Change Index ID

Hi,
I´ve got a programm that creates and saves many entries with the FREE_SELECTIONS_DIALOG function.
It loads them with IMPORT ... FROM indx(wy) ID 'keynumber'.
So I think with the keynumber it can identify the space where the data is saved.
But now I have to change this 'keynumber' because it will be generated automatically in the future and I want to change the old keynumbers into the same format.
Is it possible to change the ID from an indx?
Or can I copy such an indx space and define the new one with my new ID?
Thank you for your help!
Martin

I think you would have to import with the old number, then export to INDX again with the  new number.
Apologies...unintentional double post.
An additional note, why use INDX?  SAP recommends (in some places, at least) defining  and utilizing your own "INDX-like" table.  INDX can serve as an example of how to do.

    Hello,
Can I change index extent size online using the following command?
    ALTER INDEX INFERMERIA.IDX_NUMICUFH
    ALLOCATE EXTENT (SIZE 500M)
    STORAGE (PCTINCREASE 50);
Thanks in advance for your help.

If the index resides in LMT, then, you get the following error:
ORA-25150: ALTERING of extent parameters not permitted.

  • Changing index file name

I would like to create some "mini-sites" that all go on our domain (linked through our blog-site). I need to change the index file to a different name, but it is grayed out in the Page Properites panel. How do you change the index.html filename?

OK, duh, I figured out a work-around. Create a folder for the new site, and plop the html inside. Again, duh. :-)

I just found 1 tricky solution.
Declare a variable containing the asset URL in the HTML, before the <!--Adobe Edge Runtime--> part. (Sample below.)
In the script (_edge.js), use this variable instead of the asset URL string . (replace the string constant with the variable)
In the server script, generate the HTML by changing the variable definition.
    This is ugly...
    I would appreciate any help.
    Thanks.

  • Changing .index page

Can i change the .index page to another name and the slide show will still work?

Can i change the .index page to another name and the
    slide show will still work?
As Apnewbie mentions, you can change the names of your pages to anything you'd like while avoiding the use of certain "special" characters. Just make sure that you make the changes INSIDE iWeb and then republish your site. You can't simply change the file names in the published sitefolder. That will definitely break things.

  • Need grep expression to change index page numbers

I built an Index using Type&Tables>Index however there was a lot of additional work that had to be done manually after it was built, so I do not want to use the Replace command. Is there a grep expression I could use in Find Change to find the "tab + page number" and replace with "tab + page number adding 2" (i.e., so an item originally indexed to be on page 13 would then be indexed on page 15).

Take a look at this thread:
    https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1282483
Jongware's script should fit your needs without any modification, I guess..

  • Changing index.html

I want to call a web gallery from another page and not use the automatically generated Lightroom index.html as the homepage. There seem to be a number of index files generated by the template I used. index.html, index2.html, etc. How can I rename it to something like gallery.html and call it from another page? Thanks

Maybe I'm not clear. My homepage is index.html. If I go to mysite.com/photos/index.html I am told the file does not exist. But it does exist. When I open index up it's filled with Flash information.
There are no image files at that level however. All of the folders of images, thumbnails etc. are located deeper down. They are at: http://www.mysite.com/photos/bin/images/photos/index.html.When I open up this las index file it is the HTML one that I want to use.
I'm surprised that I cannot type out the address above and see something. So do I move all of the supporting files in the last index up a couple levels or do I delete the Flash index.html and the HTML version of the index.html and resent from Lightroom?
    Thanks for your support.

  • Problems building a spatial index - this must be a bug please help!

    Hi,
We have a rather large spatial data warehouse. The schema is a star schema and is partitioned. During a load recently we had an error with one particular dataset, when building the index we got:
    ERROR at line 1:
ORA-29855: error occured in the execution of ODCIINDEXCREATE routine
    ORA-06512: at "MDSYS.SDO_INDEX_METHOD_10I", line 10
We have seen this kind of thing before, but usually dropping the data and reloading works fine (or rebuild the index). I should not that this obviously occurs before the partition is exchanged in. We are running 10.2.0.2 on red hat ES3.
With this error we tried to reload the data, but get the same. We tried the data on another copy of the system, and the same. We have tried the data on a 10.2.0.3 and an 11.1.0.6 database and all fail at the same location. We have validated the geometries - all fine, I have tried changing the DIMINFO so that it spans the whole globe, it failes again (by the way we are on SRID 8307 and all data is point type). The data is approx 1.2M rows and I have tried subdividing it up into smaller tables and these all build fine. I have partitions with much higher row counts and these are fine. I have tried everything possible including changing index parameters e.g. parallel tablespace etc. I have tried it on a tablespace without ASSM and one with and both fail. I have an export of the data if anyone would be available to try it?
I would really appreciate any help at all on this one.
    Thanks
    Jonathan

  • Index Tablespace Issue

Need to change Index tablespace from existing tablespace to new one?
Do i need to rebuild the index to accomplish this?
(using- Alter index <index-name> rebuild tablespace <index-tablespace>;.)
Or is there any other option?

Yes thats the way to do it. Its more of a DBA related question so if you post it in the Database-General forum you will get quicker and better response as more DBA participate there.
    Here its more of developers.

  • There are problems with quadtree indexing in Oracle 8.1.7.4 for Linux

I have patched my 8.1.7 database on Linux to 8.1.7.4.
All my spatial data were indexed using quadtree indexing mechanizm.
After the patch is proceeded, I'v rebuilt all spatial indexes (because all they became invalid).
When I use window query type, the spatial query does not give right results!
There are no errors, but not all geometries following in the query rectangle are selected.
My spatial data does not use projection (the SRDIDs are 262148).
If there is layer with other srid - there are no transformation between projections query rectngle and layer geometries (the query rectangle is with SRID = null).
When I change indexing mechanizm to R-tree - there are no problems.
    What is the problem?

    I don't understand:
My spatial data does not use projection (the SRIDs are 262148).
What is 262148? It is an SRID that isn't in the 8.1.7.4 database.
If the SRID isn't an issue, you might want to make sure the coordinate
system bounds of the geometries match if your data is coming from two
different tables and they both have quadtree indexes built on them.
If the coordinate system bounds don't match, then you can see this kind of problem.
    Hope this helps,
    Dan

  • UCM 11.1.1.4 : indexation : Text conversion of the file failed

    Hello,
I'm facing an indexation issue with MS Office files, pdf, ...
    For instance :
Text conversion of the file '/opt/oracle/middlewarehome/ucm/cs/weblayout/groups/public/documents/document/mdaw/mdaw/~edisp/virtuoz2dev000342.doc' failed.
Content has been indexed with Info only. Resubmit should only be performed if the problem has been resolved.
This a new installation of UCM 11.1.1.4 with Oracle DB 10.2.0.5.2 and WLS 10.3.4, all on a SUSE10 server.
This issue is very similar to this one :
    Re: XML Not Indexing???
But in my case, xml and txt files have no problem.

    Hi Srinath,
Thanks for your reply. I checked the certification matrix and the certified version of DB with UCM 11g are :
    Oracle 10.2.0.4+
    Oracle 11.1.0.7+
    Oracle 11.2.0.1+
    It doesn't include 10.2.0.5 ??
I managed to trace the server output.
It seems there is a missing file : search.cfg
also, what is the meaning of the "mdaw" directories ?

  • Indexing problem in Oracle UCM

    Hi,
I am using Oracle UCM repository with Weblogic portal.
When i do re-indexing through UCM console error comes 'Unable to index metadata only. This may indicate the collection is damaged.Indexing is aborted'.
Can anybody please tell any solution for this.

    Hi
I believe that you might have changed your indexer from metadata to fulltext or OTS and then rebuilding the index is giving you problems. See Metalink Note :     Note.748186.1 for issue when one is changing indexer from Metadata to FullText .
In case you are moving to OTS then the only thing needed that needs to be changed in the Note is instead of using IdcColl2 put ots1/ots2 and then save it , restart the CS , rebuild the collection and see if the issue persists.
    Hope this helps
