Change Request/Task Attributes

Hello!
Is there any way to add attribute to Request automaticaly when the Request is realised?
I want to check objects and add attribute "Role" for the request which contains roles.

Hi Timofey,
Do you want to add role objects to a transport which is already released ??
  Its not possible to add objects to transports which are released.
If you want to check the roles before adding role to the transport. You can check that in table e070 and e071.
You can also write a custom Zreport to do this activity. Where it would automatically check this before adding it to a modifiable transport request.
Let me know if it answers your question.
Thanks

  • How to release the Change request (Task in Repair Mode)

    Hello everybody,
    I have change request in that one Task in Repair mode.
    when i trying to release, it give the error message like
    Repair HRDK900911 may only contain repaired objects
    Diagnosis
    In repairs, you can only lock and edit those objects whose original exists in another SAP System.
    The object R3TR PROG /VWK/GPS_VCD_R was found in the object list of your repair HRDK900911. This object is not a copy but the original.
    So please suggest me
    How to release the Task (Repair) so I can release  the request.
    Thanks

    Yes you wont be able to release the request till you remove the flag from SE03.
    Goto SE03 > Display Repaired Objects
    Select Your object and remove the repair flag from top <Repair Flag>
    R3TR PROG <Your Object>
    Also as you are getting an error
    No valid change license available for namespace
    In SE03-->Display/change Namespace
    when I check the specified Namespace then their is no Repair License.
    So please suggest me Repair License is required?
    check what namespace it is refrerring to ... A namespace name should be there....
    1. Go to SE06 and click on the System Change Option.
    2. Verify that Namespace Systems Development  /Namespace/  is "Modifiable".
    or
    1. Run transaction SM30
    2. Enter V_TRNSPACE
    2. Click Maintain
    3. Double Click on Namespace /NAMESPACE/
    4. Change Namespace role from P to C, then hit Save
    All the best !

  • Change Request & Task Issue

    Hi Experts,
       Please help me out for following concern.
       Changes done(In Z program) for some testing purpose, are saved in test CR.
       Now i want to save changes doin again in New CR,  for further transport.But whenever i am goin to change it ,its taking either the same test CR or creating new Task in same CR. But not askin for new CR.
      Some1 concerned that i have to release that CR ,then only i can do that,but i cant do it ,as it is test CR.
      Please suggest solution.
    Thanks in advance.
    Thanks and Regards

    A Change request that is not released consists of an abject list that has details of the objects (programs, etc) that are to be transported in the request.  While it is not released, it does not contain any of the details of the objects, just their object keys.  These details are in individual tasks by user id.
    When you release the change request, the system takes a copy of the current version of all the objects and writes it to two files in the transport directory of the SAP server - one control file and one data file.  These files are named based on the request number.
    <b>If you make further changes to a program before releasing the request, those changes will be included in that request when it is released.</b>
    If you have made changes to a program that have been put into a change request that is not to be transported you need to manually move the relevant object list entries to the new transport request.  You cannot simply delete them from the first request and then save changes to the program again as the object list entries may not be the same.  Releasing the change request is not a solution as this may have the same result - the entries added to the new request may be incomplete.
    For example, if you create a program it is added to a request as R3TR PROG containing program, texts, gui etc, but if you later change it and save it is added to request as LIMU REPS for program or LIMU REPT for texts or LIMU CUAD for gui.
    To move manually, copy/paste values from SU10 object list of the task to a new request/task.  Once 100% sure it is OK in new request, delete line from old task then lock object in new request (select line and use padlock icon).  For customising there may be object keys associated with the line that you also need to copy.  Take care to ensure all relevant objects are in the new transport.

  • Team Collaboration: Change the Task attributes are not synchronized...

    Hello!
    I am sorry for my poor English.
    When you modify in the Team Collaboration the following Task attributes:
    Percentage of completion and Status of implementation,
    the changes are not synchronized with others tools (OBEO, Zimbra, Mozilla Sunbird).
    Change of Status of implementation of synchronized only in Mozilla Sunbird.
    Can anyone give an explanation or solution for this?
    P.S.
    The problem I found recently in 2.0.1.5. (I think that in earlier versions was the same)
    Patch set 2.0.1.6 does not eliminate this defect.

    The answer to my question is,
    I am stupid. I don't pay attention to the details.
    For clarification I did the following...
    class superclass{
      private Integer PIN = new Integer(100);
      // this is the part in my code that I forgot.
      protected Integer getSecretPin(){
        return PIN;
    class sub{
      sub me;
      public sub(){
        me = this;
      // Sneaky stuff
      public Integer getPIN(){
        return
          ((superclass)me).getSecretPin();
    }I was tracking down a bug and was writing some output debugging and THOUGHT that I had stumbled on a security thing. On further inspection into the superclass code I had really accessed a protected method. My compiler ignored the casting.
    Thanks to all for "Looking into it."
    Peace

  • Change Request Management  "There is no task list for this project"

    Hello!
    I would like to use the functionality of CharM in SOLMAN 4.0.
    When I enter the Tcode /n/tmwflow/proj I receive the waring/error "There is no task list for this project" (/TMWFLOW/TRACK_N114)
    If I create my own task list via Task list --> create
    I get the warning "You cannot change task lists in the SAP namespace"
    What are the steps to define task list for my project?
    Do I need to configure SPRO ... --> Extended Configuration --> Schedule Manager?
    The second warning I get: "NO CTS projects created yet" or
    "The Solution Manager project does not have an active CTS project yet".
    How can these warnings/errors be corrected?

  • Difference between task request and change request

    What is the difference between task request and change request during sap implementation. In general how many tasks will generate during a normal company inmplementation by any functional consultant?

    Hi,
    Change request and task request are same.But generally change request is generated during newly created objects or reports that are transported and task request is used when u regenerate the change request by modifying that object again and transporting it in new change request.
    A particular change request may contain multiple number of task request but that number depends upon number of objects u transfer during generation and transportation.
    Pls do reward points if ans is useful.

  • Triggering Process Definition Tasks Based on Changes to Multiple Attributes

    Hi All,
    I'm in the process of creating a custom GTC connector to provision accounts to an LDAP directory. I've got more than 100 user defined fields with the user object in OIM and about 60 of them will be kept in sync with the user accounts in LDAP. When any of these 60 attributes get updated for a user, I would like OIM to update the attributes for the user in LDAP.
    I know I can add 60 "Change <field name>" tasks to the process definition. However, that would be very inefficient for what I'm trying to do due to the number of attributes I'm dealing with. Often during large reconciliations from the systems of record, multiple attributes will change for each user. So if 20 attributes change for a user in one transaction and I have separate tasks for each attribute, that would result in 20 LDAP updates rather than just one.
    So I'm wondering, is there a way to have one process definition task that will trigger when any of these 60 attributes get updated and include all the attributes and values that got updated in that transaction?
    Thanks

    Thanks for your response.
    I was actually hoping to not have to use a process form to store all the user data for the LDAP provisioning connector. I was hoping to have the "Change" tasks update LDAP directly. The GTC framework seems to want to create a process form to store the target ID, but I would like to avoid storing all the user defined fields there. My reasoning for this is simply to avoid having user data duplicated in another location, which can often lead to sync issues. However, with that being said, if the only way I can gain performance improvements is through storing all the data in the process form, I would be willing to do that. Do you have any suggestions on how I can accomplish the single LDAP modify for multiple attributes without storing all the user defined fields in a process form?
    But in any case, I've attempted your suggestion. I have created a few lookup definitions:
    Code Key | Decode
    USR_LAST_NAME | Change Multiple
    USR_FIRST_NAME | Change Multiple
    USR_LOGIN | Change Multiple
    etc....
    I've then added the "Change Multiple" task to the process definition. That task calls an adapter called adpTESTGTC_GTC. Now if I update last name and first name in the same transaction, I notice that the adpTESTGTC_GTC adapter gets called twice. So it seems like even though there's just one "Change" task, it will still get executed once for each attribute modified. So adpTESTGTC_GTC would essentially be performing the same work for each attribute (that is getting all the user data and updating the process form). Since both LDAP and the Oracle Database are external to the application server, I'm guessing X LDAP modifies is just as bad for performance as X updates to the process form, where X is the number of attributes being updated in the transaction.
    kevin.pinsky wrote:
    When the update completes, if any of the fields change, it will trigger your "Updated" task on your form for that field.I'm also not sure I understand your last sentence. Are you suggesting that I have one "Updated" task for each attribute that's being sync'ed with LDAP? If that's the case, then I'm still doing multiple LDAP modifies for one transaction, right? In the end, my goal is for a reconciliation process that updates up to 60 attributes for a user to just make one LDAP modify with the up to 60 attributes being updated rather than having a separate LDAP modify for each attribute. So if a reconciliation process updates 20 attributes for a user in OIM, I would like a single LDAP modify to update the 20 attributes for the user in LDAP rather than having 20 LDAP modifies that each update one attribute.
    Thanks for your help. I would appreciate any further comments or suggestions.

  • Why the "Change Package" in Transport Connection shows "Request/Tasks"?

    We want to transport our custom InfoCubes from Developement environment to Test environment:
    RSA1 -> Transport Connection, select an InfoCube we created and drag it over to the right frame, group it by "In Dataflow Before and Afterwards". The Package column shows it's attached to $TMP that we would have to change it to a custom package that it can be transported over. We click the Package picture icon with a pencil trying to change the package attached from $TMP to a custom one, but can't find any custom package we created with SE80 from here and instead, in this window, the first column is "Request/Task" and the values under this column are all checkboxes. The last column is "Object Name". I wonder if the "Change Package" picture icon only lists all the request/task for the selected transport objects selected other than the packages we expect? Weird!
    Thanks

    hi Kevin,
    the 'normal' way has been explained by Roberto and Siggi.
    if you still want change package screen in transport connection, it will go to package change/object directory entry screen after you mark the 'request/task' and click 'V'
    Re: Why created package with SE80 can't be found in Transport Connection?

  • How to revert back the changes of a task in a change request ?

    Hello experts,
    Our ABAP team made a script and they have locked a change request for it. Whatever changes made in that script are directly written in that change request through different tasks. Yesterday they opened the script and found that some of the data in that script is missing. The task entry shows that the data is still there which was missing, but I am not able to find out how to revert back those changes which are there in the task, so that the missing data can be brought back again in the script? Can someone please tell me how to solve this problem ?
    Regards,
    Sanket

    Hi,
    If modification assistant was on while making the deletion, then the comment should exist for data which was deleted.
    Else use the version history to display and recover the lost version.
    For eg SE38 -> Give report name -> Display. Utilities -> Versions -> Version Management
    Should show all the TRs which changed the object and can compare/restore versions too.

  • Two tasks under one change request

    hi all,
    when two tasks will be created under one change request, when using same user id.
    is there any harm having different tasks under one change request?
    is it better to have  different change request for different tasks...
    Thx in Advance....

    Hi
    There is no problem to use like taht.
    you can create any number of tasks of diffrent users or same user under same Transport Request.
    it won't create any problem also.
    you need to transport those tasks with that Transport request.
    individuval taska won't be transported.

  • Is deriving or check Change Request attributes in DERIVE_ENTITY or CHECK_ENTITY

    Hi,
    I'd have a requirement to derive or check  the Change Request attributes like Change Request Reason and Change Request Priority , e.g if CR Priority is empty, set to a specific value or Check if Change Request Reason is set.
    I know via an OSS message that we are not able to derive or check CR attributes using BRF+ but can we derive or check using the BADI?

    The BRF+ and BAdI solutions are directed more towards the master data entities. If you "only" want to default or check the CR header, then one idea is to enhance the CR Header handler class. Please see this document that describes how to enhance the CR Header. You don't need to add a field, but you can learn the technique of adding checks, etc. to the GenIL model handler class.

    Tasks are a level under the change request.  You can have multiple tasks under each change request.  You can release a task without releasing the change request, but not vice versa.
