Change plan from shared everything to single line plan.

I have a question about changing plan.
CurrentlyI have shared everything plan and I suspended my account because of military deployment.
Can I change my plan to sing line plan even if I am still on 2 year contract and suspended?
If so, is there any other method to change my plan besides visiting VZ store or calling?
$60 is a lot cheaper than $90 on shared everything plan with 1gb data.
Thank you

    Hi Min.S.Kim,
Thanks for the info! We do appreciate your service in the military! When you suspend your line it will stay this way for 90 days then reactivate automatically. When you are on military suspension, you do not have to worry about this happening. We would be happy to fix this for you. Please follow me (bobbys_vzw) and then send me a direct message.  I would like to gather some info from you.
Thanks, BobbyS_VZW

  • Sharepoint 2013, Document Library: Sharepoint is changing data in a single line of text column to ISO8601 after modifying other columns

    Hello there,
basically, as the title says: We have a Document Library on a Sharepoint 2013. Attached to every document are multiple columns, the type for every column is 'Single line of text'.
One column is called 'billing date' and has suitable data in it, e.g. 01.01.2015, 26.02.2015, 29.03.2015 an so on.
Sometimes when someone is editing an other column of the same document the data in 'billing date' changes from 01.01.2015 to 2015-01-01T00:00:00Z for that document, seemingly randomly.
Is there any way to configure or prevent this?
Thanks in advance and kind regards,
    Michael

    Hi,
From your description, my understanding is that SharePoint changes the format of date in single line.
It is very strange issue. I try to reproduce your issue in my environment, but everything is OK.
To solve your issue, I need to collect some information, please confirm these points below:
When will the format of date change? Does it change immediately when you edit the document or after clicking save button?
Does the issue occur in this document library or each one in your environment?
Do you have some special configurations for this document library?
In addition, could you provide a screenshot as below?
    Best Regards,
    Vincent Han

  • Dropping from traditional shared to single line without going to everything shared?

Currently I am on a plan with two lines under the traditional family plans, not the ludicrous everything shared plans.  My question is where is the pricing for the old single lines or is it possible to cancel down to one line without getting roped into the new minimum $90 for a smart phone plans?  The only reason I need to know is I can't convince the wife to kick Verizon's over priced A' to the curb for the newer more reasonable priced SIM only GSM prepaid service offerings that have come available in the last 5-6 months like I plan to move too.
If I recall correctly there were price points of 34.99 -39.99 450 minute single line voice plan, $10 for 1000 text, and $30 for 2GB of data.  Which at 74.99 to 79.99 might not seem like a bargain, its certainly better than $90 for 1GB of and unlimited voice and text that the line is never going to need. I had some hope for the Everything Shared Plans, but even with the same discount level they are embarrassingly overpriced for what Verizon is offering even with a corp discount.
I'm planning on dropping my fake Verizon Nexus, an insult to the brand really, for the genuine article GSM unlocked Galaxy Nexus straight from Google.  The reception sucks in my house on my Nexus, while my wife's Razr 16GB does decently.  Supposedly the GSM model does better with the new radios in the 4.0.4 update, I haven't seen any improvement on my Verizon model.  But even if the reception is the same, at least I'm not paying a premium price for LTE I can only use away for my house and a "flagship" Google experience device that might get Jelly Bean by end of the year if the Xoom debacle is any indication of Verizon's ability to manage a minor OS upgrade.

    Found my own answer here:https://community.verizonwireless.com/message/835055#835055\
You get kicked to the everything shared plans, not just for new customers anymore.  Also the fact that you go from a family share plan to a single line requires a "everything shared" plan is absolutely hilarious in a tragic comedy kind of way.

  • How do I switch from a basic phone to a smart phone on the single line plan?

I currently have a basic phone on a basic phone plan. My contract expired ages ago, so I'm just month to month at the moment. I want to upgrade my phone to an iPhone 5c, and my plan to the single line plan--unlimited talk and text, 1GB of data. However, when I try to place this order online, it defaults automatically to the More Everything plans, which would end up costing me about $20 more than the single line plan for the same amount of data. I can't seem to change it to the single line plan. How on earth do I make the switch? O.o

Go into a Verizon Wireless Corporate Store and do it there.

  • Single Line Plan vs More Everything Plan

I have gone to several different Verizon stores now and cannot get an answer for my questions. When I asked about the single line plan I get different answers. One store told me that the single line plan is $60/month for 2GB of data for 24 months. This same store told me that I would also receive 1 free GB of data for 24 months on the single line plan. The other store told me that they never heard of this $60 plan and told me that the single line plan would be $110/month.
So my question is which is it? Is it $60/month for 2GB of data plus 1 free GB of data for 24 months or not?

@LucasV Was it me? Was I the one who previously mentioned it was a device feature? I bet it was me.
So, yeah, I agree 100% with everything you're saying above, except for the part that isn't true, which is the sad part that says I don't need anything from Verizon to use mobile hotspot. They, for some reason, have control over that particular device feature, as, (I suppose) they believe that they, as the data service provider, are providing me with some sort value-added service when I use mobile hotspot, even though it's just my phone passing data to my computer over a completely separate connection — and I've already paid Verizon for the data itself. Anyway, they've assessed the value of that particular service at about $20-30 a month, every month. Otherwise, I can't unlock mobile hotspot on my phone. Hence, my frustration.

  • Using a phone from a Family Plan to a Single Line Plan

I am currently on a Family Plan and looking to switch to my own Single Line Plan. I would like to use my iPhone 6 and the same number on the new plan. Is this possible?

You'd need to do an Assumption of Liability.  From this link:
My Verizon FAQs | Verizon Wireless
note # 2 under Assumption of Liability.

  • Can I change the amount of minutes on a single line plan?

I currently have unlimited minutes on a single line plan, but I hardly use my phone to make calls. I'm trying to lower my bill by reducing the number of minutes I have but I don't see an option to change my minutes in my account. It just gives me an option to change the amount of data I have.

I'm not sure if that's 100% accurate. I still have an old Nationwide min plan and when I log on to My Verizon I can still upgrade or downgrade my mins plan with one of the old Nationwide plans. Unless I'm misunderstanding the topic...

  • Unable to release planned order for single line from MRP workbench

    Hi
We are unable to release planned order for single line from MRP Planner workbench, but Select All For Release is working for all the lines for the item
User want to release a specific line but no new requisition is generated
It is highly appreciable if anyone could help to resolve this issue
    Appreciate the Help

It sounds like the release goes through in the workbench but the requisition does not show up in source - is this correct? If so I would check item attributes / flags for purchasing and buy. also have found some items require a purchase price to be populated in master and org

  • New $45 Single Line Plan

    Hello
Perhaps this is just me but the new $45 single line plan seems like a good deal, relatively speaking, when you compare it to the other major providers and realize the consistency of the Verizon Wireless network.  However, this plan is for new customers only and is a single line plan with 250 MB of data.  However, when you look at it in a different light it is also a slap in the face to existing customers on the share everything plan.  I will use my account as an example.
We are a very light data use family and our four iPhone Family exists on 1GB of data (no data overages).  So we pay $160 for all phones + $50 for the 1GB of data.  After my employer discount our final pre-tax/surcharge bill is $201.50.  That being said if each phone was on this $45 single line plane we would have a pre-tax/surcharge cost of $180 ($21.50 less than current share everything price), and we'd still have basically the same total amount of data, though each phone would be limited to 250MB of data rather than share a pool of 1GB, but since none of our phone have exceed 250MB we'd be likely not run into overage issues.
Sounds great so I should switch all of our phones over to this $45 single line plan, right? Well the plan is for new customers only, so not an option.  But the bigger point is this.  Verizon just in effect dropped the price of 1GB of data to $20. So, for a similar low use data family such as mine, they will pay $180 for the same unlimited calling, unlimited texts, and 1GB of total data, but my family who has been with Verizon for several years have to pay $201.50 for is basically the same plan except that we can share our 1GB data allowance among our four phones.  At that rate a family with 8 smartphones that use up to 250MB each would still be saving money by placing each phone on the single line plan.  I thought family/share plans were supposed to save groups money because it ties more individuals to Verizon.
I know that most are not like my family and make use of more data than us.  So for example, a family of two, currently on share everything 2GB allowance will have a pre-tax/surcharge cost of $140, but if each line was on the new $60 single line plan that comes with 1GB of data they would have a bill of $120 and they'd pay $20 less than the share everything plan they are on now. However, again this new $60 single line plan is for new customers only, according to the sales person I spoke to the other day.
I am not complaining about the service I receive when using my phone its great and I get service almost everywhere I go, even when camping.  I am not complaining about the customer service I receive, because I always have a good experience when I call to speak to a customer service agent.  I am not complaining about the subsidized phones I have had over the years, I don't mind the contract that ensures Verizon will recoup the cost of my phone (the phone Verizon paid apple for up front on my behalf). What I am complaining about is the fact that in response to other recent price changes by the other carriers, Verizon made some slight price changes but made these lower prices only available to new customers.  In essence Verizon is basically saying, Hey existing customers you have to pay more for your data and services but new customers get to pay less so that we can lure them away from T-mobile, sprint and AT&T.  So anyway just my 2 cents (or in this case several dollars) worth as it relates to Verizon's new single line plans relative to the share everything  plans. Please feel free to comment and add your thoughts.  If a Verizon rep wants to give me the additional $30 off on my family's 1GB data allowance I will take it and be very happy.
    Bryan

I disagree. You can't make judgements about people that you don't know and I have every right to DEMAND excellent Customer Service. . I have been assisted by some very helpful Verizon Customer Service representatives over the 12 years that I have given them my business. However, I have had some very bad ones too especially in their stores. I learned years ago that I could get the best CS by phone and later by using their chat system wen it
came online. Yesterday's experience was horrible in every way though.
I did not fully elaborate yesterday so let me do so now. Before I called Verizon CS, I used their chat system as I always do. The person I chatted
with actually tried to get me to take a $60 per month plan with a ONE YEAR COMMITMENT.  I could not believe what I was hearing (reading actually). I
mean really, I could have taken their prepaid plan with NO COMMITMENT and that would have made more sense. I repeatedly asked for the $45 per month plant but was told it would not suit my needs. Then, I was forced to call Verizon where I was told by another CS person that then plan I wanted did
not exist.  I still can't get over a CUSTOMER RETENTION SPECIALIST not knowing the services that its company offers. That is inexcusable.
Actually, her manager should be fired for not making sure his/her employees are knowledgeable. Anyway, she tried to shove different plans down my
throat until she finally realized that I knew what I was talking about. Perhaps that is the plan along, you call to get a lower rate and they tell
you it doesn't exist. Then, they offer you all these other plans that might save you a little but give you so much more. Hmm, I may be onto something
there, sounds like Bait and Switch to me. How about you?
This latest adventure has left a bad taste in my mouth. Sure, I have a $45 (before taxes and fees) per month plan now BUT I could have had that long
ago if I switched to another carrier. True, my service might not be as good as with Verizon but my Verizon service isn't that great in my house anyway.
Many of the other carriers don't charge taxes and fees either so their $45 per month plan truly is $45 per month. I will wait anxiously too see what
my final monthly cost will be. Funny, my Customer Retention expert could not tell me what the monthly rate was with taxes and fees included. How can
    you not know that?
As a developer who also codes for iOS and Android, I have several different ones laying around for testing. This weekend, I am going to activate one on
T-Moblie and one on Straight Talk and see how the service compares to Verizon. If neither is comparable, I will look at AT&T. I have their
U-Verse service and love the CS I get from them. I may even get a discount for bundling. Either way I am ending my long relationship with Verizon as
soon as I find a replacement.
I apologize for turning this thread into a rant but at the very least I feel purged by getting it out there.

  • Why am I prompted to change to a More Everything Plan when I try to upgrade my iPhone?

Today, I tried to upgrade my iPhone 5 to an iPhone 6 Plus at the Verizon Wireless Website.  The upgrade was approved but when it came time to select a plan, I was forced to select an ADDITIONAL more everything plan which is more expensive that my current $60 per/mo Single Line Loyalty Plan. I stopped the order process and called Verizon support and was told that I could keep my current Sing Line Loyalty Plan at the current cost but that I had to accept more everything (at $30 more per month for the same 2GB/Unlimited Calling/Unlimited Text).  I was told that I could switch back after I received my new phone, but I am not comfortable committing to a more expensive plan with only a verbal assurance from a customer rep.  I told the rep, who was very polite, BTW, as they usually are, that I had concerns.  Has anyone else had the experience of upgrading to an iPhone 6/6Plus online and being forced to accept a more everything plan? Could this issue be resolved by going to a Verizon Store? (I contacted Apple and they sent me to Verizon.)

        NJ_Analyst,
I'm happy to put your concerns at rest! The website is set to only allow current plans that are advertised. Any Loyalty plans are exclusive to particular customer and not available to everyone - therefore, they are not advertised. You can absolutely place that same order with our Sales Professionals at 1-888-924-1792 or in a Direct Store location http://bit.ly/3SdsA  to keep your same plan. It just can't be done via self-serve options.

  • Discriminating against single line loyalty plan

I think it's totally unacceptable that I'm not allowed to use my smart reward points to add data to my plan for 5,000 points.   I'm getting real tired of being punished because I'm in a Verizon loyalty plan for being a loyal Verizon customer.   I feel I'm being pushed to the side because I'm single person and don't have another line on my plan.   Everyone I know that has more lines got a data increase at no charge and I get nothing.  This is discrimination to a single line loyalty plan customer like myself.

So you want to save money from the More Everything plan by having the Single Line plan but have all the benefits received with the More Everything plan? It's basically a case of choose what benefits you want the most and go with the plan that fits that. There's rarely a way in life to have everything you want.

  • Can I get single line plan after just upgrading?

I just upgraded to a smartphone plan with a renewed 2 yr contract from a basic plan, but now I see the Single Line Plan for smartphones.  Is it possible to change plans since I renewed my contract?

hellgirl We're glad to hear that you just upgraded to a new device. It is possible to change your plan after extending your contract. First, we need a few more details. What price plan do you have now? Are you on a family share plan?

  • Changed plan but has 3rd line

I ordered a Galaxy s4 through wireless market plus. At first I ordered it as a third line to my current plan. Within the 14 day grace period I contacted Wireless market plus to change my order from a third line to a family share plan consisting of 2 phones and 4gb of shared data. This change was made. However the 3rd line did not go away. My receipt shows Family Share plan, 2 phones, 4GB of data. My account shows the family share plan plus a 3rd line. Why was the third line kept?

        Hi CaptainPlanet,
Congrats on your S4! That is an awesome phone. I will be happy to assist you with your plan.  Please send me a private message with your number. I need to look into your account and see what is going on? I look forward to your reply.

  • My contract has ended. Can I preorder an iPhone 6 and switch over to the $60/2GB per month single line plan?

When attempting to upgrade my phone on the website, there is no option to select the single line plan during checkout. Can I purchase the iPhone on the website and then call customer service to switch over to the single line plan? This plan is shown here: Single Line Cell Phone Plan from Verizon - Verizon Wireless

        lily74,
That's great that you are getting this new phone! I'm sure you are excited! We are happy to make any necessary changes to your plan once you have received your phone! We definitely want to be on the best plan for your particular usage, so if you did not have the option to select your preferred plan, we are happy to assist you in getting on the one of your preference!
