Change session Date/Time

Hi,
How could I change the session Date/Time without changing server Date/Time?
Cheers
Soheil

Using the nls parameters it is possible to change to a different calendar type but I believe you will have to run a utility to which you supply the calendar. There is also a parameter to set the sysdate to a fixed value for testing, fixed_date, but I believe that is instance wide.
Here are the nls parameters from v$nls_parameters. You will need to pull the manuals for more information:
PARAMETER VALUE
NLS_LANGUAGE AMERICAN
NLS_TERRITORY AMERICA
NLS_CURRENCY $
NLS_ISO_CURRENCY AMERICA
NLS_NUMERIC_CHARACTERS .,
NLS_CALENDAR GREGORIAN
NLS_DATE_FORMAT DD-MON-RR
NLS_DATE_LANGUAGE AMERICAN
NLS_CHARACTERSET US7ASCII
NLS_SORT BINARY
NLS_TIME_FORMAT HH.MI.SSXFF AM
NLS_TIMESTAMP_FORMAT DD-MON-RR HH.MI.SSXFF AM
NLS_TIME_TZ_FORMAT HH.MI.SSXFF AM TZH:TZM
NLS_TIMESTAMP_TZ_FORMAT DD-MON-RR HH.MI.SSXFF AM TZH:TZM

  • Changing meeting date/time doesn't reflects to all atendees

... but everybody gets a mail notification of the change.
We cannot figure out whats happening. We tried to reproduce the problem but we couldn't. Anyway we can see:
    a) The owner of the event has his calendar modified
    b) Everybody got mail notification of the date change (Some of them accepted the change, some other didn't answered but nobody rejected)
    c) Some atendees also have their calendars correctly updated. All of them didn't answered the mail notification.
    d) Other don't have their calendars updated. Most of them accepted the change but others didn't answered.
Is this a malfunction??? Are we doing something bad??? Has everybody to accept the change for being actually changed???
    Thanks in advance

Unfortunately for us, several calendar atendees remained not "datechanged". To summarize show extracts from user "josa" that is OK and "jralemeda" who cried not having his calendar modified (but he was not the unique). Apparently a modification occured 2008-04-08 08:02 for both!!! Interesting... I wonder what made the modification (Outlook Connector at the users end or Outlook Connector at the owners end).

I found something more. ALL the calendars well updated have X-S1OC-OUTLOOK-FREEBUSY:2 while ALL the not up-to-date have X-S1OC-OUTLOOK-FREEBUSY:1 I can't figure out exactly whats the meaning of this attribute. Can it be the point?Perhaps. A little digging internally shows that 1=tentative and 2=busy. This may translate back to an action by the receiver of the confirmation of event change email you were referring to earlier. If the user 'accepted' the change then there was no problem, if they didn't accept, or chose to confirm later then the handling of this may be incorrect.
I should note at this stage that I have a passing knowledge of Outlook Connector -- I don't support it day-to-day.
Worst for me is that getting the differences between atendees appointments also found another problem that users told me sometimes: In some calendars aren't reflected all the atendees. What is more, the organizer and two attendats are the only ones who have all the attendants in the appointment. The other seven dont't have two of them. I found that the three ones OK have this attribute and not the others:This could all be a symptom of the same underlying problem/behaviour.
Just hypothesising here -- if a user didn't 'accept' the change in meeting time it is possible the Outlook Connector created a 'new/duplicate' event as a results which didn't have a lot of the details of the old event details including the correct list of attendees.
Are you able to replicate this behaviour in a small test-scenario e.g.
=> Create an event in outlook connector inviting another person who also uses Outlook Connector.
=> Change the time of the event -- this should hopefully send an event change confirmation email to the other person.
=> Have the person reject (not accept) the change/alternatively accept the change.
=> Compare the results to see if you can reproduce the behaviour/symptoms you mentioned above.

    Shane.

  • Getting the Date "01.01.1601" by changing the Date/Time in Photoshop Organizer?

I work with Photoshop Elements 13. I would like to change the Date and time of a video in the Elements organizer.
I try to change the Date and time like the date and file from the file...
the problem is that the date is 01.01.1601 and this is not the right date from the file
Why does it not work? Any idea?

About the various dates and times in Elements:
    http://www.johnrellis.com/psedbtool/photoshop-elements-faq.htm#_All_the_different
Your problem is that video formats don't support metadata. You can set the date in the organizer, it will be kept only in the catalog, not in the files themselves. Only the first option in your dialog is useful.

  • How can I change database date/time(Sysdate) without changing OS date

    Hello all,
I have a need to change the sysdate on a database for testing purposes and need to set the database date to a future date(ex. 6/30/2009). I have 2 other instances on the same server so changing the OS date is not an option. I'm familiar with setting the sysdate to a fixed value, but doing so changes the date to a constant because I still need the time to elapse. I've searched the forum and cannot find a way to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,

Write your own sysdate function in pl/sql and create public synonym.
    Sorry, It doesn't work.

  • How do I change the Date/Time on a Time Capsule?

    Problem:
I have set up Timed Access Controls on my Time Capsule to restrict the hours my children can access the internet.  Because this allows limitations on each device it is convenient to restrict their phones but not interfere with the desktops (for example).  But the Date/Time on my Time Capsule seems to be incorrect because the Time Capsule is restricting the hours - just not the ones I set (seems to be getting later and later before the change take affect).
I can't find where to check the date/time or make the modifications to it to confirm.
    I'm using Airport Utility 6.1 (610.31).
    Hope you can help.

Maybe this helps to install it on Mountain Lion:

  • IPod touch keeps changing the date, time, and timezone on its own

Yesterday I noticed that the iPod was showing the wrong date, so I fixed it. I also checked the computer I was syncing to, but it had the correct date, time, etc. Now when I woke up the iPod today, the time, date, and timezone had all been changed again. Has anybody else had this problem, or know what I need to do to stop it? Thanks!

When you sync the iPod, you have to sync it with a "new" iTunes window.
Before you connect the iPod, exit out of iTunes, then reload it, and finally connect your iPod to it.
I believe there was a software update that fixed this...

  • How do I change the date/time of a dll created in LabVIEW without killing it

I use the LabVIEW (6.0.2 of course) Application builder to create a dll, and I cannot enter creation information, nor can I modify the date time property, which labVIEW does not properly set. I have tried to modify this information in Visual C++, but that destroys the dll because it wasn't compiled in VC++, and therefore isn't compatible.
If anyone knows how to correctly modify the date/time (and the checksum) without destroying the dll, I would be gratefull to know.
    Thank you

    Dear Sir,
I was browsing through MSDN in trying to find the info you are looking for and I step into this next file:
"Peering Inside the PE: A Tour of the Win32 Portable Executable File Format"
Which you can locate in the msdn.microsoft.com page by going to the search box and typing that title. The first result is that document. Also you may want to check the "imagehlp" file of the msdn library. This documents provides information on the DLL standard and functions.
    Good luck!...

  • Programatically change the Date Time series

Is there a way to set Date time series programatically thru Javascript? I have Time dimenson and I have defined a DTS as YTD. Now based upon the selection of the month by end user I need to show YTD numbers in IR?
Any idea how do I achieve that? I am not seeeing any option to call DTS thru javascript?

I do not believe that option is available.
9.3.1 introduced the new interface into OLAP Essbase Queries. My guess is that there will be more functionality added in future releases.

  • Change shipping dates/times for confirmed schedule line

    Hi,
I am having a problem changing the confirmed schedule line in a Sales Order VA01.
I have added my code into the user-exit
    *       FORM USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBEP                              *
    *       This userexit can be used to move some fields into the sales  *
    *       dokument schedule line workaerea VBEP                         *
    *       SVBEP-TABIX = 0:  Create schedule line                        *
    *       SVBEP-TABIX > 0:  Change schedule line                        *
    *       This form is called at the end of form VBEP_FUELLEN.          *
    FORM userexit_move_field_to_vbep.
          vbep-ezeit  = '235900'.
          vbep-wauhr  = '235900'.
          vbep-lduhr  = '235900'.
          vbep-mbuhr  = '235900'.
          vbep-tduhr  = '235900'.
However, in the above code I manage to only change the first schedule line in case I choose a delivery proposal. I need to change the line with a confirmed quantity. Instead I change only the first shedule line without a confirmed quantity.
Question: Which user-exit can i use to change shipping times dates for all schedule lines or just confirmed schedule lines?
    Thanx

    Hi,
Use form routine "USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE" in MV45AFZZ.  Update VBEP as well as XVBEP Structures.

  • How do i change Session Expire Time in APEX?

    Greetings,
I am developing in APEX 3.2.
Every few minutes while i am developing i have to log in again, it gets tiresome every day having to login 100 times.
So i would like to know where i can change the time it takes for the session to expire so i can change it tom some big value, let's say like 8 or 12 hours.
I would also like to change the time a regular user can stay logged in cause it also has a small time for the session expire and since i have to test everything i develop it would also be great not having to logging every few minutes when i am testing something.
I check the places i remembered in administration and user preferences but apart from acount validity i didn t find anything.
    Thanks everyone,
    Best regards

  • Can I access the my PC's clock and change the date/time?

I'm new to Java programming and I wanted to write a program that would set my computer's date as I wanted. But I don't know what class and methods to use and I didn't find anything in the Java API Specification. Please help me.
    Thank you

I don't think you can do this with java. I think the only way to do this is to drop out of java via JNI.

  • How to change the date and time during OVM installation for Fusion Apps

    Hi,
The customer is using Fusion Instance which is a V1 (Build 19) OVM installation shipped by Oracle with Demo Data (including seeded user IDs and roles) in it.
Now they have issue with Date format for the application on the screens is showing MM/DD/YYYY where as it should be (Singapore) Standard is DD/MM/YYYY.
Q/A: How to change the date/time in OVM image

Not a problem. There are a number of other system and network setup commands that you might find useful at some time. From within the Remote Desktop Admin in the Send Unix Command window type:
    networksetup -help
    systemsetup -help
That will give you lists of the commands, including the one I posted above, with their basic syntax. They're handy to know.
    Cheers.
