeded to change all the connection info at runtime when the report runs on oracle?

You should be able to do that by so:
Go into the object navigator. Click on Paper Layout, and click on the Main Section label (not the plus sign). Hit F4 for properties - height and width are there. I think if you just changed those to what A4 is designated as, it should work.
Note if you use a header/footer page, you would need to do the same to those pages as well.
