Change Run - 'M' entries deleted from /BI0/M* table

Hello together,
I came across the following problem with master data activation...
After master data loading there appear new entries in all tables M,P, X, Q, Y with OBJVERS='M'. Next step is to execute Change Run, what should result in entries with OBJVERS='A' . Instead, in tables: M,P,X these entries are deleted and in time dependent tables - Q, Y these entries remain in Modified 'M' version. Do you have any idea why Change Run is working that way?
The problem concerns 0UCINSTALLA object in BW 3.5.
Thank you in advance,
Aleksandra

Hello again,
1) Activation - impossible, master data already active.
2) RSRV - 2 tests failed:
Time intervals in Q table for a characteristic with time-dep. master data:

  • How to run insert/update/delete from CDC Change table to target using OWB

    I am planning to set up CDC and publish CDC change table as source data into to OWB. I have come across where I am confused how to apply changes from CDC change table to target database using OWB. For i.e. change tables is containing information like
    operation$, cscn$,commit_timestamp$,xidusn$,....,list of column name
    D,12323223,8/28/2008 1:44:32PM,24,.....,list of column value that have to be deleted from target
    UO,12323224,8/28/2008 1:45:23PM,24,.....,list of column value that have to be updated in target.
    Please advice or give me some hint. Thank you.

    Hi,
    you can wait for 11gR2 with CDC integration or build most of the code outside the owb. To use CDC you must do this things (http://www.oracle.com/technology/oramag/oracle/03-nov/o63tech_bi.html):
    1. Identify the source tables.
    2. Set up a publisher.
    3. Create change tables.
    4. Set up a subscriber.
    5. Subscribe to the source tables, and activate the subscription.
    6. Set up the CDC window.
    7. Prepare a subscriber view.
    8. Access data from the change tables.
    9. Drop the subscriber view, and purge the CDC window.
    10. Repeat steps 6 through 9 to see new data.
    You can do only a few of this inside owb, most of it must be done outside.

  • Duplicate entry is not deleted from the TCA tables

    Hi
    We are using Oracle Customer Online to find the duplicate data and Oracle Data Librarian to remove the duplicacy. The request to remove the duplicates is taken up by ODL and the task is performed. When checked from OCO it shows that the duplicate entry has been erased but when checked in the TCA table HZ_PARITES, the entry is still there. Can anyone please help regarding this as why this is so... after removing the duplicate entry why is it still there in the table or if the entry is still there then why cant you access it through OCO
    Regards
    Sourav Biswas

    Hi,
    Did you check the value for "STATUS" column in HZ_PARTIES table for the deleted records? It must be "D" which reperesents "Deleted". See the "REGISTRY_STATUS" AR lookup which validates the Party Statuses.
    When duplicates are eliminated using Data Librarian/Party Merge, the records are not actually deleted from the database, instead the party status will be changed to "D". This must be the reason for not being able to see the records from Customers Online.
    I guess, the same case might have occurred to your entries.

  • How to remove/delete from a mysql table

    Hello!
    Please can someone help me with this one; I need to remove/delete a a row in a mysql table. When I use the query below, it removes this line from other tables containing the same numbers too. I only want to remove it from this table alone
    String update= ("DELETE FROM info WHERE Number = '" + Nr + "' AND week= " + week+ ");
    THX

    I don't understand this. You're saying that running this query removes values from other tables besides your info table? I don't believe it.
    One thing I'd caution you on is using names like "info" and "number" for tables and columns. They sound suspiciously close to keywords for your database. You'd be better off using less generic, more application specific names.
    But I don't think that explains the behavior you're describing. Either this is a very serious bug in MySQL or a very serious misunderstanding on your part.

  • Deleting from Dynamic Internal table

    Hi,
    How can we delete data from dynamic internal table...
    I have a dynamic internal table <fs_dyn_table> which is of type any and can have any fields...
    I want to delete all those records which have a value of '10' in a field named field1
    I have written my delete statement in the following manner..
    DELETE <fs_dyn_table> WHERE field1 = '10'.....but it is not working...it gives me an error...stating that the line type of table must be statically defined.

    Hi,
    Loop on the internal table into a field-symbol of line type same as the internal table.
    Use assign component statement and then delete the corresponding record.

    HI,
    in case we have deleted entries from smq1 for 2LIS_02_ITM data source in R3 without running jobs that pass these entries to delta queue.  i know its not advisbl todelete directly

    hello.
    now we identified missing POs and filed set up tables with ranges wherever possible ..
    Now my data flow in BW is as folows
    data from R3 comes to DSO 1 ->DSO2->CUBE
    in this DSO1 we did full repair without any selections so all data which was miisng mst have come including delivery date information for all POs as well..here actually we have addded DELIVERY date field to 2lis_02_itm data source.
    now when we ran delta from DSO1 to DSO2 many records came ...till ods active table data is ok.
    but on running delta from DSO2 to CUBE again many records came and here we see that data is coming from change log table of dso2 and here there are many rec for a single PO like- before iamge /after image/NEW IMAGE

  • Snapshot too old when deleting from a "big" table

    Hello.
    I think this is a basic thing (release 8.1.7.4). I must say I don't know how rollback segments really work.
    A table, where new records are continuously inserted and the old ones can be updated in short transactions, should be purged every day by deleting old records.
    This purge has never been done and as a result it has now almost 4 million records, and when I launch the stored procedure that deletes the old records I get the "snapshot too old" error because of the read consistency.
    If I launch the procedure after stopping the application that inserts and updates in the table, then I don't get the error. I guess the problem is that meanwhile the procedure is being executed other transactions also need to use rollback segments so that the rollback segment space that the snapshot needs isn't enough. Do you think this is the problem?
    If this is the case then I suppose that the only solution is increasing the size of the only datafile of the only tablespace for my 4 rollback segments. Am I wrong?
    (Three more questions:
    - Could the problem be solved by locking some rollback segments for the snapshot? How could I do that?
    - What is a discrete transaction?
    I'm a developer, not a dba, but don't tell me to ask my dba because it isn't that easy. Thanks in advance.

    "snapshot too old indicates the undo tablespace does not have enough free space for a long running query" what does this mean? why do I get the same error in two different databases, in the first the size of the datafile of the undo tablespace is 2GB whilst in the second it is only 2MB? How can I know how big the datafile has to be?
    One possible solution could be not deleting the whole table at once but only a few records? Would this work? Why when I try "select count(*) from my_table where rownum = 1" I also get "snapshot too old" when other transactions are running.

  • Deleting from 2 different tables

    HI,
    i have a Database with 2 tables that are identical.
    products (main product table)
    products_update (every morning this one is fill automatically with the list of products)
    So i need to insert/update/delete the products
    add and update works fine
    <cfquery name="update_data" datasource="mydatasource">
        SELECT *

    But i cant figure out how to do the query for delete so i created a select query to see the list of products i want to delete but its giving me the list of product to update i'm confuse  :-)  can someone please point out the obvious to me.

    Thank you

    Guys it is the weekend. Let us give the sarcasm a rest ..
    <cfoutput query="delete_data">
    I am not sure why you are using SELECT's. Normally you can do this kind of thing with just three (3) sql statements. But .. we need more information. The basic idea is clear. But the rules of your application are not.  For example, is no_stock a product id, number in stock, ....?
    - What are the structures of your tables including PK's and relationships?
    - What are the rules? ie In plain english what determines that a particular record needs to be inserted instead of updated or deleted ?

  • Dynamic record deletion from database table

    Hi,
    I need to delete selected records from database table(dynamic names). Table names are being passed from main program with some of their field names. The record to be deleted from the database table is being decided based on the fields passed for the table and their contains passed from the main program.
    It is not possible to write dynamic where clause for DELETE statement directly.
    So, I created a dynamic internal table and i am trying to fetch all records using SELECT statement(for which we can write dynamic where condition, something like...SELECT...WHERE (itab).  ) which need to be deleted in the iternal table.
    Piece of code :
              CONCATENATE c_im v_tablefield1 INTO v_imprtfield1.
              CONCATENATE v_tablefield1 c_in v_imprtfield1
                       into s_condition separated by space.
              APPEND s_condition TO t_condition.
              PERFORM GET_DYNAMIC_ITAB USING s_flds_agtab-tabname
                                    changing t_itab.
              ASSIGN t_itab->* TO <itab>.
    *Select the data (to be deleted) from the database table
               SELECT * FROM (s_flds_agtab-tabname) INTO TABLE <itab>
                 WHERE (t_condition).
    *Delete the records from the table
               IF SY-SUBRC = 0.
                 DELETE (s_flds_agtab-tabname) FROM TABLE <itab>.
               ENDIF.
    Here t_condition is of standard table of WHERETXT.
    t_condition at the run time before giving dump was:
    SPART IN IM_SPART
    AND KUNNR IN IM_KUNNR
    Here IM_SPART is renge type of SPART and IM_KUNNR is renge of KUNNR.
    I am getting a DUMP:
    The WHERE condition has an unexpected format.
    Error analysis
    The current ABAP/4 program attempted to execute an ABAP/4 Open SQL
    statement containing a WHERE condition of the form WHERE (itab) or
    WHERE ... AND (itab). The part of the WHERE condition specified at
    runtime in the internal table itab contains the operator
             IN (v1, ..., vn)
    in incomplete form.
    How to correct the error
    If the error occurred in a non-modified SAP program, you may be
    able to find a solution in the SAP note system.
    If you have access to the note system yourself, use the following
    search criteria:
    "SAPSQL_IN_ILLEGAL_LIST"
    "SAPLZSD_TAB_REFRESH " or "LZSD_TAB_REFRESHU01 "
    "Z_SD_REFRESH_AGTABLES"
    If you cannot solve the problem yourself, please send the
    following documents to SAP:
    I would like to know whether "IN" operator is allowed in (itab) of WHERE clause. While testing I changed the "IN" to "=" specifying a suitable value there. It worked. So please let me know if i can give "IN" operator using renge table in the dynamic where clause.
    Thanking you,
    Surya

    Hi again,  so if you can not use the IN in a dynamic where clause you might be forced to dynamically build the entire select statement,  Here is a sample program which may give you some ideas, notice that we are writing the select statement code, putting it in another program and generating the subroutine at runtime, then call this routine.  I'm sure that this will help you see what you need to do.

  • All Values Deleted from Target System when transporting new values added

    Hi,
    Wasn't really sure where to put this question.
    I created a maintenance view between two Z tables. A main key table and a text table.
    I added the new values to the maintenance view and transported successfully.
    I then had a request to create 3 more values.
    I added these three and transported these to the target QA system.
    However when the transport completed, all entries bar one had been deleted from the Z table but the Z text table had all existing entries plus the three new ones.
    I've tried manually creating a transport and adding all 10 entries but this has the same problems.
    If I SCC1 the entry from one dev client to another it works fine.
    Has anyone come across this problem befor and know how to resolve it?
    Many Thanks
    David

    Yes, I managed to sort it.
    This is what I did:
    I created a new blank transport.
    For the task created under the transport I then opened the task object list.
    I then added two entries in this list. i.e. one for each table that was in the view.
    My entries where:
    Entry 1:
    Program ID: R3TR
    Object Type: TABU
    Object Name: ZNR_REASON
    Then click on the key icon and add:
    Table Name: ZNR_REASON
    Table Keys: 200* (NOTE 200 is our development client). The '*' is needed to that ALL entries are included in the transport.
    Entry 2:
    Program ID: R3TR
    Object Type: TABU
    Object Name: ZNR_REASONT
    Then click on the key icon and add:
    Table Name: ZNR_REASONT
    Table Keys: 200* (As above 200 is our development client). Again the '*' is needed to that ALL entries are included in the transport.
    I hope this helps.
    Regards
    David

  • Delete from inline view

    Hello members,
    No sorry, this is not about key preservation.
    Instead, I have two tables T1 and T2. I want to delete rows from T1 where primary key is also in T2.
    I thought that if I select only from T1 then I would delete from T1. But as it turns out it is the first table mentioned in FROM clause that gets deleted from.
    SQL> create table t1 (x number primary key, c1 varchar2(1));
    Table created.
    SQL> create table t2 (x number primary key, c2 varchar2(1));
    Table created.

    Edit:
    Seems that the select list has nothing to do with it, at all.
    This will delete from T2
    delete (select null from T2, t1 where t2.x = t1.x);And this will delete from T1:
    delete (select null from T1, t2 where t2.x = t1.x);Edited by: Peter on Apr 24, 2012 6:01 AM

    Actually this is about key preservation.
    In 9.2 documentation Oracle stated...
    "You can delete from a join view provided there is one and only one key-preserved table in the join."I do not recall whether this was actually the case in 9i but I think this was probably an outstanding doc bug. By 10g the documentation had changed to...
    "For a DELETE statement, if the join results in more than one key-preserved table, then Oracle Database deletes from the first table named in the FROM clause"I believe it would be more complete to say.
    "For a DELETE statement, if the join results in only one key-preserved table, then Oracle Database deletes from that table. If the join results in more than one key-preserved table, then Oracle Database deletes from the first table named in the FROM clause"

  • Delete From More than 1 table without using execute immediate

    Hi,
    Am new to PL/SQL, I had been asked to delete few of the table for my ETL jobs in Oracle 10G R2. I have to delete(truncate) few tables and the table names are in another table with a flag to delete it or not. So, when ever I run the job it should check for the flag and for those flag which is 'Y' then for all those tables should be deleted without using the Execute Immediate, because I dont have privilages to use "Execute Immediate" statement.
    Can anyone help me in how to do this.
    Regards
    Senthil

    Then tell you DBA's, or better yet their boss, that they need some additional training in how Oracle actually works.
    Yes, dynamic sql can be a bad thing when it is used to generate hundreds of identical queries that differ ony in the literals used in predicates, but for something like a set of delte table statements or truncate table statements, dynamic sql is no different in terms of the effect on the shared pool that hard coding the sql statements.
    This is a bad use of dynamic sql, because it generates a lot of nearly identical statements due to the lack of bind variables. It is the type of thing your DBA's should, correctly, bring out the lead pipe for.
    DECLARE
       l_sql VARCHAR2(4000);
    BEGIN
       FOR r in (SELECT account_no FROM accounts_to_delete) LOOP
          l_sql := 'DELETE FROM accounts WHERE account_no = '||r.account_no;
          EXECUTE IMMEDIATE l_sql;
       END LOOP;
    END;This will result in one sql statement in the shared pool for every row in accounts_to_delete. Although there is much else wrong with this example, from the bind variable perspective it should be re-written to use bind variables like:
    DECLARE
       l_sql  VARCHAR2(4000);
       l_acct NUMBER;
    BEGIN
       FOR r in (SELECT account_no FROM accounts_to_delete) LOOP
          l_sql := 'DELETE FROM accounts WHERE account_no = :b1';
          EXECUTE IMMEDIATE l_sql USING l_acct;
       END LOOP;
    END;However, since you cannot bind object names into sql statements, the difference in terms of the number of statements that end up in the shared pool between this:
    DECLARE
       l_sql VARCHAR2(4000);
    BEGIN
       FOR r in (SELECT table_name, delete_tab, trunc_tab
                 FROM tables_to_delete) LOOP
          IF r.delete_tab = 'Y' THEN
             l_sql := 'DELETE FROM '||r.table_name;
          ELSIF r.trunc_tab = 'Y' THEN
             l_sql := 'TRUNCATE TABLE '||r.table_name;
          ELSE
             l_sql := NULL;
          END IF;
          EXECUTE IMMEDIATE l_sql;
       END LOOP;
    END;and something like this:
    BEGIN
       DELETE FROM tab1;
       DELETE FROM tab2;
       EXECUTE IMMEDIATE 'TRUNCTE TABLE tab3';
    END;or this as a sql script
    DELETE FROM tab1;
    DELETE FROM tab2;
    TRUNCTE TABLE tab3;is absolutley nothing.
    Note that if you are truncating some of the tables, and wnat/need to use a stored procedure, you are going to have to use dynamic sql for the truncates anyway since trncate is ddl, and you cannot do ddl in pl/sql wiothout using dynamic sql.

  • Deduplication results deleted (DELETE FROM S_DEDUP_RESULT)

    Good afternoon experts,
    We do have installed Siebel 8.1.1.10 and integrated with Oracle Enteprise Data Quality.
    Currently we are working with OOTB rules as defined in OEDQ. In this phase of project we do have only 2 environments installed: DEV and TST.
    On TST matching of both Accounts and Contacts is working fine.
    On DEV only matching the contacts matching does work, Accounts not. When investigating log files, we can see that potential Account candidates are sent back to siebel, but after that weird things happen on Siebel side:
    results are deleted from siebel.s_dedup_result table instead to be written (abstract from log file):

    Hi Mike
    sorry for late reply. I was on vacatin for couple of days. Here I do share with you dnd properties from TST and from DEV environment.
    From my point of view we didnt make any significant changes related to the account id. Since am fairly new to the OEDQ, i cant judge if there is difference between these two files tht can cause issue we do experience.
    Please share your thoughts after reviewing two dnd.properties files
    thanks
    best regards
    milan
