Change Node Shape in Javascript Infovis Toolit/ Force Directed Graph

Hi All,
I am using Javascript Infovis toolkit(JIT) and want to change the shape of a node to some image.. How can I do that? The default shape is circle and it can be changed further to rectangle, square, ellipse etc but in my case, I need to change it into an image present at my local disc drive.
They say its possible to do so in the 'type' field but what all methods do we need to add or see the impact on...?? See the below link:

What setting did you use in the Options Bar: Shape Layers, Paths, Fill Pixels?

How to change the shape of a RedLine dragging it with the mouse

Change the shape of a shape

using the shape tool you can draw basic shapes
then using the subselection tool you can re-shape them by relocating certain points
What i want to do is create a tween whereby one of the points is moved
the problem is you have to convert to a symbol first and after you have done that you cant change the shapes shape.
so how do i go about using a motion tween to change the shape of a shape?

OK, try this...
Use the Ellipse tool from the Vector tools menu. Drag an Oval
shape over the
area you want your image to be. Set the Edge to Feather in
the Property
Inspector and choose a value of say 40 (change this to suit
your image)
Select your image and the Oval shape (hold down the shift key
to select
both).
Go to Modify > Mask > Group as Mask.
Does that achieve what you're after?

I am afraid you have come across the Live Rectangle bug which is limited to the MAC versions starting with 10.7 and 10.8, but not 10.9 (Mavericks) or 10.10 (Yosemite). Hopefully, the bug will be fixed soon.
So a switch to Mavericks or Yosemite with a reinstallation might be the way to solve it here and now.
To get round it in each case, it is possible to Expand the Live Rectangles to get normal old fashioned rectangles, or to Pathfinder>Unite, or to use the Scale Tool or the Free Transform Tool.
A more permanent way round that is to create normal old fashioned rectangles, after running the free script created by Pawel, see this thread with download link:

Long story short: Simply get CC for teams. At 500 bucks a year it's a steal and those 5 licenses in the base package (or was it 10 even?) cover all your computers, at least the 3 ones you mentioned. For system requirements refer to the individual product pages.

Hi Mr!
If you want to generate the e-file feature 40ACK, do it in our Customization client box (Golden box) & save the request & move to Quality & production.
Still if you need to workout only in Production, than with the help of Basis people you can get the Production change mode for 5 to 10 min time & can generate it. But mostly Basis people wont give us change mode for Production box ... with ur request they can do..try it.
Did u collected 4 quarter TAN no's for 2008 Quarter...if not collect it & generate it at a time.

No. You'd need an external editor for that kind of stuff:
In order of price here are some suggestions:
Seashore (free)
The Gimp (free)
Graphic Coverter ($45 approx)
Acorn ($50 approx)
Pixelmator ($50 approx)
Photoshop Elements ($75 approx)
There are many, many other options. Search on MacUpdate or the App Store.
You can set Photoshop (or any image editor) as an external editor in iPhoto. (Preferences -> General -> Edit Photo: Choose from the Drop Down Menu.) This way, when you double click a pic to edit in iPhoto it will open automatically in Photoshop or your Image Editor, and when you save it it's sent back to iPhoto automatically. This is the only way that edits made in another application will be displayed in iPhoto.
Of course, you may not want to change the shape of a photo which would distort it. You may want to print it in an oval shape but undistorted. I'd use a page layout app like Pages for that,

Fcpx 10.2 export changed the shape and position of my shape masks. Ideas?

Fcpx 10.2. Upon export it changed the shape and position of my shape masks. It also created "cordoroy" looking screens where some photos had been. Looking for help.

Thanks for the response. My project is 1280x720 29.97 fps. Here's a shot of the corduroy. The first time I exported using the "export" choice. I rebooted and exported again choosing "master" file. The settings were the same on both- 1280x720, 29.97, H.264. The corduroy went away the second time. The masks are still off. I'm using them throughout my project. They are closer to center on both of the quicktime movie outputs than on my screen in the project. I could send pics.

I downloaded the new 5, and that has caused my tools etc. along the top to disappear. I need to delete the persona, but it says to go to tools and change it, but there is NO tools anymore.

I need to remove persona to hopefully be able to get my edit, tools, printing, etc back across the top.
The info says to go to tools and make thge change, but there is no longer tools, so how can I do this?

Press F10 or tap the Alt key to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily.
Go to "View > Toolbars" or right-click the "Menu Bar" or press Alt+V T to select which toolbars to show or hide (click on an entry to toggle the state).

I am looking for a way to change 3D views using JavaScript. I want to obtain similar result as the predefine action (Go to a 3D view) but with code.
More preciselly, I want to connect items within a list box to different 3D views.
