Hi,
I had recently ordered a free case via the iphone free case program. But now I want to change to a different case. Does anyone know how I can go about changing my choice? I've heard who want to make a change and he cancelled the order online, but now he couldnt re-order a new case.

You should call Apple Sales support by phone but don't cancel your order. Just simply explain to them that you've changed your mind and get them to change the order to the case that you want. As long as you do this before you get a shipping confirmation by email then they should be able to do this for you.

I recently learned that some have had issues with their iPhone when used with a cases that includes magnets for closing. Sorry mwhitted for your woes.
While looking for a nice case for myself I became concerned of this, and decide to contact Sena about their Dockable iPhone case. This case seemed to be exactly what I was looking for, but after reading mWhitted and a few others problems I wasn't sure.
So I sent them a e-mail with the links and question their knowledge about their product.
This was late last night (about 1:39 am). How about 10:09 in the a.m. I get a response! A Long and thoroughly explained response (read Below).
Great customer service! I am going to give this company a try and see how well this works.
I have included my original e-mail to them and their response by Ronda so that you may judge for yourself.
PS. mWhitted, aparently the case you used may not have had the proper magnets and maybe not assembled appropriately for this phone which may have caused the problem. What do you think, maybe this may have been the cause?

Recieving mail has nothing to do with the SIM in the phone.
You cannot trace an iPhone with IMEI number. That could only be useful for identifying a found phone as yours.

Unable to create change order for Operational attributes

Currently we are in 11.5.10 E9 patchset.
Product : Advanced Product Catalog
Unable to find create change order button for any of the operational attributes page.
Steps to reproduce :
1.Switch to 'Development Manager' resp
2.Navigate to 'Item Catalog' > 'Item simple search'
3. Enter criteria to find an engineering item
4. Navigate to the item details page.
5. Select 'Inventory' or 'Manufacturing' or any other page.
Could not find the create change order button.
The profile option 'ENG: Engineering Item Change Order Access' is enabled to YES.
Also, these operational attribute pages are not listed in Change order screen.
Any pointers on this issue pls.

Objects Changing Order for no Reason?

Hello, all...
I am using Captivate 2 to create software simulations and a
typical slide has many click boxes on it -- some that are "correct"
and will advance the simulation, some that are "incorrect" and will
provide specific remediation, and one that is full-screen to
provide remediation to a user who clicks anywhere else on the
slide. It is important that the correct click boxes stay in front
in the order and that the full-screen ones stay in back. I
typically use Bring to Front and Send to Back to put them in this
order.
The problem is that after I arrange things properly, save,
publish, close, and reopen the file, some of the click boxes will
have changed order. I have been able to find no rhyme or reason for
this, and naturally it causes a lot of work every time I need to
republish a file.
Has anyone else experienced this?

I'm in the same boat as Larry. I've never seen this problem
occur on my own PC. This isn't to say it isn't happening to you,
only to say I've not encountered it either.
The purpose of my post here is to ask a question. And my
question is:
Why on earth are you using multiple "full screen" click
boxes? I might understand a single "full screen" click box that
would be used to catch something outside the areas of other smaller
click boxes that would be placed in front of the full screen one.
But for the life of me, I can't fathom why you would desire more
than a single click box that would cover the slide. The end result
is whichever click box was behind would never be dealt with.

How do I cancel my order for iphone 4s when I didn´t order it with apple-id?

I placed an order for an iphone 4s that has been "dispatched" for a time now. I would like to cancel my order, and buy it elsewhere. The problem is that I didn´t use my apple-id when I ordered it, so now it seems like I can´t cancel my order. Anyone who knows how I can cancel my order?

I am pretty sure you cannot cancel an order after it's been despatched. It's now in the hands of the companies delivering it.
However, you should be able to return it within the first 14 days. Don't disturb the packaging just to have a look!

So, instructions on how to change MEID for iPhone?

Verizon reps have all been saying this when asked about how to activate the iPhone to another line.
"At this time the Buddy Upgrade will not be allowed. At launch, the iconic portal, which is processing all of the orders, will not support buddy upgrades. This functionality will come at a later date, and it will be communicated when it becomes available. At launch, however, customers will have to process the upgrade on the eligible line on the account and manually change the MEID (Mobile Equipment Identifier) over to the MDN (Mobile Directory Number) on which they want the device. Detailed step-by-step instructions, available in both POD (Print On-Demand) and EOD (Email On-Demand) will be available closer to launch."
Since many of us will be getting the phones on Monday, how about releasing those instructions?

I got this off of another forum last night. If it is really supposed to work, it's a nicely detailed step-by-step.
I have been told by both an employee on the phone, and the guy that was at the store when I went to purchase a case that the following steps need to be taken.
1) Activate iPhone through iTunes on line that is upgrade eligible
2) Use the MEID (in phone info, or on box) on the old phone, and re-activate it online and doing so will disable the iPhone.
3) Call *228 and press 1 to complete reactivation
4) Now activate the iPhone online using the MEID (which is apparently on the box as well as in the about phone menu)
5) Call *228 on the iPhone and again press 1 to complete process
This is supposed to work, and you should not have to go into the store to complete this task.
Also, I was told that this should not cost anything to do

Changing computers for iPhone & iPad

Hey everybody - I need some help with computer swapping!! I will be moving out of my house soon and the computer that my iPhone is synced to is a family desktop that I can't take with me. My brothers phones are also synced to this computer. I just got an iPad and decided to set it up through my laptop. Is there any easy way to sync my phone to my laptop so I don't lose any information? Or do I need to set it up as a new phone and totally re-download all my apps? I also have an iPod that I sync with the family desktop that needs to be synced with the laptop. Any help anyone could give me would be great! Thanks!

If you have a icloud scinc that before you do ANYTHING!!! I learned that the hard way, the you need to download iunes one your new computure and then sign in and plug in your Ipod. It will sinc automattical so you wil not have to do much. If this does not work one of two things will happen. 1) nothng will sinc or be changed 2) everything will delete. If the first happenes then get a profestional Apple tech to contact you through phone and they will walk you though the steps for free here https://expresslane.apple.com/GetproductgroupList.action. If the sencond happens Follow these steps Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset All Settings-> Continue. This will reset it to when you first got the Ipod. When you continue with your starting prosses it will ask you for you iCloud information, this is what will get you all your apps, songs, videos, ext. back onto your itouch. After get help by the Apple tech. Hope this helps!!

In one of my projects, I want to customize the template provided by the SAP in test case description.
We can add test case description while creating Manual Test Case (Tx: STWB_TC), Test Script and Test Configuration (Tx: SECATT)
I want ot update the default template with the custom template.
We had tried to update the same in SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN --> select Project --> Project Standard --> Project Templates --> Documantation Types, selected TD1, Test Case Description of Complete Directory of Document Types and using Document Template --> Change and Import we tried to update the template. In the document type, it has been changed but it is not reflecting in the other transactions.
Please help me in this regard to update the test case description.

Change carrier for iPhone 4?

I lived in Canada,I have 2 iPhone 4.
1 locked to Rogers 16GB
And 2nd one locked to Bell network with 32GB.
The question is can i ask Apple to lock the 2nd one to Rogers?
Because i want to use the 32GB and sell 16GB.

You would have to ask Bell if they will unlock for you. Apple does not unlock phones. The carrier does.
