Change page name and title

Hello,
I am using oracle apex 4.1. I created two pages with a tab set. I am able to change the page name/title through edit page properties. But it is not reflecting when I run the application/page. If I delete the page and create a new page with new page name, i am able to see it.
can anybody suggest me how to change the page name/title?

How to make page name and title change with AJAX driven site?

I am building a travel site. I am a fairly basic but longtime
DW user. I built the site in DW. I made a template and all pages
are then based off the template. I hired a programmer to do the
complicated hotel searching code. He says that he used AJAX and I
know also php (all the pages are whatever.php)
What I don't like and he says can not be changed, which there
must be a workaround for, is that, for example, a user will be on
the spahotels.php page. Or perhaps they are on the whatshot.php
page reading the latest article about jungle treehouse eco lodges.
So far so good, the name of the page is "spahotels.php" or
"whatshot.php".
But, on each (and all) of the site pages we also have a hotel
search on the top left nav. So from any page, the user can do a
hotel search. The problem I have is that...once they do this....the
results they are given in the main window of the page, are totally
unrelated to spahotels or whatshot about jungle lodges...so if they
have now searched for tokyo business hotels, it looks ridiculous
and confusing that the page name says "spahotels.php" and the page
title says Find Great Spa Hotels.
My programmer says AJAX was the best way to do the hotel
search functionality (which I dont know anything about so if he
says so maybe so but I don't know) but he also says there is no way
to make the page name or title change to reflect what the user has
done on the left search function. Makes sense..they are clearly
unrelated.
However...this is a terrible user experience in my opinion.
So...one idea he had was to find a javascript code that changes the
page title/name.
Does anyone have some ideas of how to solve this issue?

Try doing a seach for something on the left nav hotel
search...and see what I mean...the name of the page stays
spahotels.php and the title stays Spa Hotels. I get it...I
think...why it does...but it looks stupid if you are looking for
something else in your search (which of course the user will be).
Any ideas??? Thank you so much in advance!!

their is no out of box way to avoid this but you can change this in the Designer.

Hello,
If you use the property "Independant Label" of the tab, you can change the TabCaption.
You cannot use blank names.

How to change host name and domain name in installed Cisco Meeting Place Express 2.0?

I have Cisco Meeting Place Express 2.0 installed on server. Meting Place uses Linux (Red Hat) as base operation system. Please tell me how I can change host name and domain name for Meeting Place Express application to integrate it into corporate domain infrastructure.

Thanks for your attention for my humble problem.
I have performed Meeting Place Express configuration through the “net” command.
But now unfortunately I can't connect to meeting place through web browser. I just get blank page.
Though I can reach the server with help of ssh. I think my DNS works properly because I can resolve the ip address of cumpxvoice .uclab.com and cumpxweb. uclab.com with help of dig command.
Have you any idea?

I have changed the name and password for my Time Capsule and now the Time Machine will not connect

1TB Time Capsule.
Yesterday I changed the name and password on my time capsule and also the name and password of the wifi network as I was having problems with the speed of the internet when using Safari on any of my devices (1 Macbook pro, 1 macbook air, 27" iMac, iPhone and iPad) all other internet services were working fine (email etc.) This seems to have solved the problem.
However, since then, my time machine back ups will not reconnect and there is no option for me to reconnect to the existing back up for my macbook pro.
When I enter the time machine preferences it shows as below that there are no back ups.
Then, when I go to select a drive to use which should be the MacBook under the Backup disks the only option is for me to Remove Disk...
So, my question is, how do I reconnect to an existing Time Machine back up for my MacBook pro as I really do not want to erase and start all over again.
Warning - In my naiveté, I did click on the MacBook in 'Available Disks' but I got the impression that it was about to start a whole new back up and not work with the existing one.
(And does anybody have an inkling as to why there was a problem with Safari on all my devices? I downloaded Google Chrome and that worked fine).

You can then mount the TC disk in finder after you reboot the computer.
You should be able to reselect the TC disk and then it will say it is going to start a new backup.
Ignore this.. when the TM actually loads the TC disk it will discover the existing backup and continue the backup.. but it will give no hint until it actually starts that it won't start a new backup. you just have to believe it won't.. and mostly it works..
Please also install the widget A1 so you have some idea what TM is doing.

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, and your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). How to prevent middle names and titles from appearing in contacts

My iPhone is syncrhonised with MS Outlook, and I've used Outlook as my system of record for contacts for many years. I have hundreds of contacts in Outlook, many of which contain middle names and titles.
The problem is that the iPhone displays every contact as Title FirstName MiddleName Surname Suffix. For many of my contacts, particularly when viewed in the Favourites list, I can't even see the contact's surname because the contact's title, first name and middle name(s) take up so much of the row.
How can I stop my iPhone from displaying titles and middle names? Is there a setting somewhere in iTunes that will prevent these fields from being transferred to the iPhone?

I am also experiencing this problem, but I think it started with one of the later iOS 3.x releases or possible iOS4. All of my contacts display their job title (eg. "Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales & Operations") which given the screen real estate means that NONE of the actual Contact name is visible.
This is only happening on my iPhone 3GS (iOS 4.0.2) and does NOT happen on my Mac, my me.com, nor on my iPad (iOS 3.2.2). Which, again leads me to believe this problem was introduced in iOS4.

Anything Downloaded with a Particular Apple ID is tied to that Apple ID and Cannot be Merged or Transferred to a Different Apple ID.

Try Calibre for Mac, available on macupdate.com. It's clunky to have to use 3rd party software, but until Apple fixes the abomination that is iBooks, that's what we'll have to do.

and it is working great. However, after 2 years of faithful service
I was asked to change DB name and SID. In non-RAC environment, that is
easy. Rename a few files, change init.ora and re-create control file.
I've done that many times. With 10g RAC, however, situation is different. There is also RAC registry which has the database under the certain name and, I believe, it also has SID registered. Can you, please, point me to a document describing how to do that? It's a production DB and I can't test it anywhere.

Changing the name and path of Targets, Exec, Products, etc

I want to change the name and path of the Products, Targets, and Executables, but the text box in the 'info' window won't let me edit, and the choose buttom is grayed out.
Any ideas?

I just did this yesterday... and it's fairly confusing trying to figure out what all to change.
You can change the name of your target and executable by selecting them in the "Groups & Files" list and then selecting "File -> Rename" from the menubar.
It appears as if you can also select your Product and rename it in this way too... but (in my case) doing that didn't seem to actually rename the final app that's produced.
In order to rename the actual final application I believe you must select your target click the "Info" button... in the Info window select the "Build" tab. Scroll down until you find the "Product" entry. Double-click that and change it's name. Note that you may need to change the product name for each of your build configurations (ie Debug & Release).

The person who used to work for the company and install the programs on our computers is no longer around. I'm not really sure but I think yes. Blocking a contact will only prevent them from contacting you or sending you contact request. The visibility of your account information depends on how you set it, if you had them visible to public or to your contacts only.
