Dear Apple, my account going to expired soon, but I want to change my developer/ publisher name. Although I have the option to create a new one, but the current one Apple still owed 100 USD (you need 150 USD for checkout right?)
Please advice

Applet publisher name

Hello,
I signed my applet using self cert, and i got "UNKNOWN" publisher name.
So i want to ask if i can change this publisher name using self cert. or i have to buy a certification to get access to this parameter?

I cannot see any effect by filling out the -dname like said in the linked article.
The only thing which is visible in the securty warning window is the "Name" and the "From" values. The "Publisher" value is still UNKNOWN.
When I try to compare the applet parameters or thinking about other reasons, how the values are filled out:
1. "Name" shows for sure the value of the applet parameter "name" (<applet name="..." ... </applet>)
2. "From" is maybe the web server adress where the hosted web application is running
but where does the value for "Publisher" comes from? Any ideas? Could you understand, what I mean or wha I'm asking for?

Trying to change developer name in app store

I have an app published on the app store but the customer wants their developer name to replace mine, they have sent me a distribution certificate and mobileprovision plus a p12, can i rebuild the files in my veiwer builder (won't let me at the moment) or do i have to completely start again with a new DPS single edition licence?

KT I have the same issue I need to change my seller name Im registered as a business my programmer used a generic name as the seller and now Im stuck with it. I logged into the devoloper account and I cant see a way to change it.Please let me know if there is a way around this

Multiple "publisher" names on one apple developer account?

Hi, I would like to purchase whatever apple account you need to submit apps to the app store. However, some will be games that I will be working on with some other people, and some will be utilities developed by myself. I want to be able to submit these apps under different publishers, is this is simple as changing the company name when I make the project in xcode? Sorry, I have yet to submit anything to the app store so I don't really know how this works

If the other people want their names on their apps in the store, they should have their own accounts.
The company name in Xcode for each project has nothing to do with the finished app in the store.

How do I change the first name associated with a developer account?

How do I change the name on my developer account. I now have my discussion ID tied in with developer account, and I would like to change the name associated with my developer account. There is a field to change my first name on the discussion board, but there seems to be no option to change the first or last name associated with a developer account.

I ran into the same problem and was glad to find this post.
I started to register as a iOS developer but my daughters name shows up in the personal info field and can not be changed. When I go to the "manage my ID" page it has my name and the correct info. How do I fix this for my Developer ID registration?

I've Changed my Site name from 2008 to 2009.
after Published, when i click on Visit it shown as www.xxxx.com/2008 ,suppose s'ld be www.xxx.com/2009...what's the matter here?
And, After publishing successful, all the Items/Pages in my iWeb s'ld shown as BLUE But in my case it Shown RED, mean not publish yet at all...

Try clearing your browser's cache and then visit your site again. If you're using Safari, click on the Safari menu and choose +Empty Cache...+

Change Publisher name in AppStore

Apple,
I submitted my Application in iTunes Connect and it got approved. In AppStore and iTunes my App is displaying as AppName and underneath Publisher name and category . I would like to remove Publisher name and display as Appname and in underneath Company name and category.
May I know how to remove the publisher name and add Company name to display below App name.

How to change the package name of Managed Bean class

Hi: Gurus, when ever I create a new JSP page the Creator creates a code behind file with a package name untitled. Is there any way to change this package name? Can't the Creator gives us an option before genereating manged bean page to choose a package name? And then create the Java source directory structure on the basis of the pakcage name?

In the Project Navigator (default location is middle right), go to Java Sources, and you can rename the package ("untitled") to something else by right-clicking it or by left-clicking (just like Windows Explorer).
I agree, though, that giving the developer an option during creation of the JSP page would be nice.

I need to deploy two instances of my ADF application on the same development enviroment. We are using Hudson to deploy. My question is how to change data source name and application context root before second deployment.

I don't believe there is an inbuilt facility to do this.
Previously how I've done this is when checking files out using Hudson jovs, before the build I then use an Ant extension called XmlTask (http://www.oopsconsultancy.com/software/xmltask/) to modify the required XML files.
Can I ask why you're doing this in the first place please? Multi-tenancy? 2 versions of the same app?

Changing the sender name of WF-BATCH

Hi,
I am new to workflow programming and looking for guidance on changing the sender name of the emails going (SENDMAIL activity) as WF-BATCH user.
I looked at the input from this group on similar question and understood that what I need to achieve can only be done via FM SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1.
I am unsure how to accomplish this if the email I am sending out needs to read the description captured in the task (whic is a dialog method) before this (TS01000140).
Can anyone give me inputs on how to achieve this?

Hi,
First of all, you might want to check class cl_bcs for sending emails. Basically your function will do the same but this class is a bit more functionality. Plenty of examples in SCN/Internet.
Whatever function/method you will choose to use, the idea is to develop a workflow method, and then call the email sending function/method from this method. Then you of course develop a task that will call your new method. Now, you will need certain parameters for the email sending function/method: subject, body text, recipient, etc. You need to either deliver these parameters for the method from your workflow container or build some additional logic to the workflow method. E.g. if your task TS01000140 gets the email text into the workflow container, then you need to bind it to your email sending task (and to the method) => you need to add this to your task container and then add it as a parameter to your method.
One additional hint: When building the custom logic, pay attention to email language. You want to deliver the emails in correct language, so the recipient language must be known before the email is sent...

How to change the Bluetooth name for my N70.
I can change it in my N70, but the first installed name still pops up on my computer. Can't find it anywhere so i can have the same name in my phone as on the computer. Is there some kind of registry that keeps the first name maybe??

I want to change a from_role name in notification message to approval in Internet Expenses workflow.
Requirements is like this: In Internet expense a supervisor create a expense report behalf of his subordinates. when he submit for the manager approval. in the notification of Manager approval it shows the subordinate name in the 'from' this is the standard.. but i need to display the name of creator that is supervisor name in the from.

I'm using C# and Crystal Report XI (Deverlop license) to develop windows application in VS.net 2003.
Please help me to change the field name of the bounded column of Crystal report file at the runtime.
(In some case client's database had changed the structure as fieldname, fieldtype. Then they request a utility to change the field names in the .rpt file programmatically )

It sounds as if you're trying to write one generic thing that needs to do two different tasks.
Just have two scripts and make life simple.

Changing the label name

I am trying to change the label name and the text in text view, when i do the changes in development system its changing, but when i transport the changes to testing system the changes does not reflect, i tried resetting the OTR buffer, still it doesn't work for me.

Yeah i do have a transport request, and the changes are captured by the request,
it does not show any error in import log,
but i solved it, i just deleted the label ui element and then created new, by doing this i got what i want,
but i really dont know why its not changing when i change just the name.
